H/D Candy Hearts Fest 2023: Info & FAQ

Welcome to the second year of the H/D Candy Hearts Fest! For every day in February, we will provide a prompt meant to inspire lighthearted, love-filled works with Drarry as the main pairing. This is a very lowkey fest, so feel free to use however many prompts on whatever day you want! Just post your work on Tumblr (tag us so we can share) or the AO3 collection (hdcandyheartsfest2023) between February 1st and February 28th! Take a look at our prompt list here 💕

Guidelines

The overall theme of this fest is lighthearted works. They can be the sweetest fluff, gentle humor, feel like a warm blanket, or anything in between! It’s perfectly fine if there are some moments of angst, but we’re all about happy endings.

Submissions must have Draco/Harry as the main pairing! However, feel free to change them up if you'd like (trans Drarry, anyone?) Any side pairings are welcome.

Participate as much or as little as you’d like, and feel free to use prompts in any order on any day in February. Want to do every prompt? Great! Want to do just one? No problem, we can’t wait to see what you’ve made!

Feel free to combine the Candy Hearts prompts with other fests/challenges running in February (such as @kinkuary)

This fest is open to all fanworks– fics, fanart, podfics, fic binding, playlists, moodboards, etc. Please make sure to get author permission if it’s a derivative work! 

There is no minimum or maximum word count for fics.

Mature and explicit works are welcome, just please be over 18 and tag appropriately on all platforms!

How to Participate

What is the point of this fest?

A lowkey daily challenge meant to inspire lighthearted and sweet Drarry works during February.

Do I have to create a work for every single prompt/day?

No! This is like pick ‘n mix at a candy store– do however many prompts you’d like on any day you’d like, as long as it’s posted in February. 

Are mature/explicit works allowed?

Absolutely! We just ask that you are over 18 and they be tagged appropriately on any platform that you post your work to.

What about poly ships?

We ask that the main pairing be Draco/Harry only, but background ships can be as varied as you like!

As usual, we’d like to make it very clear that this fest is very pro-trans people and anti-JKR 🏳️‍⚧️

About covid being over: are we just meant to put our entire social lives, our entire society on pause forever? My mental health plummeted during lockdown and will take years to recover. Now that there's vaccines and crowd immunity and less deadly strains we ARE meant to learn to deal with it as a given, the way we have with many deadly diseases in the past, and move on. So for the sake of life moving on at some point it's **normal** to treat it as a cold, and I'm saying this as someone who's lost people during the pandemic too. Please do not fear monger.

No, but you SHOULD care about other people enough to still mask.

I am NOT fearmongering.

Covid is still dangerous, especially to the many MANY people who are immunocompromised and people who cannot get the vaccines (for whatever reason).

I know several people who THIS YEAR caught permanently disabling covid, despite all being fully vaccinated.

I am not saying you have to quarantine yourself anymore. That was NOT a thing I said. There is a world of difference between wishing that other people cared enough to MASK, a thing that is NOT HARD AT ALL, and demanding that people still observe full quarantine protocols.

Plugging your ears and closing your eyes and refusing to listen when people are still justifiably worried, and not listening to experts that haven't been pressured by the government to say 'COVID IS NOT A THREAT ANYMORE YAAAY!!!' just makes you a fool.

I know that's harsh, but it's the truth.

Hospitals are no longer required to report covid cases and covid deaths as such. This is a GIANT RED FLAG that people are happily ignoring so they can feel safe.

~ Details & Rules ~

The most important rule is to have some Sukka fun! But here's a few guidelines to help us all have a good time

1) First and foremost, to submit a work for Sukka Week, please tag @sukka-week in your post.

You can also use the #sukkaweek and #sukkaweek2023 tags on your post, but the best way for me to see your submission is to @ this blog (and keep in mind that this blog has a hypen; there's another another blog without a hyphen so just watch out for that).

2) Sukka (romantic relationship between Sokka and Suki) should be the primary ship in your work.

Including other ships in your work is totally fine, but they shouldn’t break Sukka.

For the purposes of this event, poly ships that contain Sokka and Suki don’t count as Sukka. Stories where Sokka and/or Suki are in another relationship towards the beginning but Sukka is endgame are okay! However, the work should contain more Sukka than it does the other ship(s).

