PART TWO!
You truly made all of your worst decisions when under the influence of alcohol. You blamed it on the fact that you really didn’t get the chance to go out all that often now that you were a full time member of the BAU Team. But the job was sometimes rewarding, and considering you’d been working on consultations all week and not a full time case, you were really looking forward to stretching your legs this friday night and getting some much needed relaxation in before you had to stare evil in the eye one more time.
“Girls’ Night Out! No male detectives, partners, Special Supervisory Agents, Unit Chiefs, OR Doctors!” Penelope cheered as you arrived at her apartment that night prior to your eventful outing.
“God I needed this,” Emily sighed, taking a sip of her drink. “I can’t remember the last time I got to kick back with a glass of chardonnay.”
“You sent me a picture of your drink two days ago, and it didn’t exactly look like water,” JJ laughed.
“Ah you see, my dear JJ, that wasn’t kicking back. That was therapy.”
“Honestly, though, it’s going to be good to get out of the house. I swear, the only places I’ve been for the last month have been my apartment and work,” you sigh, downing the last of the drink Penelope had handed you on the way in.
“What happened to that guy you were seeing, Y/N? Was he that bad?”
“Don’t even mention it. He took me back to his place and he didn’t even have a mattress on the floor, wanted us to do it on his couch,” you groan. “The couch that was also housing all of his laundry. And I’m not positive it was even clean laundry.”
You really had been having the absolute worst luck with men recently; other than your aforementioned tinder date, the only men who had shown any interest in you being serial killers who wanted to murder you and married cops looking to fool around with an FBI agent. Not the most auspicious of dating pools.
“Okay, operation get Y/N laid is a go. Ladies, your jobs tonight, should you choose to accept it, is to become the best wing-women this town has ever seen!” Penelope joked, and you found yourself giggling at just the idea, thankful that they were taking the time to try to cheer you up.
“Oh I’m all in. I’m warning you now, Y/N, my wing-woman success rate is pretty high. I’ve helped multiple couples achieve not only orgasm, but also marriage and kids.” Emily boasted.
“Emily, next time you might want to think about the wording of that one,” JJ laughed. “But I’m in too, you could use a little unwinding.”
“Not you too, JJ. You were supposed to be our voice of reason tonight.” You giggle into your cup, feeling the effect of your starter alcohol already.
“Nope. We’re having no responsible adults in our midst tonight. That’s why I’ve already arranged for our favourite Doctor to come and pick us up when the last of us falls tonight. He’s at a screening of some Indie Russian flick until 2am which is probably about perfect for our plans.”
This is the first you’ve heard of Penelope’s plans, but you’re not against it. With a solid escape route, you can let loose as much as you want tonight and know that all of your friends are fully able to have as much fun as possible tonight.
“Well, that’s the plan for us, sweetcheeks. Maybe you’ll get lucky.” Penelope winked at you with a nefariously innocent look on her face. And suddenly you weren’t quite as sure you trusted her…
–X–
After your first margarita at the bar you were still feeling fine. Sure, you were talking a lot louder than you usually did, and if you saw yourself in the mirror you’d probably start giggling instantly at the stupid, semi-permanent grin on your face, but you were feeling so relaxed that it was of no consequence.
You’d moved swiftly from Penelope’s apartment to the nearest downtown bar. It looked pretty seedy to you, and the lighting was so low you could barely make out the faces of your friends in their seats at the same table as you, but you were sure some of that was just the alcohol blurring your vision.
Your hearing though was still in top shape, which was why when Penelope asked her next question, you almost spit the drink out of your mouth, rushing to laugh.
“Okay, fuck, marry, kill, Hotch, Morgan, Reid.” She giggled as she posed the question to her teammates.
“Oh come on now, that’s not fair.” Emily laughed at the question posed.
“You’re right, I don’t know a woman alive that doesn’t want a ride on my chocolate thunder.” Penelope let out a faux dreamy sigh and took another swig of her drink.
“And marrying Reid just seems wrong. He’s like our brother at this point.” JJ points out, just shuddering at the thought.
“So we’re all in agreement? Fuck Morgan, marry Hotch and lovingly bury Reid six foot under?” Emily laughs and the other two nod.
“Nope,” is all you manage to get out before going for another large gulp of your drink.
“Well, well, well, Y/N what would you be doing differently?” Emily snaps her head around to look at you, eager for the juicy details.
“None of you are curious what the doctor is packing?” You reply, almost innocently, unaware of the many plots culminating in the minds of your friends at that very second.
“Not at all. “Nope.” “That’s pretty gross, actually.” They all seem to reply at once, but Penelope pushes another drink into your hand as soon as you’re done and gets ready to launch a counter-attack.
“Are you curious about it?” She leaves it at that, and if you weren’t so drunk, you’d have seen them all lean into you, desperate for your answer and ready to hang off of your every word. "Do you think about you and him… You know?"
“Every night,” you sigh dreamily. And you’re telling the truth. In the recent months, you’d found yourself waking up a little hot and bothered after some rather steamy midnight encounters with the Good Doctor. You’d become close to him over the few months you’d worked with him as a member of the team, but it wasn’t like you’d had a crush on him or anything. It was more like your body had an unconscious appreciation of his body. Or at least for certain parts of his body.
“His fingers are really nice, you know. And they’re big, too. Just makes a girl curious, s’all.” You down the proffered drink, hiding your remaining shame behind the glass.
“No, no, no babycakes, we’re gonna need more details than that if you’re gonna claim that you want to fuck Reid more than Morgan.” Penelope insisted, more forceful now than before.
“And what exactly does every night mean, Y/N? Something you should be telling us?” JJ wiggled her eyebrows at you and you lost it for a few seconds having a giggling fit.
“Okay, okay, it’s just… You’ve seen how he looks, right? And there was that one case three weeks back. He confronted that accomplice, and when he was about to bolt he slammed him against the wall and held him there like he’d barely broken a sweat. And you know how it is, we see Morgan kicking down doors on the daily, so I thought I wouldn’t be that interested in feats of physical strength, but my only thought in that moment was that I’d rather like him to slam…me…against that …wall.” You slowed down your speech at the end, looking up to see what looked to you like the grinning faces of three wolves staring down at their prey.
“And now I need another drink, anyone up for another round?” You squeaked out, changing the topic before any of the others could make their own comments.
–X–
Your second round of margarita’s was probably where things went irreversibly wrong for you. You’d returned to the table with two rounds of shots for all, having queued up four songs on the ancient jukebox you’d seen in the corner, hoping to entice the girls away from conversation, and it had worked.
After you’d bought the first two rounds, JJ had bought you another, and then Emily had splurged on another three, and then Garcia had rounded the hour out with one more shot, this time with sparklers attached.
So by the time you got back to your table and took a much needed swig of a drink that didn’t have to go down all at once, you were feeling well past drunk, to say the least.
But with the free-flowing alcohol came the lack of inhibition, so you really didn’t care. True to their word, the girls had been doing their best to convince you to dance with some of the guys in the bar since you’d gotten up, but truthfully none of them had enticed you.
But now, the night was running out, and the alcohol had you a bit hot and bothered, so when you felt a nice, hard body press up gently against yours, you decided to take advantage of the situation. Without looking back, you wrapped your hand around the one of his that had grazed your hips and held in there, moving your hips back and forth and beginning to grind back into your mystery man.
He was a little bit still at first, but eventually began making some slow movements along with you, and you could see the others cheering for you from a distance, Emily especially whooping from her perch at the bar.
You felt the voice lean down to your ear after a minute or so, and you tilted your neck up to hear the tall man a little better.
“What are you doing, Y/N?” He whispered against your skin, still letting him guide you through the music. Had you been sober, you’d have realised the voice was more than familiar, especially since he’d said your name, but you were not, and so you did not.
“Well, if you’re lucky, tonight I’ll be doing you?” you giggled back, looking up at the man quickly. But with the hazy lights of the bar and the copious amount of alcohol you’ve ingested, you don’t catch a good enough glimpse of the man to realise he’s your coworker.
“I think you’ve had enough to drink,” he says, when you start to pull him towards the bar, his grip on your hips tightening, accidentally pressing you back into what you expect to be his semi-erect cock, straining against your clothing.
“Oh, what, wanna take me home right now? That’s okay with me, mister.” You giggle, grinding back into him more intentionally this time. You grip his hand and try to force it up to touch more of you, utterly carefree about throwing yourself on what you presume to be a stranger in the middle of a bar.
Before you manage to, however, he lets out a frustrated groan and turns you around by your hips, forcing you to look him in the eye for a little bit longer, and all of your senses finally start working once again.
“Yes, Y/N, we’re going now. Penelope called me 15 minutes ago and said you were ready for that ride home and I can see now that she was right,” Reid leant down so you could hear him enough, but your brain was short circuiting.
You’d been grinding on your coworker. The one that had been the cause of so much of your sexual frustration for the past god knows how long. Spencer was right in front of you, and he hadn’t loosened his grip on you that much. Spencer was right in front of you and his erection was poking into you.
Really, your following actions shouldn’t be held against you in the slightest given the situation.
“Are you going to take me home, Doctor? Lay me down in bed and get me nice and comfortable?” you giggled up at the man, now enjoying the way your insinuations were making him blush.
“Y/N, you’re not being fair. We need to get the others and go,” he shot back, irritation dripping from his tone.
“Oh I’m sorry, am I being a bad girl?”
“You’re certainly being very difficult- what are you doing?” He jolted as you moved your hands to his fair, beginning to play with the curls at the nape of his neck.
“It’s softer than I imagined it would be,” you giggled again, pressing yourself forward to press a kiss against his neck.
“Okay, we need to get you home,” he panicked, grabbing both of your hands, pressing them against your sides, spinning you around and walking you back towards the other girls.
“Hello Spencer~” the girls all giggled as you approached. You struggled against his grip a little, but he kept you firmly in place, man-handling you slightly, and you practically melted into his touch.
“Who let Y/N drink this much? Don’t answer that, you’ve all been drinking the same amount, right?” He left out a frustrated breath, and ran one hand through his hair. You attempted to move again, but he’d practically pinned you to the table. Your hips were pressed into the edge of it, his hips pressed against you, forcing you up against the table in a way that should have been uncomfortable. His other hand was resting near your discarded glass, caging you in almost entirely.
“Cars out front, lets go,” he said, his jaw twitching with anger now.
“No need, lover boy, taxis are coming to pick myself, Penelope and JJ up as we speak,” Emily slurred the words, but got the idea across well enough. “You’ll just be needing to take this little kitten home and you’re done for the night.”
They were all giggling now, as you let out a childlike yay, your excitement evident on your face.
“We’ll wait and see you all off together at least, so outside now. She needs some fresh air or something,” he was practically talking to a wall at that point, but after a few repetitions, the women acquiesced and moved outside.
“Ooh, that’s my taxi, gotta go,” Garcia practically runs from you the moment you step outside, and you wave at her whilst wrapped around one of Reid’s arms, stumbling with each step.
“Use protection my sweet babies,” she shouts as she slams the car door just as her car drives away, leaving a spluttering Spencer unable to respond that he’s not touching you tonight while you’re in this state.
The taxis for Emily and JJ arrive swiftly as well, and the two soon depart with similar messages and soon you find yourself alone with Spencer once again.
“So, your place or mine,” you smirk, looking up at him and batting your eyelashes in the sweetest way you can manage.
“You’re drunk, Y/N, you don’t know what you’re saying.”
“Drunk I may be, Doctor, but I absolutely know what I’m saying. I’m saying I want you to shove me against a wall and finger fuck me until I don’t know how to walk anymore.”
“Goddamnit, Y/N, someone’s gonna hear you.”
“Oh you want me to be quiet? If you take my panties off and push them into my mouth maybe you could shut me up for a few minutes.”
“Get in the car, now.” You stick your tongue out at him, but hop into the passenger seat. He slams the door in your face and takes a few deep breaths before moving around and getting in himself.
–X–
Despite having the window open the entire car journey, hoping that the fresh air will do you some good, you’re still on top form when Spencer pulls up to your apartment.
“I didn’t even give you my address,” you pouted, as you tried, unsuccessfully, to remove your seatbelt.
“I memorised your file, now let’s get you into bed,” he unclasps it for you, and you use the close proximity to drop a kiss on his cheek.
“Only if you get into bed with me, hot stuff,” you wink at him and make for the door. “You know, you’re going to remember everything I said in the morning, right?” You asked him.
“Unfortunately, yes,” he muttered under his breath as he caught you just as you were about to teeter into the hedge on the shared green space. You wrapped your arms around his neck for the second time that night and stopped him in his tracks. Looking deep into his eyes, you took one of your hands and traced it gently over the side of his face and down his neck, your eyes following your fingers. He gulped involuntarily when you hit his adams apple, and you snapped your eyes back to him.
“Chances are that I’m probably not going to remember any of this, right?” You smiled up at him.
“Alcohol induced memory blackouts tend to occur in binge-drinkers whose alcohol levels have hit at least 0.16%, and further studies show that 50% of adults will experience some kind of alcohol-related memory loss in their lives, so yes, I’d say you’re probably not going to remember any of this.” He shot back, almost entirely still in anticipation of your next move.
“Good, then I might as well enjoy the moment while it lasts right.” As soon as the words were out of your mouth, your lips crashed into his, and after a beat, his reciprocated, moving over yours just as hungrily. He moved now, walking you back to your door, lips still locked in a ferocious battle for dominance, until he pinched your arm slightly. You gasped a little, ready to pull back and complain about the pain, but suddenly his tongue was in your mouth and you were back at it all over again. He tapped your legs, signalling that he wanted you to jump into his arms, and you did, wrapping your legs around his centre tightly as he finished making his way to your apartment door.
Pulling away for the briefest of moments, he pulled your keys from your back pocket, and made quick work of your door.
“Bedroom, now Spencer, please I need you,” you whimpered in his arms, pressing kisses against his jaw and neck. Unfortunately, he had other ideas.
“No. We are going to the bathroom, where you’re going to wash your makeup off, brush your teeth and change your clothes, and then you are going to get in bed and sleep.” He unceremoniously dropped you at the door of your bathroom, and you slid to the ground.
Pouting up at him, you felt the tears well in your eyes.
“No! I don’t want to go to bed yet,” you sounded like a petulant child and Spencer cursed a little under his breath when he looked down at you.
“Y/N listen to me very clearly, you’re not thinking straight. You’re way past the legal limit, you can’t consent to any of this and I’m not going to sleep with you and then have you forget it in twelve hours.” His tone was harsh, but you listened to him.
Picking yourself up off the floor, you followed his instructions and got yourself ready for bed.
“Okay, I’m all done now, Doctor,” you grumbled once you were done. You half expected him to have left you there, choosing to retreat whilst you cleaned yourself up, knowing that he’d already done what was asked of him by getting you home. But he was still there perched on your bed, and you made one last attempt to get what you wanted.
As he made his way to stand up, you used the last of your strength to push him back down again and climbed into his lap. This time though, you made no attempt to take anything further, just wrapping your arms and legs around him and burrowing into his shoulder. You had to admit, you were getting particularly sleepy now.
You let out a small yawn and burrowed further into his neck just as he opened his mouth.
“Y/N, please, what are you doing?” He sounded tired now, but didn’t attempt to push you off again.
“You said I was probably not going to remember this in the morning. That’s not going to fly with me. So you’re gonna sleep here with me and tell me everything I forgot in the morning.” You informed him.
He scoffed at you, but you could hear the smile in his voice when he replied.
“So you want me to just sleep here next to you? No pushing you against a wall? No panties in your mouth?”
“Nope. Like you said, ‘s getting pretty late and it’s been a long week, so it's probably for the best if we…” You tried to finish but your tongue was so heavy in your mouth that you just couldn’t use it anymore. You felt the warm rumble of his answering laugh of disbelief as he manoeuvred the two of you under the covers, taking the time to kick off his shoes and remove his coat and shirt.
“Sleep well, Y/N, because when you wake up I’m going to make you feel all of the torment you’ve put me through tonight tenfold.”
And he held you there against his chest as both of you fell deeper and deeper into your slumber.

Summary: you got kidnapped
Implied Spencer Reid x BAU!gn!reader | 1.4k | no y/n |
Warning: kidnapping, drugging, blood, ect. Cannon typical violence
A/N: I wrote this at like, 2am on a Monday I think. Its.... unique. R and spence are not really considered as dating, more just mutual feelings that are not discussed at this time ig?
✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°✩✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°✩✮ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆
The cold tiles have gone warm from your body heat hours ago. Wrists are sore and bloody from the rope on them, ankles and knees in similar condition.
The window in the old, nearly abandoned-looking kitchen once showed the sun, but now the moon is shining through it. That's the only thing telling you it's no longer day.
Earlier this week, you and the rest of the BAU was called onto a case in Cincinnati, Ohio. Some guy decided he wanted to get people drunk, kidnap them, and torture them before disposing the bodies.
Luckily, you had a lead on a Tyler Mixins, and went to check this out. Unluckily, he got mad, knocked out Rossi, who was with you, and kidnapped you.
So now you sit in an old kitchen, next to a missing girl who has been unconscious since you got here, in a house in the middle of nowhere. It's hard to tell how long it's been because he keeps getting you high. From what you can tell, it's probably high doses of benzodiazepines. Keeping your muscles and mind pliant.
The few times you have been conscious enough to fight back, he's thrown you back into the wall so hard that you definitely have a horrible concussion. From what you can tell, there's also blood coming from somewhere on your head, having moved down to the side of your face and dried there.
Faintly, you hear heavy footsteps coming towards the kitchen. Tyler walks in, hands shaky as he forcefully ties a rope around your head and between your teeth, keeping you from talking, before he grabs your wrists and drags you through the house. Despite wanting to struggle, the drugs in your system keep you from doing so.
He takes you to a separate room, one that seems like it was once a bedroom with a bathroom connected to it. He sets you onto a old vanity chair, tying your middle to the back of the chair.
Your eyes start to droop from lack of energy, brain slightly fuzzy. Out of the corner of your eyes, you see him grab an ax that rests against the wall. Your heart feels like it's going to fly right out of your chest.
Tyler walks closer, standing in front of you, ax in hand. Just as he prepares to swing it, the front door to the house is busted down, and rapidly moving footsteps enter. Vaguely, you can hear shots of commands as Tyler quickly grabs a syringe off a metal medical table, making quick work of uncaring the needle and rushing to inject it into your neck.
With the last of your energy, you try to scream through the gag, clearly being loud enough, as footsteps rapidly approach the room. Prentiss appears in the doorway, a gun pointed at the man in front of you.
"You don't want to do this, Tyler." Emily keeps her voice calm, taking cautious steps into the room.
He quickly goes behind you, syringe horrifyingly close to our neck, yet he remains silent. His silence doesn't seem to surprise Emily; some form of information they got while you were here probably told her why he's so silent. Too bad you didn't get to sit in an only slightly uncomfortable precinct chair while learning more information about this guy.
"Put down the syringe." Emily stops moving closer, with the chance of him snapping and injecting whatever is in the syringe into your body. "We can talk this out; you don't want to hurt them. You'll be in even more trouble for killing an FBI agent."
For the first time since you've been here, Tyler speaks, his voice rough and clearly not very used, "I'll get a lot of respect in prison for killing a fed."
There are footsteps behind you now, who you can only assume is someone else from your team. They probably snuck through a window in the bathroom. Tyler seems to pick up on this as well, as you register his grip on the syringe tightening.
From what you can tell, he does stab that syringe into your neck; there's distant yelling and footsteps. Tyler falls to the ground before all the liquid is administered into your veins, and someone else quickly rips it out. The same hands make quick work to untie all the ropes from your body; everything seems barely there. Like everything you are experiencing is memories from a dream, going in and out of consciousness.
The only thing you can know for sure is the soft, repetitive beeping slowly surrounding you. The last thing you can remember is being untied from the chair after the unsub injected you with something. You probably knocked out. And you know, you're probably in a hospital right now. But it feels like you are underwater. Like you're at peace for now. It's quite the comfortable place you've made in your mind. Feeling weightless and soft. Mind blurry and warm.
But soon you register more than just the beeping in the room. There is a soft-spoken voice. A familiar one. And suddenly, the place in your mind isn't as comfortable. The softness becomes too soft, nearly prickly. Feeling unease as you leave this place in your mind. Slowly, you blink open your eyes.
You were correct. The familiar look and smell of the hospital fills your senses. The lights seem to have been mostly turned off; lights from the hallways shine through the door, unlike the night sky shining through the window. There are flowers on a table next to you, but the most notable thing is the voice.
Next to you, is Spencer. Sat slightly awkward as he reads aloud, though, not very loudly, a book.
"Spence...?" Your voice is rough and sore, turning your head to look at him
He stops reading from his book, looking up, slightly startled. He stands up, setting his book down and walking over to you. "Hey... how are you feeling? Does your head hurt? Any other forms of pain?"
"I don't think so, my memory is really fuzzy though, and I feel drowsy."
"That's to be expected. The doctor said you had an extreme concussion as well as a wound to the left side of your head. There weren't any fractions or broken bones, but the unsub did inject you with high doses of benzodiazepine." Spencer talks quickly, giving you a once-over as he recites what your doctor said. "How much do you remember?"
You recount your memories for a moment, trying to put them into words. "I remember being tied up in a kitchen, as well as the unsub giving me pills; there was a girl here too-" The quick realization of another person being in danger courses through you: "Oh my god, was she okay? Did you guys get her?"
"We did get her, and she is being treated a few rooms over. I'll debrief you on her condition after you finish telling me what you remember." Spencer's voice remains as calm as he can keep it.
"Okay, I don't remember how much time passed, but he took me to a room, I think it was a bedroom, and tied me to a chair in there. Around that time I think Emily and someone else came I to the room, but everything else is pretty blurry."
Spencer nods as you talk, taking in the information. "The other person was Derek; the window to the connected bathroom was opened, so he climbed through that while scouting the outside perimeter. You did get injected with more benzodiazepine, which seemed to knock you out. Prentiss and Morgan got you into an ambulance, and I drove with you to the hospital. You have only been out for a day, which is expected with your injuries."
A small smile overtakes your features. "You joined me in the ambulance?"
Spencer quickly trying to change the subject as you save his heart. "You have a change of clothes, would you like to change into them?"
"Oh God, yes." You laugh as you sit up, excited to change out of the hospital gown and to spend more time with Spencer, now awake. Even though, this experience will probably leave a lasting scar.

