#Went to Confession (again)#am still at my most miserable and confused#look I am aware I cannot ask of the priest to tell me <<oh that was only a venial sin you needn't mind>>#but it's also just really freaking hard when you just cannot tell a venial sin from a mortal one#and I know - I know - if you looked at it my attitude towards life is pretty dumb#to write a scathing report: i view life as a path of least resistance. Headcanons: First Date + First Kiss (Part One)
Headcanons for what I think the characters would do for a first date, and how I think the first kiss would go. - Part One
Part Two (Fanboy, Bob, Coyote and Phoenix)
Pairings: Jake "Hangman" Seresin x Reader; Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Reader; Pete "Maverick" Mitchell x Reader; and Tom "Iceman" Kazansky x Reader - All GN!Readers
Warnings: Kissing, if it wasn't obvious lol. Nothing else I can think of.
Tumblr media
Jake "Hangman" Seresin:
First Date:
You would think Jake would be a classic romantic and go with a romantic candle lit dinner.
But actually, for your first date, you would have a nice, casual early dinner at a cute cafe at first.
The table was outside on cute deck, where you had a nice view of the beach. You'd spend the time sharing stories and talking about places you had traveled to and places you wanted to see.
Jake would hint that he had something else planned for later, but would not tell you what.
After you were done eating, the two of you walked along the beach, where he was purposefully leading you somewhere.
Surprise! Horse-riding along the beach at sunset!
If you had never ridden a horse, he helped you to mount and get comfortable with the reigns.
If you were already comfortable riding, he would bombard you with questions about how and why.
It was a slow and nice ride down the beach, the sunset casting red and oranges along the water.
The whole date would feel straight out of a romance novel.
He would often ride close beside you, and your legs would often brush lightly together (yes, this was on purpose)
When the sun was set, and the date was over, he would drive you home.
As much as he would love to kiss you after the first date, he did not. And instead settled for a kiss on the back of your hand.
First Kiss:
The first kiss came after the second date.
Which was now, the romantic candlelit dinner.
At the front door when he drops you off, you have a short conversation about how much you are enjoying your time together.
There is obvious tension between you, both of you feeling the same anticipation.
He is cocky and flirty, and slowly gets closer and closer to you the more he talks.
You are leaning against the doorway as he does this.
Finally, when he is only a couple inches away, his eyes flick down to your lips, and he slowly closes the space between you.
The first kiss is slow yet passionate, lasting about a minute, in which you had to break away to breath.
He would toy with the idea of inviting himself in, but would not. Instead promising you a third date soon, which would also trigger the beginning of your actual, long-lasting relationship.
-----
Tumblr media
Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw:
First Date:
Bradley is not one for boring dinner dates.
So, he drives you out to a carnival/fair to spend the day having fun.
You cannot walk past a carnival game without trying it out.
Needless to say, by the end of the date you have way too many stuffed prizes.
You tried a variety of fair foods, and made bets with each other for who wins and who loses games. The losers had to eat the weirdest foods you could find. There were a lot of pickled and fried foods eaten that day.
He would try and drag you onto the scariest looking rides, and you would force him to ride the more mundane ones.
Seeing him riding the bright pink unicorn on the carousel was your favorite moment, and you definitely got a picture.
On the teacups, he purposefully spun the cups as fast as he could - no only to make you freak out and get dizzy, but mostly to make you cling on to him.
You spent the whole day laughing and having fun, and by the time the sun started to set, you were exhausted in the best possible way.
First Kiss:
As goofy and fun as he is, Bradley is a romantic, and he has always had a desire to kiss someone at the top of a Ferris Wheel.
So, the last thing the two of you did on your carnival date, was the Ferris Wheel.
He sat in the seat beside you, rather than across. He laid his arm across your shoulders, so you were close to him.
You knew about the romantic trope of a kiss at the top of the Ferris Wheel, and were anticipating whether of not it would happen, and hoping it definitley would.
When the Ferris Wheel stopped with you at the top, you admired the scene around you, all the while, Bradley's eyes were on you.
When you caught his gaze and he smiled, you felt butterflies erupt, sending a shiver through your whole body.
You knew he was going to kiss you.
When he did, he cupped your chin in his hands and leaned into you.
The kiss lasted until the Ferris Wheel started moving again.
When you broke apart, you were both smiling like idiots, foreheads still pressed together.
Bradley insisted on one more trip around on the Ferris Wheel, just so he could kiss you again.

Tumblr media
Pete "Maverick" Mitchell:
First Date:
For your first date with Pete, he would take you on a ride on his motorcycle, to a nice little restaurant out of town.
He had discovered it when he went on a ride, and knew you would like it.
It was a small place, very few people there, and all of them were nice, and complemented you on being a cute couple.
There was a jukebox in the corner, that he would queue up a bunch of songs on, many he knew you liked.
When you were done eating, he "forced" you to dance with him. Meaning he took your hand and lead you to the empty dance-floor, with a wide and enticing smile.
You danced to a couple of songs, talking and gazing into each others eyes the whole time.
When the sun began to set, you would leave the restaurant and drive to a nearby peak.
You sat on the edge, legs dangling over, the beach view below you paired with the sunset.
You didn't leave until the sun had disappeared. He gave you his jacket to wear during the drive back, knowing it would be a lot colder now that it was dark.
By the time you got home, it was late. He jokingly asked if you were going to invite him inside. You didn't, but he left with a quick kiss to your cheek.
First Kiss:
Your first kiss didn't happen on an official second date, but after you decided to meet up at the beach.
He told you about his day, his training, and how much he loved flying. You told him your goals, and all the places you wanted to see.
Eventually, your conversation become more playful and joking, even more so when you found an abandoned football.
You tossed it to each other a few times as you continued to talk and tease each other.
After you caught the ball, and you teased him for having a weak throw, he began to chase you.
Tackling you (softly) to the ground, you were left giggling, and he was watching you with an adoring smile.
When you locked eyes, lying in the sand, he would reach over and brush some sand off your face.
Then, quicker than you were expecting, he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to your lips.
When he broke away, he apologized, saying he just felt the overwhelming urge to kiss you.
You smiled and told him it was alright, you felt it too.
Pleased with this, he asked if he could kiss you again, to which you obviously said yes.
------
Tumblr media
Tom "Iceman" Kazansky
First Date:
Your first date with Tom would be at his place, where he would cook you dinner himself.
He'd allow you to help, chopping, stirring, taste-testing, but he mainly cooked the dish himself. Wanting not only to impress you, but to "sweep you off your feet".
You bonded over favorite dishes and foods, also judging (in a playful way) each others likes and dislikes of certain cuisine.
There was a small food fight at one point, which only included the remnants of vegetables as you made the salad.
The whole date felt very domestic and soft, but you were already so comfortable with Tom that there was nothing awkward about it. You could only describe it as feeling "right".
The two of you are dinner out on his deck/balcony. Sitting together well after you were done eating, and the sun had set long before.
When it got late, and it was time for you to leave, you were both silently disappointed.
You left, giving him a kiss on the cheek. And he said goodbye with a promise of another date soon.
First Kiss:
The first kiss between you and Tom did happen during your second date.
This time, you went out to eat at a fun restaurant/bar, where there was singing and dancing.
