I can understand people having mixed feelings on the Collector ESPECIALLY in season 3 and such but the argument that he was just “thrown in at last minute” isn’t really a valid argument because 1. Dana and some of the crew members implied he would’ve gotten a bigger storyline without the shortening in one of the Post Hoots, and 2. In Echoes of the Past, when they show the backstory between how King was born, The Titan (King’s dad) was shown fighting with one of the Collectors, PLUS in the murals with the Titans, you can see several Collectors surrounding all the Titans and their babies, along with another Collector showing up in Knock Knock Knocking on Hooty’s Door 

#have your opinion on how they were shown and done in late season 2 and season 3 all you want BUT THERE'S A LOT OF COLLECTOR SYMBOLISM #in the early season 2 episodes and s2a was apparently written and made BEFORE the official shortening #technically s2 and s2b were the effect of the shortening #but even then I find The Collector neat and I don't have that many complaints on them #but I can understand people's criticisms. but AT LEAST be consistent if you're gonna do so. #also idc if you don't have much feelings on him or you have conflicting feelings but if you HATE THEM WITH A PASSION THEN DNI /srs #the collector #the collecter toh #the owl house #toh #collector toh #yeah I'm very passionate about them can you tell??