Pandora’s Box (Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
(Not my gif. Credits to the creator!)
------------------
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader
Summary: Spencer gets called for work on his day off while having breakfast with his wife. He doesn’t know this day will end worse than he thought.
Word Count: 3.2k
Warnings: Mention to prison. Mention of kidnapping. Cat Adams. If I forgot something, let me know.
A/N: Written for this request. Two parts: this is the angsty one (sorry). How should Spencer make it up to Reader?
Part II
------------------
Reader's POV
I always knew Spencer's job had its quirks. Granted, being an FBI agent is a dangerous job, and with my husband, this statement tends to be yet worse. Spencer has been kidnapped, drugged, shot in the knee, shot in the neck, framed for murder, incarcerated, and so on.
But after everything we've been through, one would expect things to settle down over time. Is it too much to ask?
I knew what was coming when the damn cell phone chimed that morning. It was Spencer's day off, and we had decided to go for breakfast at our favorite coffee shop since I had the day off too. It was rare we could match in our free time, and since we had both been very busy with our jobs, we wanted to enjoy that day.
Spencer gave me an apologetic look before answering the call.
"Reid," he spoke dryly. He wasn't happy about the interruption either.
While Pelenope surely told Spencer he should go to Quantico as soon as possible, I just stared at him—a glint of anticipated disappointment in my eyes.
"I'm so sorry," Spencer said, confirming my suspicions.
"Don't be. I know how it works." My answer was not reproachful, nor did I want to make him feel bad; instead, it was to clarify that I comprehended and accepted how our life's dynamic goes. "Don't worry, baby. I'm going to my dad's today and staying there. He's been asking me when I would have a sleepover with him," I commented. I knew Spencer would feel less guilty if I didn't spend too much time alone.
"Okay. That's good. And I promise I'll make it up to you," Spencer stated, getting up from his chair before planting an affectionate kiss on my forehead.
Don't make promises you can't keep, I thought.
Here is the thing. Spencer has good intentions, but time isn't on our side lately, so I only hoped we could have a chance to get at least a day to spend together with no interruptions upon his return.
After leaving the coffee shop, I stopped by the apartment to grab some clothes and headed to my dad's.
My dad greeted me in a tight embrace at the front door.
"I thought you would spend your day off with Spencer?" He asked once we parted from our hug.
I knew he was picturing a bad scenario. I'm not keen on sharing my marriage issues with my father, but he could tell there was something.
"Uh. Well. Spencer got called from work," I explained. My dad hummed, not saying anything. I regretted how I worded it because I hate portraying Spencer as the bad guy.
"What?" I asked.
"Everything is okay? I mean, between you and Spencer?" My dad questioned, concerned.
"Yeah. We are fine. Don't worry about us. Come on inside; you promised me movies and hot cocoa," I smiled at him, lacing my arm with his and heading inside the house.
-
Spencer's POV
Cat Adams. That name only means disaster. I should have known that. This time I hoped she only had ruined my day off with my wife- something a little more bearable than being framed for murder and incarcerated.
Arriving at Quantico, Prentiss and Rossi explained to me what had happened. Cat's associate kidnaped a family and demanded the release of Cat Adams.
Really she thought that could be possible?
Emily told me they were bringing her in a few hours and that I should talk to her.
I didn’t know if I was ready to do that, but a family was in danger. I had to.
She looked so pleased to see me that I felt nauseous, and my mind flew to Milburn. She knew what she was doing, but I needed to control myself and have the upper hand somehow.
My entire demeanor changed when she voiced her demand: a date with me.
The mention of a 'date' with Cat Adams sounded twisted and insufferable. But not going could have been a mistake. Cat knew I wouldn't refuse, not after she said my wife's safety was in danger too.
Frantically I left the room to dial (Y/N)’s number, and it went straight to voicemail. She never turns off her phone. I called her dad, and he said she left the house for a job emergency without explaining too much.
I looked at Emily, who had already told Garcia to track my wife's location. Minutes later, Penelope told us she wasn't at her workplace and was nowhere to find. Her phone's signal went dead after she left her dad's house.
Shit. Shit. Shit. I didn’t know how, but Cat had her.
Rushing inside the room where Cat was, I slammed the table, demanding my wife's location. Cat, of course, laughed in my face.
"I guess now no one could interrupt our date," she dared with a smug grin.
Against all my judgment, I agreed to a plan I wasn't even sure about.
-
Reader's POV
After Milburn, we talked with Spencer about the real danger we can be exposed to as a couple realizing the kind of job he had. Not that we didn't discuss it before, but the threat became real after that. We had a plan: if something happened, he would contact me directly - or through someone from the team - and if the communication could be compromised, I should get rid of my phone and not tell anybody my location.
When my phone rang that afternoon, we were watching a movie with my dad on the couch. I stood and answered in the hall. A sternly Spencer spoke: "This is an emergency. Met me at my old apartment. There is a key under the mat. Get rid of the phone and not tell anyone. Don't open the door to anyone, and wait for me there."
When I was about to ask what had happened, the call ended. I doubted for a moment. Spencer sounded so out of himself, but after what he had been through, I knew his job could stress him like that. So I just did what I was told.
I lied to my dad, telling him I had a job emergency, and left.
In my mind, I ran through all the possibilities, and none helped me stay calm. Everything could go wrong, like when Spencer went to Mexico without telling me.
Arriving at the apartment, I noticed the key was under the mat, as Spencer told me.
We always talked about what to do with his old place. Since we married, we got a new home, and Spencer rented his apartment. It happened that the last couple who rented it left a month ago, and we were still looking for a new tenant.
The place was almost empty. But still, some of Spencer's old books remained on the shelves. I took one to pass the time until Spencer could arrive. I didn't have my phone, so the only thing I could do was wait.
-
Spencer's POV
The last thing I thought I would do was ice skating with the woman who framed me for murder and kidnapped my mom and now my wife. Cat enjoyed every minute of my torture, and I just wanted to end it. My mind ran fast to catch any lead that could help me, but Cat knew me better. I don’t like to say it, but she, indeed, knew me better.
"So, I wasn't shocked when I discovered you married to that girl. I was shocked, though, knowing how neglected you have had her," she said casually, doing spins on the ice.
"You don't know what you are saying," I scoffed, trying to sound calm, but I hated how she dared to talk about (Y/N) and me.
"Don't I? So you will tell me you haven't canceled dates or left her for cases very often? That isn't good, Spencie, nothing good," Cat mocked.
I didn't want to give in that much, but how the hell this woman always managed to get under my skin? It's not that I wasn't aware of my messy schedule, but we always agreed with (Y/N) that it was my job, and she understood. Lately, though, things have been getting worse in that matter, and on that, Cat had a point.
When we married, I promised (Y/N) to slow down my job rhythm. After Milburn, I thought I had had enough, and it was time to focus on my life. It worked initially, but as the honeymoon phase ended, I did not slow down and even started overworking myself.
Everything I have been doing in the past months seemed like a stupid decision that had (Y/N) in danger because of my job now. If something terrible happened to her, I would never forgive myself.
“I know you’re waiting for me to slip a clue. But you will not get anything if you don’t show me your old apartment,” Cat demanded.
Now I was utterly confused. Why Cat wanted that?
The thing with Cat is always this way. She has a secret agenda you can’t decipher until it’s too late. I was afraid of that, but not giving up on her demands would put people in danger. I hadn’t an option.
“Why did you marry, anyway? You know you can be with anyone,” Cat spoke as we were being driven in the van. I snapped my head up. Cat shrugged. “What? I am right. Your job is everything to you, Spencie. Don’t lie to yourself; you can’t have a normal life. Not when we know we are so alike.”
“You don’t know anything. I love my wife,” I stated. Cat scoffed.
“I know enough. Tell me, does your wife know where you are now? Does she knows you are with me?” She asked, looking at me intensely. I averted my gaze. Cat was right, but her reasoning was wrong. I don’t like to tell (Y/N) much about my job because it’s not fair to put that burden on her. Not after we have been through. It’s not a matter of trust.
We got to the building and got out of the van. Cat took my arm as armed FBI agents escorted us—a show worth seeing, and I just wanted to forget.
Arriving at the apartment door, I took out my keys to open the lock, but before doing so, Cat stopped me.
“Did you mean it?”
“What?”
“That you love your wife?”
“Of course I do!” I replied, exasperated.
“Show me,” she demanded. But I didn’t understand what she was asking. My confusion was evident. “Show me how you love her. Kiss me the way you would kiss her,” Cat requested. My eyes widened.
“What? No! I will not do that.”
“You will. If you want to see your wife and that family alive again, you will,” she retorted.
I was about to lose my patience. In the last three hours, Cat had just made me go in circles. But I knew what she could do, and I was terrified that her threats would come true.
I took a deep breath before leaning to kiss her. I knew it was wrong, but I just wanted to end this night and find my wife and the missing family. Before my lips reached hers, Cat stopped me.
“I told you, Spencie. Do it like I’m her. Make it good. I will know if you are pretending,” she warned.
Fuck. What a twisted mind.
I gathered my composure, and I tried to imagine that it was (Y/N) in front of me and not Cat. I cupped her cheeks, the way I like to do with (Y/N), and leaned again. This time with no hesitation. It had to look real.
-
Reader's POV
I heard a commotion outside; I couldn't determine who was talking in the hallway. I froze in the spot, my eyes fixed on the entrance door. Then I noticed the handle turning and the door opening wide.
What I saw made my brain stop working.
Spencer was on the threshold kissing a woman.
Did I say kissing? Scratch that. He was devouring her mouth. And they were enjoying it, I could tell. She was the one who ended the kiss, and I swore I saw Spencer follow her lips for more. The woman turned to see me. Then Spencer noticed I was inside, witnessing how he- my husband - kissed a woman that wasn't me. His eyes widened, leaving his grasp on the woman's cheeks to walk to me.
“(Y/N)? What- what are you doing here? I thought you- that she has-" he stuttered.
I can't tell if it was for nerves, shock, or the fact he had been caught. It didn't matter, though. I was not in a condition to say anything. I just stood there, looking like a kicked puppy. I hated it.
“Fuck!” He cursed as if he had realized what was going on. The problem was I didn’t know anything, and my mind ran with the worst scenery possible.
"Ups," the girl teased. That's when I truly focused on her. I knew this woman. I'm sure I did. Then it hit me. Cat Adams? Seriously?
"What is this?" I barely articulated, shifting my gaze between Spencer and Cat.
"I - I thought she had kidnapped you! She did it with a family. I was so worried," Spencer explained, reaching to grab my hands, which I snatched away. I didn't feel like being touched by him, not after what I saw.
"I can tell you were worried," I spat. Cat started laughing.
"She has quite a sense of humor. I like her," Cat commented, looking between Spencer and me.
Oh, she was enjoying this. And my rational self told me it was better to shut up until I could understand what all about was, but my emotional side got to win this time.
"And you wanted me here for this? Your urgent case was about her? Jeez, Spencer, I thought you were done with this psycho," I pointed, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Oh, darling. You should know by now that Spencer is obsessed with me. How do you explain what you saw? He was kissing the same woman who got him in jail for three months. Maybe it's a kind of Stockholm, who knows," Cat taunted, shrugging like she was clueless. My eyes shot daggers at her. It was infuriating how her words echoed in my brain.
"(Y/N), don't listen to her. She is playing games right now. She wants you mad," Spencer tried to explain. And maybe he was right. But the smug look on her only fueled my anger. I didn't want to snap, though.
"Yeah, you can tell yourself that if it makes you happy," I deadpanned. Cat chuckled.
“Uh-oh. That sounds like jealousy to me.”
"Stop it! Cat, where is the family?" Spencer grabbed her arm suddenly. Her smug smile never faded.
"Easy, Spencie. What are you going to do? Throw me against a wall again?"
What? When did that happen?
Spencer's face went pale as his eyes met mine.
"Ouch. Someone didn't know that," Cat teased. I didn't know what face I had, but Spencer left the grip of Cat's arm and turned to me. "You should tell her, Spencie. She won't believe me if I do."
"You did what?" I asked in disbelief.
When Spencer was about to say something, Luke rushed inside.
"We got them!"
Them? What the fuck was happening?
"Now that's when we were having fun! Not fair!"
Cat pouted with dissatisfaction.
Spencer's eyes never left mine, pleading for me not to jump and hit him - or her.
"Take her out," he sternly told Luke, who rushed to do so.
"It was nice to meet you, (Y/N). Hope Spencer can tell you more of our story,” she taunted before crossing the threshold. Luke took the precaution of closing the door behind them, leaving with Cat and the other FBI field agents.
And just like that, we were alone with Spencer. Cat wasn't in the apartment anymore, but her words and presence remained heavy in the air.
Spencer’s hands were shaking, and they tried to reach mine again. I didn’t let him, though, as I stepped back.
It was all so confusing. And even if there were a logical explanation for this, the nerves and the anger were too much to try to understand.
“(Y/N), baby. I can explain. It was a trap. Cat orchestrated the whole thing, and I didn’t notice her real intentions until now. You have to believe me,” Spencer sputtered, faster than I had seen him speak in a long time. I shook my head.
“You called me. You told me we were in danger and asked me to come here, Spencer,” I tried to reason with him. He did this; why?
Spencer’s eyes widened.
“No, no, no. No! I did not. I don’t know how it happened, but I didn’t call you. It wasn’t me. I thought you were kidnapped! Cat told me if I didn’t do what she wanted, she would hurt you!”
I scoffed.
“How convenient that sounds, uh?”
Spencer sighed. He didn’t know what to say, and honestly, I didn’t have the energy to help him.
“(Y/N), please. You can ask the team. Penelope tried to track your location. I called your dad! It’s all a misunderstanding.”
I felt bad for Spencer. He looked exhausted, and he was likely telling the truth. But that wasn't enough to erase the image of my husband kissing Cat Adams. That qualifies as cheating, right?
I wanted to slap him across the face. Fucking Spencer Reid!
“A misunderstanding? Not a biggie, right?”
I hated feeling like this, but I couldn't help it. The more Spencer tried to explain, the more my blood boiled. Was I being unfair to him? Maybe. But after months of his work interfering in our lives, I was already fed up. This was the last straw.
"I didn't mean it like it wasn't important. Can we please talk about this more calmly at home?"
No, we can not, I wanted to say.
"Before your phone rings again and you must leave on another case?"
Shit, that just came out of my mouth.
“(Y/N)…” Spencer started to speak, but I cut him off. It wasn’t a conversation I wanted to have right now.
“You know what? I think it’s better we take a break for this night. I’m going to my dad’s. He must have been worried after I left,” I said, trying to contain my shaky voice. I grabbed my purse and walked to the door.
Spencer stared after me, pleading with his eyes for me not to leave. I decided to ignore it. I needed to think and cool my head. I believe this is the wake-up call I feared might happen. Maybe Cat Adams had opened another Pandora's box tonight.

Growing and Healing
Tumblr media
Word Count: 900
Content Warnings: Prison mention, pregnancy discussion, implied smexy, angst.
Summary: You and Spencer vow to not have kids until you’re out of the FBI, but after a case of looking after a kid with his wife, things change.
Spencer had just spent the last case with you, holding watch at the victim’s family's house for hours on end. He watched his wife play tea-party, dress up, and Just Dance with the family’s seven year old girl while her mother was stuck in the station and honestly, he just fell deeper for you.
You settled into bed your first night back home, pulling the warm covers up to your chin and snuggling into Spencer’s chest. Everything should be perfect except he for some reason laid awake, staring at the ceiling as he ran his fingers through your hair. You picked up on Spencer’s  irritation as he didn’t reach for a book to distract himself, just glued his eyes to the ceiling.
“What’s wrong, baby?” You asked, propping yourself up on Spencer’s chest so that you could look at him.
“Nothing,” Spencer hesitated. “I’m going to bed.” He suggested, gesturing his hand around to you and him resting in bed together, lights off.
Your heart stung a little at his random passive-aggressiveness. “Okay.” You mumbled, sinking back down into his chest. The two of you sat in the haunting quiet until finally he groaned as he pushed his hair back.
“Fuck.” He mumbled. You listened as his heart sped up beneath you, thumping against yours. “I’m- I’m just confused.”
You sat up beside him at this, flicking on a dim lamp sitting on your bedside table. “What’s confusing you, Spence? We can talk it through.” You offered, biting at your nails slightly. Spencer never got like this and whenever he did, it was usually mom-related.
“I just- just- I know when we got married we agreed on something-” Spencer started.
You finished his sentence like verbatim from your memory, “No kids unless we stop working for the FBI.”
“Yeah,” Spencer looked down as he took your hand in his, squeezing it nervously. “Well I just thought I’d be able to do that, but watching you play with that girl and bake with her and doing all of it with you it’s just- well it’s just a lot harder than I thought.” Your husband deflated further, frowning as he twisted your wedding ring around your finger.
“I know.” You whispered softly, stopping his finger over your ring then looking up at Spencer. “I know. But it’s selfish, isn’t it? I mean- for us to bring someone into the world we live in. And after prison, oh my god, Spencer-” You never said Spencer, only Spence or baby or some pet name. But you were scared half to death at how badly you wanted this and of going against your better instinct.
“Y/n,” Spencer swiped his thumb over a tear that had fallen down your cheek, unknown to you. “I won’t put myself on the front lines anymore, I’ll let someone else be the bigger person, I’ll never touch dilaudid again and-”
“I’m not worried about you being in the front lines, doing our job how we’re supposed to. I’m worried about another accident, one of us not coming home one day.” You cried, thinking about how not fun growing up without your dad was.
Spencer didn’t say a thing at that, he just let you hit home, wrapping you in his arms and cradling you in his lap. He sat with you until you stopped crying and your breathing regulated. “I’ll take the part-time job.” He finally decided, shocking you.
“What are you talking about?” You sat up, brows furrowed.
“They offered me a part-time job after prison. Half-time professing in Virginia, half-time working cases.” Spencer explained, running his fingers through your soft hair before leaning in close to you. “I want a family with you a lot more than I want this job. And I don’t want either of us breaking a vow just so we can get our cake and eat it too.”
You nodded, holding your face in your hands before gathering yourself. “I want to leave the BAU.” You ripped the band-aid off and let the conversation flow. You told Spencer you were unhappy with all the killing and death. You told him how you felt about everything, leaving him completely shocked that he didn’t see through you.
“I didn’t know that at all.” He whispered, looking down. You grasped his hand again.
“Because I didn’t want you to yet. And you know what? Having a kid gives me a perfect excuse to grab a job at a bookstore, take it easy for a minute, get a therapist maybe. Make room for a baby Reid.” You smiled softly, Spencer breaking out in a smile too at the thought of a baby Reid, of his own child with you. You made that life sound so good.
“Are you sure?” He looked up at you finally, quivering with something between nerves and excitement. Spencer leaned in to hold your face, waiting for an answer.
“More than anything.” You whispered, placing a kiss on his nose before Spencer pulled you onto his lap, you giggling. “Ah!”
“Let’s get a head start then, shall we?” Spencer asked, cupping your blushing cheeks. He still flattered you daily, even after all this time.
“I think we should.” You whispered into his lips, connecting softly and allowing him to take over, kissing you all over as you smiled widely. You wanted to start the next chapter of your lives as soon as possible.