You spent a lot of time laughing and talking, eating, and playing bar games.
Later in the night, the crowd died down and the loud music turned into softer more romantic music.
You and Tom danced together for a while, heads gently touching as you swayed, eyes closed.
After a few songs, he pulled you closer and told you how much he loved being around you.
He would try to keep his eyes from flicking to your lips, but failed miserably when you noticed he did it every few seconds.
Eventually the tension was too much, and you had a moment when your eyes met, and you knew you both wanted to kiss.
He would inch slower closer, his lips brushing yours gently, before he initiated the full kiss.
It was slow and passionate, and he brought both his hands to your face as he deepened the kiss.
You were both too caught up in each other to remember you were in public.
When the song ended, you two left the dance floor and the bar, hand in hand, and happier than ever.
xx End xx
Hope you enjoyed! I already have the second part with the other characters outlined, so it should be out soon! (It will be linked at the top when it is posted)

Tumblr media
“He’s here again."
Sighing heavily, you spin around, running your hands through your hair. Not that you cared what it looked like, of course. Why would you?
“Is he headed this way?”
“No, it looks like he’s headed towards fiction, turning down..” Ara pauses, eyes scanning the room, “the literature aisle - classics, to be specific.”
“Great.”
Ara keeps her gaze trained on her mark, angling her body towards you. “What do you think he’ll bring you today?”
“As if I care,” you scoff, moving over to the restock cart and busying yourself by grabbing a stack of books to plop down next to your computer. You had already organized and prepped most of these already, but no one else knows that. “Believe it or not, my work day does not evolve around what’s-his-face showing up unannounced-”
“-his name is Jinyoung, and you know that-”
“-and I have important things to attend to. He’s just another customer, nothing else.”
You can feel her glare boring into your skull, but you refuse to give in to meet it. If you do, you’ll see the disbelief and frustration in her eyes, which will be an open invitation for Ara to give you yet another one of her famous ‘You Need To Live Your Life’ speeches, which you have no patience for today.
She finally shrugs her shoulders, turning to grab the empty cart. “Whatever you say, dear. I’m off to get the books from the front drop off,” she glides away, the cart squeaking at her increased pace, “have fun with Jinyoung!”
Closing your eyes, you inhale deeply, wondering how long it’ll be before the man in question comes striding up to your desk, a book tucked under his arm and a disarming smile in tow.
He had been coming into your library now for what felt like years, but in reality was only a few weeks. You aren’t sure what started his interest in you - his first day in your check out line had been a brief and altogether forgettable encounter - but since that day, he has come in three times a week like clock work. He always returns a book, spends anywhere between fifteen and twenty minutes pursuing the stacks, fingers dragging against the spines, seemingly searching for something. And then he finds you, regardless of what floor you are working and what your current task is, and chats you up while you scan his library card, shuffling him out the door as quickly as you can.
Conversation started off innocent at first, usually small talk about whatever read he had just finished and dropped off in the return box. You pride yourself on being polite and professional, even if it was clear he had other intentions. But it was when he began asking more about you, inquiring about your days off  that you felt your hackles raise. The next time he returned a book, he skipped the pleasantries, instead leaving you with a wink and a slip of paper with his phone number inside the pages, right next to the author note.
‘Go on a date with me?’
Such a simple phrase shouldn’t have caused such havoc in your life, and yet here you were.
Your traitorous co-workers all though it was so sweet, so romantic how he pursued you. Nevermind that he had the face of the type of man who has done this before, who likely has a contact list a mile long of names attached to pretty women that would all fawn over him at a moment’s notice. Or the fact that he clearly came from money; his designer peacoats and dress shirts always crisp, clean, and the complete opposite of anything you owned.
No, this wasn’t a budding romance - if anything, it was a classic case of a man who liked the chase, even if you refused to run.
The clearing of a throat pulls you from your thoughts, eyes snapping to address the intruder. “Can I help you with something?”
“Hi, yes you can. I’d like to check out this book, please.” Jinyoung smiles brightly, eyes dancing with mirth. He’s dressed in a warm khaki color sweater today, the tips of a white collar peeking out of the neckline and tucked into his perfect pressed slacks. He’s handsome, and you both know it.
Seemingly catching you staring, he raises a brow in question, one that you promptly ignore. Instead, you hold out your hand impatiently, waiting for him to share which novel he’s going to try to use to impress you with today. When you glance down at the title, your eyebrow raises.
“The Ghost Bride, hmm? Doesn’t really seem like your type,” you mutter, taking the book and flipping it to scan it. His library card awaits beside it, the elegant script of his signature seemingly taunting you. “Are you sure you didn’t mean to pick up something else? I can show you where the picture books are-”
“Nope, this was the right one. I’m just following your recommendations, you know. This was your pick of the week.”
You scowl, swiping his card under the scanner before grabbing the automatically printed receipt, sliding his items back towards him across the counter. You had forgotten about the ‘See What Our Librarians Recommend!’ board that Mark had put up earlier in the week in an attempt to engage more with the customers. There hadn’t been much thought behind your pick other than it was one you enjoyed; getting immersed into other cultures and their traditions one of the easiest ways to relax your mind. But now you felt self conscious, like he was peering into your head.
You shake the thought away, turning back to your screen. “Yes, I’m aware of that. Well, have a nice day, I gotta get back to work.”
“Have you thought about the answer to my question?”
Jinyoung is still waiting at the counter, a small but earnest smirk tugging at his lips, eyes locked on to yours. If you didn’t know any better, you would think his curiosity was genuine with how he stared, how kind he was.
But you knew better.
“Yes, and the answer is no. I’m not looking to date right now,” you huff, breaking his gaze once more. There was something intense about how he looked at you, and it made your nerves dance under your skin.
“May I ask why?”
Sighing, you close your eyes, counting the breath as you pull it into your lungs. What a loaded question. There were thousands of answers, a multitude of reasons why it was a bad idea to accept a date from the handsome stranger that frequents your library. Which would be acceptable to share; that you’ve had your heart broken more times than you care to admit, and don’t want to be hurt again? That you’re too immersed in your work and your goals that you don’t have time for a relationship? Or that you spend your days lost between the pages of books, delving into new worlds and reading about loves so pure and avowed that you know anything you come across in real life will be a disappointment?
Instead of those truths, you give him a tight smile. “Because I don’t know you, and you haven’t earned one yet.”
There was an unspoken challenge in those words, but you didn’t care. You knew that Jinyoung with his pretty face and captivating charm would give up soon, and when that time came, you’d breathe a sigh of relief and continue about your life just as it was before he came in it.
“I get it, you don’t trust me,” he looks down at his shoes, inhaling deeply before returning his amber eyes to you. “But I’m serious. I’ll prove it to you.”
He stands there a beat more, as if he wanted to be sure you understood his promise before turning and walking away, giving a final grin over his shoulder.
You should’ve known it wouldn’t be that easy.
Tumblr media
The harsh refusal of his proposal didn’t deter Jinyoung in the least, if anything, it renewed his commitment. He continued his visits to the library, this time determined to speak with you more, get to know you better. He had befriended Mark shortly into his endeavors and your traitorous coworker had told him everything he knew about you - favorite foods, your favorite color, sweets you indulged on when the mood was right. And Jinyoung had weaponized this information, bringing you Peruvian lilies  in the palest of lilacs, leaving tiny boxes of nougat de montelimar on your cart on top of the books for you to find.
