Greetings Nerds
Go ahead, put anything.
Hello nerds, Tumblr is a suspicious stew, a double S, makes me think that I'm old, ya knownamean. This post is 99.37% likely the best post that will ever exist on Tumblr.com on pingledoofus account. Anyway, I believe that Tumblr is causing climate change, because no trees are being planted via this world wide webpage. Other than that, I conclude that this post is now complete, as I have clearly proven accurate statements and also currently are in possession of the greater elevation. =)

sorry for the stupid question, but said stupid question is about your comic commissions. by '$5/per page', do you mean per page (as in images, with each image containing however many panels/panel-like things) or per panel (squares/rectangles that provide flow and contain text and stuff)? sorry i. really don't know how to word this and describe what i want to describe lol. for example, if a comic is two pages (as in, two images within a post) but has four panels (two panels in each page), would it be $10 or $20?
Tumblr media
Hi hi!
Thank you so much for asking. No, it isn't a stupid question and I understand how some people might get confused about it.
$5/page means $5 a page, no matter how many panels
Usually in comic commissions, I get a scene and I decide how many panels in a page so that I can work with the flow of the comic. Due to that, I end up making more pages than what I might have expected to make the flow more natural!
Which is why, it's also important to
Set a budget
And I mean it! You should set a budget, for example $35-$40 (7-8 pages) and I'll see what I can do with the scene. It's only a budget and if the scene is small, I might be able to cut it to $30 or even $25!
However, you cannot expect me to do a whole large-scale scene with only say, $15 or $20 as your budget. I won't have enough room to draw your characters conversing mid-fight and then experiencing betrayal during a battle riddled with backstory
If you wonder why prices are so cheap... Well, I'm not really from the US and I base the pricing on my living conditions and on how much I would charge where I live. I thought it would be fair for you guys too. Those living in the US and outside of the US (like I do).
Also, I'm not a professional. I do these in my spare time away from school lmao
Hope that helps! :D

In honour of “White-Guys-Decided-They-Had-Enough-Oppression-From-The-Other-White-Guys-Thousands-Of-Miles-Away-And-Thought-Oppression-Closer-To-Home-Was-Better-And-Decided-To-Fight-A-War-About-It-And-Call-It-Independence” Day, I have compiled a short list of songs about the “glorious” state of the (barely) United States, aptly dubbed “American’t”. Naturally it consists of protest songs and such.
Enjoy, especially those lucky enough to not be American.

Find it so interesting how people hate the law because it seems so against them, yet fail to see the ways in which the law works against the systems that attempt to exploit people, and thus works for them. Of course, law is never perfect, and there's a lot of injustices and disadvantages; no doubt about it. But it is just very funny how personal people seem to take it. Some might argue that law should be more personal, should accommodate specifically for every minute circumstance. Others will argue that law is a little like an indiscriminate blade that will cut regardless of whose blood is drawn, that it is black and white, right and wrong. We aim for the middle ground between personal and the law. Perhaps one could argue that the law serves whoever knows how to wield it. Whoever can pay for someone who knows to wield it. Therefore, law itself is actually rather neutral, and it is the hand holding the blade that decides the nature of how it is used. How, then, can you hate the law? Can you, or should you, truly hate something you do not understand? Do you hate the law, or do you hate the ones wielding it?
