(3rd person update)

Once Christina and Jeb were stuck at the hospital, the Talbert children went “wild”.

Betty and Marvin *gasp* hugged before marriage!!

Harvey drank directly from the punch bowl while Glenn and Kayla stole a bunch of food.

Christian invited Tyrell over, and the two talked about things other than Jesus! They even spoke to... a working woman! Who was wearing pants!!1!!!1

Julie danced.

Lovell stole the microphone and started singing. Luckily, Irene was able to crank up the volume on that violin.

Daniel eavesdropped on everybody to make sure nothing suspicious was going on. Which is what he normally does, and is entirely Christina-approved, so... good job not going off the Jesus rails, Daniel.

Eve, however, brazenly spoke to unmarried young men without a chaperone!

Naomi crawled outside and napped on some leaves. Again, not wild or reckless even by Talbert standards, but somebody should really have kept an eye on the toddlers or something.

Ann certainly didn’t. Her and Max are both Romantic, so they were much too busy playing tonsil hockey to notice anything going on around them.

At one point, she wasn’t even around to witness most of it.

Abigail, however, was present for the entire reception, so it’s only a matter of time before some of this gets back to Christina...

2. how would you describe your style? I would describe myself as a family simmer, I guess! It’s hard because I tend to do a lot of things. Perhaps I should call myself a variety simmer? Or a “shops for CC and organizes her Mods folder more than she plays the game itself” simmer? :)

3. what is your favorite challenge? The Fundie Challenge, of course! It doesn’t have official rules, but I consider it a challenge- it has a theme, and there are plenty of restrictions on what your sims can do.

14. who is your current favorite sim? Dora and Immy are tied- I love them a lot, for very different reasons.

15. who is your current favorite sim that is not by you? Ohhhhhh boy, this is gonna be tough. I’ll do a “top 5″ list like you did!

#5 is Ella Mae from @meetthefundies! She’s such a sweetheart despite her upbringing that I can’t help but like her. She would be higher, but sometimes she says something that makes me go, “Ella, sweetie, what in the world are you talking about? just, what???” so she’s at number 5.

#4 is definitely Stacie from @fundielicious-simblr. All I want is for her and Reece to live happily ever after! 🥺

#3 is Maud from @alnwicks! I absolutely adore her rebellious spirit, and I’m super excited to see what kind of trouble she gets into with Cora by her side. 😈

#2 is Christina Talbert from @100talberts. She's annoyingly devout, but the way she types and thinks is hilarious. She's such a fundie weirdo, and I love it!

Aaaaaand coming in at #1 is Hannah, also from @meetthefundies​! Honestly, wow. This woman!! I am obsessed with her. She's tough, she's successful, she's FREE! It was fantastic to see her transform from a stifled child bride to a happy young woman!

Honorable mentions go to Rob Perkins and Naomi Wright, both also from @meetthefundies, for putting up with Rachel/Callie's crap. :)

To our great surprise, Lovell sat us down and announced he was leaving us!! He feels that, because he is a young man now with his own money and income, it was time for him to find a place of his own!! It’s very sad that he isn’t moving out with a wife, but I’m sure an independent man with his own house and a steady income will attract plenty of good Christian girls!!! We gave him a tearful farewell and promised to pray for him while he’s out on his own!!!

Oh, the trials of learning!!! Little Yvette made breakfast for the first time, and she set the stove on fire!!! I can forgive that, but I cannot forgive what happened next!!!

Phoebe and Naomi put out the fire!!! I always tell my children that, in a fire, girls grab the children while boys fight the fire, but my young ladies threw aside all my teachings!!! They later told me it was because they “panicked” because the men were all “upstairs” and they were “afraid” the kitchen would “burn down”, but I’m not hearing it!!!! Jeb’s right - I need to do better disciplining my children!!!

I sent them straight to the Prayer Wall and gave them a very harsh lecture!!! They seemed very regretful during their prayers, so I think it worked!!! Amen!!!

Today was the big day!!!! We’ve been attending Amazing Grace Church ever since we moved here, so I’m touched than Ann chose it to as the wedding venue!!!!

As the littlest girls, Mary and Naomi had the high honor of being flower girls!! Aren’t they just adorable?? And Ann is stunning in her modest wedding gown!!!!!

Soon my baby girl was at the arch, committing herself to her husband under the eyes of our Lord!! They’ve saved their first touches for marriage, so watching them hold hands was extra special!!!

They exchanged vows...

