My rant thoughts on the Our Skyy 2 trailer as someone who has watched all the shows and the original Our Skyy and wants to write down all my thoughts so I can come back to them later and laugh about how stupid I was or be amazed by my own genius..

Warning: I wrote a lot!

I was SO excited when Sia Dai started playing in the very first second! For those who don’t know Sia Dai is the ost of the original Our Skyy and it’s an acapella song by 5 U which slaps. I thought they might use a different song but its nice to have the same one. Plus I’m sure we are going to get more songs overall. With so many singers in the cast I’m going to be surprised if GMMTV doesn’t capitalise on it. And with so many characters who play guitar 🙄 I’m sure there’s going to be plenty of musical scenes. It wouldn’t be a GMMTV show if somebody didn’t pull out a guitar.

The Eclipse I am beyond excited to see Akk and Ayan again. They have taken over my every thought for over half a year now and I’m sure I’ll love whatever I get from Our Skyy. But what the hell is going on. They’re in cowboy hats? masks? The leading theory which I agree with is that Wat is making a film and they are acting for him. While I would have been very happy with AkkAyan being cute with each other for 2 episodes straight, these boys deserve to have a bit of fun. We barely got to see them as just boyfriends, without the pressures from the school. I lowkey don’t give a fuck about Kan and Thua but for the sake of my own enjoyment I will pretend like Thua never did what he did. I wish it was all AkkAyan though, they’re the only ones I care about. It would be cool if we got a discussion between Thua and Akk or Ayan about it since it got rushed over in the show but I don’t think its likely. I want Akk and Ayan to be deliriously happy and in love even if its in the form of cowboy shenanigans. I still hope the earring theory is true although it does look like Ayan is wearing two earrings in the trailer. Thua does get punched in the trailer which made me very happy. Akk’s face at 1:16 is the only thing I’ve been able to think about since I saw it. It is now my pfp. I can’t wait to give GMMTV all my money to buy one of those solstice hats. Luckily my sister was with me for emotional support when the trailer released, I might have cried. They mean so much to me and I’m not sure what I’m going to do when they’re gone.

Bad Buddy I’m so excited to see Pat and Pran again! I don’t actually mind Pat’s hair although I’ve seen a lot of people hating it. I think its hilarious that he stole Korn’s hair and it would be funny af if that was something the characters actually did because they’re bffs not just because of how the actors look. It’s sad theres no InkPa but it would be a disservice to them to just squeeze them in on the side. MilkLove deserve more which is why I hope 23.5 is coming soon. I’ve seen PatPran in the trailer described as sluts and I have to agree. What’s with the finger thing Pat? It was a hell of a jumpscare to see that right after Akk and Ayan’s cute cowboy moment. BUT! I didn’t notice at first but I think Pran is wearing a Nong Nao sleeping mask which is super cute and also definitely a chance for GMMTV to sell more stuff. I look forward to seeing Architecture and Engineering gang shenanigans and I am praying for WaiKorn in whatever form they are willing to give me. That scene of patpran lying on top of each other really reminds me of the ‘do you want to be friends” “do you?” moment from the first Bad Buddy trailer, the poster for which has been my header image from the moment I first knew what Bad Buddy was.

Vice Versa PUEN AND TALAY 😭 FRIEND CREDITS 😭😭😭 I miss friend credits so much but don’t think we are going to get them again. Maybe some version of it with Tup and Tou but it won’t be the same. I hope we get a glimpse of how the characters in the other universe are doing but I also don’t think it’s likely. Puen and Talay were very cute in the trailer. They’re sitting with a kid, could it be their son? a random kid they abducted? They are engaged it would make sense for them to be the couple to get married (if a couple is going to get married). It does look like they’re living together and are still dorks in love. Puen wearing the friend credits shirt and Talay wearing the helmet makes me miss them. I really hope the episodes have colour names like the original show and hopefully the same level of amazing detail as well. It’s what Vice Versa deserves for being GMMTV’s most detailed and underrated show.

