TL;DR: what i want to highlight with this comic: satoru calling suguru "geto" / suguru crossing satoru's metaphorical line and permanently severing his relationship with him. kenjaku's plan in canon will never come to fruition in this au. what happens after is up to you :)

and yes ik the trust quote is in the context of the other 2nd years! i added it bc it fit, in a way.

this got long sorry lol i started to ramble

LAST NAME - what started this all and what i hope others picked up on was gojo calling geto by his last name, not his first: geto. even after everything geto did during jjk v0, gojo still calls geto 'suguru.' he's still 'suguru' to him. i wanted a scenario in which gojo would reject his first name - reject their past and their relationship. this whole comic idea sprung out of being unsatisfied with geto and gojo's canon relationship. personally, im not the happiest with how things were written in the story and feel like the author could've done some things differently. this isn't to say i don't like or enjoy what the author has written either. i just have mixed feelings.

KENJAKU - in case it wasn't clear, the door closing on page 14 depicts geto with stitches on his forehead - aka kenjaku. what that page is trying to convey is that the moment geto killed yuuta, the future where geto's body is used to box gojo ceased to exist. in this au, kenjaku's plan that we see in the canon timeline would never and will never work. by killing yuuta, geto crossed a line and permanently severed his relationship with gojo. if gojo wins here, gojo will dispose of the body properly. the panel after shows a closed door with the memory of who suguru was. the person who suguru used to be and the best years of gojo's life etc etc. but "broken" bc it's gojo truly realizing that's not who geto is anymore + the whole "severing relationship" thing. does this make sense.

what happens after the comic ends is up to interpretation though

GETO'S PLAN - i didnt focus a lot on the specifics of how this could've happened considering geto's plan changed in this au. how it happened isnt really important, you can come up with whatever you want. what i wanted to focus on, and what i hope people managed to pick up on is the situation itself - geto killing yuuta. sorry yuuta. i'll make it up to you.

i ended it here because it felt the best place, but here's some scrapped dialogue of a few seconds after: GETO: "… It was a necessary sacrifice, Sato-" GOJO: "don't you dare call me that" basically to emphasize the first name vs last name situation

GOJO N GETO - ive always felt uhhh. nitpicky, i guess. about the specifics of everything regarding gojo and geto. ive felt unsatisfied for a variety of reasons, and this was basically an idea that sprung out (a looong time ago) of a want for gojo to be angry at and feel more.. negative emotions, i guess, toward geto. i still do genuinely enjoy their canon relationship a lot tho. i enjoy the way they’re written together and individually, i just have different/multiple feelings about the same thing :)

RIKO AND YUUTA - erm there was a scrapped panel... you can find it on my blog if you're really curious but there was a panel of geto 'remembering' riko's dead body (a distorted memory, because the blood reflects yuuta's injuries). it's not necessarily that riko and yuuta are similar, it's that geto becomes a bit like toji in the end. just like toji, geto tries to kill a young teenager for the sake of his own goals. while toji's was selfish and geto's, in his own eyes, was for the greater good, there's still the similarity of killing a child. of stealing their future for their own goals. plus the fact that gojo killed both of them in a similar way.

TRUST - yeah i know the quote is in the context of the 2nd years fighting geto. still. gojo trusted geto to a large degree, despite everything he did. so. it's going here.

PG 4-6 - geto values and cares about sorcerers so so much. again, he was fine with trying to kill yuuta for his vision and all but i dont think he wouldn't feel some level of. conflicting emotions i guess. (i am very against the idea that geto wasn't... trying to kill yuuta? i don't really get that perspective at all. it'd make all of that meaningless imo. but this isn’t about that.) ok im done.

Hello! It's me, again. Hahahaha!

So I just finished watching the 2nd season of Jujutsu Kaisen. (Shockings! I know right? I'm so late... but so what 🤣). Anyways... remember the fight between Toji and Fushiguro on episode 16? My heart broke when Toji recognized(?) Fushiguro and that little smile and "I'm glad" when he realized that Fushiguro has his mom's last name and not Zenin before ending(?) himself. The way Toji looks so peaceful after hearing that information is so heartbreaking.

