First artwork I have made in a long time and first part of a project I'm working on, 'Tarot Without Humans'
This is by no means the final version of this card or propeely drawn, just a quick watercolour doodle as an exploration of it's concept...
The deck explores scenes in an abandoned future without mankind as nature and our old technologies intertwine
The project hopes to prompt thought about the non linear nature of the natural world and how this compares and sits next to the intuitive nature of tarot. Has the industrialised world interrupted both the rhythms of nature and severed us from our intuitive natures? And can tarot help us reconnect?

3 of Coins from the Sola Busca Tarot
Considered the oldest complete seventy-eight card tarot deck in existence, the Sola Busca — named for the family of Milanese nobles who owned it for some five generations — was the first to be produced using copperplate engraving. It is also the earliest known tarot deck that illustrates the Major and Minor Trumps in the way that has become the standard, with characters and objects depicting allegorical scenes. In the Renaissance era this would have been revolutionary, while, today, some of these cards may seem familiar.

When Astarion says “I prayed to all the gods. They never answered” and Wyll says “the only thing a god’s ever given me is a cold shoulder” and when Minthara says “there are no gods left for me”
if you even get it.

Meet Zombie Cat '22
Meet Zombie Cat ’22
For the past two days, in the “Proceed” and “Zombie Cat’s Short Summer Shamble” posts we’ve talked a lot about how to do yes or no Tarot readings for yourself. Today is a throwback to the original blog post where we meet Zombie Cat.
First published in April 2015, I re-post it every year to go with Zombie Cat’s summer shamble. By summer shamble I mean the annual summer special offer for my yes or…

P.S.
I am currently trying to get fruit-taur stuff drawn and out of the way before I start drawing spive stuff. I know I’ve been slow but I’ve been dealing with a couple of rough weeks and it’s hard for me to juggle school and a social life. I really appreciate you guys being patient.

Obsessed with the idea of Gortash superimposing his memory of Durge on them only to be left reeling when confronted by the smallest of changes. What do you MEAN your favorite color isn't red anymore? that you would rather walk boldly in the sun than observe from the city's dark corners? Your perfume is different, your way of laughing is different. It shouldn't be a big deal but it is, and he still treats them in all the same ways he used to treat his Durge. He tries to trigger their memory by relying on what he knows they used to like, but the information is old and the reception isn't the same. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the idea of an amnesiac Durge that is unsettled by all the intimate ways that Gortash knows them but I also can't resist the idea of Gortash being unsettled by all the ways he doesn't anymore.
It drives him mad.