Each time he came to your check out line, he was prepared with a new book and more questions, always briefly discussing his thoughts on the novel before peppering you with inquiries about anything from mundane preferences to how your parents were doing.
The most infuriating part was it was working. The once practiced guard you had built around yourself slowly coming undone piece by piece, day by day as Jinyoung gave you patient smiles and cheeky winks. Your heart was softening to his antics, and soon you caught yourself thinking about what a date with him would be like, how being the sole object of his affections somewhere that isn’t covered in a fine line of dust and doesn’t smell like old books would make you feel.
It’s this train of thought you’re lost in when he strides up to your counter, another book in his arms, face lighting up once he sees you.
“Hi, beautiful. Just this for me today,” he murmurs, placing the book he selected directly into your hands instead of on the counter as usual.
You didn’t have to look at the cover to know which novel he’d handed you, the story itself being so familiar that you could recognize it by the weight of it in your hands alone. “You’re telling me you haven’t read The Great Gatsby before?”
He chuckles then, head ducking down sheepishly. “Ah, it was one of those we had to read in school ages ago, but I don’t really remember it. I wasn’t as into books back then.”
You nod, remembering how your peers didn’t seem to be as obsessed with reading as you had been. “That’s fair. This is one of those that the meaning tends to be lost on a bunch of teenagers, anyway.” Scanning the book and his card, you place it back in his open palm, feeling like you were giving him a tiny piece of your heart.
“I decided to give it another shot - since it's your favorite, and all.”
Warmth spreads in your cheeks and you wonder briefly if he notices the way you fight a smile. It had been a passing comment, something said while he watched you restock the non fiction section one afternoon, but the fact he remembered caused something in your chest to ache.
“Well, let me know what you think. I mean, if you’re able to follow along, that is.”
His slow smirk transforms into a beaming smile, his face softening as he tucks the novel under his arm. “I think I’ll manage. I’ve been able to keep up so far,” his gaze drops to drag over your form before meeting your eyes. “And I’ve been loving every minute.”
He wasn’t talking about books, and the thought had you floating on air for the rest of your shift.
That night, when you’re safely tucked into bed and far away from the library, you grab the wrinkled slip of paper and type Jinyoung’s number into your phone.
Tumblr media
The metal of the old bookcase was ice against your bare skin, back arching up as you lick into Jinyoung’s mouth. What started off as a gentle press of lips in the back stacks of the reference section quickly intensified when his tongue sought yours, the kiss hungry and dripping of pent up desire.
You hadn’t planned on anything happening, only wanting the abandoned aisles so that you could accept his date offering without your coworkers lurking, not wanting to do it over text. However you didn’t account for Jinyoung’s excitement, the way he looked like he won the lottery when you told him before swiftly backing you into the shelves in a heated kiss - not that you’re complaining.
His body is firm as he presses into you, hands cupping your cheeks in a gentle way that offset his fervent exploration of your mouth. You melt under his touch, body seeking him like a moth to flame, unwilling to leave his warmth.
“Jinyoung,” you breathe, pushing him away from your lips. “We probably shouldn’t do this here.”
He chuckles, a hand snaking around your waist to tug you close once more. “Probably not. But you have no idea how long I’ve been dying to do that.”
“Do what? Fondle me in a dusty library?”
He shakes his head lightly before leaning in, his mouth inches from your own, the look in his eyes seizing the air in your lungs. “He knew that when he kissed this girl, and forever wed his unutterable visions to her perishable breath, his mind would never romp again like the mind of God.”
Swallowing thickly, you ignore the painful gallop of your pulse, the way your defenses seem to crumble each time you’re in his presence. You don’t tell him how much it means to you that he didn’t give up, that he did all of these things just to earn your trust. That he put in so much effort to learn everything about you, took time to memorize the lines from your favorite novel just to make you smile.
Instead, you look up at him through heavy lashes, an easy grin on your lips.  “Did you just quote ‘The Great Gatsby’ at me?” Giggling, you swat his arm. “That was a little cheesy.”
Jinyoung just meets your gaze, says everything with how he peers into your eyes without saying anything at all. “It only gets better from here, trust me.”

Crushing Fear
wow can you believe I’m posting one of my fics on tumblr? me neither.
Tags: prinxiety, love confessions, some point close after FWSA, flower language, some swearing, and light angst but mostly fluff (oh and I throw shade at Janus).
Summary: Virgil didn't even remember how long he had spent repressing his dumb crush, but with Thomas falling in love, it felt harder to ignore the feelings welling up in his chest. All he knew was that he couldn't admit it out loud. Luckily for him, Roman was a romantic who couldn't stand to let a chance at love go uninvited, even if he didn't always feel deserving of it.
Word count: 3334
I’ll reblog with ao3 link since I know tumblr is dumb about it :)
There were a lot of things Virgil loved about Roman. He loved the way Roman would push back his hair whenever he caught a glimpse of himself or felt nervous and he loved the way it always fell in his face again. He loved the way his eyes lit up when Virgil asked about a show or a musical he knew the prince liked. To be honest, it was hard to think of something he didn't love. Even things he once thought were annoying had become endearing to him.
It didn’t matter. He had a reputation to at least try to maintain, he’d already gone so damn soft around the others since the light sides and Thomas came to get him back and Roman made that sweet little speech in the darkness of his room.
“You make us better.” It was like a song he played on repeat. At the time, Roman was the last person he expected to convince him that this could be his home – his family – but somehow he did. He may have been a jerk early on, but maybe, Virgil thought, he really was a knight in shining armor. Roman was more like him than he once thought; using fake confidence to cover up insecurities was nothing new.
And now, years later, here he was lying in bed like a yearning gay fool with music that wasn’t loud enough to block out his thoughts. He figured his little crush would be something that he could just hide away until it wasn’t even there. That plan was failing horribly though, especially when Roman could steal his breath by just looking at him. He didn't know how to handle feelings that felt bigger than himself.
Would it be smart to try something now? Probably not. What would he even do? Roman always talked of big, grand gestures that could literally and figuratively sweep one off their feet. Virgil didn’t consider himself good at plenty of things, and wooing someone like he was in a movie happened to be on the list. The farthest he'd gotten with confrontation was making Thomas talk to Nico, all because he couldn't stand to see Roman so heartbroken. He could feel the darkness below his eyes lighten to that embarrassingly glittery purple at the memory of how proud Roman was.
But Roman was Creativity and had his own little kingdom in the imagination. Virgil was sure that if he wanted a boyfriend he could just make the man of his dreams who would do anything and everything for him without the slightest hesitation. It seemed existence wasn’t fair like that.
He could just barely hear a knock sounding at the door, Virgil's eyes immediately darting over to where the sound had come. He debated whether or not he should respond. It wasn’t as if he didn’t like his friends, but his same old avoidant tendencies from before never went away.
“Virgil?” Roman asked. His voice making Virgil freeze and want to melt away at the same time. “Are you awake?”
