Every now and then I think about a kid/mom duo that tracked us down at PAX 6 years ago. The kid was so excited for such a short little meeting. I sent them home with a few prints and got sent a picture from their mom later that week. Our silly lil pictures made it on their desk. That some kid made room for us, our pictures, to display in their room proudly always stuck with me. It's prime real estate for heroes, bands, video games, toys. All I had was goofy oversized prints to hand out awkwardly to people who found us at con.
I think about that occasionally. I hope that kid is doing well, and just as happy in life as the memory they left me.
For the record I've never sold prints, I used to take the money the cats made from company projects and "reinvest" by making pins and prints to hand out to people who took time out of their day to find us at cons.