Aaron Hotchner Masterlist | Send Requests
More domestic thoughts about being warm and cozy
"Affection is responsible for nine-tenths of whatever solid and durable happiness there is in our lives" -C.S. Lewis
Tumblr media
Jackets
He always reminds you to take a coat with you on the way out the door, and you always insist that you'll be fine without one. He'll tell you it's his biggest pet peeve, you refusing to wear a coat and then shivering in the cold. He never fails to drape his jacket over your shoulders at the first sign of goosebumps.
Hotch is a traditional kind of guy and he's the type of guy who suggests you take a stroll after a fancy dinner. He's just not ready for the night to come to an end. You're all dolled up, and a little tipsy from the wine you had at dinner. You agree easily, holding his hand and tucking yourself close to his side. It's colder than when you left the house, he'll grant you that. “Cold?” He asks as concerned as he is amused. And you just have to bat your lashes at him and he's slipping off his jacket to wrap it around your shoulders. It smells like his cologne and is warm from his body heat. It's an easy way for him to say ‘I love you’.
Sweaters
Hotch absolutely has his old university and FBI academy crewneck sweatshirts. Softened and faded by time; worn and washed to the point of having frayed cuffs and collars. Aaron strikes me as the if it's not broke, don't throw it out kind of guy. He likes those sweaters. They're warm and comfortable. He knows they fit, and are easy to wash; he sees no reason to replace them. More than that Aaron has a definite nostalgic streak. As much as he acts like he's detached and indifferent to anything remotely sentimental, at home he almost overcompensates, holding on to every happy moment and memory he can. Case in point, his high school yearbooks, and the pirate hat. (You cannot convince me that he doesn't keep some kind of memory box with Jack's paintings; tickets from plays; his acceptance letter from college; and birthday and anniversary cards that you've taken such care to write such heartfelt messages in). He has fond memories of his law school and academy days; he wants to keep them close. At first, you think he might be upset that you're wearing them around the house but he would actually be thrilled. It's a collision of some of his favourite things and it's a specific domestic sight to come home to. He's a caretaker by nature and it thrills him that he can manage to keep you warm and cozy every when he has to be away. You can borrow his sweaters anytime.
Body heat
The man radiates heat. Just standing next to him is enough to feel warmer. He has a knack for knowing exactly how many layers he needs to put on to stay warm, while you struggle to decide whether or not you should also put on a scarf. He does everything with such a specific level of confidence, even the way he prepares for the day is borderline awe-inspiring.
He gets so few days off that he is unwilling to let the late autumn cold interrupt his time with Jack. When the three of you head to the park, Jack insists on shedding layers, his hat and mitten coming off first, he’s warm enough running around (Aaron doesn’t let the boy take his coat off completely but they compromise and he’s allowed to keep playing with his jacket unzipped). Despite checking the forecast several times, and bundling up, the cold still gets to you. And Aaron looks so cozy in his sweater and his coat. He’s the picture of a cozy winter boyfriend with his leather gloves, and scarf. Like his son his coat hangs unzipped on his frame, and it's the perfect opportunity for you to snuggle in, arms wrapping around his torso under the warm layer of his jacket, your cold nose pressed against his chest. “Cold?” he asks with a hint of a smile. You can only tilt your head up at him to pout back. He slips his gloves off to cup your face, his hands toasty warm against your ice-cold skin. Your face warms and your heart melts when he lays a kiss on your forehead. “Hey Jack,” Aaron calls, “What would you say to getting some hot chocolate?” Jack comes running.

Dean W. x reader she fell first but he fell harder? where she kicks his ass in a game of pool, and she doesnt give her number, for one of the first times he gives her HIS #. sam makes a comment but dean threatens him or something.
one game- dean winchester
summary: when one of your regulars dies mysteriously, two boys come in and help solve his case, but not without a beer at your bar every evening. when the case is finally solved, one of the boys challenges you to a game of pool in exchange for a drink.

Tumblr media
owning a bar in a small town was pretty uneventful. you enjoyed your job, enjoyed how you were a part of your community. most evenings you’d watch the same regulars come and go, some who came from work, some who were just out with friends. you’d grown up there and had taken over your fathers place when he passed, meaning you were very well acquainted with everyone. besides a couple passer byers that brought something different into town, every day was very similar. you enjoyed the routine, thinking your life would be that way forever.
until one of your very loyal regulars, gary, mysteriously dies. the county police refused to disclose his cause of death. you thought it was ridiculous, i mean, the guy had known you since you were five. he was your family and you his. you were angered by it and figured it must’ve been something brutal if they didn’t want to share it with you.
a couple days later, your suspicion was confirmed when two fbi agents came into town. one was tall, brunette and more reserved. the other was slightly shorter with green eyes and a huge ego. the two boys came in every night for four nights straight, and between their questions, the green eyed man, dean, would throw in a little flirty comment. the taller boy, sam, would turn his head away or roll his eyes every time, a very similar reaction to yours. you got hit on here and there, but usually it was by way older men. you had to admit, it being someone around your age was a nice change. you thought he was cute, but didn’t bother with anything, knowing they’d be out of town soon.
two other people had died in the period of time that sam and dean were there, but you could tell they were getting close. the sheriff had come in a night ago and had talked to you about how the two boys were helping get justice for the victims. he said he wouldn’t have been able to do it on his own, not a chance.
on the fourth night, the sheriff called. he let you know that the case had been solved and that everything had been handled. again, he kept all details confidential, but thought you would benefit from knowing that the townspeople were safe again. later that night, sam and dean walked in. dean had a fairly fresh gash on his cheekbone, but that didn’t take away from the air of accomplishment around them.
“the usual?” you said as they took their seats.
sam nodded and you poured two cold beers for them. you set them down in front with some peanuts.
“thanks sweetheart,” dean said, prompting a smile from you as you fought back a slight blush
“drinks are on the house for you guys tonight,” you said.
“what for?” sam said.
“sheriff told me what you did for him, for gary,” you replied, “thank you.”
“just doing our job,” sam replied with a smile.
you left them on their own for a little while until sam got up to use the washroom. dean called you over, an empty beer glass in front of him.
“refill?” you asked as you walked over.
“no. actually, i was wondering if i could interest you in a round of pool,” the boy said.
“i’m on the clock, dean,” you said as you leaned over the counter.
“come on, sweetheart,” he cooed, “i’ve seen you busting your ass back there four nights in a row.”
“that’s kind of what comes with owning a bar,” you said.
“you know what else comes with owning a bar?” he said with a smirk as you cocked your eyebrow up.
“doing what you want in it,” he finished, causing you to laugh out loud.
“and if i do that who’s gonna keep everyone’s drinks full?” you asked playfully.
“listen, if you’re not up to the challenge, just say so,” dean said jokingly.
you thought for a second before coming to a decision.
“fine,” you said, throwing your dish rag onto the counter.
“tommy, man the bar for ten minutes and i’ll give you a free beer,” you said to one of your regulars as you walked out from behind.
you met dean at one of the three pool tables.
“ten minutes huh?” dean said.
“that’s all the time i need to kick your ass,” you said as you grabbed the pool cues.
“don’t know about that one sweetheart,” dean laughed as he set up the pool balls.
you handed him a pool stick once everything was set up, but before it began, dean said something.
“if i win, you let me buy you a drink.”
you turned your head and bit your lip to hold back a smile.
“okay, and if i win, what do i get?” you asked.
“the best night of your life,” dean winked with a smile.
your cheeks were on fire and you turned away again with a laugh.
“how about you just pay for all your drinks instead?” you said.
“alright, deal,” he replied, reaching his hand out for you to shake.
you took it and shook it firmly before starting the match. it started off tight, but within five minutes you had three balls left, not including the eight ball. dean had five. you leaned over the pool table, looking up at dean with a smirk before hitting the ball. you got one in the hole and moved to the other side, leaning over again, this time with dean behind you. his eyes traced your figure and he couldn’t help but stare a little as you hit your shot, getting yet another ball in the hole. you hit your next shot from the same side of the table, but missed the hole. instead, you had it set up for a shot that would knock both your last ball and the eight ball in in one.
“your turn,” you said, turning around with an innocent smile.
dean snapped out of his daze and gave you a sheepish smile before continuing. dean hit one in and moved to the next. however, he missed his next shot by a centimetre before backing away from the table for you. you got in position and hit the white ball, your plan executed perfectly. first the red ball went in, then the eight ball. you jumped up and cheered, looking at dean with a large smile.
“how did you do that?” dean asked, astonished.
“this was my dads bar, dean, you know this. i’ve been playing pool since i was like six,” you said as you walked back to the bar.
he took his seat next to sam as you circled back around.
“listen, i know i lost or whatever, but i’d still like to buy you a drink,” dean said as you filled up his beer again.
“okay,” you agreed with a smile.
dean shot sam a look and he took the hint, saying he was gonna go talk to one of the people they had worked with on the case. as you went to make yourself a drink, sam stopped to say one last thing to dean.
“dude, she totally kicked your ass,” he laughed.
“shut up or i’m leaving you here,” dean said causing sam’s smile to widen.
you came back with a drink in hand and spent almost an hour talking to him, serving a bit in between, but found that you liked him a lot more than you thought you would.
when dean realized how late it was, he asked you for the bill. you handed it to him, the only thing listed being the drink he bought you. he looked at you questioningly.
“i thought-“ he started.
“screw the deal. you bought me a drink even though i absolutely destroyed you,” you joked, “plus, you guys deserve it. seriously.”
“thanks,” dean said as he handed you the money.
you took it to the register as dean wrote his number on the back of the bill.
“i only live a couple towns over, give me a call,” dean said with a wink as he walked out.
you folded up the paper and put it in your pocket as the boys left. once they were out, sam gave dean a look.
“dude, you gave her your number,” sam said in disbelief.
“i just need a rematch.”