Fuck, shit, some other words Patton would disapprove of. What time was it? 1:30? He couldn’t blame Roman for assuming he was still out, especially since it was the truth not too long ago. He almost felt sorry for his sleep schedule, but there wasn’t much he could do about it. No matter how hard Logan tried to help he always found himself digging through the kitchen at 5 in the morning, and not because he was an early riser. He paused his music, hanging his headphones on his headboard. Listening to Sally’s Song for the 17th time could wait for later.
He heard Roman laugh, and it felt like roses.
“That’s alright. If anyone here knows anything about beauty sleep, it’s me. The glasses gays are insisting that I awaken the beast though, so you better at least have something on before I barge in.”
Virgil wasn’t sure if Roman was talking to himself or knew he was being heard. He just burrowed deeper under his covers. He didn't want Roman to find him awake and think he was ignoring him, even if it was kind of the truth.
The door creaked. It sounded like something from a shitty horror movie. The heavy footsteps didn’t make it any more calming either. Roman was never this quiet. He refused to open his eyes, even as his blanket was pulled away from his face. He couldn’t stop the sharp intake of breath as he felt cool air shock his skin.
“Awh, c’mon! I’m the actor here. Your eyes were closed too tight, for one thing,”
Virgil sighed, opening his eyes and squinting at the light. “I thought you were here to wake me up, not give me acting lessons.”
“Good morning to you too, Mourning Glory. It’s not my fault if you want to hide away all day, I’m just giving tips on being more realistic.”
Virgil rolled his eyes, biting the inside of his lip to resist smiling. Wanting to stay calm as if he knew what he was doing.
“You’ve teased me about being a vampire before. Can’t I play the part?”
“Oh, trust me, you’re perfect for the role. Sadly for you, there are two very insistent Sides saying you have to be a real functioning part of the mind, so unless you want me to carry you out there and make a whole scene, you better come down on your own.”
Virgil sighed, rolling onto his back as his eyes adjusted to the light. The two stared at each other. Testing each other. Not getting out of bed never sounded more tempting.
He gave in, rambling. “Sure, okay, whatever.” He sighed, reaching out and taking hold of Roman’s hand, letting the prince pull him upright. Whether it was he or Roman who ended up bringing them so close was something he could stay up late thinking about later. Now wasn’t the time to focus on rough palms or scarred skin that he once bandaged up while cursing out the ever-so-reckless Roman for sneaking out on quests, leaving Virgil to hunt him down with nothing but adrenaline and a certain level of knowingness in his dread.
He tried to bite back a yawn. His eyes widening at the warm feeling of a hand pressed to his face, of a thumb brushing lightly over his cheekbone. It wasn’t unwelcome, to be honest, he could probably fall back asleep just like this. He’d be okay waking up every morning if they were like this. If the romantic side offered it. If Virgil would allow himself to accept and experience it.
“How long have you been up?”
“Anywhere between 20 minutes to 2 hours. I don’t really know.”
Roman smiled, betraying the worried look in his eyes. It was probably just the effect of his room, that’s what Virgil hoped it was anyway. He tried not to show any disappointment when Roman’s hand fell to the bed.
“I’ll be down in a few,” Virgil continued, “just let me take care of my makeup first.”
Roman’s eyes trailed him as he got up and moved over towards his desk in the corner of the room, flicking on the light as he went by. Why is he fucking staring?
“While I’m here, I was wondering if you’d care to join me for a quest this evening? Or maybe we could throw a ball for the mind palace? I know it’s not your thing, but I thought it might be fun? Or y’know, something else more low-key.”
“Uh, yeah you know I’m not big on big things,” Virgil replied, looking over to the prince picking at a loose thread on the cuffs of his sleeves. “You know if you want to hang out you can just ask, you don't need some extravagant event going on to get me alone with you.”
Roman nodded, not seeming any calmer than before. Virgil's brows furrowed, worries flowed through him as if it were his blood. He didn't want to make Roman talk if he didn't want to, but god was it nerve-racking.
At the very least, it seemed like he wouldn't be putting on any more black eyeshadow to try and hide its changes.
Roman, on the other hand, decided not to question why the Side no longer seemed interested in putting his makeup on, and being grateful for the fact Virgil took advantage of the fact they could conjure themselves into different outfits rather than changing right then and there.
The two stayed there, an awkward silence taking over the room before a crash sounded from the living room.
“We should probably go.”
Virgil simply nodded, pulling his jacket tighter around as he followed Roman out of the room.
Luckily, the crash had only come from Patton knocking over a stack of DVDs, CDs, and a few other things. Another lost-glasses incident. It was a miracle nothing got broken.
The day itself would have felt completely normal if not for the fact Roman kept looking at him. Starting off as unsure as they did in his room, and slowly brightening like he had finally figured out a plothole in one of his stories. It was even more unsettling when he realized Roman was no longer there, vanished off to do god knows what.
So Virgil spent the next couple of hours trying to ignore the feeling of his fears eating him from the inside out like a moth to a sweater. He wouldn’t mind the holes if they didn’t leave him so uncomfortable. But then again, maybe that was fitting for his aesthetic. Torn-up shirts and jeans to pair with his torn-up emotions. At least he found solace in the darkness of his outfits.
It didn’t take long to get bored of the mundane mind palace.
Maybe I should take Roman up on that quest idea. He thought, his foot bounced, hanging over the side of the couch. Even if it wasn’t in his list of Shit Virgil Can Do Without Fucking Up, it was better than sitting around and waiting for nothing.
Virgil got up silently, giving a quick two-finger salute to Logan who had started reading some new detective novel before he sunk out. Appearing again before Roman’s door. Maybe he was just self-conscious, but it looked bigger than it was. Like behind it would be some hidden treasure that he finally reached.
It wasn’t entirely wrong. Roman was certainly someone to be treasured, even if he made mistakes. He just wished the other Sides would help him understand it.
He held his breath as he knocked, jolting back when it swung open almost instantly.
“You’re here!” Roman exclaimed, bouncing on his heels.
“Uh, yeah. I thought I’d take you up on your offer from earlier… if it’s still up, anyway.”
“Oh! Yeah, totally!” The prince tugged at his collar, not making eye contact. Virgil couldn’t help but smile slightly at the prince's giddiness. “I was just working on something if you’d care to see it?”
“You know I wanna see whatever you come up with, even if it’s some rewrite of Frozen.”
Roman bounced again, holding his hands out, palms up. He looked at Virgil with an emotion he couldn’t name, but it made him feel anxious in a good kind of way. Not anything like the dread he was used to. He placed his hands on Roman’s, and it wasn’t till they were sinking out and into the imagination that he realized it was the same kind of feeling from when Nico first texted Thomas about meeting up again. He held Roman’s hands a little tighter.
When he opened his eyes, they were surrounded by flowers.
“Woah…”
“Do you like it? I had to sneak into Logan’s room and borrow a few of his books.”
“I– yeah. It’s beautiful. And don’t worry, I won’t snitch.” He stepped away, wandering the circular little garden. He could only recognize so many. “Didn’t know you had a thing for landscaping.”
“I try my best. Honestly, I’m just happy neither of us has allergies.”
“Gosh, you’re such a dork.” Virgil laughed, petting the petals of a rose. Not paying attention to the way Roman watched him and shifted his weight every so often nor how warm his cheeks had become. “Do you know what any of them mean?”
“I do, but I think if I tell you, you’ll realize how predictable I am.”