3) It's okay for the work to focus primarily on Sokka or Suki as independent people, as long as Sukka appears somewhere (and fits the criteria above).

For example, if I wanted to write a fic that's mostly about Suki's character development after the war, and Sokka appears in less than half the story, but they're still a couple and they think about each other/write to each other/visit each other once in a while, then that still fits for this event!

Or, if I wanted to draw a picture of a grown-up Sokka and a grown-up Foo Foo Cuddlypoops charging into battle, and I put Suki's face in the background with big pink heart eyes, that would also fit for this event!

4) Please tag all your content appropriately!

This includes mature or potentially triggering content like NSFW and violence, as well as content like additional ships.

5) Yes, NSFW content is allowed.

Intimate content should be consensual in nature, and please make sure to follow the guidelines of whatever platform is hosting your work.

As an FYI, this blog will use the tag #spicysukkaweek for any NSFW content in case you’d like to block these types of works.

6) Submissions should be previously unpublished.

One of the goals of this events is to inspire people to create brand-spankin’-new Sukka works! If you would like this blog to promote your existing works, I’m happy to do so during the lead-up weeks prior to the actual event week. Feel free to shoot me an ask or DM with a link.

That said, unpublished chapters to pre-existing works are okay! As are works that are cross-posted to simultaneously-occurring events.

7) If possible, it would be helpful to provide descriptions of visual or audio content.

e.g., image descriptions for fanart, edits, gifs, etc. and transcripts for audio content. I will do my best to remember to provide these descriptions when reblogging if they haven’t been included already.

8) Any kind of creative work goes!

We're not limited to fics and digital drawings! Want to create a new Sukka-Wild-West-AU-themed playlist? Please do! (I'd seriously love to hear what that sounds like.) Got inspired to do some Family-themed incorrect quotes? Have at it! Want to do a podfic of an existing Sukka story that gives you Battle Lovers vibes? That would be beautiful! (With the original author's permission, of course.) Don't feel like you have to write seven different 5k-word one-shots to participate in Sukka Week. (I'll try to take my own advice here, too. ;))

Like the past years it’s going to be PDF only, and completely free. Artists/Writers of all skill-levels are welcome, all entries that follow submission guidelines will be accepted and included in the zine!

WHAT TO DRAW

The Earth (It’s going to be something for Earth Day after all).

Ultimate Madoka.

A background of your choice. Simple, complex… is up to you. Please NO BLANK/TRANSPARENT backgrounds.

(OPTIONAL) You can include other Madoka Magica characters (OCs are not allowed) but please mantain the focus on Ultimate Madoka and the Earth.

WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT

The Earth (It’s going to be something for Earth Day after all).

Ultimate Madoka.

(OPTIONAL) You can include other Madoka Magica characters (OCs are not allowed) but please mantain the focus on Ultimate Madoka and the Earth.

You can write about the reason why Madoka love the Earth so much, if she does something particular on Earth Day, her job as Earth protector, or if she looks for puppies or cute things on Earth when she doesn’t save magical girl… the possibilities are endless. Remember you can draw/write about other characters, but the focus of your piece must be on the Earth and Ultimate Madoka.

ARTISTS GUIDELINES

Refer to “what to draw” and “general guidelines”.

A4 (2480 × 3508 pixels @ 300dpi), RBG, PNG, portrait orientation. Make sure your canvas is this size.

Traditional art will be accepted, but please scan it cleanly!

Only complete drawings. Sketches will not be included.

WRITERS GUIDELINES

Refer to “what to write about” and “general guidelines”.

All writings must not exceed 1k/1.2k words!

Before submit triple check your piece for grammar/spelling errors. Keep in mind that mods aren’t english native speakers so we might let some errors slip our eyes when we read it. So please get someone that can proofread your work before send it to us.

Please use a google doc link to submit your work.

HOW TO SUBMIT

When your piece is ready send it to [email protected] with:

We’ll send you a confirmation email (so you know we received your piece) as soon as we can. If we don’t after 48 hours please contact us and re-send your email.

You can post cropped wips of your piece (@ our socials so we can reblog/retweet them ♥), but please keep the final thing secret until zine release.

The goal is to have this PDF released on April 22: Earth Day.

