Berlin (2023) fresh, vague-ish impressions

All in all? Fun. Ridiculous in parts. Enjoyable. Did I mention ridiculous?

TL;DR - Throughout the whole series, Berlin has a little devil on one shoulder (the thief in him) and a literal erect penis on the other driving all his dumbass decisions.

It's uncanny how much Berlin, with his high-tech creeping and immediately falling in deep and obsessive love reminds me of Joe from You. Although the relationship does provide with moments of hilarity and entertainment (and Camille looks so much like Tatiana I can't)

This Year as a WiP ...

I hadn't been posting much in the past year, and frankly, was dealing with some personal issues.

So, trying to hold myself accountable to getting back into the swing of things! I'm putting it out here as to what I am working on next:

FTH Art for 2023

2022 Year of the Crack Fic winner(s) gifts

(I Love You) Infinitely fic wrap up (3-5 chapters to go)

Sleepless in London fic wrap up (23-30 chapters to go), outline reworked on flash cards and ready to be drafted.

Audio recording (short fic/poem) to test setup for Juxtaposition continuation.

As for the rest of my 150+ plot bunnies and WiPs ... I realised that even if I only post 1 thing per week, that's 52 posts per year! And I think that's not too shabby.

As of this post, I'm officially disregarding calendars and my year begins today.

So it seems the consensus is that at the start of Bad Buddy, Pat and Pran are somewhere in the second half of their first year at university (mainly because the time-skip at the start of ep 7 does say 'year 2'). And that either the production team took artistic liberties with the wardrobe so that the characters could have more distinguishing clothes than just the usual black and white, or that by this point in the year their 'uniform' does allow for different coloured pants, shirts, and the blue/red jackets anyway.

Istanbul pt 2

#1. we got invited for dinner at this guys house (my dad met him 2 years ago when he was in Turkiye) and it felt like we were back in #Afghanistan. just their house and the way they were living (most of the things we are during dinner they had grown themselves) and after #dinner we sat outside their house. there was a breeze and we had dried fruits + tea while it slowly got dark outside and it truly felt like #one of the evenings we had in Afghanistan when we would visit #2. my brother tied to per about every single cat he saw in the city lol #3. I’ve become friends w the daughters of my dads long time friend. a few weeks back she posted this home made drink on her IG story #so I replied that it looked good and she promised she’d make it for me when we came to visit. so when we actually went to their house #(I had long forgotten about the drink) she actually went and made the drink for me 🥺 so sweet #6. I just loooooove it when the sun is glistening on water #maybe u can tell since my profile pic has been just that for probably more than 6 years now #jrnl