“Go for it.”
“Well, roses are pretty well known. The red ones are anyway. Love, passion, romance, and courage. Things like that.” Roman said, walking closer. His boots clicking against the walkway’s pavement.
He stood close by yet just far enough for Virgil not to feel like he was being dissected under his gaze. It was an unreasonable thing to think after all the time they had spent becoming friends, he knew that. Yet part of him continued to scream that one day Roman would look at him and find out how horrible he thought himself to be and never want to be around him again. Maybe that was why he refused to confess just how much he liked Roman. It was a weight that crushed his chest every day yet made him feel dizzyingly light.
It was all too complicated.
“What about the purple ones?”
“It kind of varies by shade, but most of the time it’s about love at first sight or enchantment. A lot of the flowers here have to do with that sort of thing.”
“Yeah, should’ve been able to figure that one out myself.”
Roman shrugged. “It’s no matter, I just want to make sure you understand what they mean.” He looked to Virgil, again with that unnamed emotion. “You do get what I’m trying to say, right?”
For a moment, he hoped he did.
“Uh, yeah? Princey, I get it, you’re a hopeless romantic. You don’t have to spell it out for me.” He bit the inside of his lip, then asked. “What are they for?”
Roman looked at him with what he could only see as sympathy.
“I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I really do think you need it spelled out.”
Virgil scoffed, going to argue before he was cut off.
“First,” Roman began, reaching for Virgil’s hand, “You take him by the hand. That’s as far as you got before we both started screaming, anyway. So I suppose I’ll just have to wing it from here. I know I haven’t always been the best to you. I know I still make mistakes, and I really don’t want this to be one of them.”
“Roman–”
“I’m not finished. Virgil, out of all the other’s, you’re always the one who notices when I’m upset. You’re always the one who lets me bitch about Deceit without saying I was wrong for trusting him and then wrong for not. Really, you’re the only one I can bitch about the dark sides to, period. Logan is so reserved about it, and Patton is, well, he’s Patton. He tries to see the good in everyone.”
Roman paused, catching his breath. Virgil thought it best not to speak. He didn’t think he’d even be able to if he wanted.
“What I’m getting is that I trust you. I trust you because you’re my best friend and you listen to what I say even if it’s dumb. Because when I don’t feel like talking you're always down to just watch classic Disney movies and fill in coloring books. I know you don't realize it, but you do a hell of a lot more good than you believe, and I love you for that. You don’t have to say it back or even feel the same, I know you’re pretty reluctant about it. I just need you to know.”
Virgil stared at him, frozen like a deer caught in the headlights of love. Roman had said ‘I love you’ before, but not like this. What the fuck do you even do when your crush confesses they like you, more so, that you aren’t obligated to like them back? Complicated, and now surreal.
“You really mean it? All of it??”
“Of course I do, my Columbine Cutie! I could never lie to someone about love, I hope you know that.” Roman replied. Waving his hand as he conjured a mix of red and purple columbines, tucking them gently behind Virgil’s ear. Both knowing it was the truth, that Roman wouldn’t subject someone to such a thing because he knew how it felt.
But he still trusted Virgil with his love all the same. Trusted that it wouldn’t be taken advantage of or used against him.
“How long have you known?”
“You know, I think I fell for you far before I knew it.”
Virgil huffed a laugh. “Yeah, I uh… I think it was the same for me. Falling for you, that is.” God, it felt so weird to say it. Good, too. “I’m sorry I don’t know what to say. I never thought I’d end up here. I care about you too. I love you, I mean.”
And Roman… Roman just started to beam, shining like the sun as Virgil tripped over his words. He bounced, hands waving as he did. Despite his lingering fear, Virgil couldn’t stop the excitement Roman radiated and the wonder of it all from seeping in under his skin, a feeling like vibrations that he could only try to shake out. And there were hands cupping his face and there were words he didn’t hear. He still knew what they asked. “Fucking yes.” was all he could bring himself to give as a response before Roman’s lips were on his.
Strawberry chapstick and the faint scent of cherry blossom perfume were all that went through his head, it was the only thing that really could. He held onto Roman’s uniform like if he let go it would all disappear. Another dream reminding him of what he thought he couldn’t have.
When Roman pulled away and Virgil opened his eyes, he was still there.
He was real. Everything that had happened was real. He couldn’t help but giggle at how fantastical it was.
Roman brushed his bangs away, just enough to fully show his eyes. “Your eyeshadow changed again,” he announced, bouncing on his heels once again. Virgil groaned, turning away. “It’s a good look for you. Especially with how much you blush, my Lavender Love.”
“It’s embarrassing.”
“It’s adorable.”
Virgil knew from the grin on Roman’s face that it had only intensified.
“Whatever. I just– for what it’s worth– I appreciate it. All of this. I’d probably die never telling you shit about how I felt if you didn’t do it first.”
Roman softened, “Maybe, or maybe you’d end up pushing yourself like you did to Thomas. Either way, I’m happy with it if you are.”
Virgil nodded, the two going silent. Roman rocked back and forth still quietly bouncing, probably thinking of what to say next.
Slowly, Virgil opened his arms, smiling nervously to his crush– lover– whatever they were. He wasn’t all that open to touch, but Roman was so far off from everything else it didn’t matter. The prince smiled, pulling Virgil close to him and pressing a kiss to his magenta-colored hair.
“I’m happy to be your knight as long as you want me to be. Whatever it is that gets thrown our way, I’ll fight for you as you have for me. You deserve to shine every day like you are now.”
“Jesus, Princey. You already made your dramatic love declaration, but... thank you. I want you to be happy too.”
The two held each other, and for the moment, everything was okay. No dark sides, no fear, no challenging life debates. It was unescapable, of course, but it didn’t matter. They could survive and fight this hell of a world. They could make the other realize how lovable they were. Because they had each other.

For the kiss prompts, 20 or 33 with Magnus and Toki? But only if you wanna. :)
Nothing like a daily dose of Magtok :)
An unexpected kiss that shocks the one receiving it. Kissing in a stairwell, giving them an artificial height difference.
Enjoy!
When Toki suggested they visit the largest bookstore in the city, it was done more as an act of kindness towards Magnus, and less because he was genuinely curious to peruse three floors worth of dusty, old books. He barely read as it was, and only brought it up because Magnus let him pick what movie they were going to see when they visited the theater, and was super patient when he took him over to one of the few remaining music stores left in the state. Toki was surprised he even remembered the name, but Magnus shined at the idea, mentioning he could go for a few new reads.
Toki stood on his toes, peering over a row of dusty novels bearing forgettable names, wondering if he might accidentally stumble upon mouse, a spider’s web or perhaps some long-forgotten token–a keychain, a piece of jewelry or hidden note–left behind by some hypothetical being who also made the mistake of taking their boyfriend to a boring bookstore. He honestly had hoped that a massive bookstore would contain more than just…books. Sure, there was the obligatory magazine and music section tucked deep in the corner of the first floor, and it was one of the more louder sections, too; however, it proved only a brief reprieve from the impending boredom that had now consumed Toki’s soul.
