9-1-1 episode 7x08 (spoilers???)

The way Amir is looking at Bobby like a shark that smells blood, I have a very bad feeling about 7x08.

Not to mention the title of the episode being, "Step 9" which is a reference to steps taken in Alcoholics Anonymous. Step 9 in particular, provides that, "Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others."

But I have the sickening idea that maybe Bobby is going insane the entire episode, terrified of Amir taking revenge on his family. So he does everything he possibly can to protect Athena, May & Harry. He keeps contant watch, has cameras set up all around the house and maybe even their workplaces/college.

Then, there's this moment when he finally gets home. He's smiling, and overly relieved because Athena and the kids are safe and having dinner.

Then he gets a call.

Amir's voice crackles over the line.

He chuckles, his tone light and airy despite the pure hatred and resentment he's harboured for Bobby over the course of a decade.

He says, "Oh, I understand what it's like to fear for your family's safety. To pray for their lives even when you know what the inevitable outcome is going to be. Your mistake, Bobby Nash, was thinking that I was above revenge. So now I'm going to take something from you, the same way you took my wife from me."

Abd Bobby goes, "Amir, please-"

"I'm glad you're there to keep your family safe. But you forgot one of them. And I am going to make you choose. Yourself, or the kid? It's a choice I was never given when Sadie was engulfed. You should be thankful."

Bobby's stomach drops.

"What is it they say, when you have a kid? It's like an extension of your heart, outside of your body?"

Cold, hard realization hits Bobby like a semi-truck.

"The Buckley boy isn't your blood, but he sure is the heart of your little fire family. I hope he doesn't suffer the way she did, when the flames consumed her alive."

The phone cuts off, and leaves Bobby in horrified silence as Athena frantically calls the LAPD.

Gimme episode where 118 talks about their scars and chronic pain please. Just let us remember they like us and always would feel not best after everything. Gimme Buck limping after bad shifts and gives himself leg massage, gimme Eddie putting painkiller gel on his shoulders, hip and wrist, gimme Bobby barely walking after super bad shift, gimme Chim with headaches, show me Hen having back pains in the place where she was shot as a teen. two equally hilarious outcomes of shannon 2.0, either they cast a second actress to play kim and we get the reveal she doesn’t look nearly as much like shannon as she does from eddie’s pov.

or we get a scene where she meets the 118 and it’s just a bunch of reaction shots of them like

Before long, they’re even doing it in texts.

It’s just that sometimes the 118 asks too many questions, and sometimes there’s just no good (or clear or logical) way to explain. Exhibit A: How Buck ended up in Eddie’s bed during a sleepover (and how he’s been sleeping there most nights since).