...then had their long-awaited First Kiss!!!! It was such a special, intimate, and holy moment, I’m sure everyone in the room will remember it for the rest of their lives!!!!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Maximilian Bishop!!!!

There’s nothing better than a group of Godly young women gathering together!!! Phoebe invited her friends over for lemon bars and Biblical study, and they were having a wonderful time!!!

Naturally, Phoebe was happy to welcome any sister that wanted to hang out with them!! Naomi was happy to include herself, and even happier to speak with those young women about saving the planet!! Naomi’s still the only member of her club, so she’s very eager to recruit!!!

Unfortunately, nobody was interested, but they still had a nice time reading scripture and watching the movies Veronica put on!!

(3rd person update. TL;DR everyone got a new hobby.)

Guess who couldn’t pay their bills?

The money Jeb made at work gave them enough to pay, but he is not happy. He starts to gather all his sons Teen and older, only to realize Lovell is the only one still at home. He curses out Harvey and Glenn for using their money to move out and leave them alone with the bills, because it’s totally their fault that nobody told them their parents were struggling financially.

Anyways, Jeb and Christina agree on a new household rule: all girls Teen and up must pursue a “productive” (money-making) hobby, and all boys Teen and up must pursue a “productive” hobby and/or get a job.

Music is not productive, so Lovell gets a job at Sim-Fil-A. He finds that a 5-9 job leaves him the rest of the day to write his Dramatic Ballads.

Christina and Irene already make flowers, and now Kayla joins them.

Naomi gardens and takes pictures.

Naomi also convinced Irene to spend her latest royalty paycheck on a bee box.

Rather than pick up a hobby, Julie takes on the “jobs” of maid and nanny. The child aged girls do most of the cleaning and laundry already, so that’s fine, but now every toddler is the responsibility of Julie and Julie alone. Julie, who is Family-Oriented, has a Super Parent aspiration, and is a Family Sim, is very happy with that.

Mary takes up painting.

It all leaves the R&S twins with plenty of time to do their own recreational activities.

Like fishing. Even though they aren’t required to help out with money, Shane and Pine Tree happily go fishing anyways.

They aren’t like the other kids, who choose fun and personal fulfillment over making money. Selfish brats.

At least Jeb won a chance card.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of holding God’s little miracles in my arms!!!! Our latest bundle of joy is Naomi Talbert - another girl!!! As a mama, I sure am blessed with future mamas!!!

Congratulations to Christian and Frank!!!! They’ve saved ten souls together!!! Hitting the streets to find sinners isn’t easy work, but it sure pays off!!!!

Us ladies still need to perform our duties while waiting for the big day, but no doubt Ann does her chores with a spring in her step and a large smile on her face!! Nothing makes a mother happier than her children’s joy, and Ann’s joy is certainly contagious!!! The whole house is buzzing with wedding excitement!!!!

Ann agreed to let Irene play some violin at her wedding, and now Irene’s practicing more than ever!!!! It warms my spirit to see such strong sisterhood!!!!

Naomi got married!!!

Purity is of utmost importance, and I’m so glad that every daughter of mine has remained pure for her big day!!! Naomi saving herself for Louis makes it so much more special when they finally get to kiss and touch beneath the altar!!!

They exchanged rings and vows, and then I lost my dear Naomi to Louis!!! She was such a great help around the home, and I’ll miss her terribly!!!

Naomi loves her bees, so naturally she had honey cake at her wedding!!! Naomi actually helped Phoebe make them!!!

They were as sweet as Naomi is!!!

Xavier is such a great musician!!! He mastered his Creativity at the after party!!!

Irene showed up with a glorious surprise!!! God has blessed her with children!!!! Jeb and I believe in being surprised at birth, but Irene feels differently!!! She already knows how many babies she’ll have and what the sexes are - I asked her to not tell me, but she already let it slip that there’s more than one, and at least one is a girl!!! I’m so relieved that God is giving her multiples to make up for the lost time!!!

The wedding was wonderful, and I’m so proud that Naomi is entering this new phase of life!!! I know I’ve raised her well, and that she’ll be a truly Godly wife and mother!!! Amen!!!

I would also like to announce two new pets!!! Jebidiah approved of us adopting a cat, but when it was time to choose she just couldn’t pick!!! Both cats are very adorable, so we got them both!!! Meet Angel (white) and Bible (black)!!!

Nothing’s sweeter than sisterly bonds!!! Yvette loves to play dolls with her little sisters and it’s so sweet to watch them dream of becoming homemakers and mothers!!! PTL that my girls are embracing their natural femininity so early on!!!!