The bookstore, despite its multiple levels, fancy lighting and pillars, recycled books sculpted into long tunnels and fancy designs, decorative art that covered the walls and filled the building with a warm, comforting glow, and the entire third floor dedicated to the arts, was still just a bookstore. Nothing changed the fact that the air tasted dry, that most of the books Toki picked up were boring and contained no captivating pictures, and that he had to maintain an “inside voice” while he waited for Magnus to sort through an ever-changing collection of novels.
Toki left the fantasy cubicle where he had sequestered himself in, turned a corner and, remaining partly hidden, viewed Magnus some several feet away. He sat on the floor, two books resting on top each leg, and silently analyzed each one, trying to determine the lucky cover that he’d take home. Toki had already attempted to use some of his allowance, but was immediately rejected, with Magnus reminding him Toki already spent money on tickets and several records, and didn’t want their manager hounding him for unnecessary spending again. A shame, because Toki just wanted to leave and return to the bustling streets. Hollywood was literally right around the corner, and Toki was spending its eve in a store he wasn’t even allowed to run around in, toss yarn, touch the paintings, or have fun.
Still, whether Toki wanted to admit it or not, there was something nice about seeing Magnus struggle over something as mundane as picking a silly book. Watching Magnus unconsciously nipping at his own lip, bringing a leg up to chest once he picked up a book, or playing with his own hair was a peculiar, but welcoming sight to behold. If only Toki hadn’t already spent nearly… forty-three minutes in this blasted store, he might have considered sneaking a photo of Magnus’ intense resolve as he discarded one book in favor of picking up a new title.
Instead, Toki just about had the right mind to call Abigail and ask if he could afford to buy the whole bookstore; that way, Magnus wouldn’t have to worry about having to decide anything!
It was a nice little fantasy, but even Toki couldn’t excuse such an extreme purchase, and over something as stupid as literature. Instead, he pulled himself off from the corner, and decided to try yet another secluded section of the expansive store and see if there might be anything to keep him sane for a few minutes longer.
He ended up in the early sci-fi section, and although Toki had no intent on reading anything, did find some solace in viewing the covers. The pictures of pale, big-headed aliens exiting long, phallic-like spaceships provided some amusement.
Toki was busy staring at a cover of some stereotypical American hero ogling a purple-skinned, but otherwise pretty alien, when a finger prodded his side. Toki squirmed, stumbling back as he recoiled from the surprise attack, and bumped right into Magnus.
An arm grappled around Toki. “What are you looking at?” Magnus asked, giving Toki a firm shake before setting him free.
Giggling, Toki rubbed his side and answered, “Nothins.” He noticed three books stowed under Magnus’ arm. “Oh, you founds somethins?”  he asked, feigning innocence, and trying desperately to not sound too helpful.
“Yeah, I did,” Magnus replied. The answer alone was a huge relief, but Magnus’ enthusiasm filled the otherwise still and stuffy atmosphere, and for a moment Toki didn’t think the store was too bad. If Magnus could find something worthwhile and smile at him like that, then perhaps the trip wasn’t a bust. “You find anything?”
Toki pulled a holographic bookmark from his pocket. “Just this books-mark.”
“I’ll take that,” Magnus said, snatching it up and stowing it into one of the book’s pages. “C’mon, let’s go.”
Never had such a plain statement sounded so sweet. “Alrights,” Toki said. He let Magnus take the lead, smiling at the way while Magnus talked about the ingenuity behind one of the author’s work, how literary theorists were still actively writing about the other, and although he hated the third, didn’t mind getting the book because it was second-hand. They descended the stair, and Toki kept nodding his head, not quite understanding what the heck Magnus was talking about, but was still pleased to see how excited Magnus got when talking about the cultural impact a book could have on society.
“Hey, stop for a second.”
“Hmm?”
Magnus remained put, three steps in front of Toki. Moreover, he was three steps beneath Toki, and with their current position, Toki hovered over Magnus by a good couple of inches.
Magnus pulled out his phone. “Here, get behind me,” he said, gesturing to Toki to move with the sway of his device. Confused, Toki rubbed the back of his head. The ends of Magnus’ mouth lifted in a sly smirk. “C’mon,” he said, “you’re telling me we’re about to go through an entire store decorated with sorta of crap without you stopping me for one of your selfies?”
The remark warranted a quick snort of the nose, and Toki humbly breaking into an embarrassed, but happily little smile. The bookstore did have a few locations that merited a snapshot, a romantic pose between partners, but Toki had been so bored he hadn’t really noticed until Magnus waved that glowing screen, calling him to position.
Bookstore or not, Toki wasn’t going to pass on the chance of having Magnus be the one to take a picture of them together. Toki stood behind Magnus, hands cupping his pointed shoulder before kneeling just a little so that their heads were aligned. To his continued pleasure, Magnus rubbed his cheek against his, scratching the side of his face with a rough tickle, then raised the phone, adjusting it accordingly so that it captured both their likeness.
“On the count of three,” Magnus slowly announced, and Toki’s already cheeky grin extended up to his ears as he prepared for Magnus’s index finger to snap the photo. “One…two...”
Toki held his breath, ready for the photo, when he felt that same scruff rub his face again, only this time it changed, going from rough to soft as Magnus turned, planting a sudden kiss on Toki’s unprepared cheek. His eyes widened, detecting that sudden transition, but not making complete sense of it until Magnus lips pushed against his skin, sending a surprise flutter of delight across Toki right as the camera took the photo.
Magnus removed himself from Toki before he had the chance to react. “Nice,” he announced, grinning smugly at Toki. His finger and thumb rolled over the photo, enlarging it and earning a somewhat cruel chuckle from the man. “How cute,” he said, then offered up the photo to Toki.
Fingers brushing over his cheek, Toki glanced at the picture, at himself and Magnus kissing him.
“Oh,” he said, voice turning a little faint. He took the phone in his hands, bringing it close to get a better look at it. It was slightly off, and when Magnus had turned to kiss him, must’ve shook the phone a little, because the surrounding lights had a mild blur to them. Still, Toki’s fingers tenderly brushed over the screen, thumb grazing over past-Magnus kissing his round cheeks, and past-Toki’s expression capturing that tickle, the simple pleasure of being an object of affection, reaching his heart. “Oh. Wowee.”
“A little gift for you, for being so patient with me,” he heard Magnus say.
Toki snapped up, feeling his heart tremble upon realizing he’d been caught. “Oh,” he said, voice dropping as he nervously shuffled in place. “Uhm…”
Magnus chuckled again, and if Toki didn’t know any better, was sure he saw the start of a blush before Magnus turned his back on him . “Don’t worry, I’ll still buy you the bookmark.”

☾  @roseofbaron:   aloe, belladonna, chrysanthemum, gladiolus, hydrangea, lavender, magnolia, oak, sage, zinnia  ☽  BOTANICAL HCS  :  accepting
aaahh a true bouquet !  watch me doing all of these I haven’t replied to yet because, one i’m thirsty for more chances to throw hcs at the dash, two the meme is good and all the questions are pretty interesting, tysm <3
belladonna :   how does your muse respond to silence ?   do they take comfort in soundlessness ,   or seek to fill the void with noise ?