Graphics (dunno what that is) gifsets, edits (video, photo) memes, uhh whatever you can think of that i don't have in mind even crochet, quilts, embroidery, calligraphy, mosaic, bracelets, fimo stuff, food, cosplay, you can even draw käärijä as a tbh creature in html if you feel like it, everything is good and accepted as long as it's about käärijä and käärijä-adjacent!

Hello friends! As requested, we have put together a stunning Pride challenge for you this year! This challenge will run the entire pride season, and the goal will be to work together as a community to rack up enough points to earn amazing prizes for the blog. 

Current point total: 13,340

We'll post soon with more detail regarding the prizes and point levels, but here’s an idea:

Sticker sets as both digital art and physical stickers for those who want to order them

Extra benefits for top point earners, such as voting on image themes

How do we earn points? Well, by submitting fic *or art* during this challenge period! ALL submissions will count, and as you can see after the jump, there are a ton of ways to earn bonus points, including reader interaction with those posts. 

Also—before you freak out! You don’t have to do any math yourselves, you precious little angels! I will be taking on that burden myself!

I’ll post the points earned at the bottom of each fic or art post, and after each queue finishes I’ll update the totals. (If you *would* like to try calculating your own points, here’s a little spreadsheet you can use.) 

There are a few fics ready to queue up, so I’ll post them tomorrow and you can see how the points add up even when the writers don’t have the challenge in mind.

Glossary:

“Art” is for any creation that’s not fic. So drawings, digital art, photo collages, etc. 

“New Creator” means anyone who hasn’t posted on AQ before. 

2nd, 3rd, and 4th posts refer to during this challenge. 

“Next Part of a WIP” would be a new part of something that’s already partially posted on AQ 

“Uncommon Ship” would be a ship with less than 50 posts here on AQ

“Rare Pair” would be a ship with less than 10 posts 

“Brand New Ship” would be for the first post of any given ship

“Includes Art” is for fic that has art or illustrations in it. 

“Returning Writer” is for any writer who is posting after an absence of 3 months or more.

“Fic-inspired” is art that’s inspired by a fic, whether it’s your own or someone else’s, and whether that fic is posted on AQ or elsewhere. 

FAQ:

Q: What is “pride season”? Do you mean June? The summer? A: Yup. (It’s open-ended on purpose to give ourselves space to achieve all goals.)

Q: Am I allowed to cross-post my work here that’s already on AO3? A: Yes! You are encouraged to do so; it’s a great way to rack up points and advertise your work!

Q: What if people ‘cheat’ by sending in prompts and then filling them themselves?! Or sending in anon feedback about their own work?!?!?! A: Obviously this will be taken very seriously. We will first send a team of forensic investigators to their house, and then submit all evidence to the FBI. (In case it’s not clear, I’m kidding.)

Rules & Guidelines - Drarry Disability Fest 2024

We finally have our rules and guidelines all sorted out and ready to share with everyone! So here it is; if you notice any omitted or missing times or dates that is because those are farther in the future and we cannot predict the exact time they will happen.

We would like to reiterate that transphobia, homophobia, racism, antisemitism, ableism, and fatphobia do not have a place here in this fest; we will take down and reject prompts promoting those ideologies. We do not support J.K. Rowling's damaging views - though she is somehow the author of these books and owns the rights to them - we do not profit from or otherwise benefit from this fest based on the Harry Potter books in any way.

Prompting

Prompting opens February 29. 

This is an 18+ fest.

Anyone can prompt, whether you’re planning on creating or not, and each person is allowed to submit a maximum of 10 prompts.

A person with a disability doesn’t need to be the main character, but they do need to be one of the primary characters. Along the same note, the disability(ies) don’t need to be the sole focus of the creation, but it does need to be an important part of the person's life.

No cure-all fics, please! If you choose to give your character a disability that can't be cured in real life, please don’t magically take them away in your fic; disabled people can have happily ever afters while still being disabled.

It’s fine to prompt disabled people or mentally ill people getting sick, please don’t prompt sickfics in which an able person happens to be temporarily sick—they don’t count as a disabled person.

If you have previously written a fic centering the experiences of a disabled person in a Drarry-centric fic, feel free to recommend your work for podfic. However, your fic will still be subject to the screening we put to all prompts in this fest. Because of the nature of this fest in that it’s centered on stigmatized topics, the mods will screen prompts, (and self-prompts once claiming opens) to make sure these rules are followed.