Then my heart broke once again when I remember that one Jujutsu Kaisen dj that I have read last year. It's called "Megumi" and it's by Sakura Shinobu. It's so wholesome because in that dj Mama Fushiguro is alive and Toji chose to retire from the sorcerer-killing business(?) and he became as stay-at-home dad, taking care of Megumi. The dj is just so freaking wholesome, cute, and adorable!

i loved it actually!!! i loveddd it. season 1 moved a little slow for me tbh i was engaged just enough to keep watching but i really liked the first arc of the 2nd season and was disappointed when it ended. but i’m liking the rest of the season more. especially cos now i get excited when i see gojo :) his fight scene with toji was rly visually stunning i wanted to rewatch it after i finished

Strengths:as a Einherjar Pico was chosen to fight for the humans against the gods in ragnarok Goll considered him 'The Mightiest Solider' is apparently being saved for Odin The All-Father [the 2nd strongest god in Ror] superhuman strength(could easily tear through robots aliens and even bears overpowered the Uberkids 20 at a time and the uberkids are constantly stated to be genetically altered to be the peak of human potential. Hus metal hand is stronger then his flesh one and he could easily break jaws and bone with them can throw knives hard enough they go at least 25mph making him twice as strong as the world's best athletes) Superhuman durability (can walk through getting shot being impaled by BOB and could endure a corrupted BF clawing him open also lost a hand to Darnell's bombs and lost his eye to Nene and somehow powered through enough to Break both their legs and get away to warn GF and BF in time.) Hypersonic speeds (can react to bullets snipers Nene's own knives and Cassandra's attacks all while not hitting explosives or even getting shot at by others somehow dodges explosions putting reaction speeds at maybe MAYBE Mach 5) Skilled in combat (this version of Pico was raised by the Tankman crew and seeing they're all military specialists he learned a lot. Can spin guns around and fire without hitting anyone he didn't mean to or missing putting down at least 40 people and all of them were soldiers. Like his Canon self his specialies are anti-terrorism and hostage situations.) His robot eye works like the Metal Gear SOLID EYE (night vision Thermal vision and has a short range radar.) High intelligence (while IQ tests are BS his is stated to be 127 he's also got an encyclopedia level knowledge on his interests [reptiles his partner dogs weapons techno music and anime] good at telling if someone is lieing to him tricked BF and GF into making a deal with him which says if he dies they can bring him back and if gf or bf dies the other can bring them back ex. Bf dies and pico dies GF brings them back and vice versa but he also gets tiny bits of Angel and Demon powers) while he got corrupted by the pibby glitch the fnf corruption and the Monday dusk monolith infections each gave him a power boost. [Glitch made him faster and stronger the corruption gave his flesh hand retractable claws and a minor healing factor and the monolith made his metal hand the ability to merge with other metal things [monolith infected flesh clings and fuses to metal] Pico can take anything off that arm too but he likes mixing and matching weapons but if mad enough he can go fully corrupt which fuses himself with GF BF and his weapons making him a much bigger threat to everything near him.) His deal helps him out by giving him a minor time and gravity ability (can move things with his mind and can send himself to a past part of the day restarting the day with new information. He also is sprouting wings horns and a tail along with a halo tattoo. Metal hand also now can shoot lasers red,blue,and purple [red burns physical defense. Blue goes through magic defense. Purple obliterates both])

Weaknesses:his mental issues are undiagnosed (the wiki says he's obsessive might suffer from insomnia along with PTSD and schizophrenia) Very paranoid. Whether his deal or his mental issues he's very reckless and dosent seem to care about his own safety and will do things that put his life at risk. His Völundr isn't indestructible and since it's BF and GF if it breaks both partners die with it but Pico will have their souls in his body and thanks to said Völundr if he dies so do BF and GF.

CHOSO

I see Choso as the quiet submissive type of lover, he's like a puppy. <3

You and Choso met during the Shibuya Incident, You were there helping the others kill Mahito.

Because of your great ability, he grew interested in you. You were actually one of the reasons why he left Pseudo Geto's group aside fro him learning that Itadori was his brother and they tricked him into harming him.

Because of your caring personality, you were one of the closest person that Choso would always hang out aside from Yuuji.