My School President When I watched the Our Skyy trailer from GMMTV2023 I was not expecting to care so much about msp. Back then I couldn’t give a fuck about whatever stupid high school show these kids were going to be in. I was a cynic back then, I wasn’t expecting msp to be such a sweet and wonderful breath of fresh air and for Gemini and Fourth to put their all into Tinn and Gun. I’ve been listening to Saliva non-stop recently and all the songs are so good. There were already theories floating around that msp would have a body swap episode but the truth is even cooler. It looks like they’re doing a soul swap, Tinn and Gun, Sound and Win, Tiw and Por and Pat and Yo have swapped actors. The question is how much is going to change, how much of the show are they going to recreate like this? It’s a fun idea, I can understand why msp fans are disappointed though, they don’t really get new content and a lot of people wanted to see them in university. UNLESS! it’s all a misdirect and Tiw is filming something where Tinn plays as Gun ect.. but remembering the OffGun Our Skyy episode when they swapped bodies it would be on brand for GMMTV to some kind of swap in one of the episodes. Also why are they at the NLMG school? I saw a theory say it’s a crossover with Vice Versa and they’re in an alternate universe but I doubt its that intricate. It was probably just easier to film there. Fourth as Tinn in Gun’s dessert shop wearing the glasses is SO cute. I can’t wait to see Fourth do his best at playing our head over heels simp Tinn. And for those thinking the scene at the end of the trailer is going to be a kiss, there is no way that isn’t one of Tinn’s many delusions. I hope we get a bit of TiwPor, they deserved more time in the actual show and I still think if would have been great if they were secretly dating the entire time.

Never Let Me Go These episodes look like they’re going to be very interesting!! It looks like Palm and Neung might travel to the past? They are wearing a lot of interesting clothing and are in interesting locations. You would hope they get a chance to chill out and be regular teens but that’s unlikely. If it is a time travel plot I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. They’ve got brain and brawn and a lot of dedication to each other. Their forehead leaning moment at the end of the trailer is beautiful, I can’t wait to see that scene.

a Boss and a Babe Even if it hasn’t finished yet I already adore Cher and Boss and I’m sure the Our Skyy episode will be as fun and enjoyable as the show. I saw some people theorising that they might get a body swap because there’s a scene of Cher wearing a suit but I think its more likely to be him goofing around. It’s nice to know that even when the show ends there will be some more of them.

Star in My Mind I’m not particularly fond of Star in My Mind, it was cute but kind of boring but seeing adorable established couple Khabkluen and Daonuea in Sky in your Heart was one of my favourite parts of that half of the show so it will be nice to see some more of that. I wonder what will happen with their friends and the vague side couple stuff that seemed to be going on, especially considering that Winny and Satang are quite popular now. I wonder what the situation is with all of their friends yelling at them to kiss, maybe a proposal but they’re still in university so I doubt it. I’m sure it will be cute.

Tale of a Thousand Stars This is the one I’m least excited for, I didn’t really love atots it wasn’t particularly interesting to me. I was disappointed we didn’t get to see Tian’s proper return to the village, using his teaching skills with the kids and seeing how having no/little contact for so long affected their relationship. So hopefully these episodes will provide some of that.

because i’m in desperate need of some content about my ocs, only to be stopped by the fact that only i can produce said content

🌧️ when they're older, they'll probably only be about 165 cm tall (about 5'5")

🌧️ my first drawing of neph depicts them with long hair, but in the picrew, they had shorter hair. both depictions are correct. 💧 if you wanna know why they cut their hair... stress got to them.

🌧️ they bear a massive grudge against octavinelle. jade especially (despite what my pfp will tell you), mostly because of past trauma with liars, half-truths, and false trust. 💧 everyone knows it too. neph isn't a violent person in the sense that they don't beat people up for the fun of it (looking at floyd). they're actually pretty sweet once you get to know them well, but... 💧 unfortunately, the octa-trio don't get that privilege. whenever they enter their line of sight (or would it be sound?) they immediately turn bitter and harsh.