Prompting closes March 20.

Claiming & Creating

Claiming starts April 1.

Please claim one prompt at a time. You may claim another prompt only after submitting your work. As mentioned in the prompting section, we will allow self-prompting as well granted that your prompt passes our screening.

Collaborations are allowed in any shape, form, or medium aside from videos or gifs. Please sign up together once. We will ask for one main person of contact for the team, as well as emails and AO3 for all members of the group.

This is a non-anonymous fest, so feel free to chat about your prompts as much as you like!

For fics writers, we ask that you write a minimum word count of 1k words and that your fic is beta read. In addition, if you do not personally have the disability you’re writing about or don’t have experience with it, we require for you to have a sensitivity reader look over your work—please research the topic if you don’t know much about the disability you’re writing about!

For podfics, please make sure you have permission from the author of the story you’re podficcing. We will be screening the fics for podfic as well, since sensitivity to issues faced by disabled people is important to us (being three disabled people ourselves, this is kind of a 'no shit Sherlock' moment but we thought we'd say it anyway).

As mentioned in the prompting section, due to the nature of this fest, the mods will be screening works as it is important to us that we have proper representation of the disabilities portrayed, rather than romanticization or stereotyping.

Claiming ends June 15, we trust you to not claim something on the 15 that you cannot finish on the 16.

Within these trenches lie the wasted, the missing, the lost, the quality URLs taken in the latest waves of the war against the bots of Tumblr. Though they are blocked now, their sacrifices will not be forgotten. Here's a toast to the fallen URLs.

Hey folks! After a few weeks of the latest rounds of bots we just couldn't take it anymore, seeing URLs of all walks that were just too "Tumblr" to lie blocked and forgotten.

So! We've (I've, with prodding) opened a submission blog here for you to share with the world the lost URLs that are too good to let languish in your blocked list. Whether unfathomably funny, or hilariously ironic, or a name you cannot believe isn't a blog already, or something that gives you that terrible horrible moment of "Oh, that can only be Tumblr content," you can submit your screenshots here and we'll share them to the world!

We at the Fallen URLs Fields hope that all URLs lost within the trenches may one day be brought to life again through the processing of spam/bot block reports. Onward!

The Guideline Gist: - Submissions will be queued, asks are open, and I'll be running checks on this once a day or so. Kakashi Week 2023 Guidelines/Rules

Event Period: September 10th-17th 2023

No early submissions, please; posting period begins September 10th in your timezone!

Late submissions will be reblogged/accepted until the end of September.

Our 2023 prompts are here.

No signup or commitment is necessary to participate, and the event is open to everyone! You do not have to create for every prompt or every day - though you are welcome to do so if you like! - only create for whichever prompts catch your inspiration.

No bashing of other participants, or the ships or characters for whom they choose to create!

Guidelines: Fanfiction, fanart, moodboards, edits, headcanons & not!fics, cosplays, physical crafts, any medium in which you create are more than welcome here!

We are a creation event, but so long as you are making something focused on Kakashi and inspired by one of our prompts, we welcome any works! Any ship or no ship are welcome, including works with OCs. All works must be new/previously unpublished and inspired by one (or more) of the prompts.

Please include a cut for lengthy posts here on Tumblr.

Any content is accepted, but do remember to tag all NSFW, kink, or trigger-worthy content, tuck it behind a cut, and include warnings where appropriate!

Anything with such content that does not have the warnings/cut will not be reblogged.

(Mod will contact you in such case when we see the post, to check in, in case of mistakes or glitches.)

Do also mention which prompt your work is for, in the post itself or in your tags!

For posts here linking to fanfiction and other text-based works on other platforms, such as AO3, please include in your post the rating, characters and/or ship if applicable, and any trigger or content warnings along with the link itself. 🎵 RULES AND GUIDELINES 🎵

🎶 Prompting:

Prompting opens January 14th 2023. 

You may submit up to ten prompts. These can be named or anonymous. We trust our prompters to abide by this, even if they are prompting anonymously (however if anyone accidentally submits too many, dont worry, the mods will swiftly delete the extras, removing all evidence of your wrongdoing 😂). You do not have to be creating a work for the fest in order to post a prompt. Anyone can prompt!

All prompts must be a SONG. Instrumental songs are encouraged as well. All songs must be English. 