Choso fell inlove with you because of that, this man also took about a whole year just to confess to you. He was scared of what you might think since he used to be your enemy, he thought you might've hated him because of that and you're just hanging out with him because he is yuuji's brother.

But base on what you told him when he confessed proved all of his negative thoughts wrong...

He would always tail you around, no matter you go. He would also randomly give you hugs and kisses, just so he can tell you he loves you.

Ever since you and him started dating, the two of you would be at each other's back. Protecting one another from cursed spirits, you would always protect him and he would do the same.

It was a peaceful yet amazing relationship with Choso.

GOJO SATORU

Would always try and prove that he isn't the submissive type.

You and Gojo are classmates and both graduated together and became professional jujutsu sorcerers and teachers at the jujutsu academy.

Gojo always knew how caring and kind you were and despite you both having different personalities, he fell in love with you because of that personality of yours.

That was the first time Gojo ever felt scared that someone might reject him, afterall you know all of his previous doings. You might not even trust him or agree to dating him because of that.

When he confessed, he can't believe that you said yes to dating him.

He thought he was going to be the dominant one in the relationship since he always thought you were the sweet type...but that was just his thought though...

Gojo would always make sexual jokes around you or even when you both are with the other teachers, that's just how he is. You being the kind person you are...you just let him do his thing and support him.

Though he can handle all of his missions, he would still request for you to come along with him just so you two can hang out and make fun of the cursed spirit before you kill them.

Relationship with Gojo is sexual, fun and Interesting...

TOJI FUSHIGURO

If you think you have parent instincts, this guy literally has a son and that makes him a DILF and it also makes him have daddy instincts.

He is protective of you...He doesn't want to loose you just like how he lost his family just because of his greed.

Since Toji is like a fugitive, he would rarely see you and you two are not allowed to see each other in public places...since you're still a jujutsu sorcerer and you were also given instructions to annihilate him if you ever saw him.

You met Toji when you did saw him and you were about to kill him but because of your confidence and witty banters at him when he was about to kill you, he grew to like you.

You were really interesting to him. That was the start of you and his love story...from you almost getting killed to you getting Toji Fushiguro wrapped around your finger.

Toji would always follow you secretly and if your missions ever turn dangerous he would swoop in and help you (even though you can handle it all by yourself, he was protective of you)

Despite your soft appearance you would always take control in the relationship and that's what he loves about you.

Relationship with Toji is chaotic, exciting and unique...I mean your boyfriend is a fugitive, he's always on the run...

MEGUMI FUSHIGURO

We all know megumi is a sub...no doubt about that...No matter who he dates he would always be the submissive type, like Choso.

You're a bit older than Megumi, you're a 2nd year while he was a 1st year when you both first met.

He was always quiet about his feelings, he wouldn't speak up nor tell anyone about how he feels. He is basically the complete opposite of you.

You were the first one to approach him...

It was quiet shocking when you first approached Megumi, you thought he was the stoic type but it was the complete opposite. He was fun and can make jokes, atleast to you that is...

It was always weird how Megumi would change his mood everytime he talks to you but you liked the idea cause you feel special, because of that you fell in love with him.

Like I said Megumi is quiet about his feelings, he has the same feelings for you but he wouldn't say it and would bottle it up. He is basically one of those people who is okay with being friends with their crushes just so they wouldn't avoid them or not talk to them anymore.

But all of that changed when you confessed to him. It took a shock on him but he was happy. It was a Happy-Shock type of feeling...

Despite you being a 2nd year he would always follow you on your missions, sometimes if you don't let him; he would secretly follow you and you would always end up saving him cause he was too busy admiring how you fight.

Definitely would get scolded by you and his teachers after those incidents.

He always hangs out in your dorm, the reason for that is because you always pamper him and make him feel love. Megumi might not say it but his love language is for his partner to pamper him...childish but it's cute.

Relationship with Megumi is soft, warm, chill and just peaceful... <3

Voltron Legendary Defender Rebuild of Evangelion Sequel AU

Ok here me out Its been on my mind for a while now but...

What if the Lions returned partially damaged but with precious cargo in the form of a comatosed Allura. Its revealed ber chances of waking up are slim as despite the Quintessence infusions she doesn't she any responsive signs.

