You guys wanna know which moment in Atlas Complex actually made me break down? Like, up to this point I had been screeching and cursing and laughing and at some point my heart was just hurting in this dull way that makes everything feel numb. But the point at which I actually started SOBBING VIOLENTLY and ugly crying was the last Reina chapter. Specifically the last page or so. Maybe it was just the compiled sense of doom up to that point or the little sliver of an understated sense of hope and optimism that it gave me. It was so painful and precious and we need to talk about it more in my opinion.

Not only would I NOT do ALL THIS just to escape "femaleness," because

One, I still get shit for being AFAB and anti-female laws and violence still affect my ass. And two, now I experience sexism AND transphobia ON TOP of all my other issues.

Sexist men still hate me. Me transitioning didn't change that. Evil people (people who hate women and AFABs) DONT FUCKING CARE that I'm actually a man. They literally do not care. The "to escape sexism" thing makes no sense, especially to say to a STRANGER.

A fandom friend who is no longer on tumblr very wisely said that Nick is who they want us to believe Archie is. Like we know the RD writers attempt at writing Archie as a genuinely good guy, loyal, kind, caring, a bit selfish sometimes but learns from his mistakes. The guy who wants to help the town.