Things I Can’t Say

The case was turning out to be a rough one. Each lead was turning up as a dead end, and every member of the team was just about over the chase after a couple of days.
Y/N sat in the office the local precinct had set aside for the team, on the phone with Penelope as she rattled off a million ideas. They eventually came to a possible suspect, Y/N putting the phone on speaker for Hotch and Reid to listen to as she listed her points.
“He could be a good starting point. He knew Quinn, and hung out in the same circles as the other three,” Garcia offered.
“Okay, we’ll check him out. Thanks, sugar,” Y/N said with a smile.
“Anything for you, my sweet.”
She hung up, looking to Hotch to find him already looking at her.
“She already sent the address,” he said, holding up his phone.
“Awesome.”
“You’ll come with me to check out the first suspect. Reid, I want you to stay here and complete the geographical profile.”
“Sounds good. I feel like I’m getting somewhere,” Reid said, nearly mindlessly.
Hotch nodded, starting towards the exit of the precinct with Y/N on his heels.
They pulled up to the house after a long drive, already getting the feeling this wouldn’t be their guy. Hotch pulled the key from the ignition, and they walked up to the front door.
A man opened the door after a firm knock, burly and a bit unkempt. Y/N spoke up first, hoping to soften him up to questioning.
“I’m supervisory special agent Y/L/N, this is Agent Hotchner. Can we ask you a few questions?”
He raised his brows. “Anything you say.”
“We’re inquiring about a man named Quinn. We hear you were good friends,” Hotch stated.
“Is there a question in there, agent?”
Hotch sighed. “Do you know the last time you saw him?”
“Week ago. Maybe two.”
Y/N crossed her arms, whispering to Hotch. “He’s not our guy. We’re looking for someone highly organized.”
Hotch nodded, dropping his arms.
“Well,” Y/N started, handing the man a business card. “Thank you for your time, sir. If you have any information, please give us a call.”
He looked at the card briefly. Then, “One question.”
“Yes?” she asked.
“Pretty girl like you: what are you doing working with the FBI?” the man asked, a sly smile on his face. “Don’t you think you’d be happier someplace else? Maybe around here?”
“She is a federal agent,” Hotch said, moving to stand in front of her. “Try practicing a little more respect.”
“Oh, and I’m supposed to be afraid of you, G-man?”
“You may be too incompetent to be the unsub we’re looking for, but I promise you this: one more slip-up and we will nail you to the wall for the illegal guns, and the drugs. I’m too busy to deal with scum like you currently, but you can believe I’ll have local law enforcement coming back with a warrant and subsequent 20-year sentence.”
The man stopped in his tracks, color draining from his face and confidence waning completely.
“Hotch,” she said, a hand on his arm. “Let it go. It’s fine.”
“It isn’t fine,” he huffed, turning towards her. The man shut his door in the meantime. “We’re federal agents on a job. There’s no reason for anyone to think it appropriate to treat you like that. Especially in a situation like this.”
“He’s put in his place now, though. I think you put the fear of God in him.”
She laughed, taking half a step back. He didn’t falter, though.
“I just—“ he started and stopped just as quickly.
“I know you’ve been a little on edge with this case. It’s okay. Just… Don’t worry about the little things like that. I could’ve taken care of it.”
He nodded. “I know.”
“Come on,” she said, starting to walk back towards the car. “I’ll let you have your pick of the music on the way back.”
He hid a smirk, following after her. The ride back to the precinct was quiet. Too quiet.
She turned to look at Hotch as he drove, uncharacteristically silent. It took a few seconds before he realized she was watching him, and he shot a sideways glance in her direction.
“You have something on your mind,” he stated, not even bothering to ask a question.
“Yeah. You’re being really quiet. Much more so than normal.”
He sighed, not giving a response.
“What is it, Hotch?”
“It’s nothing.”
“Are you still mad about that guy flirting with me?” she asked with half a smile.
“No,” he said shortly.
She scoffed. “Right. That was real convincing.”
He side eyed her. “I’m not.”
“You know, it’s okay if you are. I get it,” she started, a smile breaking out. “I really don’t mind if you’re all jealous.”
His face flushed, embarrassment taking hold.
“That’s not— It’s not what that is,” he muttered.
She raised a brow, the smile fading from her face as she took in his flustered state. She sat up straight in her seat, looking at him.
“Hey, I was just joking…” she trailed off. “Wait, are you actually jealous?”
“No.”
“You’re flushed and acting really flustered. It doesn’t take a profiler, Hotch.”
“I— No. I couldn’t be.”
“You shouldn’t be.”
“You think I don’t know that?” he said with a raised voice. He then took a moment, taking in a breath. “I can’t be. I have Beth, I can’t.”
Her heart stopped in that moment, she was sure. She didn’t know what to say, settling back in her seat and watching the road in front of her as they continued on towards the station. He was just as quiet, though internally panicking over letting it slip. He couldn’t help but think back to when he first realized she would become a problem for him.
—————
They sat at the table in the restaurant, exchanging the most embarrassing stories they could think of. Everyone was busting up with laughter through the night.
“No!” she exclaimed, looking at Reid with wild eyes. “You took down an old woman?”
Reid groaned. “Not on purpose! I tripped!”
“You’re lucky she didn’t break a hip,” Derek said with a laugh, slapping a hand against his back.
“At least it isn’t Y/N, here, getting thrown up on by a suspect,” Hotch said, smirking at her as he let something she’d been trying to keep secret slip.
“You asshole,” she laughed, lightly smacking his arm. “I was hoping to take that to my grave.”
“Oh, that is so gross,” Kate said, laughing.
“She had to change her pants in the car. It was lucky she had a change, because I did not want to ride back with her covered in… that,” Hotch laughed.
She groaned, pressing her face against his arm and away from the group. He laughed it off, his hand reaching down to rest on her knee as she waited out the laughter of the others. Though, this small gesture started feeling like too much for him. He could tell his face was reddening, and he took his hand away quickly to not alert anyone else to his condition.
He swallowed, trying to calm his nerves. He took in a breath, smiling slightly as she finally pulled away from his arm, though he felt his heart still pounding wildly. He couldn’t feel anything for her. He was her boss. She deserved better.
—————
She sat in her seat, unsure what her next move would be. Unsure what it should be in a circumstance like this. Did he really just admit he was jealous?
“We can just pretend this didn’t happen, you know? I I don’t want you to feel guilty or freaked out about this,” she offered, still not looking at him.
“I’m sorry,” he said, barely above a whisper. “I didn’t mean to…”
“No, I know. I know you didn’t,” she said, nodding. “You— You have Beth. You have a lot going on right now, frankly. I don’t want you to feel like this is adding on, or…”
“I understand. I really appreciate that.”
“Anything.”
He swallowed. “I just… I didn’t mean for that to slip out.”
“I know. You really don’t have to explain anything, it’s okay.”
He nodded quietly, both parties turning back to their own worlds as the pavement flew by them.
The rest of the case was a welcome relieve to the conversation they didn’t want to remember any longer. While they never wished for a difficult case, neither of them could say the mental gymnastics weren’t a great way to forget everything else around them.
Before long, though, the case was over. And, unfortunately, they were surrounded by profilers.
“Everything okay?” Derek asked as he sat next to Y/N. “You’re spaced out, sweet stuff.”
She smirked. “I’m alright. Just a lot on my mind.”
“Anything you want to talk about?”
“Not particularly. It’ll pass, so no worries here.”
He nodded, not convinced. “If you need to…”
“You’ll be there,” she said, finishing his sentence. “I appreciate you, Derek Morgan.”
“Right back at you, mama,” he said, nudging her side with a smile. “And if you need me to kick ass…”
“Won’t be necessary.”
“Just an offer,” he said, hands raised in surrender.
She smiled. “I know.”
The next couple of weeks were excruciating. She kept up a happy face, but she couldn’t stop thinking about his pseudo-confession. She wished she had the guts to say something back, but she knew it would have been pointless. He had someone, and had too much on his plate to deal with a younger subordinate confessing feelings for him. It wasn’t unwelcome when Garcia scurried through the bullpen with talk of a new case.
“Meet Maria Gonzales, thirty-four, and Cameron March, twenty-nine. Both women were reported missing within the past month, and just turned up in the past two weeks, bound in plastic with ligature marks on their wrists and ankles. They were each taken from a different healthcare facility in the San Antonio area last month. Now, a Miss Bryar Johnson has been abducted from yet another facility.”
Y/N sighed. “Yikes. So, we should have about a two-week period to find Bryar?”
“Yes,” Garcia started. “The first two women were killed right before they were dumped. Bryar was reported missing three days ago.”
“Plastic could be a sign of remorse,” Spencer piped up.
“What was the cause of death?” Rossi asked.
“Strangulation,” Hotch said, not looking up from the files. “Wheels up in 20.”
The San Antonio case was going surprisingly well, though Y/N felt that it could be going better on a personal level. Usually she’d pair up with Hotch for most of the case, especially since their similar skill sets matched with their different personal presentations was always helpful in getting answers whenever they needed them. This time around, he hardly looked in her direction.
“I know you said you’d tell me if something was wrong, but you’re still not saying a damn thing,” Derek said, walking up to her at the table she sat at.
She looked up at him, then went right back to searching through the files that sat before her. She could tell Derek was staring a hole into the back of her head, but couldn’t justify telling him what was happening in her life at the moment.
He sat down next to her, dragging the files away from her line of site.
“Mama, I know when something is up with you. You can’t hide that from me.”
“I know. That’s why I’m not saying anything.”
He sighed. “You’re being awfully difficult.”
“What’s new?” she questioned with a smile, finally looking at him.
He chuckled. “Touché. You’re talking to me now, at least.”
“I always talk to you, Morgan.”
“Most of the time. Except when you’re trying to hide something.”
She glared at him. “Have you considered I’m not talking for a reason?”
“Oh, I’ve considered it. I just know that when you hold stuff in you get all solemn and grumpy. I don’t want you to get to that point,” he said, turning her chair towards him. “Talk.”
“I can’t, Derek.”
“Why not?” he asked, voice quieter.
She sighed. “It’s… It’s hard to explain. It’s really personal.”
He reached for her hand, quietly taking it and not saying another words for a few moments. She looked to where their hands connected, letting out a shaky breath as she did.
“It’s Hotch,” she whispered, not looking at him.
“What? Is he okay?”
She nodded. “He’s fine. I’m just— I don’t know what to do.”
“What’s wrong? I haven’t seen you like this,” he noted, brow furrowing in concern.
She shook her head. “Yeah. It’s… I don’t know. Have you ever felt something so strongly, but just knew there was nothing you could do about it?”
He paused, studying her for a moment. He scooted forward slightly, eyes still trained on her face as he spoke quietly.
“Do you have feelings for Hotch?”
She nodded after a beat. “And I think he confessed the same to me but— There’s just nothing to be done about it. The worst part of all of it is that he can’t even look at me now. We haven’t really spoken since then. That was a few weeks ago.”
Morgan sighed, looking down. “Damn.”
“Damn, indeed,” she said with half a smirk.
He chuckled slightly. “I’m sorry, mama. I— I can’t imagine what that’s like.”
“Of course you can’t. You’re a smoke show. Who could resist?”
He laughed out loud. “You know me so well.”
She laughed along. “What can I say?”
He stood up, taking her hands as he did. She stood with him, accepting a long hug from him.
“You deserve to be happy,” he whispered. “Let this one go. You’ll find the right person.”
“I get it. It just really sucks right now.”
“I know.”
“We have a break in the case,” Hotch’s voice rang out in the small room, breaking the two of them up.
“Yeah?” she asked, pulling away from Derek. “What do you need from us?”
Hotch looked between them for a moment, then continued on.
“Garcia should have just sent an address. We need to leave now, though. A massive storm is rolling in and roads are getting bad.”
“Gotcha,” she said, nodding curtly. “Are we all riding together?”
“Why wouldn’t we?”
She paused for a moment before responding. “Right.”
“We’ll be out in a minute,” Morgan said with finality. As soon as Hotch left, he turned back to her, “You okay?”
“Yeah. Let’s finish this and get home.”
The storm turned out worse than they all had expected. The take-down ended up slightly more difficult due to power outages across the state, and the more difficult part was the fact that they would be forced to stay for the night when Y/N wanted nothing more than to go home to her own bed.
She sat inside the SUV with Hotch and Rossi on the way back to the hotel for the night, staring out the window at the pouring rain. Their voices became a type of white noise to her as they conversed quietly, though her silence didn’t go unnoticed.
Hotch glanced back at her every couple of minutes, feeling a sense of dread at the coming conversation she currently knew nothing about. His heart felt like it might burst, and putting up a front was getting harder and harder by the minute. He had a million thoughts running through his head, and it certainly didn’t help that she was completely spaced out in the backseat.
“You’re awfully quiet back there,” Rossi noted, finally breaking the two out of their own heads.
“Just tired,” she said. “The rain doesn’t help. I always get sleepy during storms.”
“You sure?”
She hummed. “Yeah. No worries here, Rossi.”
They pulled into the parking lot after a few minutes, and prepared to run inside of the building and away from the downpour. They all got in with minimal damage done, though not without some wet hair.
Y/N couldn’t help but laugh as she looked at the two men, her own head safe after using a jacket as a shield.
“Good look, you guys. The drowned rat thing really suits you,” she said with a smile, looking between them.
“Hey, watch it. Maybe next time you won’t be so lucky,” Rossi said, laughing lightly as he shook his hair out.
Hotch smiled, scrunching his nose as he brushed his fingers through his hair. Y/N watched him with intent, though not without missing the fact that Rossi knew that look on her.
He cleared his throat. “I’m gonna head off.”
She looked to Rossi as he gave them one last knowing look. A look that was a bit too smug for her liking.
“He’s acting weird,” she said out loud.
Hotch nodded. “That’s Dave.”
“Only when he knows something,” she said, looking back to him expectantly.
“What would he know?” Hotch questioned.
She watched him for a moment. “You tell me.”
He cleared his throat, glancing away. She was silent, hoping it’d prompt him to say something.
“Can we talk privately?”
“Why?”
“You said you wanted to know.”
She narrowed her eyes. “Hotch, I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
He sighed. “I’m not going to do anything stupid.”
“I’m not saying you would.”
“Y/N.”
She crossed her arms. “We haven’t talked in weeks. I don’t know how to act around you right now.”
“I never should have said anything. Not like that, I know,” he said with a sigh. “I would really appreciate if we could talk about it now, though. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
“It didn’t make me uncomfortable.”
“Please. Can we go someplace else? The others are going to be here any minute.”
She glanced around the hotel lobby, then back to the man in front of her. He sure looked less intimidating with soaking wet hair and puppy dog eyes.
Eventually, she nodded. “Okay.”
They stepped into the hotel elevator, unsure what to say in the silence. She looked up at him, receiving a small smile. The elevator dinged on the floor they were all staying on, and she led him to her room.
He followed after quietly, standing awkwardly by the door after she closed and locked it. She turned to look at him once she sat on the bed.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m still wet.”
She couldn’t help by laugh. She then got up, making a quick stop in the bathroom to grab a towel. She came back, standing in front of him to hand it over.
“Here,” she said, arms extended with the towel in hand.
He smiled. “Thanks.”
She watched as he scrubbed at his head, his hair flying in all directions by the time he was done.
“You look ridiculous,” she said with a smirk.
He dropped his arms, towel still in hand. His brow quirked up.
“That bad?”
“Not bad. Just ridiculous.”
He failed to hide a smile at that, looking around for a place to set down the towel. She took it from him, instructing him to take off his shoes as she went to throw it in the bathroom once again. She came back to see him settling down on the edge of the bed.
“So,” she started, trailing off as she sat next to him. “What’s up?”
He snorted a laugh. “A lot. I think, first, I need to apologize to you.”
“No, you don’t.”
“I do,” he said with a nod, turning to look at her more fully. “I shouldn’t have let on that I had any kind of feeling for you other than professional ones. That’s… It was really unfair to you, and puts you in a bad position. I want you to feel safe and respected at work, and I feel like I’ve put that at risk.”
“Hotch,” she said, stopping him. “You didn’t. I know you respect me, and I do feel safe. As safe as an agent can get, anyways.”
She laughed, drawing a small smile from him.
She continued, “I made a joke, and it turned out to be true. You didn’t just up and tell me. I’m just like… Really good at my job.”
He fully laughed this time, head dropping into his hands.
“You’re making it really hard to feel bad about this,” he mumbled.
“Good. You shouldn’t feel bad.”
He sighed, looking back up. “I still will. You don’t deserve to be worried that your boss is going to— make a move.”
She quirked a brow. “Make a move?”
“You know what I mean.”
“I’m not worried about that and never have been. You care way too much about this team and people in general to make advances at someone who didn’t want them,” she said, scooting an inch closer. “Besides, you made our boundaries clear. You have someone you love, and I know you’re not the cheating type.”
He paused, then let out a heavy sigh, looking anywhere but at her.
“Uh oh,” she said, looking at him curiously. “What nerve did I just hit?”
“I, uh… We broke things off. Beth and I.”
She deflated. “Oh. I’m so sorry. I really didn’t mean to—“
“No, no,” he waved her off. “It’s okay. It was mutual. Distance has been wearing on us for a while, and honestly neither of us were really feeling it anymore.”
“When did this happen?”
“Last week.”
“I’m sorry.”
He nodded. “It’s not been as difficult as I thought it would be. Jack has been handling it very well. He told me the other day on the phone that I’m going to find the perfect person one day.”
Hotch smiled at that, finally looking back at her. She smiled back, nodding.
“I’d have to agree with him. He’s got that big old brain from his dad, you know?” she said, nudging him in the arm.
He laughed softly again. “He’s a great kid.”
“The best, arguably.”
He hummed in agreement.
“Can I ask you something?” she said after a beat of silence.
“Anything,” he replied with a brief nod.
“Do you ever say or do the things you want to?”
He furrowed his brow. “What do you mean by that?”
“You just keep so much bottled up. Do you ever let yourself dump it all out?”
He cleared his throat. “On occasion, I suppose.”
She nodded thoughtfully. He watched her, knowing something was stirring in her head.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked quietly.
“Can I slip a secret?”
“Yes.”
She swallowed. “I really, truly wasn’t uncomfortable when you let it slip. The whole jealousy thing.”
“What?”
Hotch’s heart started up again, unsure where she was going with this, but really hoping it went in one direction.
“I know what you were feeling. Like, every time we show up to a new town and half the ladies in the place are staring you down. I get it.”
He let out a breath. “I don’t—“
“If this is like, way too inappropriate for me to say, I’d really appreciate if you didn’t fire me. But, I’ve had a thing for you since my first day on the job. Frankly, these past few weeks have been hell.”
“Y/N…”
“Again I ask that you don’t fire me.”
He chuckled. “I won’t. I— Since your first day?”
“Remember when I couldn’t remember my own name for a minute there at the beginning?”
He hummed. “You were nervous for the interview.”
She rolled her eyes playfully. “I’ve never been more prepared for an interview. I was nervous that my possible new boss was a smoke show, and it freaked me out even more that he was staring me down the second I walked in the door like I was an unsub.”
He smirked. “A smoke show? Really?”
“As if you don’t know,” she laughed, pushing his shoulder lightly. “I just… I guess I kind of freaked out seeing you. And hearing you talk so passionately about work for the first time. Not to mention the way your voice sounds…”
“Alright, let’s not get carried away,” he said, color rushing into his cheeks.
“It’s also super cute when you blush like that,” she said, squeezing in the last phrase before he could stop her again.
He sat quietly, just taking her in for a moment. She hid a smile, unsure what her next move should be. He cleared his throat.
“So, are you really all that sorry that things with Beth ended?”
“Sorry that it might have hurt you? Yes. Sorry that it’s done? Not really.”
“I see.”
“I also don’t know how excited I should be, considering you could totally blow me off right now and see if sleeping around is your new lifestyle. That might make things worse for me, honestly.”
He laughed. “Oh, yes. Leaving the person who gave me the courage to finally end a serious relationship is at the top of my list.”
Her face dropped. “What?”
He took in a breath, now realizing what he’d just said. A nervous laughter bubbled out of him, his eyes wide.
“I shouldn’t have said that.”
“You broke things off because of me?”
He groaned. “Not fully.”
“Hotch, what the hell,” she said, laughing fully. “What if I was, like, not on board?”
“I didn’t think you were until now. I guess I still thought it was worth it. Plus, like I said, we’ve both been wanting to for a while.”
“Still!”
She laughed, scooting even closer to him. She took his hands in her own, a wild smile on her face as she looked at his bewildered one staring back.
“Are you fully insane?”
He stumbled over words for a moment. “I— I might be.”
She stared at him a moment longer, then decided all of the thinking and overthinking they’d both done was getting ridiculous. If he could act impulsively, so could she.
She leaned forward, pressing a hard kiss to his lips. He stayed still for a moment in shock before responding eagerly. His arms found her waist, and he tugged her into his lap as soon as he could.

Jealousy, Jealousy
Leroy Jethro Gibbs X Fem OC/Reader
Word Count: 3884
Warning: Mild Language, Fluff, Angst, Possessiveness, Jealousy…
Prompt: Gibbs pulled a stunt and you decided to get your revenge—by making him jealous…
Tumblr media
Y/N Gibbs POV
I woke up today and had the most brilliant idea. I knew exactly how to get my husband back. I shake my head, still unable to believe that Jethro could do such a thing—especially at work!
FLASHBACK
I hum a tune as I step out of the bathroom with a big, fluffy towel wrapped around my. I found myself sifting through my work clothes when my eyes catch a silver gift bag. I grab it, pulling the card off it.
Y/N/N, be a good girl and wear this to work, will you? -Jet
I open the bag and pull out a beautiful dark red lingerie set. I was trying to think of what the occasion was and why Jethro would be giving me a gift. My heart beats with anticipation at the thought of us having sex. We haven't done anything intimate for weeks besides a quick kiss here and there. We've both put our focus on work and we've come home, immediately crashing is bed.
I drop the towel, sliding on the lingerie set and hum in approval. I loved the feeling of lingerie against my skin. Something about it made me feel confident and sexy. I go back to my dresser and pull on a baggy pair of black cargo pants. I pull on a white baggy t-shirt and a black blazer.
Jethro was possessive and I loved it. I joined the team seven years ago and I may be the baby of the team, slightly younger than Ziva, Tim and Tony, but I worked my ass off. I was the "heart" of the team as they put it. I was a profound profiler and negotiator. We all were great investigators, but I also brought our little team closer together.
When I first joined, I could give a care less about the dress code. Some days, I'd follow it, but my clothes were snug to my figure. I was confident and didn't mind showing a bit more cleavage than needed. Some days, I liked to wear short skater skirts like Abby, to show off my legs. I'd show the occasional stomach here and there.
But, I enjoyed the way Jethro's eyes would roam over me. I chuckle, thinking about the day he asked me over to his house. It was our first kiss and our first time together. We were friends with benefits briefly before I had enough and outed how I felt. Then we dated before marrying. All of which I stopped dressing the way I use to, noticing how possessive he got over me once we were officially together. He's a man who gets jealous easy, not appreciating others staring at "his woman" as he puts it.
I leave my red hair down, grabbing my bag before leaving our home. It was time for work and it seems Jethro left me to sleep in. I was thankful and disappointed. I knew I needed the sleep, but I also enjoy our car rides to work together. I can't remember the last time I drove to work on my own.
It was a quiet drive, mostly filled with humming before I hum my way into the building and up to the bullpen. I saw the FBI here and roll my eyes. Oh, what a case this will be.
"Hon, we are working alongside the FBI on this case. Show them the conference room." Jethro says.
"Well, good morning to you as well husband. Yeah, my morning has been wonderful, thanks for asking. Oh, how's yours? Wonderful too. It was strange coming into work without you. Oh, and I got your gift. And yes, I listened. Oh, your tired of my rambling. Right, don't forget I'm your wife, Jet. Agents, follow me." I say, mocking at Jethro.
He had a small amused smile on his face. I was slightly moody he was acting strange with me today. I lead the agents away, ignoring Tony's grin at my one-on-one conversation with myself.
I leave the Agents to set up and head back to my desk. I could feel his eyes on me and I glance up, meeting those piercing blue eyes. I quirk a brow.
"Yes, Jethro?" I ask.
"Wondering if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed." He murmurs, smirking slightly.
"Asshole! You didn't even say good morning, we didn't ride together, I haven't even had a good morning kiss or hug, I haven't had coffee nor breakfast, and the first thing you do when you see me is put me to work." I hiss and he snorts.
"I think you woke up with your hair on fire, hon." He says.
I clench my jaw, narrowing my eyes at him. I shake my head as the elevators open and Fornell walks off.
"Y/N! Any chance your divorcing Jethro yet?" Fornell asks with a grin.
"I might just be his fifth ex-wife after this morning!" You tease, sending a glare at a grumpy Jethro who was glaring daggers at the both of you.
Fornell talks to Gibbs, but your eyes widen as you bite your tongue to silence any noise from you as you clench your thighs at the sudden vibrations you felt. It clicked. The lingerie bottoms weren't an ordinary bottoms. They were meant for teasing. In your case, punishment. You glare up at Jethro who's lips twitches as he amps it up higher. You nearly jumped out of your chair, trying to suppress the moan.
END OF FLASHBACK
Oh, how he pushed the wrong buttons. He had left earlier once again much to my displeasure, but today was the day to get him back. Make him jealous and then make him have the bluest balls he's ever going to have.
I walk out of the bathroom, dropping the towel. I put on a lingerie set. I grab my black skirt that ended at mid-thigh—and that’s if I was being generous on that.
It was tight, hugging my ass and my legs. It really brought out my legs and I grin. It has a little slit, but it was cute. Not to mention the designer belt I add to it—a gift from Jethro. I had been talking about it with Abby for months and he got it as a birthday present.
I grab a white top that was like a tank-top with the wider straps. It was clinging to my body, the deep plunge neckline showed off more cleave than I've shown in years. A little bit of my belly was peaking through and I grin. Perfect. I slide on a black blazer before grabbing my black high heels.
This was going to be perfect.
I go to the bathroom, brushing my wavy red hair. I go for a slightly edgy, but neutral makeup look with a slightly dark red lipstick.
I hum, grabbing my purse and begin making my way to the Navy yard. I decided a pit stop was necessary and I grabbed drinks for the team. I get there and decided to go to Autopsy where I leave their drinks on the table as they were out getting a body. I leave a little note, humming as I head back to the elevator and head to Abby's lab.
She had her music going and I walk in, as she spins, she sees me. She turns the music off and looks at me in awe.
"You look so pretty!" She exclaims.
"Thank you, Abs! I brought you a gift." I say, handing her Caf-Pow.
"Your the best! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She exclaims and I chuckle.
"Of course." I say.
I head to the elevator, feeling slightly nervous for Jethro's reaction. I walk off the elevator and Tony whistles.
"I brought you a coffee with loads of cream and sugar." I say, winking at him and he grins.
"Thanks!" He says.
I head to Ziva, pulling a tea free.
"A tea for you, it was a new one on the menu I thought you'd like to try." I say.
"Thank you, Y/N/N. You look gorgeous by the way." She says, smirking slightly and I smile.
"Thanks, Ziva. I felt like dressing up a bit today. I felt like I deserved it after the hell Jethro put my through last week." I say.
"Fornell can be a real pain in the ass." She chuckles and I grin.
"That he can be." I say, even though that wasn't what I was referring too.
I walk to McGee, handing him a black coffee which he quietly thanks me for as he is on the phone. I walk to Jethro, handing him a coffee.
"My office." He grumbles.
"Oh, Jethro. Take that stick out of your ass. Who's looking anyway. It's an outfit and it's cute." I say.
He was silent, staring at me with dark, narrowed blue eyes. I could see the lust in them just as I could see the possessiveness in them...the jealousy coming to the surface.
I turn, walking to my desk, throwing the carton away once I pulled my coffee free. I hum softly as the elevator doors open.
"Fornell! If you like us so much, come join the team!" I say, winking at him.
"FBI is more my forte...although, your always welcome to join my team." He says, his eyes on my chest.
Jethro clears his throat and I look at him to see him glaring daggers at Fornell.
"Eyes off my wife, Fornell." He warns.
That sent a strange sensation to my core. I knew why and I was eager for the day to go on, wanting to press more buttons.
"I don't know how you managed to settle down with this grumpy bastard, Y/N." Fornell says and I giggle, rolling my eyes.
"Y/N, my office. Now." Jethro snaps, standing up as he storms towards the elevator.
I grin which stopped the team from looking so concerned. It was their turn to chuckle.
"You planned this out." Tony says.
"That I did. Revenge is a bitch." I say and he chuckles as I walk toward the elevator that Jethro was waiting on.
The doors close and he hits the button harshly. I purse my lips, swatting his arm.
"Easy there, macho man." I say.
"What the hell are you wearing?" He snaps, glaring down at me.
"Well this is my skirt. Look! It even has a little slit right here. It's so cute. And this top...you know that though." I say, grinning.
"I don't want people ogling my wife. I have some extra clothes of yours at my desk." He sighs.
"I'm not changing, Jet." I say.
"Why the hell not?" He asks, turning back to me.
"Because, I like this outfit. And you'd like it to if you investigated a little more." I say.
"You didn't." He grits out.
"Oh, I did. Your favorite set too." I say and I gasp as he pushes me up against a wall.
"It's one thing wearing this outfit to work, knowing men will stare, but then lingerie. Your asking for your ass to be red." He growls.
His hand twitches on my hip and I smile softly, putting my hand over it as I slide it under my skirt. His eyes were locked with mine and I make his fingers brush the lace bottoms.
"I just woke up feeling really good about today, Jet. I wanted an outfit to suit my mood and confidence." I say, shrugging.
"Your changing. I can't have you on my mind all damn day as we work a case, worrying about someone looking up your skirt." He says and I roll my eyes.
I push him back, smoothing my outfit out.
"I'm not changing, Jet. I'm your wife, not some...dog you can control." I say.
"Your my bitch in bed, aren't you?" He says and my jaw drops.
"Leroy Jethro Gibbs! That is so crude and so...s-so unlike you!" I exclaim.
"I thought you liked it when I called you my bitch. Are you not? What happened to being daddy's whore?" He asks and I gulp.
I could feel my skin flush as my panties dampen. Maybe I didn't think this all the way through. He smirks, that stupid lopsided smirk, his eyes twinkling. He knew damn well what he was doing to me.
Two can play this game.
"Well daddy...I do like it when you call me those names. But, I'm not in the mood right now." I say.
"W-What? You just called me daddy. Your doing that thing with your eyes and you wore this outfit. You want my attention. Well, you have it." He says.
Oh, I have it alright and I'll have it the rest of the day, whilst leaving you hanging for that crap you pulled last week.
"I think your profiling skills are a bit off, hon." I say, feigning an apologetic smile.
I pat his arm before moving out from the wall and hitting the emergency stop button. He goes to hit again, but I swat his hand away and the doors open. We walk off and he grabs my wrist. I stop, looking at him.
"Please change...I'll do whatever you want." He murmurs.
"I like my outfit, Jethro." I say, pulling away and going to my desk.
"Gibbs! I brought the file you asked for!" Palmer says before all the papers fall out.
He looks at Jethro wide eyed and I stand, bending over to help. I was well aware what I was going and I heard Fornell and Tony whistle as Jethro curses and I hear his chair.
I feel him press against me from behind, a hand on my hip as he leans down behind me to grab a paper.
"Sit your ass down right now, Y/N or else I'll carry your ass out of here kicking and screaming." He warns quietly.
"I'm trying to help Palmer. Leave me alone, Jethro. Your being moody today." I say.
He grunts, but I finish picking up the papers before standing. I take the papers from Palmer as Jethro tugs my skirt down as it did ride up a bit. I walk back to my desk, working on reorganizing the papers before standing and handing it to Jethro.
I sit and Jethro soon was giving out orders when he realized Tony was alone. I stand.
"I'll go with Tony! It's been awhile since I've been out baiting a suspect." I say.
"Not dressed in that." Jethro says gruffly.
"Oh get over yourself, Jet. I look fine. Come on, Tony!" I exclaim.
"We'll be watching!" Fornell says before he grunts.
"Stop staring at my wife's ass." Jethro warns.
We all get on the elevator and I hum softly as Tony hands me the keys. The keys...to his very nice car that I've been dying to drive.
"You dressed to impress and it's a simple and quick undercover op where you get his attention. So, get his attention tigress." He says, winking at me and I grin.
I follow Tony to his car, more than eager to drive his baby. I glance at Jethro to see his brooding face and fiery eyes. I knew he was growing more pissed off. My eyes were on his slightly growing bulge.
The drive to the nice bar was short. Tony and I made our way to the bar with our earpieces in.
"Look a little more like a couple." McGee says.
"Boss is going to kill me." Tony grumbles before sliding his hand from my lower back to ass.
"I'll protect you." I say.
"Will you?" Jethro's gruff voice comes through.
"If you don't want the bluest balls in history, Jethro, I'd comply a bit." I murmur, looking over the menu of drinks as Tony tries to stifle his laughter.
"I don't know what to get, babe!" I exclaim, moving so I was in front of Tony.
Our chests were pressed together, his hand on my ass and I move my hand to his. His eyes widen before going back to normal. I catch a man staring and I did a brief study before looking back up into Tony's eyes.
"Blue jeans. Hawaiian shirt. Ten o'clock." I say.
"See him." Jethro grunts.
"Why don't you get yourself a martini?" Tony asks.
"I don't like girly drinks, you know that." I say and he chuckles.
"Get her a Black Russian." Jethro says and I smile sweetly up at Tony.
"Hey, can I get a Black Russian and a bourbon over ice?" Tony asks.
I giggle as he lifts me up onto the bar, both of us level almost. I was still slightly short.
"Boss, you got to get some food in her. She's as light as a feather." Tony says.
"Oh stop!" I giggle, smacking his chest.
"Black Russian and bourbon over ice." The bartender says.
Tony hands me my drink and grabs his, both of us clinking our glasses together. He took a sip, but I down mine.
"Easy there, tigress." Tony chides.
"Give me yours." I say.
He hands me his, which solves the problem of his drink and not looking suspicious. I downed his, grinning.
"Want to go out back?" He asks.
"Does either of you have a sidearm?" Fornell questions.
"Inner thigh." I say.
"DiNozzo...if I find out that your hands go up my wife's skirt, you won't have to worry about a funeral." Jethro grunts.
"Come!" I exclaim, jumping off the bar and grabbing his hand.
We walk out the back, and I glanced back at Tony to catch the unsub following us.
"He'll be right behind us." I say.
"I ain't grabbing your sidearm. Gibbs will kill me." He says.
I reach a hand under my skirt, pulling my gun out of the holster before handing it to him which he shoved inside his jacket before he picks me up and pins me against the wall.
"Alright. Couples who drink and go to the back alley do what?" McGee asks.
I could see the eye roll. Tony looked nervous and I roll my eyes, pulling him in for a kiss. He kisses back as the backdoor opens. We pull away when we hear a click and see the unsub pointing a gun at us. Tony had my red lipstick all over his mouth and he slowly sat me down.
"Back away and give me that whore. God! Why can't you guys stop! Your constantly wrecking families. He came in here the other night with a girl. His wife." He snaps.
Ziva and Tony did go undercover the other night. For todays purposes. I reach my hand under Tony's jacket, my hand on the gun before I aim it at him.
"Only one person can call me a whore, and that's for pleasure purposes. Drop the weapon. Your coming with us." I say.
"Y/N! Didn't need to know that!" McGee groans.
"Dirty girl, for real. Jeesh. I didn't expect boss to be that way." Tony says, looking confused.
I could hear Jethro and Fornell chuckling on the other side as Ziva snickers.
"Always knew you were a dirty minded woman, Y/N/N." Ziva teases.
"He calls me other names and I call him some delightful names too." I say, grinning.
Tony cuffs the unsub who finally decided to drop his weapon. Jethro and Fornell walk out the back door and Jethro looks at me with a small smile and an amused expression.
"Really had to keep running your mouth, didn't you hon?" He asks.
"He called me a whore. I didn't like it. It's not like when you call me a whore." I tease.
"Alright. Coms off." McGee says quickly and I laugh.
Jethro puts his hand on my back and we begin walking out of the alleyway. Ziva was helping Tony wipe my lipstick off and I decided to touch up my lipstick. I hum, bobbing my head slightly.
"Hey, is she single?" I hear.
"Do you not see that man's hand on her back? And the wedding ring on her finger. She's happily married. I'd keep a distance if you don't want that man to shoot you in the ass. He's very possessive over her. And I think of her as a sister so get lost asshole." Tony snaps.
I smile, looking up at Jethro who also caught the conversation. He had a small smirk on his face and I walk away from him. Eager to get home.
Tumblr media
I walk in, Jethro not far behind me. I walk to the kitchen, grabbing two beers. I glance up when I see him hovering in the doorway with clenched fists and an unreadable expression.
"What the hell was your problem today?" He asks.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." I say, shrugging with an innocent smile.
"The outfit. Teasing me. Flirting with people. The undercover op with Tony." He says.
"Jethro, tell me you didn't forget." I chide, walking towards him.
He watches me with those intense blue eyes and I stop in front of him, looping my arms around his neck.
"Elaborate." He demands and I huff.
"Last week. You stepped on my toes, Jet. And you thought I could let you get away with it...you thought." I say.
"Your one hell of a woman. You could of found another approach to seeking your revenge, hon. You flashed your ass today more times than I can count." He says.
"Thankfully I have a nice ass, Jethro." I say.
"My point exactly, besides I don't appreciate people staring at my woman." He says, his hands settling on my hips.
The tingles I felt were unreal. This man stirred a side I didn't know I had.
"Oh, Jethro. Green isn't your color. Who knew you could get jealous over little things." I tease.
"You are not a little thing. Your the most important part of my life. And I'm not ashamed I'm jealous. I have a smart, beautiful and feisty wife that everyone seems to want and I'm not very keen on the thought of losing you." He says.
"I love you, Jet." I murmur.
"I love you too, hon. But, get your ass upstairs. I'm going to get the coffee pot ready for tomorrow. We aren't getting much sleep tonight." He says and my heart speeds up.
"Really?" I ask excitedly.
He smirks, pulling away and walking towards the coffee pot. I push the skirt down while he's turned around pull the shirt off, left in my lingerie and heels before throwing the skirt and shirt at him.
I didn't miss the way he tensed before slowly turning to me. I grin slyly at him, loving how his eyes slowly roam over me. I loved the way they darkened and narrowed. His gaze was intense.
"Upstairs, now." He says.
"You better hurry, Jethro. I might get impatient." I tease before running out of the room.
I didn't miss his low chuckle and I knew that tonight was going to be a long one. But, I knew it was going to be a good night. It's been weeks, a few months, since we've been intimate.