Not long after Earth is attacked by a new threat and Voltron was needed once again. A new team of Paladins were chosen and fought the fight.

The paladins comprised of Yui Ikari (an Altean) leading in Black, Daniel (From Voltron Force) in red, and Altean Larmina in Blue, Vince mounting Green, and a Galra or Balmeraan OC in Yellow.

But in the final battle when Shinji Ikari (human Altean half-breed) was four his mother died resulting in 2nd impact. Shinji is later abandoned by his father before being summoned back to pilot the Black Lion. Following this Shinji meets Asuka (Human Galra half-breed), Rei, Toji, and Kensuke and in turn reforms Voltron.

When NERV recruited him Shinji learns the enemies target was the comatosed Allura in Terminal Dogma who was designated as Lilith to throw off any would be murdered but still attract their foes to NERV.

Voltron with the Sincline, twin Lance's (longinus and Cascus), Allura, Lotor, and. A third Quintessence ore based mech instrumentality would be instigated and well possible end of the world folks.

uniform is like a hoodie, her summer uniform has no sleeves while her winter one has very baggy sleeves

they didn't get glasses till later on in their 3rd year sometime after the star plasma arc due to an immense lack of sleep that ruined their sight

aand short hair came along sometime during their 2nd year after they dismantled their family clan lolol

during the baseball ep vv

okok so alex starts off as a transfer student and begins going to jujutsu high in her second year alongside geto, gojo and shoko

they're relatively close w/ shoko but in a more similar way that I am with my closest friend (ie we have no filter when we talk about stuff, by that I mean we just talk about everything casually ranging from in detail period buisness to body issues because yay dysphoria)

after that, she's closer to gojo by a longshot and both are best friends who are also even closer w/ geto (and secretly in love with him lmfaoo) After the events of jjk0 gojo offers alex to come back to the school and she reluctantly accepts since they've got nothing left, with that she becomes gojo's assistant teacher and the two grow incredibly close over the empty hole in their hearts due to the loss of geto. plus both are incredibly clingy people so they're always there for one another in an instant if the other is feeling lonely (which in fact is an extremely common occurrence on a near daily basis 💀)

and obviously the person they're closest to is geto, their best friend and eventual boyfriend (and husband later down the line) Before geto officially left the school he took nanako and mimiko to alex's dorm, explained the situation and after alex cleaned the two girls up they left together. alex never necessarily enjoyed the life of a jujutsu sorcerer especially after receiving the scar over her eye and a large scar on the back of her neck from their fight with toji which left even deeper mental scars.

other people she's close to ranges such as with nanako and mimiko, her adopted daughters. haibara, who used to be a good friend of hers prior to... yk. nanami and them never got necessarily close but after the jjk0 incident when alex was an assistant teacher the two got along due to their resentment towards being a jujutsu sorcerer. alex is like a big sister/parental figure towards the main trio (yuuji, nobara & megumi) and is extremely protective over them both physically and mentally bc she does not want the world to have them end up like geto. them and yuuji are closer than the others since she was always there for geto when he had to swallow curses, so she's there to help support him since she has a good grasp of how horrible it is and how much of a burden it is. alex didn't take part I'm the night of a hundred demons but she still avoids the 2nd years since she's aware of geto's run-in with them. she doesn't blame them for what happened to geto but things are very awkward between her and yuuta for obvious reasons. yaga is a parental figure for alex as well since he was her teacher and a very influential one at that who always looked out for his students which lead to her wanting to do the same for everyone else

another surprising friendship is between alex, jogo, hanami and dagon. alex and geto hung out with the three quite often prior to the events of jjk0 so she grew very fond of them and the four had soft spots for one another. alex wanted them to just run off and forget everything to live long lives despite them being curses but thanks to kenjaku returning and manipulating them, we all know how that turnt out.

