Food. Cats. Baby bump. Food. This is my life.

Not much to report from my end except that I’m still eating and sleeping like a champion. The baby is moving around even more — I’m not super used to all the sensations yet and they’re becoming stronger every day. The other day I had my hand on my tummy and he made a big move and I pulled my hand away like, AH! I’ll get used to it. 😂

Work things are going.. okay. My transition into the new position is becoming more complete(ish). I’m starting to be able to understand what is within my responsibilities and what isn’t. There’s definitely still big grey areas and I’m beginning to realize just how many times a day I used to receive escalations and questions for decisions and whatnot. Things that are no longer up to me to decide. It’s kind of a nice feeling, letting that go. A little bittersweet still.

I want facts, not opinions. But now I can't find either without bias so meticulously sewn together to paint a particular picture for you to view. The view isn't truth, but they sell it as so. And we eat it all up and scream in agreement. We're all angry. We're all pointing fingers. We all think we're right. Because how could we be wrong? I know I'm right. You know you're right.

I was wrong. You were wrong. These words rarely cross our minds. Because it's true to us, how could you say it's wrong.

Just give me a list of facts. What everything was said. Don't add in the filler and filters of shades of green and red. Don't leave things out, don't omit things that I may find important. I can't form an opinion, a clear thought of mine, when all you tell me is yours. My thoughts become your thoughts. They're no longer mine. I don't want to think and agree with you. There is no discussion when we all say the same thing.

I was born as me and to be me. I'm no parrot, and I won't be repeating the words of the pandemonium. My words and thoughts may be quiet to ears, but they ring loud and clear, hold truth despite my fear. I may be alone in this fury of rage, but I won't back down, no matter who meets my gaze. You may shout louder than anyone else, but the truth always comes out.

To deny this fact, you are lying to yourself. The truth isn't easy to find and is often buried because someone wanted to hide it. Lies are spoken out of fear to control the circumstances. Seek the truth, not the truth that is given to you.

On to facts. When Rick jumped in front of Beth, that was reflex. Beth was in trouble and he didn't have time to think, he just pounced into action. Impulse. But when he saw her face, that's when it dawned on him how terrified shed just been at that impending doom that was heading her way. Got PERSONAL personal real quick.

If you listen to the audio — When Rick swiftly turns and splinters that last arrow, he lets out this growl like huff — It’s almost a chuckle, even. Like a “You DARED? It’s on.” Then STALKS off. PISSED. The body language said 10202020 things right there.

i ate chocolate chip cookies today like there was no tomorrow.  not sure why, but when i start, i just keep eating them.  probably ate a dozen or so

it feels nice to be able to go to the gym.  i really look forward to that part of my day.