Helpless
Tumblr media
Spencer Reid x Bau!Fem!Reader
Summary: Your reaction, as Spencer’s fiancé, to his bail being denied.
Word Count: 1,391
You fidgeted with your skirt as you walked into the court house. Your stomach was doing violent flips that had caused you to vomit three times already.
Today was Spencer’s arraignment hearing.
You kept breathing deep as you walked down the hall, fiddling with your engagement ring as you tried your best not to let the boulder weight on your chest break you.
You needed to be strong. For Spencer.
You saw Emily standing outside the courtroom and quickly made your way over to her.
“Hey.”
Emily span around and her faced softened as she stepped over to you and opened her arms to hug you, “Hey, how’re you holding up?”
You sighed heavily, as you hugged her back tightly, “Awful. I couldn’t sleep all night.” The hug almost made your fragile emotional wall come crumbling down and tears flooded your eyes so you ended the hug quickly and coughed. Trying to regain your composure.
“There’s everyone else.” Emily whispered.
You looked behind you and surely enough the entire team was walking down the hall towards you and Emily.
“Hey, so glad you all could make it.” Emily nodded to them all.
Garcia, who also had tears in her eyes, walked over to you and enveloped you in a tight hug, “Oh. We wouldn’t miss this for anything.”
You sniffled hard and pulled back, turning your head away from the team as you rubbed gently at your nose.
“What did he decide about the plea?” Rossi asked you.
You shrugged, “I don’t know. I don’t even think he knows.” You had thought it over for hours and hours last night. Pleading guilty to a crime he didn’t commit and be out in two to five years or plead not guilty and possibly get life.
Luke shrugged, “Five is a lot less than twenty-five.”
Tara gave you a supportive smile, “Well, whatever he decides, he has our full support.”
Rossi stepped forward and took your hands in his own, “And whatever price they set, I am prepared to pay it.”
Your heart swelled at his generosity, “Thank you, Rossi.”
“They’re calling his case.”
The team turned to see Fiona hanging outside of the courtroom door, gesturing for them to come in.
They all walked straight to the front and you made sure to sit right behind Spencer’s seat.
The door opened and a bailiff pushed Spencer into the court and led him over to the table.
Spencer’s face softened a little bit when he saw you. Not taking his eyes off of you as he was sat in his chair.
He looked like he hasn’t slept in weeks when it’s only been a couple of days. Dark bruises beneath his eyes that made you lift both of your hands up to touch him but you quickly brought them back down again, fidgeting in your lap.
This was it.
Penelope slowly laid her hand over yours and held on tight as the court came into session.
“Case number 149-CR 0308, U.S. vs Reid.”
The judge stared down at Spencer, “Ms. Duncan, your client is an FBI agent, correct?”
Fiona stood and nodded, “That's right, your honour.”
The Judge then looked at Spencer with a raissd eyebrow, extremely unimpressed, “You're charged with murder, which is a very serious matter.”
Spencer stood slowly and cleared his throat, “Y- yes, your honour.”
Your heart broke at the sound of hid voice, he sounded so defeated.
“All right, Ms. Duncan, does your client wish to enter a plea at this time?”
“He does.” Fiona nodded and gestured to Spencer.
“And how do you plead, agent Reid?”
Spencer stood up straight, “Not guilty, your honour.”
You gasped quietly, not knowing if it’s in relief or not yet. You’re so glad that he’s not admitting to something he didn’t do, yet you were now fearful of the worst possibilities to come.
“Thank God.” Penelope whispered beside you.
“And as to bail?”
The prosecutor stood, “The people oppose bail and request remand, your honour.”
You spun your engagement ring around your finger. They can’t. They can’t do this to him. Not to your Spencer.
The rest of the team sat with silent rage as the two attorneys argued.
Fiona gestured to Spencer every time she spoke, “Your honour, my client presents no risk of flight.”
“That's ridiculous.” The prosecutor scoffed, “The defendant was arrested after fleeing the murder scene in Mexico.”
“Those were extenuating circumstances. He'd been drugged against his will.”
“By failing to notify the FBI of his international travel, the defendant violated the Bureau protocol.”
As much as you hated to admit it, the prosecutor made very valid points. You knew the truth but he was very convincing.
“My client presents no flight risk. He has deep ties in this community. His mother suffers from Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia and lives with him. He is solely responsible for her well-being. He recently got engaged to fellow agent, SSA Y/L/n, who he is completely dedicated to. Additionally, he himself has been a decorated SSA with the FBI's behavioural analysis unit for over a decade.”
“And as an FBI agent, he has contacts all over the world.”
“Agent Reid would be willing to turn over both his personal and government issued passports.”
“If he wanted a counterfeit passport, he could easily get one.”
Fiona gave an annoyed glance to the prosecutor, “Your honour, please. He has no criminal history.”
“The defendant is uniquely situated to evade law enforcement should he flee the jurisdiction. You said so yourself, his fiancé is a fellow agent.”
Your mouth dropped open, how was that man allowed to just stand there and say these things about the both of them. He doesn’t even know you!
“Your honour, he wants to stay here and clear his good name.”
“He should have thought about his good name before sneaking across the border.” the prosecutor sneered.
“I'm prepared to present multiple law enforcement character witnesses on his behalf right now. The witnesses are here in the courtroom, all highly respected FBI agents.” Fiona gestured to the entire team.
“Simmer down, Ms. Duncan. It's almost six and I'm not inclined to hear from character witnesses. Actions speak louder than words, I always say.”
“We'd be willing to abide by a curfew and strict monitoring of his whereabouts at all times.”
“Too little too late, counsellor.”
Your heart sunk in your chest. Panic and fear began rising to the surface.
No, no, no, no, no.
“If past behaviour is the best indicator of future conduct, and I do believe it is, then your client presents a flight risk. Bail is denied. Defendant will be remanded to federal custody pending trial.” She banged the gavel and you felt your world crashing down with it.
Spencer stood in shock, turning around he called for you but you couldn’t hear him.
“Y/n!”
Snapping out of it you looked up as they were snapping the cuffs back on him again.
His eyes were wide in panic as the bailiff pushed him, “I love you.” he mouthed.
You placed your hand over your mouth to try to keep the sobs at bay, choking out an, “I love you too.”
The team were all leaning into you, placing their hands on your shoulder and arms, trying to tell you it’s going to be okay.
Okay?
How can it be okay when your fiancé is being dragged out of a courtroom in cuffs?
You needed air, everything was too much. This was all too much.
The team was talking to you but you were so unfocused. You gently brushed off everyone’s hands and exited the pew before stumbling out of the court room.
You were trying your best to keep your emotions in check but the dam was bursting. The tears were beginning to fall and your sobs were now audible.
Familiar hands placed themselves on your shoulders. Gently turning you until you were pressed in tight to Rossi’s chest.
“What are we going to do?” you cried hopelessly into his shirt.
“Everything we can. We’ll get him out.” Rossi wrapped his arms protectively around you, keeping you from falling to the ground.
The team felt helpless as they watched you break down in Rossi’s arms.
This was not going to be easy.
They just hoped that both of you would make it out the other side.

After The Fall (Hannibal/Will)
Tumblr media
Description: What would happen if Y/N was there doing the fall?
Word Count: 1,515k
Y/N gasped as Will pushed her out of the hug, all three were sharing and pushed himself and Hannibal off the cliff. She fell to the ground with a groan. She got up and yelled their names as she ran to the cliff. Except, she didn’t see them. She didn’t see any bodies, didn’t hear any noise besides waves of the water. Tears welled up in her eyes, thinking the worst.
Will had gotten hurt pretty bad during the fight. She looked down at the wounds she had and thought she was in no better place. She turned to look at the body of the red dragon. The memory that happened 5 minutes ago played in her head. They killed him. She, unlike Will and Hannibal, had never killed anyone. Not even as self defensive. Though she didn’t feel bad for what she did, how could she? This man, this thing had tried to kill her husband and their boyfriend. The Red Dragon, what a joke, she thought. She couldn’t believe what Will just did, that wasn’t part of the plan. Though to her, none of this was.
“Are you sure?” She asked Will as they drove to the prison that Hannibal was in. He shook his head and chuckled. “No, I’m not sure.” He said and looked over at her. “I’m not either.” She looked down at her hands. “I love him. We both do.” She said, looking over at him. “But this is our way out. Out of Jack and all that’s come with it.” He gave her a small smile. “Yeah, that would be nice.” He said, she looked at him. “I’m serious Will. Maybe we shouldn’t go.” She said. “We’ve thought long and hard about this, Y/N. We love him and if all goes well. Years from now we can be a happy family.” He said and placed his hand over her stomach that held their 2 month old baby.
Though they’ve been married for years, she just recently got pregnant. The baby was Will’s given the fact that Hannibal has been in prison the last 3 years. “I don’t know. I just have an odd feeling about this.” “Y/N, I can’t promise you that everything will go right in the end. But you will be safe, no matter what.” He promised. Luckily, the wounds were on her arms and not near the baby. Hanni and Will made sure of that. She felt sick and it wasn’t because of her pregnancy. Why would Will do that? What was his goal? He lied to her, except he really didn’t. She was okay, physically but mentally she was not. Did they drown?
A million questions ran through her head, none that she had a reasonable answer to. She walked into the house and sighed. Anywhere she looked, she thought of them and what the hell happened. She didn’t have her phone on her or anything. She walked out of the house and to the cop car. She remembers them stealing it and thought it wouldn’t be best to drive it. Hannibal was still a wanted man. She began walking away from the house, praying that nobody would see her. She began the walk down the road away from the house. Tears streamed down her face as she came to the worst conclusion. Will and Hannibal were dead. She didn’t think that Will survived that given the wounds he had. Hannibal, maybe but even then.
It would be months later that she was back at her and Will’s house with the many dogs they collected over the years. She was now 7 months pregnant and she lived alone. Occasionally, Alana would come visit. Y/N tried her best to forget the events that happened 5 months ago but it was hard. She didn’t sleep in the bed anymore. She just couldn’t, not without Will. She barely went in there. The dogs missed Will as well, she could tell. When she opened the bedroom door the cold air hit her. She hadn’t been here in months. The bed was still made as they left it that very morning before the fall. Pictures of them littered the bedroom which made her tear up. She walked up to one of the pictures and sighed. Will was such a happier man before all this happened. Hannibal, Jack, The FBI. She missed that life.
But it was no longer and hadn’t been in a long time. She walked over to Will’s closet. She opened it and saw his clothes. She looked through them before grabbing a shirt. She brought it up to her face and sniffed it. It smelled like him, and god did she miss that smell. She sat on the bed and held it up to her face. The scent of him entering her nose. She started sobbing into the shirt, not being able to control herself. She did this for the next 2 minutes before she heard a knock at the door. She looked up from the shirt and got off the bed. She sat the shirt on the bed and wiped the tears from her face. She tried to make it look like she hadn’t been crying.
She walked to the door as the dogs went crazy. She sighed and opened the door. Her eyes widened and her heart stopped. Will and Hannibal. They gave her small smiles but she couldn’t move. She didn’t believe what she was seeing. They looked the same, I mean it had only been 5 months but they looked good. When it finally clicked in her head that they were there and real she started sobbing. Will went in and hugged her. She sobbed on his chest as Hannibal watched the two with a smile. “You were dead.” She sobbed. Will shook his head, “No, I wasn’t. We survived.” She pulled away and looked up at him. He looked down at her with awe in his eyes. She reached up to grab his face but ended up slapping him.
“Why did you do that?” She asked, hurt lacing her voice. “Why didn’t you contact me?” She sobbed. Hannibal and Will felt guilt lace through them. “We didn’t want the police finding us.” Will said. “Why’d you throw yourselves off a fucking cliff?” He sighed and shrugged. “I told you that I couldn’t promise that everything would work out but I did say that you would be okay and you are.” He said. “No I’m not. What were you gonna leave me to raise our baby alone?” She yelled. He shook his head, “No, of course not we planned this out. I’ll be here for our baby and you.” “So will I.” Hannibal said. She looked over at the man.
She missed him as well but wanted to punch him and scream at him. A part of her blames him for what has happened. “You guys planned this without me?” She asked. “We didn’t want the police to know anything. It was for the best.” Hannibal told her. She scoffed and walked in the house. The two men look at each other and follow her. Will greeted the dogs and let them tackle him to the ground. Y/N walked back into the living room and watched them play with the dogs. She felt relief knowing that they were safe but she was still so mad at them.
Will stood up from the dogs and noticed that she wasn’t wearing her ring. “Where’s your ring?” He asked her. “It’s in the bedroom. I thought you were dead so I put it in there with everything else.” “Everything else?” “The memories Will. The day that you decided to fall off a fucking cliff and leave me.” She yelled. He understood her anger as did Hannibal. “I’m sorry baby.” She shook her head. “Yeah I bet.” “I’m here. We are here and will be spending the rest of our lives making it up to you.” He said. Hannibal agreed with him.
She sighed and looked at them. No matter how mad she was, she still loved them with all her heart. “Well what are you waiting for? Get over here so we can hug and this time don’t push me.” She warns Will, making him laugh. They walked over to her and hugged her. She sighed and drowned in their scent. After what felt like seconds but was minutes, they pulled away. They looked down at her stomach that was bigger than it was before.
“It’s a girl.” She told them. Will smiled with tears in his eyes. Hannibal kissed the man’s head as they looked at the woman. “Wow.” Will whispered. Y/N couldn’t help herself and she kissed him. He immediately kissed back and they fell into the kiss. It felt good to be kissing him again. She never thought she’d get the chance. They pulled away when they needed air. She looked at Hannibal and did the same. He smiled into the kiss and pulled her closer. They pulled away and she sighed, happily. Her two boys were back and better than ever.