now that the basics of relationships is went over, now onto their cursed technique and life as a sorcerer bc yaaay

so basically alex's cursed technique is cursed energy hardening, where they can basically manipulate their cursed energy into a solid of whatever form they desire, whether that is weapons or solid blocks used as stuff to block attacks or to climb up into the air like stairs. she's an incredibly strong sorcerer as a grade 1 and is occasionally considered to be a special grade, but because of her technique itself that prevents her from ever truly reaching special grade. they're an incredible fighter and physically stronger than gojo and geto (bc yay heavy lifting) and can beat both in an arm wrestling contest cause why not. obviously in overall strength she isn't close to the other two since her grade as a sorcerer is so high mostly due to her seemingly endless level of cursed energy. due to an immense amount of trauma growing up her cursed energy is created almost nonstop so she doesn't need to worry about limiting herself unless it comes to domain expansion which requires her to fight for a certain amount of time prior to get the proper buildup. female sorcerer's own strength is never put into consideration when being ranked, their looks are. after alex recovered from the events from the star plasma vessel arc, she was called in by the higher ups and her rank was taken down to a semi grade-2 due to the scar on her face "ruining her quality as a female sorcerer." they were going to be grade 3 but their level of cursed energy saved them from that further downgrade, but once geto and gojo heard of that they confronted the higher ups and she regained her og grade bc fuck misogyny.

alex is the only member of her family clan which she disbanded after a fight with her father for leadership. he sent the remainder of her family away to an unknown location and it was still unconfirmed if they were killed or not since the only one who escaped was her sister because she was out making horrible life decisions (based off my irl big sis ahahahhaha 😐) at time of everyone's disappearance. alex lost the first time in a humiliating way and that's how she got a large scar across her back and stretching to an arm. but after recovering and training they mastered their technique, fought him once again, won and disbanded the clan.

as said in the relationships area, alex left with geto and the two moved around places for a little while with the nanako and mimiko. from the start alex took on a parental role towards them alongside geto and spoiled them as much as she could, tending to their every need and ready to be at their side at a moments notice. eventually geto started his cult and so alex and the girls started off living in an apartment that he'd return home to after the day was finished up until they received enough funds to move into the cult's main building itself where they stayed until the events of jjk0. after the death of a certain someone, alex and gojo came across one another and gojo offered to let her rejoin the school as an assistant teacher since she didn't have the proper experience to be an actual teacher. alex always wanted to be a teacher so they were comforted by gojo's offer, though reluctant to accept due to the number of crimes committed as a curse user alongside geto, worried of being accused of being an accomplice to geto's list of murders (good for you geto you hot baddie, king, icon, girlboss)

gojo promised to keep alex safe and fight the higher ups if he needed, so desperate to get his friend back to fill that void in his life that was only amplified with the loss of his one and only. he was willing to put his entire career on the line just to make sure they could come back into his life and his argument with the higher ups was enough for that to happen. alex often went back and fourth, taking time to care for nanako and mimiko over the weekends since they committed too many crimes to have it safe for them to be spared or near the school's campus alone since alex moved back into the school eventually. she also had one last conversion with jogo, hanami and dagon where she gave them one final request for them to live their lives to the fullest, to stay safe and treasure themselves. to live a peaceful and happy life away from everything. (obviously that didn't happen lmfao)

then the next year rolled around and alex officially became gojo's assistant teacher and it stayed that way up until the shibuya incident where due to kenjaku and the loss of gojo's protection (bc of... yk 📦...) she was once again considered a curse user and suspended from the sorcerer world. she took on the full role as everyone's teacher and rounded up all of gojo's students (ie the remaining 1st and 2nd years) and helped them recover thanks from help from yuuta, shoko, choso and yuki.

alex guided them to the place where tengen resides which wasn't a pleasant place to be considering her trauma rooted there from the star plasma vessel arc, even commenting about the stain of blood on the floor likely belonging to riko. alex held a grudge against master tegen since she blamed him for riko's sorry excuse for a life and how the whole mission was pointless so they didn't even want to be there in the first place, but that parental instinct towards gojo's students was strong enough for her to stay with them for protection. after that they left yuki and choso which now leads us to the current arc

in the culling game arc alex is trying to find the others in their group and are doing fine as of now but they hold the hope that they'll come across geto, haibara, nanami, nobara or nanako and mimiko due to the quirks of the culling games. they aren't taking shit from anyone and are pretty much in rage mode dude to kenjaku's interference with everything and how they got separated from all they have left to live for. Anime Spring 2018 Final Impressions + Plans for Summer

It’s been a long time since I made the last post on every anime I watched on winter, or posting anything on Tumblr in general, it’s time to come back to talk about what anime I’ve watched this spring season and what I’m going to watch this summer.