🌧️ has probably fought floyd at one point... and won. 💧 on that note, their favourite fighting style is 'drunken boxing'! it's very hilarious watching them make a fool out of themself to trick their opponents, and then turn around and beat the shit out of them.

🌧️ musically gifted (if the bracketed lyric in the tags didn't tell you as much), but likes singing over playing instruments. makes for a good way to 'see' their surroundings.

🌧️ has definitely bumped their hip on the corner of the table and cried.

🌧️ made the ‘i never learned how to fucking read’ joke one time. it’s 100% true.

🌧️ has a ton of siblings, all of them younger. the second-oldest is a year younger than them. 💧 they do have older 'siblings', but in the 'found family' kinda way. 💧 family dude right here. will die for their loved ones if it ever came to that (... is that why they wake up in a coffin?)

🌧️ sleeps in the fetal position. curls up under the sheets and just... passes out. will probably cuddle a pillow... or grim... or you, if you were ok with that. 💧 good luck to future roommates; neph wakes up pretty early (around 5-6 AM), and is a light sleeper.

🌧️ bit of a sweet tooth, but they like snacks they can nibble on and store in their cheeks like a chipmunk. would share their snacks with you.

🌧️ dances in the kitchen when they think no one is watching. please dance with them, it would make them very happy :3

🌧️ puts paprika (or some sorta spice, forgot the name) on pineapples. it tastes good to them. 💧 inspired by a snack i had during my vacation ;D

🌧️ usually goes barefoot, it's not worth the hassle to put on shoes for them. if they have to, they like ones with 'taps' on the soles (think of tap-dancing shoes) 💧 this is because they have pretty good hearing, and can use the 'clicks' as echolocation. 💧 unfortunately, this also means loud noises are the bane of their eardrums and existence. sorry sebek.

🌧️ they have good heat tolerance, but immediately freeze when it gets below 20°C (68°F)... which is a problem they often face during their stay in ramshackle.

🌧️ they don't know when their birthday is because they never celebrate it. they still like celebrating their friends' birthdays, but not their own. 💧 it's not anything too angsty. they legitimately cannot remember when they were born. it's probably because no one told them.

🌧️ fire terrifies them. or, at least, when it's burning too close for comfort. idia's overblot and the trip to the underworld gave them a mental breakdown. 💧 maybe it has to do with the house fire. the flames were the last thing they ever saw.

one thing, though—i was laughing when you mentioned my pfp because i’m not even a feline enthusiast, and i’m allergic to them. it’s just that i find the icon picture itself cute and funny, so it was hilarious that it’s how you had pictured me when you thought of me, haha. oh, and the sawako face claim works out as well because i do have jet black hair, except that i don’t have any bangs, and i prefer a short haircut (i only had to grow my hair out because my health degree program requires us to wear a chignon most of the time. ugh!)

Okay, but I am laughing over here at the irony! It sucks you’re allergic to cats and I can see why you wouldn’t like them if they make you all sneezy and gross feeling but yeah, the icon picture is adorable! It just did not work out well for actually inserting you into a universe, something I do with any of the readers I start to recognize by name or favourite characters (it fleshes out the world’s just that much more when I write my little cheesy stuff for myself or imagine myself/my OC’s in the various ‘verses!) That’s so weird that your health degree program specifies a certain hairstyle and that’s really gender-biased, as I’m assuming they don’t make men have chignons! I hope you’ll get to have your hair back to how you prefer it when you finish your degree (with great success, as I know you will!). I really lucked out in that, even when I was doing my clinical work for my degree in the health field, it was only the standard – long hair pulled back and I had to get rid of my funky colored hair and have it only natural colors while in the program. Thankfully my current workplace is fine with whatever I want to do with my hair, as long as I don’t shed into the pill bottles. And I’m glad you were at least familiar with the universe, even if it’s not one you’re deeply invested in! I just honestly could see you in that universe so well, plus another couple universes but the fandoms for those are so, so small that I assume nobody knows them haha!