Spencers attention was pulled from his book by the sound a of a knock at the door. Wondering who it was- Spencer hoisted himself from his comfortable spot on the large leather couch to answer the door.
“creakkk”
as the light of the hallway bled into the much more dimly lit apartment, a man in sweatpants, a white shirt that read “bad-ass baker” is a rainbow font (u know the meme font im talking abt), and an apron with bits of flower and egg splattered over it.
“hi im so sorry spencer- but i really need some vanilla extract- im on my last batch of cookies and i ran out. I would ask if it wasn’t super necessary but since i had to close my bakery because its under renovations right now, so to make money i’ve been doing orders and making them from home and i need to get these cookies done tonight im so sorry-“
“i have vanilla..”
spencer cut off his neighbors rambling, silently inviting him inside while he fetched the vanilla.
“thank you so much by the way, i can make you something as thanks!”
y/n stood awkwardly behind the couch, eyes surveying the room. spencers back was to the common area, his arm outstretched to reach the top shelf of the kitchen cabinet. Spencers body language was comfortable, as he and y/n had been friends since he moved in 2 years ago, and he knew the baker well. spencer knew him as the neighbor with silly shirts and a bakery, and the neighbor that gave him the extras that didnt get sold at the end of the day in little plastic take out containers.
“Oh no its okay the leftovers from your bakery are thanks enough”
spencer said with a chuckle, and y/n laughed too. And just as spencer was walking over both y/n and his phones dinged from the pocket of y/ns apron and the coffee table where spencer had left it when he got the door. Y/n pulled out his phone, seeing a text from the landlord. As y/n read his face fell, getting the attention of spencer and causing him to ask;
“What? Is something wrong?”
“check your texts- Larry sent something about how we cant leave our apartments..”
The look on spencers face was one of confusion, and he grew even more confused when he read the text detailing that no one was to leave their apartment- at any cost because of a possible gas leak, meaning they had to send people to check in the morning- but until then Larry didn’t want to risk it.
“soooooo.. what do i do know?”
y/n looked to spencer for guidance, wondering what to do. spencer didn’t quite know either, but being the rule follower he is he decided the best course of action was for y/n to stay. He also knew the statistics of gas leaks and how dangerous they could be- so he wasn’t taking any chances.
“well, i dont know how safe it is to be in the hallways right now, its probably best if you stay here until morning, or at least for a couple hours until Larry can get someone in here to check it out..”
now if this was most anyone else y/n would’ve just declined and held his breath while he walked the 10 feet to his door down the hall, but this was spencer. And much to no ones surprise, y/n had been crushing on the FBI agent from afar for 6 months now. He was in love with his style, his apartment (from what he’d seen), his face, his hair. Y/n had a tendency to romanticize things, just ask his friends, and this was the perfect opportunity. So when spencer proposed he stated over night just to be safe, y/n agreed almost immediately.
“ya i should probably stay the night, just to be safe you know? And by the way, if im staying over night do you mind if i put my apron in your kitchen? i dont wanna get flour on your couch…”
spencer chuckled and nodded, using his chin to point towards the kitchen where y/n could leave his dirtied apron. After y/n left his apron splayed out on the counter, abandoned spencer chuckled at his shirt, which was now visible. When y/n noticed spencers laughs he looked at him confused, following his line of sight, and he was met with his shirt.
“oh ya- my shirt? i got it as a joke gift from a friend- and i couldn’t help myself”
they both chuckled at this while y/n moved across the room to join spencer where he had taken his spot on the large leather couch back. Y/n plopped down next to spencers, sitting as far away from him as he could without it it being awkward- or at least more awkward than it already was. because little did Y/n know but spencer had been simultaneously admiring y/n from across the hall. And when y/n suggested they watch a show spencer took the opportunity to do away with the awkward silence, suggesting Doctor Who. y/n almost immediately agreed, taking the remote from the coffee table and handing it to spencer to pull up the show.
Once the show had started, the lights of the TV screen illuminated the room while spencer pulled a blanket out of a basket and spread it out over both y/n and himself. And unconsciously y/n scooted closer to spencer, hoping for more warmth from the soft throw. Or maybe more warmth from spencer, who knows..
After a couple episodes, y/n eyes were beginning droop as he had been up since 5 am, baking. Spencer- the ever profiler- noticed this. But despite the fact that y/ns blinks were gradually gaining length each time- he kept shifting a little bit, trying to get comfortable. And now if it had been a couple hours ago when y/n knocked on the door then spencer would’ve never done it, not in a million, billion years. But now they had been talking and watching their show for at least 2 1/2 hours now, spencer giving facts and corrections, y/n giving opinions, for the pair to then debate upon. And spencer felt confident enough to invite y/n to lean on him.
“ you know, if your tired.. then i dont mind if you wanna lay on me- you must be tired…”
“ya- how did you know..?”
Y/n’s voice was that of someone who was already half asleep, the constant sound of the tv lulling him to sleep before spencer could even answer. But spencer didnt mind- he loved admiring y/n, his face so incredibly peaceful. And he thought to himself, ‘the cookies can wait till morning’, before soon doxing off himself.
The End

This case was a rough one for you, it's not uncommon that a case would get an agent a little more than normal, especially when it held a personal tie to their lives or past. For you, it was poor girls who'd lost their lives just for being who they were. And by a "friend" none the less was heartbreaking. Reminding you of the time where you were almost one of those girls but thankfully you had been taught to defend yourself at your FBI academy.
The blank stare you held the entire plane ride told Emily one thing. You needed her. You needed to feel, to be pulled from the memories of the past to the present. And luckily, Emily knew just what she needed to do for you. Unfortunately , this wasn't either of your first rodeos for needing this sort of help and support. And you'd develop a code to show consent. So it was to no surprise that when Emily asked you if you wanted to "reset" that you nodded silently and made your way to the car.
After your silent drive with your girlfriend you immediately got out of the car and made your way inside to your bedroom. Emily knowing you needed space pottered around shutting the house up and preparing for what was to come. When she made her way to the room you were stripped bare, much like your emotions, on your knees for her. She loves to make you sit pretty for your mommy, head down with your hands on your knees while she stalked around the room in heels. A clear display of dominance.
"What do you need sweetheart?" She held her authoritative tone to show you she expected an answer. "Mommy to make it better" you whimpered still not moving from where you were stationed. "Well then why don't you be a good little slut and fucking earn my help" Emily growled moving to out a head in your heat and tugging it, causing you to yelp out but follow her lead. "Oh don't whine! You know you love it, a little pain slut is all you are."
Next thing you knew you were being pushed onto the bed and your lover straddling your thigh. "Flex" she demanded before starting to grind her hips downwards to seek friction. I'm a constant to her degrading words her smooth hands were constantly touching your skin. It didn't matter if it was your pretty tits or your arms the touch remains light and gentle. "Oh you are a good slut for mommy, letting mommy use your pretty body for my pleasure. Isn't that right my sweet girl?" She mewled as her hips began to lose their rhythm. Knowing she was close you sat up to latch on to her rose bud and sucked harshly. Exactly how she liked, causing her to cum hard. Like a mindless doll you allowed Emily to work her way through the first orgasm of the night, happy to serve. Emily made quick work of shredding any remaining barriers preventing you from being skin to skin.
The raven haired woman shifted to her knees before licking where she'd drenched your thigh, bitting the silky smooth skin just the right amount to draw some blood. "Mommy wants to play with her doll now baby, can you be a good girl for me?" She murmured in between soothing the bit and pressing open mouthed kisses to each thigh. "Yes mommy" you whined  before Emily took a bold swipe of your soaking slit. "Oh! Mmm" you mewled giving Emily all the encouragement she needed to lap at your pussy like a starving woman.
"Let me hear those pretty moans sweet girl. Moan for mommy. I want to hear those pretty noises when you cum for me" Emily mumbled into your cunt, the vibrations sending you over the edge and rewarding her efforts as you mewled in pleasure. Only when she was sure she'd got all her reward did she pull away from your core, chin glistening in your arousal and cum mixed together. "Check in baby" she whispered coming to press sweet kisses all across your chest, up your neck, to your cheek, eyes and nose before your plump lips.
"Emerald" you panted out. Laying beneath her with your pupils blown wide and a beautiful flush over your neck and there swells of your breasts. "Greedy whore tonight" she mused before trailing her fingers south of your body to your sensitive clit. "Mommy!" You whimpered as she made contact. "Oh hush, you'll take what mommy gives you, gosh you're practically a bitch in heat with all this filth down here. A whore for your co-worker, doesn't that make you feel ashamed dirty girl" Emily teased you while her fingers trailed your folds before slamming into your awaiting hole.
The shame only aided the bubble of arousal to grow in your stomach as your love hit the right spot inside your spongy walls with each stroke. Effortlessly she had you close to the edge within minutes and begging for her to let you cum. "Such a fucking whore" she mumbled with a roll of her eyes but never slowing her pace, "be a good cumslut and cum now bitch!" Emily growled her left hand digging into your hips hard enough to leave bruises for days.
"Shh darling, you did so good my love, so good. One more okay one more" she murmured over and over as you rode the pleasurable waves. "No mommy! Can't do more please" you cried well and truly on your way to where you needed to be mentally. You knew your safe word and when to use it which is why Emily manhandled your body to be on top of her own. "Such a slut. Move your fucking ass!" She grumbled smacking your thigh which caused you to adjust into the position she wanted. You couldn't help but sigh as you felt the warmth radiating from her core. "Mommy" you mewled softly as you slowly began to rock your hips against hers.
To be gracious, Emily let you have a few minutes of pathetically rutting against her before she changed the position muttering that you were no more than a useless slut who couldn't even do something so simple. From there on Emily took control of the pace and made sure you could feel everything. "Lavender!" You sobbed through gasps causing everything to halt. "Okay sweet girl, all done, no more. My good girl."
Nothing else mattered to Emily Prentiss apart from you in this moment. She had to make sure you were okay. Instinctively, she moved to cuddle you up into her bare chest and rub your back as you sobbed. Your body shook for minutes until you managed to gain a bit of control. "Mommy?" You muttered into her skin, "I'm sorry." Those two words single handedly broke her heart, "oh sweet girl, you have nothing to apologise for, mommy is so proud of her girl. You did so well for me darling, my pretty girl I couldn't be more proud or in love with you. Mommy is here okay?"
Some time passed before Emily attempted to gently shift away from you, "mommy needs to clean her precious girl up and then we can get into bed and snuggle okay baby?" You nodded in understanding and tried to hide the whimpers when the cool wash cloth hit your over sensitive folds. "All done my girl" Emily murmured quickly ridding herself of the cloth and joining you in the warm bed. "Thank you Emi" you murmured when she gathered you in her arms again. "Always baby, no matter what you need." And that was how it would always be, no matter what you needed Emily would move heaven and earth to give it to you.

Daryl x reader - our past lives bleed into the preset
Tumblr media
Part 2:
You turned to Rick and Michonne.
“Can we get these guys showered, some new clothes and some food?”
They nodded, and you turned to the BAU team, giving them a small smile.
“Follow us.”
You trailed behind Rick and Michonne, Carol, Daryl and AJ not that far behind you and the BAU behind them.
You stopped outside your house, and gestured to it and the house next to it.
“You guys can split up, use these two to shower and all, Michonne is going to find some spare clothes for everybody and Rick is going to get some food brought the church.”
“Can we talk?” Emily asked.
You turned around, looking at them all.
“Yeah, afterwards we can.”
“Hey (Y/N)? Jesus is asking for you, something about some plans for Hilltop he wants to run over? He’s on the radio.” Rosita said.
You turned to her, nodding your head.
“Yeah I know what plans he’s on about. Can somebody take Negan his lunch?”
“I’ll do it.” Aaron said.
You held your arms around to Carol and she handed you AJ, and you placed him on the ground next to you.
Crouching down, you smiled at him.
“Where do you want to go buddy?”
“Can I stay with Daryl?”
You nodded, letting him wonder off to hold Daryl’s hand, and you walked over to your husband.
“I’ll come find you after.”
“Be at the church.”
You nodded, and you jogged after Rosita to deal with what you needed to handle.
You were gone for maybe an hour or so, having other stuff to do as well and you finally made your way over to the church where everybody else was stood.
Making your way inside, you walked over to Rick.
“Can we trust them?” He whispered.
“Yeah, I trusted them with my life before all of this.”
“Do you still trust them?” Michonne asked.
You glanced over at the group who were anxiously watching you, then turned back to your friends.
“Yes.”
They nodded their heads, and you all walked over.
Daryl had passed AJ to Carol so she could put him to bed, and you both sat next to each other watching as Rick and Michonne interrogated the group.
It lasted maybe half an hour until JJ finally spoke up.
“Would we be able to speak to (Y/N)?” She asked.
“Fine, but we stay.” Daryl said.
“That’s fine, we just wanted to talk.” She smiled.
They all turned their attention to you, surrounded by the council, and you sat down on the bench as you looked at them.
“How did you make it?” You asked.
“We were all at a family event at the park when the notification came through on our phones, Derek was with his family and you were in a different state. Before cell reception went, we’d managed to organise a meet point with Derek and his family, but nobody could get through to you.” Reid explained.
“Yeah, I was visiting my brother, everything went to hell pretty quickly. Rick was shot just before all of this, we thought he died, turned out he didn’t.”
You gestured to Rick who was sat next to you, and then turned your attention back to the ground.
“Been with them since.”
“You’ve been here the whole time?” Hotch asked.
You shook your head.
“No, but the real question is how did you guys make it this far.”
“When we realised what was happening a lot of people panic, there was supposed to be a safe one in Atlanta, but we couldn’t get there, we set up a safe place at the FBI headquarters, stayed there for a while but we had to get out the city eventually.”
You nodded your head.
“We found a small farmhouse for a while, but it was overrun after about a year, then we just kept moving until we came across some people who took us back to the place your brother found us.” JJ said.
You nodded again, resting your arms on your knees.
You studied them all carefully, and you could tell they haven’t had much interaction with the walkers, or other people for that matter.
Most people had scars, or were covered in dirt and blood when you found them, but these guys were only a little dirty, not a single scar across them.
“We don’t have any spare houses right now, you guys can hide out here, we should have some new houses up by the end of the month. Get some rest.”
With that, you stood up and walked back to your house, dropping yourself on to the couch.
Daryl walked in not long after, sitting on the table as he looked at you resting your head on Carol’s shoulder.
“Don’t take a profiler to see he wants to speak to you.” He mumbled.
You sighed.
“I know, I just… I don’t know what to say to him…”
Daryl scoffed a little.
“Shouldn’t be that hard.”
With that he got up and you groaned in annoyance.
You know Daryl wasn’t actually angry with you, you knew he always had doubts about him being the right person for you.
After all you were a member of the FBI, in a stable relationship, expecting your partners son, and he didn’t even have a job before all this started.
“What do I do Carol?”
“You’ll have to speak to him at some point.”
You groaned again and sat up, pushing yourself up from the couch.
“I’ll go talk to Daryl first.”
Making your way to the bedroom, you got changed and crawled under the covers, placing your hand on the side of his face.
Daryl looked at you, and he closed his eyes again.
“I’m going to be honest with him, I need him to know that what we had before all of this we can’t have that again…”
This made him open his eyes again.
“Why? I thought you wanted to find him and he with him.”
You sighed.
“I did yeah, at first. Then time went on, I realised the likelihood of him or any of them being alive was smaller each day. Then I had AJ, then you were every step of the way. I fell in love with you.”
You leant forward, brushing your lips against his before pulling away.
“I love you, and I married you.”
Daryl opened his eyes again.
“Say it again.”
You smiled brightly, brushing your knuckles against his cheek.
“I love you Daryl..” you whispered.
You leant forward to kiss him again, and he wrapped an arm over your waist, placing his hand on your back as he leant forward.
He pulled away, resting his forehead on yours.
“I love you so much…”
He laughed a little.
“Go to sleep.”
“Come on Daryl, say it!” You whined slightly.
“No.”
“Daryl!”
You huffed a little bit, and went to move, and he tightened his hold around you, pulling you back into his chest.
You placed your hands on his, turning around to tuck your head under his chin, closing your eyes.
You slept until the early morning light filtered through the curtains, and you got up to find Daryl getting ready for the day.
He was sat on the bed, and you sat behind him, resting your head on his back, running a finger along the scars on his skin.
“Where you going?”
“AJ wants to go help build houses.”
You laughed a little bit.
“Course he does. Are you taking him?”
Daryl hummed a little bit, and you let him leant back against your chest.
“Alright, I’ll come find you guys soon.”
He turned his head so he could kiss you before getting up, grabbing his shirt as he pulled it on then grabbed his jacket.
You got ready for the day and made your way outside, heading over to the gate to speak to Eugine.
“We got some movement nearby, I count only a couple walkers.”
You nodded your head, placing a hand on the hilt of your sword.
“Go find Aaron or Gabriel, we’ll go out and clear them. Check the traps while we’re out there.”
He jogged away and you stood there waiting, listening to the sounds of the walkers outside the gate.
“(Y/N)!”
You turned around, looking as Rossi, Garcia and Reid came over.
“Hey, what’s up?”
“Are you going out? Is that safe?” Garcia frowned.
“We got some walkers outside the gate, gonna clear them.”
“You aren’t going to just let them pass?” Rossi asked.
You shook your head.
“We’ve got people and coming most days, we need the gate cleared, and if we leave them they could pile up and we don’t need that again.”
“Again?” Reid asked.
“A while back we had a massive horde pile up, they knocked down the wall and got in, we lost a lot of good people that day.”
You gestured for them to follow you, and you showed them the names on the wall.
“Everybody we lost.”
“That’s a lot of names…” Garica whispered.
“Yeah..”
You turned back to the gate, finding Aaron and Gabriel there waiting for you.
“Look, I’ll be back soon. There’s a lookout spot by the gate, Eugine will show you it.”
You jogged away, leaving the safety of the community to deal with the walkers nearby.
You had to dispose of the bodies as well which took some time, but eventually you made your way back inside.
Putting your sword away, you made your way to the far side of the community.
Everybody was there, either helping or just watching as the houses were being built, and you dropped yourself between JJ and Emily.
“Mama!”
You felt a pair of arms wrap around your neck and AJ climb on to your back, and you smiled softly while Garcia, Reid, Emily, JJ looked at you in shock.
“Hey sweetheart, come here.”
You held your arm out and he sat in your lap.
“I want you to meet some friends of mine, from the old world. This is Emily, JJ, Spence, and Garcia.”
He waved at them all, moving to sit in the middle of everybody.
“Hi! I’m AJ!”
AJ rummaged through his pocket, pulling out a photo, and he looked at it, looking between them all.
“Mama tells me about you!” He beamed.
“Aw he’s so cute! I just wanna hug him!” Garcia gushed.
At the mention of a hug AJ looked at you excitedly and you nodded, letting him shove the photo back into his pocket to get up and run and Garcia.
She laughed loudly, holding him tightly.
“How old is he?” Reid asked.
“Honestly we’ve lost track of time now, but he’ll be 5 in the winter. He loves to celebrate his birthday when the first snow of the year falls.”
“He’s so cute, it’s amazing you’ve gotten through all of this with him.” Emily smiled.
“We’ve seen a few kids around, I can’t believe there’s so many. How do you guys keep them safe?” JJ asked.
“Everyone in the communities look out for each other, we protect each other. We teach them everything they need to know so they’re not scared. Teach them how to fight.”
They nodded their heads, and you could see Garica looking at your face.
“What happened?” She asked softly.
You sighed softly, bringing a hand up to touch your eye, the bandage around it, looking at the ground.
“I was stabbed, a long time ago.”
You explained the story to them of the saviours, the person who had stabbed you, what happened to the saviours and about your eye.
You did leave some things out, some things they didn’t need to know and it wasn’t your story to tell.
While you were talking AJ was moving from person to person, sitting with them all.
You finally finished talking, and Garcia was the first to come crushing you in a hug.
“That’s horrible! I can’t believe you went through all of that…” she whispered.
You smiled, placing a hand on her back.
“It’s alright, we always come out on top.”
The other three hugged you as well, and AJ happily joined the hug.
Everybody pulled away, and you sighed a little bit, looking out the house where Rossi, Hotch and Derek were helping with the building.
“Sorry guys, I need to speak to Hotch.”
You got up, and held your hand out for AJ who held it and followed you as you walked over.
“Hey Hotch, can we talk?”
He stopped what he was doing and nodded, stepping away so he could follow you to the side, and you stood just to the side.
“Is everything okay? Are you okay?” Hotch asked.
He went to reach up, and you placed your hand on his, lowering it back to the side.
You never missed the sad look on his face when you did this, and you had to look away, looking at AJ who was playing on the grass.
“I uh.. do you remember when I said I had something to tell you after I got back from my trip?”
He nodded his head.
“Yes, you said it had to be in person.”
You smiled a little.
“Yeah, it was a good thing. Hell, the best thing to ever happen really.”
You saw him furrow his brows a little bit.
“You have a right to know that AJ is your son Aaron, his name is Aaron Junior, I named him after you shortly after I gave birth because I didn’t want to forget you. He knows about you, he knows about everybody from the BAU.”
Hotch’s eyes widened a little bit.
“He’s.. he’s mine..?”
“Yeah… I don’t think it’s clicked yet to him as to who you are. But he’s yours, and I told him all about you, everything I could remember.”
“We.. you and I… we had a son…? Jack has a brother…”
Hotch rushed forward to hug you tightly, and you pat his back a few times before you moved away.
You smiled, walking over to AJ and you gestured for Hotch to crouch down next to you, and he did.
“Hey sweetheart?”
AJ looked up, setting his tennis ball on the ground.
“Do you remember when I was telling you about who your dad was?”
He nodded his head.
“I like the stories about my dad. Are you going to tell another?”
“How about you ask your dad for some stories? This is Aaron, he’s your dad buddy, and he’s really excited to meet you.”
AJ stared at Hotch, and then he got up to hug him, and Hotch held him tightly.
You smiled softly, and stood up, walking over to the BAU who were watching the scene, Jacks aunt brining him to run over to his dad and brother.
“I can’t believe you two had a baby!” Garcia squealed.
“We all knew it was a matter of time. Congratulations.” Rossi smiled.
They all congratulated you, and you smiled at them all.
“So, does this mean you and boss man will pick it back up? Carry on?” Derek asked.
You sighed a little bit, shaking your head.
“I’ll admit I was devastated when I thought I’d lost you all, I never wanted to move on, but it’s been so long since then.”
They all looked at you.
“You found somebody.” Emily noted.
You nodded, smiling a little bit.
“Yeah… he’s a pain in my ass, he’s stubborn as fuck, and rude at the best of times. But god he’s amazing though, he cares, and he always looks out for us, when food was scarce he would always make sure we were fed first. He wasn’t used to relationships so it took a while to get used to. Then when I was recovering with my eye, he spent weeks looking after AJ.”
“The guy from the other day?” JJ asked.
“Oh! The one with the one with the jacket?” Garcia grinned.
You laughed a little, nodding your head.
You looked around trying to find Daryl, and finally you did.
He was walking over with Carol who was holding a tub of biscuits, and he took one of the biscuits.
“Hey kid.”
AJ and Jack looked up, and Daryl grabbed another biscuit, giving them to the boys.
While AJ grinned and latched on to Daryl, Jack looked at his dad a little unsure.
“Get off you animal! Eat ya food!”
AJ laughed a little bit as Daryl tried to walk away.
Walking over, you swept AJ into your arms and he giggled as he ate his biscuit, and you went to walk away.
Daryl grabbed you by the back of the shirt and pulled you back.
“Hey, you forgettin’ somethin’?”
You titled your head back to look at him, and he stared into your eyes.
You turned around, leaning up to kiss his cheek before you went to walk away again.
“No dumbass.”
Daryl grabbed you again, and this time he took your hand and handed you a biscuit.
You laughed a little, and this time he let you go, trailing behind you as you walked back over to everybody.
Hotch was holding Jack, and he looked between you and Daryl.
“Guys, this is my husband. Daryl.”
“Husband?!” JJ, Garcia and Derek yelled.
“You got a problem with that? Let’s go.” Daryl snapped.
You placed a hand on his chest.
“We’ve been married for about a year now, he’s a bit of a hot head but you’ll get used to that.”
Daryl mumbled something from behind you and you looked at him, turning your attention back to your team.
“You need to tell us everything.” Emily grinned.
You laughed a little bit, nodding your head in agreement, and you got ready to follow them.
“No. Doctors office.” Daryl said.
“Oh shit yeah, I need my bandage changed. I’ll come find you guys after.”
You turned around and followed Daryl, shoulder brushing against his, and you beamed a little as you looked up at him.
He glanced down at you.
“Were you jealous?”
“Shut up…”
You laughed a little bit.
You did enjoy winding him up, it was fun, but you would never take it too far.
Daryl glanced behind him, seeing Hotch just watching the pair of you leave, and he slipped his arm around you waist to pull you into his side just to let Hotch know that you were taken.
You were married to him, and he wasn’t about to let someone take away the best thing in his life

𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: While looking for more information regarding the mysterious deaths somehow linked to Mr. Nelson and his bar, Sam and Dean find out you could be next.
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: none that I can think of? Mentions of killings, canon level case discussions.
Tumblr media
The evening came around and your shift at the bar was finally over. You quickly clocked out, grabbed your bag and just started to walk out of the door. Your mood was pretty much ruined as far as going out with Callie and Danielle tonight. It was ruined ever since Dean practically told you he couldn’t give you the time of day.
But what else could you expect from a man that ghosted you and never contacted you again. Was the summer you spent with him really that terrible? You didn’t want to bother him by asking, so you thought it would be better to just let him do his job and stay out of his hair as much as possible.
But why? Why did there have to be a case that brought him here of all places if he was destined to be so cruel?
“Y/N! Wait up!”
You sighed, knowing Danielle had caught you after all. Nonetheless, you stopped and plastered a cheerful smile on your face as you turned around, “What’s up?”
“Oh don’t tell me you forgot about our plans tonight already! We’re supposed to go out and find you a guy! Come on, we need to get over to Callie’s. We still need to check on her, and maybe she can let you borrow some of her clubbing clothes. I think she’s gonna need a distraction tonight too if she knows her boyfriend was out with someone else.” Danielle rambled.
That’s right, you had forgotten about Callie and her boyfriend, Dylan. You still hadn’t heard from her throughout the day to figure out if she was still up for going out tonight. Honestly you could understand why Danielle was concerned about your friend, you were starting to grow worried too even if you didn’t want to admit it.
As far as you knew, Callie definitely would need this night more than you did if she knew about her boyfriend. Maybe you should go at least for her sake, and it would make you forget about Dean even if it was for a moment. A brief moment but it was a diversion nonetheless.
“Yeah… why don’t we go ahead and take my car? No sense in having you waste your gas after all.” You insisted and Danielle thanked you. Then the two of you hopped into your vehicle and you drove off to Callie’s house.
“So how did it go with that FBI guy?” Danielle asked. You had forgotten she sent Dean your way that afternoon in the first place.
“Did he ask really intimidating questions? Both those guys looked like they had seen a lot. They were both kind of cute. Especially the taller one with the hair. Did he ask a lot of questions about Nelson’s wife? Do you think someone here at the bar did it? Oh what if-“
“Danielle? I need you to stop talking and breathe, please.” You said as you focused on the road.
“Honestly I don’t really feel like talking about that guy anyway.” You admitted, but then Danielle looked over at you.
“What happened? Was it that bad of an interaction?” You sighed when you realized she probably wouldn’t let it go until she had the answer she was looking for.
“You remember the guy in that sketch book I was drawing? That was him.” Danielle gasped and you swore by how loud it was, it was like she inhaled half the oxygen in the car.
“No…. that was you mystery man? How could you not want to talk about him? Seeing him after all these years? That must’ve been so good to see him again! Did he remember you? Did you two get to talk?” She bombarded you with so many questions and you wondered if you should have even opened your mouth to tell her about Dean.
“It was great at first. Yes he recognized me. No it didn’t go well. He’s focused on the case and didn’t have time to chat. I told him what I knew before I left to do my job and he can do his without my help.” You said, letting the bitterness in your voice linger in the air.
Danielle finally went quiet for a moment as she let the words sink in. Just when you started to get the idea that you weren’t interested in talking about Dean anymore, she spoke again.
“I’m sure he has some kind of reason. Agents must get really busy so you can’t exactly blame him completely. Maybe he’ll stop by the bar again when the case is over and you two can finally talk about everything.”
“I doubt it.” You scoffed, Danielle frowned before she gazed through the windshield.
“What do you think Callie will do whenever we go out tonight?” Danielle changed the subject, which you were thankful for.
“Well, I think she’d go to a bar whether she and Dylan really broke up or not. If she and Dylan actually broke up, then I think she’d be apt to flirt with more guys and have some kind of one night stand. Dylan had those trust issues, so why not spite him, right?” You hypothesized and Danielle chuckled slightly and nodded.
“Yeah that sounds like her.” She replied.
Just as the two of you made it to Callie’s apartment building, you saw that there were several cop cars with their lights shining brightly, blinking enough to give an epileptic person a seizure.
A sickening feeling swirled in your stomach, unsettling and nauseating.
“It’s not going to be Callie. I’m sure she’s fine. It’s bound to be one of her neighbors.” You said, Danielle looked stunned but she gave a hesitant nod.
When you parked the car, you and Danielle both got out and just as you started walking towards the building, one of the cops stopped you.
“I’m sorry, ladies. We’re not allowing anyone in or out at this time. This is a crime scene.” The officer told you while holding his hand up to prevent you from passing.
“Our friend lives here. We’re supposed to be heading somewhere tonight and we’re supposed to meet her in a couple of minutes.” You tried to explain.
“I’m sorry, Miss, but I can’t let you-“
“Y/N, look!” Danielle said and grabbed your arm.
You looked over at your friend and realized she was pointing somewhere. When you followed the direction, your eyes widened when your gaze landed on an all too familiar figure being put into a body bag.
“No…” You muttered.
It was Callie inside the bag and she was being zipped up and placed into the Medical Examiner’s vehicle.
This couldn’t be happening. Callie was just alive two days ago! It couldn’t be true, Callie couldn’t be gone. How did this happen? When did it happen? Why didn’t anyone find Callie sooner?!
So many questions were swirling through your mind but the sound of Danielle’s sobs brought you back to reality.
“I’m sorry, ladies, but the two of you really shouldn’t be here.” The officer said and you let out a shakey breath.
“Have you ID’d her yet?” You asked.
“No. Was this your friend?” He asked.
“Yes… her name was Callie Jordan. We worked together.” You informed, trying to be calm about it and you looked over at Danielle who’s eyes were already reddening with the tears streaming down her face.
“Come on, Danielle. Let’s get out of here.” You said and you put your hands on her arms to guide her away from the area.
As the two of you were walking, you saw a familiar black car park. The doors swung open and you locked eyes with the familiar FBI Agent that had his hands tied too much to even speak with you more than five minutes.
Dean and his partner started talking to one another and the taller one nodded before he walked off to the scene. Dean began strolling toward your direction and your insides churned even more, not exactly wanting the interaction right now.
“Agent.” You said shortly.
“Are you two alright? What happened out there?” Dean asked you, and you could tell there was sincere concern. You couldn’t imagine why it was there, even if you could you were too bitter from earlier that day to care.
“No, we aren’t alright. Our friend is dead and we don’t have any answers because the cop wouldn’t even let us in.” You said.
“When was the last time you talked to your friend?” Dean asked and you scoffed.
“Really? You’re gonna question the two of us now?” You asked coldly.
“Why don’t you and your little partner investigate Callie’s body first and find out what the hell happened to her before you start bombarding us with questions, huh? Focus on your damned job since that’s the focus.” You seethed and you saw Dean’s jaw tighten, nearly at a loss for words.
“Two days ago… But Dylan… h-her boyfriend may have talked to her sooner than that.” Danielle interrupted, gently squeezing your arm to try and get you to calm down. Asking questions were a part of the job and he needed cooperation.
“Thank you, Ma’am… my partner and I will try and get answers for the both of you as soon as possible.” Dean said, clearing his throat before he walked off to the crime scene.
You watched him walk away and he didn’t even look back at you. Maybe going to the bar was a better idea than you thought.
“Do you want to stay with Chris tonight? I can drop you off at his house.” You said and Danielle shook her head.
“Could I stay with you tonight instead? That way I know you’ll at least make it to your next shift at work and all?” Danielle said and tried her best to laugh but it came out as yet another sob.
You sighed softly, not sure how staying with you would help her cope. You hoped her boyfriend would help her more with that. But you didn’t exactly want to say no when she was this vulnerable.
“At least let the guy know where you’ll be. Yeah you can crash at my place tonight.” You insisted as the two of you got back to the car and you two started the ride back to your house, deciding to leave Danielle’s car at work. You could always just pick it up tomorrow.
Tumblr media
Dean knew he deserved that kind of reaction from you. After all, the afternoon wasn’t exactly the greatest reunion he could have thought of. But he had to be realistic about this case, as well as his life as a hunter. He wouldn’t get attached to you, because he couldn’t handle the guilt of letting something happen to you. Not like Lisa or Jo.
It was out of the cards and he just hoped one day you’d understand.
“What did you find out?” Dean asked as he looked at the paramedics taking the body in the M.E vehicle.
“Same as Mr. Nelson’s wife. Some sort of horrific animal attack. But there was no evidence of an animal in the house, none of the victim’s neighbors saw or heard an animal in the building. No one even heard the victim scream.” Sam explained with a frown.
“What about you?” He asked Dean, just for the older brother to let out a sigh.
“Well, Y/N’s friend was more cooperative. Apparently the victim’s name was Callie. The last they heard from her was two days ago. But apparently she had a boyfriend. Y/N’s friend implied he may have had a conversation sooner than that.” Dean spoke.
“The friend said?” Sam arched a brow, “You must’ve royally messed up at the bar.”
“We’re here on a job, alright? Not to reconnect and get Y/N killed. And I think she got the picture.” Dean said, although he grew quieter at the last sentence.
Sam picked up on the shift in his brother’s tone as they walked back into the Impala. He knew how stubborn Dean was, but he wished he knew why Dean seemed to refuse to allow himself the chance to be happy. It was almost like Dean thought his own happiness was a form of blasphemy, and Sam wished he knew how to change that sort of mindset.
“You don’t know if she’ll get herself killed. Lisa’s not dead.” Sam reminded his brother and Dean shot him a glare.
“No but she could have been and it would have been my faul- why are we even talking about this? Can we just focus on the case? We need to find out where Callie’s boyfriend is and talk to him.” Dean said and opened up the car door.
Sam let out an irritated grunt at his brother’s difficult behavior, but he got into the car just for the radio to start playing the same several songs on the cassette that got old after a while. He still didn’t get how Dean could listen to the same thing over and over, and he probably wouldn’t ever get it.
“Do you happen to know anything else about Dylan? Where we can find him?” Sam questioned.
“No. I kind of had the feeling I should get out of there before things got out of hand. Y/N wasn’t exactly thrilled of my presence and their friend was just murdered. I was hoping you had some kind of info so we could kind of work around them.” Dean sighed.
Sam sighed a little, hoping that Dean knew that if this case got any worse, he would have to face you eventually. After all, he couldn't avoid you forever now that he was in the same town as you were.
"We're gonna have to do some digging. Maybe we can go to the station after we go to the M.E's office. Or maybe we can split again and see what we can find on Callie's phone. Maybe she still had his social media on her phone." Sam suggested.
"Great. You take the Doc, I'll take a look at her belongings." Dean volunteered, pawning the disgusting stuff onto his younger brother, which only made Sam roll his eyes. He shouldn't have expected a different response.
After the brothers went their separate ways, Dean found himself at the Sheriff's office and he was able to take a look at the deceased's belongings. He had Callie's phone and he was looking for any insight of her boyfriend through the phone.
"Too many of these damned apps..." Dean mumbled as he looked at Snapchat where he managed to get a last name for this Dylan guy. Apparently his name was Dylan Bentley, and from what Dean could see, he was clearly not that committed to Callie.
Apparently Dylan had several different girls that he was following on Instagram, and who knew if he was messaging them or not. So, Dean went to Callie's messages and he found that there was an argument that didn't end very well. Dylan evidently didn't trust that Callie was staying loyal and he seemed to think you and Danielle were bad influences, and Callie would call him out on all of the girls he was following. Seemed like Callie wasn't the girl to take bullshit, but because the conversation on the phone stopped, Dean wondered if they had an in-person confrontation before Callie's death.
Either way, it was ridiculous relationship drama that Dean figured was enough to know that he and Sam needed to talk to Dylan and see if he was in any way involved with his girlfriend, or former girlfriend's, murder. Preferably as soon as possible. But judging by how late it was, he doubted that Dylan would be cooperative.
"Have you found anything interesting, Agent?" Dean heard the Sheriff ask and he glanced over.
"I believe I have. Do you know where I could find a Dylan Bentley?" Dean asked as he set the phone back down in the evidence pile.
"Oh, Dylan? Well if he's working tonight, you may be able to find him at 7-Eleven. I'm not sure when his shift ends though." He informed.
"7-Eleven. Got it. Thanks, Sheriff." Dean nodded and started walking out of the door. Then he pulled out his phone and started to call Sam.
"Dean? What did you find?" Sam asked on the other line while Dean was walking to the car again.
"Well, found out that Y/N's little friend was right. Dylan is someone we need to talk to like ASAP. Found out that he had some trust issues with Callie, but he wasn't exactly the most loyal of boyfriend's either. Must've been pretty toxic." Dean said.
"You think toxicity could lead to murder?" Sam asked and Dean shrugged to himself.
"In this day in age, who knows. But I think it's worth looking into. I'm heading to 7-Eleven now to see if Dylan's working tonight. What about you? Did you find anything useful?"
"Well, from what I can tell it's definitely a werewolf. Heart's gone and everything just like Mrs. Nelson." Sam said and Dean let out a hum.
"Do you think there could be some kind of connection?" Dean questioned.
"I dunno, Dean. I mean the only think connecting them is Nelson but I doubt Nelson had anything to do with their deaths. We even did the tests when we talked to him when we interviewed him about his wife, remember? He's not the werewolf."
"Still, you had Nelson's wife and someone that worked for him and now both of them are dead. That seems really weird to me."
"As weird as it is, Dylan may be the only lead we have if he's working tonight. Otherwise we may have to see if Nelson had connections with anybody or if there's been any other suspicious activity at the bar up until this point." Sam urged, and Dean knew that would mean he may have to talk to you again if you'd be willing to even be in the same room with him.
"Let me go hit the gas station first and see where that can get us first before we talk to Danielle and Y/N."
"Hey, why don't you come and pick me up and we can talk to Dylan? I'm done here anyway and I think I've got all I need from here." Sam spoke.
"Sure thing. See you in ten."
Sure enough, ten to fifteen minutes later both of the brothers were back in the car once more and they were on the road to the gas station to have a little chat with Callie's ex boyfriend. The two of them hopped out of the car and made their way inside.
Behind the counter, Dean saw a guy that was just barely in his thirties sitting on a stool on his phone. He scoffed to himself. Your friend dated a guy like this? He hoped that a guy like this wouldn’t end up being your type one day.
“Excuse me. Do you know where we could find Dylan Bentley?” Dean asked.
The man looked up and when he did, Dean got a better view of the nametag just as the man spoke up.
“That’s me. Is there something I can help you with?”
As if on cue, both Sam and Dean pulled out their FBI badges, “We need to talk to you about your girlfriend, Callie.”
“Callie? Uh… alright? Is everything okay?” Dylan asked as he put his phone in his pocket.
Dean wondered if the guy was feigning some sort of ignorance. Surely he had to know something was up with his girlfriend, right? Or ex-girlfriend he supposed he should say.
“Actually, sir, your girlfriend is dead. She was found this evening.” Dean said.
Dylan went wide-eyed with shock.
“What do you mean dead? I just talked to her a couple days ago.” Dylan said.
Sam and Dean both looked at each other, each of them wondering if Dylan would be a useful witness or not. But either way, both of them began their routine questioning. Although in the middle of questioning, Sam got a call.
When Sam walked away, Dean continued to talk to Dylan.
“So, Dylan… do you know of any enemies Callie could have had? Anyone that wanted to harm her in any way?” He asked and Dylan shook his head.
“You don’t exactly seem to broken up about her death. What happened between you two?” Dean continued, pretending like he didn’t know about the argument. Dylan sighed a little.
“Callie and I were rocky. Both of us had trust issues with each other and I knew it was only a matter of time before she and I would come to an end. I don’t think she really had any enemies, but I know she was outspoken. Maybe she offended some kind of customer and didn’t realize it.” Dylan said.
“Has she ever talked about troublesome customers before?” Dean continued.
“Well… there was this one night about a week and a half ago or so. Maybe two weeks ago. She and I wear catching up and ranting about our weeks and how shitty they were. The normal stuff. Then she started talking about these guys that came in. They wanted to talk to Nelson, the owner, but he wasn’t in the bar that day. They sat at the bar table and waited and waited, made Callie pretty uncomfortable.” Dylan began.
“And? What happened?”
“Well, Nelson finally showed up and they went to the back office to talk. Callie said the next thing they knew, there was some kind of fight and security had to break it up. The last thing she remembered them saying was that they’d destroyed everything he worked for, starting from the bottom up. From what Callie described, they seemed gruff looking, like they weren’t afraid to tear someone limb from limb if they had to. Maybe killing off the staff members first is what one of the guys meant by going from the bottom up.” Dylan spoke.
An uneasy feeling washed over Dean, but he by the time he started to think, Sam came back from the phone call.
“That was the Sheriff. One of the hostesses at the bar was found dead. Another connection to Nelson.” Sam said and that made the feeling in Dean’s stomach worsen.
“Thanks for your help, Dylan. Make sure to get home safe and lock your doors.” Dean spoke and both of the brothers walked out of the gas station.
“We need to get to Y/N and her friend and fast.” Sam said the words Dean was already thinking.
“A pack of werewolves are after Nelson’s business. We may need to ask around and see if Nelson had any enemies. Maybe he was a hunter and this was how he thought he was going to retire.” Dean hypothesized while his brother nodded.
“Maybe he ticked off a pack some years ago and now they’re finally getting their revenge when Nelson least expects it. Either way, they’re going after the hosts and bartenders first before they go for kitchen staff judging from their pattern. We need to get to them now.”
With that, Dean pressed harder on the gas and just hoped that he wouldn’t be too late.
Tumblr media
Danielle finally went to sleep in your guest bedroom, but you decided to stay up. It’s not like you’d be able to sleep that night anyway even if you tried. Not with everything that’s happened that day. A part of you felt like this was some really messed up nightmare and you just wanted to wake up from it.
Unfortunately, though, this was your reality. The guy that still had a small piece of your heart stomped on it, and one of your coworkers- your friend- was horrifically killed.
So no… a decent night’s sleep was out of the cards.
You still wanted to know what could have done something like this? What if the police would end up being wrong? Maybe it was some kind of serial killer that was making it look like some kind of animal attack. Although, you couldn’t understand why a serial killer would need to take the hearts from their victims. Maybe it would be some sort of sick trophy?
Morbid…
You shook your head as you tried not to think about it too much. It was too brutal and gruesome for your liking so you were truly trying your best not to linger on it so much.
Instead, you broke put your sketchbook and decided to work on some drafts for a cover of a book you were commissioned to draw. She hadn’t given you a due date yet but you still liked working on the concept art early to see what the author wanted. After all, it was your job to bring their imagination to life in the most desirable way possible.
You were sitting down on the windowsill with sketchbook in hand, beside you there was a nightstand with a mug of tea. You had a DVD player across from you playing Save Me by Remy Zero, remembering the phase you had watching a show called Smallville. Tom Welling’s Clark Kent was a cutie. Why couldn’t you find a Clark?
Oh well.
As you listened to the song, you continued to draw different ideas. Then you began to outline your work when you started to hear a knock on the door.
You shrugged it off at first, thinking it was a neighbor’s door or maybe you were hearing something. But then the knock occurred again, causing you to let out a soft groan of annoyance and you set your sketchbook to the side. Then you got up and started walking to the door. You made sure to look through the peephole, being cautious since there were two people dead. After all, you didn’t exactly want to be next.
The moment you looked through the window you saw a familiar face, though it wasn’t exactly the best feeling you got when you saw this person again. A familiar guy in a cheap suit with green eyes and the short hair that sort of reminds you of some sort of hedgehog or something. Beside him there was that taller agent that must’ve been his partner. How wonderful…
Slowly, you opened the door and you saw them there.
“Agents. Don’t you know how late it is?” You asked and kept the door partially shut.
“Y/N, please? We need to talk to you. And Danielle. Do you know where she is?” Dean asked and you rolled your eyes.
“Yeah, she’s here asleep. Like any other normal person.” You retorted, trying to keep your voice down so you wouldn’t wake up your friend.
“Y/N, we need to get you out of here. Both you and Danielle and we need to get you both somewhere safe. Like now.” Dean insisted and you started getting confused.
“Uh, why? She and I are perfectly fine. It’s just a freak animal attack that’s happened twice, right?”
“Actually, we think something else might be going on.” The taller explained and you lifted a brow.
“Something else? What else could there be?”
“We uh.. we aren’t exactly at liberty to say but we have reason to believe you and your friend might be next.” Dean’t partner continued.
“Y/N? What’s going on?” You turned around when you heard Danielle’s voice form behind you so you had to think fast.
“Danielle, I think you need to go back to your boyfriend’s tonight. One of these agents will be there with you both. They think there’s something up.” You tried to explain as vaguely as possible.
“What? What do you both think is happening? Are we going to be okay?” Danielle began to ask.
“Nothing’s gonna happen to either of you. I promise. My name is Sam, I’ll take you back to your place house and watch over you. Consider it as witness protection. My partner will be watching over Y/N to make sure she’ll be alright too.” Sam continued.
Of course. Why did you have to be paired off with Dean? You didn’t need protecting. You knew how to keep your doors and windows locked, you knew not to allow anyone in the house. And you thought you could defend yourself at least enough to get away from someone or something. You definitely weren’t looking forward to the awkward silences, but who were you to argue with the FBI, right?
You watched at Dean handed his partner the keys to the car but you couldn’t help but to notice the reluctance in Dean’s face. You could tell he wasn’t looking forward to the tension either.
Danielle looked back at you with a worried expression on her features and you smiled slightly, “Don’t worry. They’re agents, I’m sure they’ve dealt with this kind of thing all the time. They know what they’re doing.”
You saw reluctance in her eyes but your friend nodded nonetheless before she walked out of the door with Sam, leaving you and Dean alone in the room. Just the two of you. By yourselves.
This was going to be a long night….