WARNING: This list may contain spoilers.

Spring 2018

Golden Kamuy: I’ve looked this one this entire season, even though I may not know much, after watching a few episodes, I was definitely impressed, but there are a few people who are disappointed with how the anime turned out, I kind of understand that, but at the same time it leaves me a sour taste in my mouth.

I’m happy season 2 got announced for October, definitely looking forward for more.

High School DXD Hero: I’ve always been skeptical about this season just by the new art style alone, even if it’s by the same studio that made the Citrus anime, but it seems like Passione pulled it off.

Not only the art is rather nice, as I stated, it looks to be faithful to the light novels, they retconned the Juggernaut Drive moment from Born from episode 0, it took me by surprise and learning that the rest of Born was anime original ruined my life and everything I’ve seen has changed.

Steins;Gate 0: Not a lot to add, but it’s definitely one of the strongest series I’ve seen this season so far.

Tokyo Ghoul:re: As someone who hasn’t read the Tokyo Ghoul:re manga, I’d say this one was decent. I saw this ComicBook post where fans were disappointed by the season finale, but hey, there’s season 2 coming in October.

(Man, what’s with these shows having season 2 in Fall?)

My Hero Academia season 3: It’s lower in my list because, while MHA is really good, I read the manga and I pretty much know everything that happens, even if I forget what happened since it’s been ages since I read the chapters the anime adapts, at least they refresh my memory.

Lupin the 3rd Part 5: This one is good, my only problem is that every few episodes with storylines end, there are those extra episodes that take place in previous jackets, like red jacket and pink jacket Lupin, I can’t help but think those are filler. It’s probably my first time I’ve been mad to filler.

Persona 5: The Animation: Totally did not expect the problems P5A has at all, from animation quality, like terrible fight scenes, to pacing issues, like everything is happening so fast and A-1 decided to rush the 100 hour plot into a 25 episode series. At least it looks better than Persona 4: The Animation.

Given by the episode count I mentioned, I’m looking forward to the surprise teased by the director, I hope I see a lot of people lose their shit like Darling in the Franxx (Heh, A-1), I kind of have the guilty pleassure to see people suffer in this case.

Caligula: This one I really was looking forward to hate. The animation was decent and all but all I can think of is the story, I really don’t like the world at all and I probably don’t care for any of the characters, especially Ritsu.

At the end of episode 10, Ritsu left Mobius and came back to reality alone while all of his friends are left behind, by that point, for some reason I thought “I officially hate Ritsu for that!”, but the more I waited, the less I considered that idea and decided to drop it.

By episode 11, it’s where things are getting worse: The Ritsu we were seeing all along wasn’t even Shikishima Ritsu, it’s a dude called Tachibana Shingo...

...and this dude right here IS THE REAL SHIKISHIMA RITSU!

LIKE... WHAT?!

I thought Mobius Ritsu was Shingo who took Ritsu’s name but it’s actually the real Ritsu who took Shingo’s likeness. Why? Why would he do that? It’s not even explained. (Not sure if the game does)

I wanted to drop around episode 8 but I was 4 episodes left to finish watching this trash, and the more I saw it, I felt interested to know what was going on in the story.

I cared less about everything that happened in this show. It’s not offensively bad as 18if, but seriously, the world of Caligula sucks.

The only highlight of the series I’d give credits for are the post-credits teasers by Pop Team Epic creator, Okawa bkub.

Winter 2018 ongoing

Darling in the Franxx: Darling in the Franxx has grown to be the most divisive series to date, mainly from the “Bitchigo” controversy ever since.

While I definitely enjoy the series and I feel defensive about it, I can’t help but think that this is Trigger (and A-1)’s most controversial anime they’ve produced to have such fan outrage. Speaking of which, I don’t think it’s even being animated by Trigger anymore, it’s probably only A-1 alone along with Trigger animators and they just slapped the Trigger name on the credits. (I’m probably exaggerating), and Darling in the Franxx is not even on Trigger’s website!