He responds to silence quite well and always seemed to do as such, he enjoys peace and quiet and always did ever since he was a child. Having been raised inside a king’s castle must have been quite the experience for him, as a kid -- for it would rarely be completely silent and quiet as an ambience. Between meetings, feasts, banquets and all ceremonies and occasions pertaining to a monarch’s life, and Cecil growing up there from the very start, I can’t imagine him having the chance to enjoy silent spaces much; still -- !  his bedchambers reside on the west tower, the highest of the castle, away from sources of noise. It’s quite the solitary place too, away from the main halls, engulfed in silence basically all the time; having been its resident from childhood, Cecil grew to tolerate the tranquility it could offer him - while studying, while reading or thinking, or even practicing with his sword.
I’d call it comfort, simply because that’s the way he always lived. This doesn’t mean Cecil doesn’t enjoy the lively atmosphere a mundane / royal life could offer him, but being the reserved and quiet person himself, I see him enjoying peace more.
chrysanthemum :   how does your muse express romantic love ?  how do they feel about love as a concept ?
If Cecil represented a romantic concept, I’d say he could as well be courtly love personified. And I know it may sound boring and oh so called for, but I MEAN. He’s Cecil. A knight in a medieval setting who is feeling, at first, that he cannot be with the girl he loves for whatever reasons, that saves her life and rescues her from her kidnappers, to swear unending love by the end of the tale. A classic, Cecil would be a classic haha. So, I guess the term courtly love partly fits him.
By courtly love, though, I don’t refer to the literary or epic kind; he’d simply find love as a form of pure devotion, not assuming control of his heart in an impetuous or rebellious way -- which is nice regardless, he’s a kind type of lover, courteous indeed. For example, when he used to be a Dark Knight, he was not expected to stay with the one he loved; instead of rebelling against such rule, he simply accepted it, bowing his head for the ‘greater good’ and for peace and in the name of traditions; BU,T in his heart, he was still in love. And the feeling is there to stay...
Canonly, by what Kain says in the novel, actually, it seemed Rosa was the one to take the first step, when she started ‘looking at Cecil in a way she never did’, presumably when they were young teens. Cecil, at some point, with age, did come to realize he too felt something more for her; the curious thing, though, is that they never actually confessed. Maybe, true courtly love would have the knight confessing his passion, but Cecil doesn’t. He misses the chance and things get worse when he gets knighted a Dark Knight, at 15yos, the age where Baronian kids seem to reach adulthood officially. No, he kept the true nature of his feelings for himself, despite the truth being rumored and known. Kain knew it, Rosa’s mother suspected it, everyone could have seen it.
So, in these terms, it’s safe to assume Cecil keeps being the soft-spoken, tranquil lover. He doesn’t reveal his feelings if not at the very end, because he fears what it’d mean for the other’s reputation and honor -- those are pretty important things, for he would not tolerate himself or his love to be cause of pain or struggle. And so, being the reserved kind, he’d resort to subtle ways to express love, to court someone. Lingering gazes, gifts, to try and spend most of his spare time with them... you know he’d try to play or sing something, he’s no bard but he is the type.
Love is devotion and its shades and sides to permeate his life. Love for his partner, for his home, for his child, and for his brother too, nonetheless. He commits to it and seeks to protect it at all costs, sometimes even resulting as a bit oppressing -- but he’s on the purest and best intentions whenever that happens. Love is bliss. For someone who believed all his life to having been abandoned by his family, he finds the concept of love to be light incarnate too. After all, hadn’t his father loved him so, he wouldn’t have never become a paladin eheh
gladiolus :   describe a moment from your muse’s life that they will never forget.
One moment he’d never forget must definitely be the day when he officially went from being a squire to a knight. The same ancient trial all boys of Baron, while hoping to enlist into its military ranks, must partake at the coming of their 15th birthday - the same one Ceodore insists being part of, despite his title as prince. The task is not as simple as one would believe, especially for a kid so young and barely skilled with the true art of the sword: he must enter a cave, grab the so-called Emblem of Knighthood inside, defeat its guardian and emerge victorious, a true knight to Baron.
No child is told of said guardian though, it usually being a big sandworm trained to react and attack whenever anyone is about to pick the emblem. And, even better, no kid is told the famous emblem is nothing more than a mummified rat’s tail.
Eager to prove his worth, Cecil waited for the fated day with high expectations and premises, only to almost risk his life against the sandworm. He doesn’t remember much of that fight, but he does recall the final blow at the beast’s hellish muzzle and the initial disappointment in finding the tail; but the moment he returned home, to be officially and solemnly invested a knight by the King, -- ceremony followed by a banquet and feast, as tradition commands, especially for residents of the castle -- everything changed.
It was a big deal. The boy that always felt a foreigner, one of the very few lucky one to have been granted so much for so little in return, does finally feel part of the city, of its community and its military ranks. Plus, his adventure in the cave was a good story to tell companions and friends !
hydrangea :   how much does your muse value communication in their relationships with others ?  are they prone to being misunderstood ?
Quite a lot, but he wasn’t very skilled with words when very young. He got better as years passed, but his character too didn’t make things easier; he thinks communication is the basis of every sane and good relationships. Even in-game and ‘in-novel’, with Rydia, the first thing he does, when fleeing with her to Kaipo, is to try and communicate. To console her, to cheer her up the best he could -- despite the child’s reluctance and silence.
Even as king, he found the importance of communication to reign over mostly all of his relationships -- from work, to family. I’d say his toughest challenge on that front came from his son and his character, his ideas and projects for his own future; while on a side it makes him happy to see Ceodore growing up so sure of his own thoughts, despite his title and familiar ties, it also pains him to not being able to speak as much / of what he’d like to him (heart-to-heart types of conversations, I mean - in the novel, Ceodore admits he never saw his father weak or tired, and that they never talked much of very personal matters).
I don’t think he would be easily misunderstood though. He learnt how to act as a leader early on, and the role only got enforced once king. He is supposed to be clear, and he’s supposed to be listened to, especially when his role(s) demands him to be.
lavender :   how easy is it to gain your muse’s trust ?  once their trust is broken ,   how might one go about mending it ?
It’s quite easy, honestly. He tends to see the brightness and positivity in everyone he comes to know - especially during his journey, and tends to form bonds of trust when felt or necessary. It’s not that rare, honestly, the only true exceptions come from individuals who are obviously ill-mannered or plain evil and suspicious !
And it takes a lot to break his trust. Overall, he’s a very pure man, trying to find light even when it is scarce indeed -- he’s a good man. When Kain does take the last Underworld’s Dark Crystal to give it to Golbez, everyone in the group starts doubting him again. And yet, Cecil doesn’t give up on him  (and remember it’s the second time he gets ‘betrayed’ -- although the novel explains what is really going on inside Kain’s head, and by that point, he was just acting as a bait...)  and tries to think of why Kain had “betrayed them again”. He even omits to tell Giott of it, in fear Kain would have been branded a traitor and sentenced.
“Cecil told him everything. Of how they had successfully reached it [the Crystal], and of how Golbez had appeared to rob it. He never mentioned Kain’s involvement. Although he had betrayed them, he still believed there was good in Kain’s heart. He considered him a friend nonetheless, and believed the darkness to have gained control of his mind, back in the cave. He didn’t wish for him to be called and considered a traitor.”
magnolia :   describe your muse’s relationship with nature   &   the natural world.