hello!
Could I maybe request a male reader x Aaron hotchner where r is a total ball of sunshine and the complete opposite of Aaron but he use to be in the army and as a result he lost his arm, so he has a prosthetic. basically, he’s meeting Aaron’s teammates for the first time and their shocked that Aaron is dating someone so sweet and are again shocked when they find out he use to be a military man? Cause he doesn’t seem like the type considering his personality? thank you :D
Hey Anon! Sorry for me taking absolutely too long to post this. You probably even forgot that you requested this.💀
AARON HOTCHNER X ex SOLIDER MALE READER
Aaron waits on the edge of the bed in deep thought while watching his boyfriend get dressed. "Aaron? Are you okay?" Y/n asks turning his body around facing his boyfriend.
"Yes. I'm just worried, but it's nothing." Aaron answers watching Y/n walk closer to him. "Is it about the dinner?" "Yes, but--" "Shhh. Don't worry about the dinner. It's nothing to stress about." Y/n says giving Aaron a light kiss on the forehead.
"But--" "No buts Aar. We have each other, so there's nothing going to be wrong at the dinner if we have each other back. So stop sitting on your ass and let's go!" Y/n cuts him off again before pulling Aaron off the bed.
"I'll go get jack!" Y/n tells him before walking out the room to go get the boy.
Aaron watches Y/n leave and takes a deep breath helping himself relax. "It's gonna be fine. We're gonna be fine." Aaron mumbles to himself before getting his keys and walks down stairs to the front door.
"Y/n! Make sure your arm is charged. You don't want it dying in the middle of dinner again." Aaron says watching Y/n come down stairs with his son in his arms. "You would never let that go." Y/n groans out rolling his eyes. "I can't it was our first date." Aaron bites back remembering how Y/n's prosthetic died right then they were gonna share their first kiss together.
"Right before I could finish the distance you pulled away like it was a mistake and I started to apologize, but you were just looking at your arm surprised. Then you look at me and say "My arm just died! What the hell!" Then we had just started at each other for a while---"
"Okay Aaron. I'm not trying to relive that humiliating moment." Y/n cuts him off with a giggle before helping jack put his shoes on.
"Everyone is ready?" Aaron asks earning a shout "yeah" from his son and a hum yes from Y/n. Aaron opens the front door letting Y/n pick up Jack and leave out the house.
Aaron looks around the house before leaving and shutting the door and locking it after him.
TIMESKIP at the restaurant.
As soon the small family reached outside the restaurant and stepped out of their car it was already an agent waiting for them. "Morgan. You didn't need to wait out here." Aaron says giving the male a small hug. "I know. I know, I just wanted to make sure you got here safe.
Jack wiggles out of Y/n's arms running to Morgan as fast as his little kid legs can carry him running into his arms hugging him. Y/n already felt out of place. Y/n watches the three of them act and his nerves begin to overcome him. Y/n wasn't scared just nervous. Derek looks over to Y/n giving him a bright smile before turning back around leading the family inside and into the restaurant.
"Found them!" Derek announces to the group who are already in their seats. All of their heads turn to greet Hotch and Jack, but with Y/n they'll give him a small smile and wave.
"Jesus..." Y/n mumbles to himself already feeling their little FBI eyes study him. "Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all." Y/n says finally deciding to act like himself shaking everyone's hand while exchanging their names. At the last agent Y/n puts his hand out smiling at them. "Hi my name is Y/n." "Penelope. Nice to meet you hun!" Penelope says with the biggest smile moving Y/n's hand out the way giving him a bone crushing hug.
The hug catches Y/n off guard a bit, but gives her a hug back with the same energy.
As everyone welcomes Y/n already treating him like family Y/n could feel someones eyes burning into his prosthetic arm. Y/n kept his prosthetic arm mostly stayed on his lap or side, but now he's flexing it showing off his "muscles." To Derek since Derek could tell Y/n was in great shape.
Y/n looks away from Derek moving his eyes to every single person on the table to figure out who the hell is staring at his arm so hard. It was Spencer. Y/n decided not to say anything only picking a fight if he voices the thoughts in his head.
Y/n begins to chat his head off with everyone. Every time he says something it would be with a smile. Y/n occasionally checks up on Aaron and Jack making sure they are comfortable and like their food. The team noticed everything about how Y/n acted his vibes were. He was such a sweet and kind person polar opposite of Aaron's cold and strict demeanor.
All the team was wondering "How the hell are these two dating." Or what Penelope is mostly thinking "How did Dark Vader and Rapunzel get together."
"Y/n, I have a personal question." Reid says catching Y/n's and the rest of the team's attention. Y/n had a burning feeling it was about his arm. A lot of people thought Y/n was spoiled and greedy for having a robotic arm. Y/n lets out a quiet sigh before saying.
"Yeah what is it?" with a smile on his face. "Why do you have a prosthetic."
"Oh well, because I lost my arm in war." Y//n answers simply knowing that he'll have to give more information. Y/n could tell everyone besides Jack and Aaron was shocked.
"What happened!" Emily asks choking on her drink a little.
"I saved some fellow soldiers. Someone had stepped on a land mine, so it was either someone take the hit or all die trying to run. I choose to the the bigger man and take it. Most would be dead or lose more than an arm, but I guess I had luck on my side that day. I got these great and cool medals for it." Y/n says still having the same smile on his face.
"But... I lost half of my stomach and some of my vision But I'm still alive and that's what it all matters."
"You don't look like and act like a military type kid." Rossi points out not trying to be rude.
"I know I get that a lot."
"Daddy! Tell us more stories!" Jack squeals happily remebering some of the kid version stories Y/n's past.
"Here we go." Aaron says with the largest smile he had in a while.
THE END

When Starling woke up, she felt a sharp pain pulsing in her neck and straightened up a little in the old, shabby leather-covered armchair. She had once again fallen asleep in her living room in an extremely unfavorable position for her spine and was still holding the whisky glass from the previous day in her right hand.
On the large screen in front of her, the news flickered at the usual time. Starling couldn't remember turning on the television. As her gaze roamed the living room - there wasn't much to see here, Starling's furnishings were minimalist, almost as if she was about to move out, or rather, as if the house wasn't really inhabited at all - she put the empty glass down on the nearby table. She listened, but couldn't hear a sound.
With a routine grip on her thigh, she made sure that she still had her service weapon on her. Then she stood up and walked quietly towards the kitchen.
"If anyone is hiding here, come out now and I won't shoot. You have my word," she said and let her eyes wander from the kitchen island to the fridge.
Nothing happened, not a ghost stirred. Starling closed her eyes with a sigh and lowered the gun. Even when she had been suspended from the FBI, she couldn't be free of the thought that she could walk into an open fire at any second. Who was she now without her job at the bureau? A lonely, doomed creature who had herself to blame for her situation. She had sacrificed everything that was important to others in life for work. She had let the FBI take over her entire being like a parasite that kept a sick body and spread unhindered. Starling was left with nothing.
Her eyes took in the bottle of wine on the kitchen counter next to the toaster. Nothing but Dr. Lecter's birthday present, she thought with a wistful smile. She wondered if he had the same exquisite bottle of wine, Château d’Yquem, from her year of birth in his cellar and thought of her when the fine drops rolled over his oddly shaped lips. She wondered how he had changed in the seven years since his escape from the cage in Memphis. Had he perhaps had surgery on his face in order to secretly disappear? And if so, where might he have gone into hiding? Perhaps she had already met him without knowing about it. Perhaps he had brushed her hand in passing like a gentle breeze.
When her phone suddenly vibrated, the hairs on her forearm stood on end. The FBI had nothing more to say to her, she had talked to Barney about everything that needed to be clarified, and Ardelia Mapp, her former roommate, had no reason to contact Starling anymore. Perhaps a food delivery man would call her to remind her to eat a meal again? Starling had hardly eaten since being thrown out of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When she thought of the triumph and the perfidious satisfaction in Krendler's eyes, who was more or less responsible for her dismissal, she almost wanted to vomit.
She took a deep breath and picked up the phone.
"Starling," she said expressionlessly and waited for a response on the other end of the line.
"Good morning, Clarice. I hope my call didn't wake you up. Your voice sounds hoarse, as if you've only been awake for a few minutes. Am I right in my assumption?"
"Dr. Lecter," Starling murmured and all tiredness vanished from her bones as if by a whip lash. It’s a dream. I must be dreaming.
"Have you already had breakfast, Clarice? Or have you tried miserably to cook yourself a scrambled egg for breakfast?" It wasn’t even close to a dream. She was wide awake, every nerve ending in her body was electrified. Hannibal Lecter sounded a touch too amused to be believable. Clarice rather suspected he was trying to disguise being aroused by her morning voice.
"How did you get my number?" she replied without responding to his charade. Unlike him, she made no secret of her suspicion.
She could tell from the tone at the other end of the line that he was smiling. In a blurred vision from the past, she could see the pink tip of his tongue parting his lips and his face twisting into an indecent grimace.
"Shouldn't you be asking where I am at this very moment?" He had lowered his voice to a steely whisper. "Wait a minute, Clarice. Want me to give you a hint?"
For a split second, Clarice was tempted to hang up the phone and put an end to his thieving joy by ringing the dial tone.
"Clarice," he said urgently, as if he had the gift of reading her mind. "Don't hang up. You'll regret it."
"Are you in my house, Dr. Lecter?" Clarice asked with all the self-control she could muster to restrain her rage. She switched off the light in the kitchen and went back into the living room, where she was greeted by the first rays of the dawning sun.
"I can feel your presence here and now, ex-FBI Agent Starling. You’re so close. You know what's even better? I can even smell you. L' Air du Temps, very seductive. When we first met, you avoided spraying yourself with a fragrance. Do you remember? My memories of that day are more vivid than ever."
Suddenly Starling could hear his unmistakably velvety voice twice, and it certainly wasn't due to the residual alcohol from last night's whisky.
Her eyes darted feverishly around the room until they lingered on a slender figure by the curtain. She felt a pang in her chest that almost robbed her of her senses. The phone slipped from her hand. She had often imagined her reunion with Dr. Lecter in her dreams; most often she had fantasized that she would meet him when he was put back behind bars. She would have visited him as an act of courtesy and asked him about his condition, told him about Buffalo Bill and much more. He would have reminded her with amusement that he had always followed the downfall of her career with great interest.
Something about his appearance was still as remarkable and mesmerizing as ever. Even at first glance, it was obvious that he was wearing a tailored suit that emphasized his defined shoulders. In the meantime, a few gray strands had mingled with his thick hair, but that didn't make him seem any less sublime. In contrary, Starling caught herself thinking that he looked better than ever.
"Hello, Clarice," he broke the silence before she could speak. Frankly, Starling was struggling with what she was going to do. His gaze pinned her to the spot, drilling into her marrow like poisoned arrows.
„You shouldn’t be here“, Starling said shaking her head in disbelieve. „They are not only observing you, Dr Lecter. Their lack of confidence in me certainly leads them to watching my neighborhood to make sure I don't make a move that gets in their way.“
„Are you worried about me?“, he asked and took a large step towards her. She didn't back away from him.
„No, I’m worried about us“, she hissed at him. „What are you doing here? Tell me. Tell me now.“
"Is it so hard to believe that I cared about you and wanted to check on your well-being? Clarice, you must have learned a thing or two about me over the years."
„Why is that, Dr Lecter?“ Starling felt her lips trembling with both fear and excitement. „Why do you like me? I need to know for good.“
„Quid pro quo?“, he said with a hint of a smile. „Isn’t it quite obvious why we’re drawn together, hm? Don’t you feel things you can hardly allow yourself to feel when I am around? And don’t you think about us in situations – practices – that almost make you dizzy with desire? I know I do. In fact, I knew I did ever since you came back to me into the dungeon after our first interrogation.“
Starling felt the blush rise to her face.
„Make an effort to answer now, Clarice. Quid pro Quo“, he whispered and took another step in her direction.