If this is another one of Trigger’s big flops (The second one being Kiznaiver which WatchMojo called it “disappointing” which made me pissed so bad considering that I loved Kiznaiver, fucking thanks for the trauma, you cunts. (Don’t ask)), then Trigger, as storytellers, have become one-hit wonders, and that one hit is Kill La Kill. (Speaking of which, it’s getting a video game... developed by the people who made Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, which turned out hot garbage, RIP)

As of the writing of this post, the series hasn’t ended yet, so we’re still gonna have to wait how the ending will turn out.

Toji no Miko: This one was alright, for some reason I expected the second cour to be somewhat time-wasting and trying to figure out the story because I was satisfied with the end of the first cour, but this one was decent.

Even if the anime series ended, while the mobage is currently on existence, I’ll never stop making Kancolle x Touken Ranbu jokes, at least the series had its own identity to make up for it.

Grancrest Senki: This one I was the least hopeful to watch, though not as trash as Caligula per se, but it’s just generic fantasy with some political drama, and ridiculously violent (Which there’s nothing wrong with it but the amount of gore is really something from a fantasy anime).

There were a couple of good moments but overall, it was meh.

Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card: I’m a little surprised that Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card ended with 22 episodes as opposed to 24 or 25 episodes, overall, I enjoyed the series, hopefully we won’t wait for a long time for another season.

Plans for Summer

Attack on Titan season 3: Reminder that we didn’t have to wait for another 4 years for another Attack on Titan season.

Angels of Death: This one has the potential to be one of the better anime adaptations of an RPG Maker game, unlike Ao Oni which failed spectacularly, considered that the Angels of Death anime is being made by JC Staff.

As of the writing of this video, it’s now confirmed that the total of episodes was 16 episodes, 12 of the regular series, and 4 OVA.

Overlord III: It’s still hard to believe that Overlord II was a winter show and this new season is a summer show, considering that I normally would expect shows having two seasons between winter and fall (Such as Shinmai Maou no Testament (2015) and Bubuki Buranki (2016).)

Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: All I can think of is the titular character, Yuuna, is cute, and hot springs, what’s not to like?

Fate/Extra: Last Encore Illustrais Geocentrism: It still feels weird that Last Encore ended with 10 episodes, but at least there’s going to be more, but it’s going to be a two hour special, in two separate episodes. I thought I’ve seen sources that it was going to be episodes 11-13, I’ve seen a lot of sources and they confuse the heck out of me.

(Finally, a good line-up to watch)

BONUS: FLCL Progressive: Technically, FLCL Progressive came out on June 2nd on Adult Swim/Toonami, unlike the majority of the shows are all July shows.

FLCL Progressive and Alternative have quite the unique releases.

I was so baffled that many of the people I talk with were skeptical about FLCL Progressive, there were even stories of the original creator not wanting to make a sequel in the first place, I never gave a crap and ignored to what they said and just moved on to watch it.

After the first episode, it seems like the reactions were mostly positive (Maybe because a lot of people must be more newcomers than a few veteran FLCL fans), though the one thing that cringed me out was the part where Haruko (disguised as a teacher) made everyone watch porn.

Also, my bigger problem with watching FLCL Progressive (and Alternative) is that I have to watch them English dubbed and the subs got delayed until November (yes, that long; I’m not an English dubbed person, okay?).

Speaking of problems, as I mentioned that it was English dubbed, the parts where the characters say Japanese phrases is absolutely cringey as fuck, and with episode 4, at the beginning of the episode, Hidomi made a Jacksepticeye reference by saying “TOP OF THE MORNING!” and that triggered me so bad.

Speaking of Hidomi Hibajiri, she’s like my only highlight of this entire season, she’s such a cutie.

Like the original FLCL, Progressive and Alternative (I keep counting that one a lot, but, since it’s released on September, it still falls into Summer, I guess?) have 6 episodes, so as of the writing of this post, which ironically it’s almost 2 AM and it’s saturday, so new episode tonight, there’s at least going to be one more episode to end, and Alternative, while the first episode was released as a surprise release on April Fools, the rest of the episodes will be on September.

I wanted to add Tensai Bakabon to the list but now my interest to watch has turned off and I prefer Osomatsu-san over this one (This and Osomatsu-kun are made by Fujio Akatsuka and they’re being animated by Pierrot).
