hiii!! yes i dooo !! it's been a couple years since i applied but i can gather some important tips for you! i did apply to some of the ivies and i don't mind sharing my experience so far! i go to an ivy rn and i will say. deffff do your research on school environments (like the culture on campus, how they deal w mental health (!!!), and resources available to you as an international student). feel free to message me off anon if you need more tips or the tea on shitty school culture bc girl (gn). i got you.

start working on your personal essay early! i'm pretty sure a lot of schools are becoming test optional (?? right ??), so your personal essay is what's gonna make you STAND OUTTTT baby !!!! (and extra curriculars, volunteering, anything else like that)

have only a FEW people you trust look over your essays (personal and supplementals). stay true to yourself even if you get a bunch of critiques

pls. don't apply to tooo many schools bc this shit is so expensive and i regret applying to schools i knew i wouldn't wanna go to. be realistic !!!!! PLS DO RESEARCH ON EACH SCHOOL. PLS.

take your time with those supplemental essays. people told me to just recycle essays (change things up ofc) bc a lot ask similar prompts (to save time), but i feel like this is just so inauthentic. i def rushed some supplemental essays :,) don't be like me

make sure you're applying to a few safeties (in your case, international-friendly), targets, and reaches!! focus on the targets ofc but i think it's always good to shoot your shot hehe

i agree with your older sister tho!!!! idk for some reason writing them down makes me so much more efficient LMAO (tho i'm liking this app because in the paid version it gives you reminders when to start a new task!). but yeah, tbh i think it's heavily connected to self-discipline, which is a skill we all have the potential to develop, even if it's difficult!!! it's like getting into a habit, you know? like a routine; and then your self-discipline skills become stronger and stronger. one step at a time!! and try not to be too hard on yourself when you don't get as much done as you had hoped; you're trying your best and that's all that anyone (including yourself!) can ask of you! just keep pushing anon, you'll get there <3

i feel like you’re one of those people that’s a little bit overly compassionate (i am tooo) and feels bad for people regardless of how good of a person they are, and that shit can suck sometimes bc you’re like wtf why do i feel bad for this person who kinda sucks?? it’s just because you have high empathy and Don’t apologize for that, a lot of people hate on it bc they don’t understand it/don’t have the capacity to be as caring and kind hearted as you are - 💜 anon

It really does suck at times, because like I'll gen feel bad for people who (when you look at what they've done) don't really deserve it. I'm glad you can understand how it feels. Like do you think I want to feel bad for Cole? Especially since people have been telling me over and over, he's not a good person? Like, no obviously I don't. But it's like even then, I can see him being a bit tilted by the amount of priv quote retweets he's getting, when all he posted was a cosplay that he was probably really proud of. Like I AM SORRY I CAN'T HELP IT BUT FEEL A LITTLE SORRY FOR HIM! I do wish I was more, cold, at times.

They should be called that! I usually only go for names-combinations for the ships names (so kamisero and serokami and seronari and so on), but I’m sure if they were a bigger ship that would be the name! It’s not kamisero, but there’s a fic by @shizuumi151 in which they call themselves that, by the way~ (……….it’s honestly one of the fics I’ve read the most times in recent times so tbh if you feel like it you should check it out (σ･з･)σ )
