You know what? I don’t WANT an awkward double date. I don’t WANT buck coming out and people having the ‘I know’ reaction or the ‘is it Eddie’ reaction.

You know what I do want?

I want Buck panicking over what to wear for the date. I want Buck flopping on his bed like very teenager after their first kiss all giggly and happy and touching his lips because he kissed a boy

I want Buck smiling every time he says Tommy’s name because maybe it isn’t forever and maybe he’s not even looking for forever anymore but he’s so happy and he’s so light and being with Tommy feels good

I want Tommy to keep calling him Evan, because before Buck was Buck he was Evan and Evan deserves to be happy to be treated so softly and lovingly and Evan deserves to be free.

the way buck went from looking over his shoulders worried people were watching to reaching for tommy's hand in a public space is everything to me because it might look like a small gesture to anyone on the outside but i just know buck's heart was beating a mile a minute because not only had tommy agreed to meet up with him again after that disastrous date but he had also just admitted that he was still interested and that yes he would love to be buck's plus one at the wedding and buck wants to kiss him but they're out in public and that's one thing he's not quite ready for yet but maybe he's ready for something else so he reaches out and places his hand on top of tommy's and he brushes his thumb over the back of his hand and maybe taking things slow and in his own pace isn't so scary after all

So its the @fyeahghosttrick Ghost Swap 2023 and in celebration of this great year of the remaster IIIIIIIIIII... threw Cabanela up a flight of stairs. Sorry @gippley-png, but you gave me a Cabs Angst Free Space and my brain took off for the unseen bridge of Chapter 15 - he’s gotta get from the Basement to the Super’s Office somehow [exploded, unwillingly]. It could be said that the implication is far scarier than a set reality, but I tried to fill in the gap as painfully as possible. Maybe too painfully - as the kids say, I think I may have cooked a bit too hard with this one! Nevertheless I hope you enjoy this anyway?!