Please include any extra prompt details that you would love to see incorporated. If you wish, you can also include a maximum rating and any squicks you would prefer not to read/see (for example, Maximum Rating: Explicit. No MCD).  Please note that these are for inspiration only and creators are not obliged to fulfil all aspects of your wishes.

We also allow self prompting! You can either prompt what you wish to write, and then take your chance claiming it (but bear in mind, someone might beat you to it!). Or you can simply wait and submit your own prompt as your claim when claiming opens.

We allow multiple prompts for the same song as long as the prompts themselves are significantly different to each other. If we receive a prompt twice, one with additional information and one without, we'll remove the prompt without any additional information, even if it was the one submitted first! Therefore, we encourage you to include additional information with your prompts!

🎶 Claiming:

There is a cap of 80 claims for FIC. There is no cap for ART or other media. Claiming starts on 28th January at 3pm UTC (what time is that for me?) and will remain open until the 31st May, unless we reach our cap of 80 claims for fics.

This is an 18+ fest, and we will require all claimants to confirm that they are aged 18 or over.

Prompts will be awarded on a first come first served basis. 

Please choose your top three prompts when claiming, in order of preference (i.e. your top prompt as prompt choice 1, second choice as prompt choice 2, etc). This is in case your first choice has already been claimed. However, if you’ve got your heart set on just one prompt, you are welcome to submit the form with just the one prompt! You might be lucky!

You can only claim one prompt at a time. If you finish your prompt, you may claim an additional prompt after you submit your first work, if claims are still open at that time. If you have submitted your first work, and wish to claim another prompt, please contact the mods at [email protected] and let us know you wish to claim an additional prompt. If it's for fic, we'll let you know whether there are any writer slots available, and we'll send you an email to confirm this.

If you claim a prompt and subsequently feel unable to complete the work, please inform us as soon as possible at [email protected]. We understand that life can get in the way! Unfortunately, however, in such circumstances, you won't be eligible to claim a further prompt for 2023.

You will receive an email within 48 hours confirming your successful claim. Please respond to this email within 72 hours to confirm your participation in H/D Wireless.

Writers and Artists: 

Each prompt can be claimed once for fic and once for art.

You may claim for BOTH fic and art at the same time, either as an individual or as a collaboration. If you are doing a collab please email us at [email protected] to confirm.

Podficcers:

We will be allowing people to enter podfics of fics from previous years of HD Wireless fest. To enable this we have compiled a list of previous Wireless fics where the creator has indicated to the mods that they give permission for their work to be podficced. 

You can access the list of available fics HERE. 

To sign up to create a podfic of an existing fic, please claim the fic you wish to record by completing the claim form. 

Each fic can be claimed once for podfic. We will inform you by email if your claim has been successful. You may indicate a second and third choice, on the off-chance that your first choice is unavailable.

We are not accepting podfics for the fest of any fics that are not on our list. However, if you see that any author (not on our list) has written a fic for Wireless and who you believe does consent to their fic(s) being podficced (either by having confirmed to you directly, or they have a blanket permission statement on their profile), please email the mods with the name of the author, evidence of the permission, and we will make a determination on a case by case basis.

🎶 Creating:

Fic and art should use the song prompt in some way, but this is very fluid, so feel free to interpret it in your own creative way.

For fics, there is a minimum word count of 1,000 words and no maximum.

All fics must be beta-read (If you are unable to find a beta please let us know), and podfics should be beta-listened for accuracy before submitting. 

Submissions must be completed works. Please do not submit a draft for a fic that has not been completed (e.g., single chapters of a chaptered work).

AI generated art or text is not permitted in creations for this fest. 

All submissions must be in English or include a translation.

As this is an anonymous fest, all creations must be individual works, and cannot be part of a series, or a prequel/sequel to an existing work. If you are planning to continue the work with either of these,  we ask you to please do not reference this in your creation(including in your creator notes) until after the fest.

❗ Please be aware that AO3’s Terms of Service only allow for ‘short quotations’ from copyrighted materials. For this reason we ask that you be mindful about your usage of lyrics in your creation. For more information, and for links to further information, please see our previous post on the issue HERE. ❗

We encourage you to be inspired by the prompters additional details, but these are not required to be incorporated into the creation. You may also wish to take into consideration your prompter squicks when creating, this is not a requirement — but we ask that you do not gift the creation to the prompter if you are not taking the squicks into consideration, and as always, be sure to tag your work appropriately.