brOTP: either larsa or drace. maybe both. i DO hc that drace found him wandering not long after the initial attack on landis and kind of took him under her wing so she’s the mom friend for sure. also him and larsa are totally homies. yes he’s sworn to protect him and larsa is his liege but also consider larsa seeing him as another big brother/father figure. CONSIDER IT

OTP: ok i’m predictable, vayne, in a sort of “i’m sad and emotionally vulnerable and just had to kill my brothers, you’re the closest person to my age i know I AM ONCE AGAIN ASKING FOR YOUR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT” and it goes from there. everything is angsty and sucks until postgame (nobody dies because it makes me sad au) and they get 2 be happy together :)

favourite line: “my hands are stained with blood, i see little reason to stay them now.” mostly because first of all it’s a badass line that seems so edgy and tough but at the same time, it’s the last words he says to his father to ensure him that the solidor name is safe with him, that he’ll protect his brother no matter the cost, and it makes me feel a lot of sad things

brOTP: cid. i mean this was fucking obvious but their dynamic is so fucking funny to me. are they friends???? are they father and son??? nobody knows. the archadian political system is in shambles. vayne just goes to draklor to “test” expensive machinery re: fly hoveribkes really fast and ends up breaking them but his father funds it so who cares!!!!! cid was like ok fucked up the first three sons but fourth time’s the charm . im adopting this one.

nOTP: larsa, they’re literal brothers . ok . Actual Brothers . nonea that shit .

random headcanon: his best talent is sleeping anywhere, anytime. with his eyes open at a meeting? yes. the gardens on a bench? yes. literally anywhere except his room? absolutely. everyone tells him this is irresponsible but he has no sleep schedule nor self preservation instincts so he just keeps doing it. they have to tell new staff and judges that is they see the solidor heir just sleeping somewhere he shouldn’t be to just pretend like he isn’t there. shh

unpopular opinion: regardless of how shitty some of his actions were, his motivation being preventing his little brother (who he really considers his only family) from having to do things like he did and live with the weight of them (re: fratricide) makes me uwu so hard.

song i associate with them: dream suite in sea major. the weird audio distortion and a few of the lines rlly remind me of the final battle with him, such as:

As per usual, Richie really only had eyes for you at first because of your curves and appearance.

Richie would swear up and down to the Losers that you were meant for him because of your similar hair and the way your curves fit you perfectly. (of course earning a few groans and eye rolls from the gang)

When Beverly actually had to step up and personally apologize for Richie’s very inappropriate comments about you and you just laughed and said it was “okay.” WHICH ONLY ENCOURAGED RICHIE TO SAY MORE ABOUT YOU, BUT THIS TIME, TO YOUR FACE.

The first time Richie and you actually officially met was after Beverly apologized to you for him and he strutted up, leaned his tall body against a locker, locked eyes with you, and told you a terrible pickup line.

You only responded with a laugh and told one back and lemme tell you this boy was Sh00K. He did not expect you to respond like that and suddenly this boy looked at you for more than your curves? He found you very funny and, lucky for him, you found him hilarious too.

So he asked you out and you couldn’t help but agree to the date and went out for nice cliche milkshakes.

There he used a ton of his accents, a ton of his pickup lines, and a ton of his jokes. But yet he continued to talk as you showed off your photographs and talked about your passion in reading.

And one more thing: he noticed the amount of curses that flew out of your mouth and even opted to counting them, losing track as there was just that many.

That date Richie Tozier learned something.

You and him have a lot more things in common than expected.

You and Glenn Rhee don’t have as many things in common as you and Richie Tozier do, but you do have a few things that Glenn loves to see in a partner.

Confidence. Your confidence and brains was what really made Glenn fall in love.

You could be trapped inside of a building with walkers surrounding you two outside and you’d say a joke corresponding to the situation and Glenn would have to stop and laugh to himself quietly, of course not giving you the satisfaction that he liked your joke even though you know he does.

Glenn was also really pale when the apocalypse first started and due to being out so much, the two of you got extremely tan and hey, one more thing in common with the man, right?