The kids are so blessed to have Jeb as their father!!! He had a day off today, and he’s spending it playing chess with Tanny!!!

Nothing can keep Oliver down!! He’s mastered the Fitness skill, but he insists on jogging in a thunderstorm anyways!!! Discipline and willpower like this will turn him into a truly Godly headship and father!!!!

All of my girls are big helps with the toddlers (PTL!!!) but Naomi deserves a special mention!!! Aaron and Bethany are both potty trained thanks to her!!! She’s already so good at mothering and I just know her kids will grow up happy and Godly!!!! Amen!!!

Of course, nothing in the world is better than learning about our Lord and Savior!!! After home school, Xavier goes right back to the books!!! He’s like a little Daniel, except not as paranoid and less prone to doomsaying!!!

Naomi’s bees are coming along!!! We’ve still lost money buying that, but it’s nice to see Naomi think she’s saving the bees :-)

She’s such a huge help with the littles!!!! As soon as Bethany turned two, Naomi taught her how to walk!!!

All and every praise be unto the Lord, our God!!!!!! Jin has finally, FINALLY proposed to Irene, and she FINALLY agreed to get married!!!!!! At 25, Irene sure took her sweet time!!!! There’s no way to get back the birthing years she lost due to her Satan-gifted pickiness, but hopefully she’ll have lots of multiples to make up for it!!! I know God has His plan to make Irene the wife and mother she was meant to be, and I’m so very glad He is finally putting it into action!!!!

Naomi also deserves a congratulations! A good Christian boy, Louis Baldwin, asked to court Naomi and Jeb approved!! Best wishes to the new couple!!!!

Congratulations to Mary!!!! The pastor’s son, Joshua Bunch, asked Mary to court!!!! The two of them haven’t spoken much, but Mary and Jeb were pleased to agree!!!!

Ulysses is certainly a jack of all trades!!! When he isn’t climbing around with Oliver, he’s playing chess with Tanny!!!!

Of course, I have plenty of children that prefer less scholarly and less creative pursuits!!! Kayla is a social girl, and when she isn’t cleaning she’s on the phone with her gal pals!!! Friendships will be very hard to make and maintain after marriage and motherhood, but that doesn’t mean she can’t pursue them now!!!

When Naomi isn’t doing her chores, she’s taking pictures and cracking jokes!!! She’s such a fun little girl and truly embodies Live Laugh Love!!!!

We can’t forget Oliver!!! When he isn’t asserting his authority over his sisters, he’s on the monkey bars!!! I’m very happy to see him choose bettering himself over putting others down!!! He’s such a tough little man and will make a strong and manly headship one day!!!

It seems like everybody’s a musician nowadays!!! Mary’s been dabbling in violin, and she sounds amazing!!!

Janie Pancakes still visits often to play with Kayla!!! They have such a strong and Godly friendship :-D

I don’t know what the girls said to Naomi, but the change is miraculous!!! She still suffers from Satan’s anxiety, but she’s willing to enter the laundry room and even touch the washing machine!!! Mary and Julie assure me that Naomi will be drying clothes in no time!!! Isn’t our God amazing???

Sometimes I feel as if God has cursed me!!! Christian and the triplets are all young adults with zero courtships!!! I pray that Christian will call with that special announcement, but he never does!!! I pray Glenn will get over Nicola and find a new girl, but he won’t!!! I pray that Harvey agrees to date the girls I send his way, but he refuses!!!

And Irene... oh, Irene!!!! She’s so obsessed with her silly violin that she can’t see how old she’s becoming!!! She is 19 years old already and isn’t getting any younger!!!!! If she keeps refusing to enter a courtship, she’ll end up an old maid and won’t be able to embrace God’s greatest blessing to women - children!!!! If she doesn’t have a man by her twenties, I’ll be forced to ban her violin until she does!!!!

Even Julie’s entered a courtship before any of them!!!! Just today, Jeb approved a match between Julie and a church boy named Kirk Rogers!!! Courtship’s so easy, yet I have four children (!!) that just won’t do it!!!

Courtships aren’t the end of my woes!!! Ever since the “laundry incident”, Naomi has been terrified of going near the laundry room!!! I’ve been trying to gently explain to her that her fears are from the Devil and that by refusing to do laundry she’s giving in to sin, but it just makes her more upset!!! Julie and Mary usually do laundry with her, so I’ll have them talk to Naomi and pray they’re able to speak God back into Naomi’s heart!!!!