This fest employs a mixture of both anonymous and non-anonymous posting for creations.

All fics are posted anonymously, however for art we allow artists to include watermarks on their creations if they so wish. Podfics will also be posted anonymously, but the podficcers are allowed to state their name in the podfic itself. Due to the anonymous nature of the fest, we wish to keep all creations completely anonymous until reveals (for fics) or posting (for art and podfic) and as such we do not allow for works to be discussed prior to the relevant reveals. This includes discussing it in a public forum whilst creating it or whilst the fest is underway. If you are looking for an alpha or beta reader in a public forum please keep the information provided to a minimum.

🎶 Submitting:

Once you have completed your work, it’s time to submit! Submissions are due June 12th, but if you are finished before this date, you are welcome to submit early.

Submission Requirements:

You are required to add hd_wireless_mod as co-creator when uploading your fic, art or podfic. This is primarily so that we can change the posting date, add in the standard fest end note and a tag for HD Wireless 2023. We will not make any other changes to your work, and we will remove the mod account after reveals.

Add your creation to the hd_wireless collection. All works must be posted directly to the AO3 collection here

Podfics should be linked to the original work using the AO3 function: “This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work” and pasting the URL of the original fic. Please state the title, author, rating and any major archive warnings in the audio intro of the podfic. Any art or images used for cover art should be copyright-free or have the consent of the artist. Any music used within the podfic should be copyright-free.

Please tag appropriately: Be sure to include all appropriate warnings, tag your work correctly and please be mindful while choosing your tags. We enjoy a fun tag as much as the next person, but customised tags may be recognisable to some readers, and give you away. As such we ask that you think very carefully about your tag usage.

Acknowledge your creative team in your notes! We want you to acknowledge the people who supported your creation! This includes alphas, betas, cheerleaders, and anyone else who helped you along the way! However, as this is anonymous, please do not mention these people by name, as this can sometimes be a way that creators can be identified. A good way to do this is to use a pseudonym for them, or simply refer to these individuals with an initial. Please do remember to come back and acknowledge these people publicly after the reveals!

Please include your song prompt in the creation notes at the beginning of the work to share the inspiration of your work.

The mods will proof all fics and podfics and inform you if there are any additional requirements. Please check your emails regularly to see if we’ve sent you a message regarding your work.

Please don't change the date on your creation of your own accord. The mods reserve the right to remove your work from the collection if we see that the date has been changed during or after the fest.

Your work must remain in the collection for at least six months. If you remove your work from the collection before that, you may be banned from participating in the fest for the following year/s.

🎶 Extensions:

You can contact the mods at:​ [email protected]. If you need an extension, or have to drop out, please let us know by email. For extensions we will require you to provide your WIP document, an estimate of how much you have left to go (such as the estimated final word count), and how much time you think this will take you. Please do not be afraid to reach out about this, we are always happy to hear from you!

🎶 Posting:

The mods will post your creation on the scheduled day. We do not release the posting schedule as this is subject to change.

Once your creation has been posted please be mindful not to reveal yourself as the creator.

We ask that you do not respond to comments on your creations until after reveals. This is to ensure that you do not identify yourself in your response. Additionally, responding after reveals can be a lovely way for the commenter to find out who created the work they loved so much!

While we hope that it will not happen, sometimes creations receive negative comments. If you receive a nasty or critical comment, please contact the mods via email asap. We have a process for handling these events, but will work with you to do so, so that you are included in every step, if you wish to be — or excluded from this, if that is your wish.

🎶 Further Information:

The prompts are not available to be claimed unless you are participating in the H/D Wireless Fest itself. Once Wireless posted the final reveals the prompts are no longer being used by the fest, and if you have found something you are particularly inspired by, please message the prompter to ask for their consent for a work to be created outside of the fest.

For general questions about the fest don’t hesitate to contact the mods at [email protected] (we don't always check Tumblr for new messages, sending an email is the best form of communication). But keep in mind that we're operating in multiple time zones, that we need to eat, and sleep, and take care of real life business, hence we aren’t available 24/7. We will aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Please note that should there be any disputes regarding the interpretation of the rules, the decision of the mods will be final.