It’s ironic, because Cecil -- hadn’t his parents died before having the chance to meet and raise him like they partly did for Theodor, would have grown up in a small woodcutters-like village amidst the forests next to Mysidia. Baron too is surrounded by green plains, lakes and rivers, it’s beautiful to see - truly, but he didn’t have much time or dedication to spare to the city’s surroundings. As a child, perhaps, he could have hoped to train or venture outside the city’s walls more often. Since a chocobo forest is nearby, I like to think Baron youth do actually learn to ride the birds out in the open, where there’s plenty of space and green to practice.
Being son of Kluya, the very Lunarian who introduced magic to humans, I think Cecil was born with a natural aptitude for magic; his legacy as a knight didn’t allow him to put those hidden qualities into any practical use, and the few white magic spells he knows as a Paladin are, also, rather weak (which is, ironically, the complete opposite of Golbez’s case). To hone one’s own magic, the user has to have a connection with the natural world, which is the primary source of energy needed to cast spells. This is why I think, albeit having little chances and few true opportunities to venture outside for leisure - Cecil has a subtle, inborn link with nature (as many mages do too) and would find great pleasure in nature and its joys.
oak :  who would your muse consider the strongest person they know ?
I believe he’d see Cid as one of the strongest people he’s ever known, even before the whole ordeal narrated through the game and his ‘sacrifice’ could be the nail sealing the whole deal, here. Having been raised without true parental figure, it is easy to understand why a child like him could have found comfort and warmth in such the extrovert man -- Cid acted like a father to him and never truly stopped, haha, he’s even there offering moral support (and some doses of panic too) when Cecil is literally becoming a father. Despite Cid having a family of his own, and a daughter too, he showered Cecil with attention and affection, like a true father would have...
I could argue Cecil did see a rather strong presence and soul in the late King of Baron, for very similar reasons. Minus the affection part (due to maybe king’s duties, prejudices, Cecil being a ward and not the UMM probably-long-lost-son-of-the-king’s-teen-crush, not officially at least) I believe, the two men are seen both in the highest regards from the man, he would manage to choose one between them. They both possess a spirit of sacrifice for the greater good, admirable values (till Cagnazzo enters the stage, at least) and morale, and both served as cardinal points for Cecil’s growth and childhood.
sage :   what is your muse’s legacy ?   what do they want to be remembered for   &   what might they actually be remembered for ?
Cecil is such a humble man, I doubt he would ever think stuff like ‘ah yes, and I’ll do this so that everyone will remember me for it’. But for everything he has accomplished and done for Baron, for the one he loved and from himself too, it is inevitable his name will long keep ringing in bards’ songs and in his people’s tales long after his life is spent. His legacy is Baron itself. The restored town, with its ancient monarchy and the promise of the star not being threatened anymore by the ambitions of a wicked Lunarian. His is a legacy of bountiful peace and prosperity, worthy of his courage and of all the pain he had to endure because of it.
Cecil also carries the hopes and dreams of his other people, the Lunarians. He incarnate all that is good and hopeful in such a difference race, not to mention - with hi brother, he is in fact the incarnation of their union (after all, Lunarians saw humans were still developing and growing, and felt their technological prowess and knowledge could have altered their natural evolution and development if forced upon them through cohabitation -- so they never truly invaded Gaia and remained on the artificial second moon, promising to find a way to coexist together only when humans would have reached their same intellectual level.)
He wouldn’t want to be remembered anyway else. He’s a brave knight, a loyal friend and a just king. It may not seem as much, but it is plenty enough for one of the savior of the star, haha! Which is also the cause of such big expectations being placed on Ceodore’s shoulders so early on too... it’s sad to think about, actually.
zinnia :   how has the loss of fallen comrades and/or loved ones affected your muse ?  has it taught them anything or given them any new perspectives ?
I think the losses made him more aware of the big role he had to, willingly or not, play for the salvation of what he held dear, and of the star. From the King being made puppet of a hellish demon, his body tossed unceremoniously in a hidden room on a mocking fake throne... to Yang and Cid temporarily disappearing and being believed dead... the twins turning into stone to save the other’s life... Tellah, but also the found truth about his father and mother’s deaths (novel explains that, for the longest time, Cecil believed to have been abandoned in the woods as an unwanted child... it’s heartbreaking, really, for he is sure of it and even says he doesn’t blame his mother for it. When he finds out she died of childbirth he is devastated also for having thought such a thing about her...) all shaped him into the rather firm young man he is by the end of the story.
And while not a loss per se, Golbez leaving the star to join Lunarians in the sleep and Kain disappearing for almost 15 years after the events of the game also happen to be strong moments for Cecil as well -- yes, almost as strong as true deaths would impact him and his psyche.
The sheer fear of losing his family and friends shapes him to the point he straight up refused at first to have the girls, especially Rosa, follow him back on the moon. The love for what he cannot ever afford to lose is what brings the light in his empty husk, during After Years, to defend Rosa and Ceodore before his ‘shadow-dark-knight self’. The tragedies, the scares and the moments of grief he lived through did make him a more responsible individual, a better fighter and even a more devoted man than he who was already; simply because that’s his entire world, and to know of his loved ones being safe is his true main concern...

hey guys !! i’m kat and i’m super excited for this rp ! i live in the nt, i’m a double leo and a floundering english student who’s fallen behind on my skincare routine this past week and feels a bit like shit as a result.. dk what that says about me when it’s all put together but let’s hope it’s nothing too ugly dgsfklj i’m super late with getting my intros all ready for opening — bc i have less than an hour as i’m typing out this intro to get dree and tally’s prepared DSKGLF — so stats, plots, etc are gonna have to wait as well, unfortunately. but getting to the point:
☕ . ˚ ◝ ( deepika padukone. cis female. she/her. ) amla jothadi is a thirty-one year old libra. the deja brew cake decorator’s go-to order is raspberry peach italian soda and a chocolatine. they like to listen to he can only hold her by amy winehouse while they wait for their order. the employees of the deja brew think they are apprehensive but swear they’re totally adept as well. maybe that’s why neatly-stacked novels, lilacs, bitten pen caps, and singing in a long and hot shower remind me of them.
i’m literally just copying this from an old intro and fixing shit for location’s sake, so don’t @ me if i fucked up a bit in doing that DFKLS
had lived in london for her entire life and her home life was rather.. standard ??
middle child, only daughter syndrome didn’t hit her too hard bc she was the apple of her father’s eye and was a near-mirror image of her mother, so she had them both wrapped around her finger fsgdkldfgj
her and her brothers got along okay, hair-pulling and exclusion bc of “boys only”/”leave my friends alone” moments aside, so it really was a rather mundane childhood that she had
p much the crybaby of her graduating class, overly sentimental and sweet so she was at most an annoyance to some
but it did make her a solid target for some of the mean kids bc they could get a reaction out of her pretty easily
nonetheless, she wasn’t the type to hold grudges for it, just dodged them and moved on from it as much as she could bc she figured they’d get bored of seeking her out eventually
all in all a teacher’s pet, friendly to all and just. adorable. slkdfgjdfs
she had an interest in cooking and writing from a young age, but left the former as a hobby and began to build a desire to do the latter as a career
but of course ! nothing is that simple !
at some point she realized that writing probably wouldn’t pay the bills by itself — when she actually became an adult and would have to do that herself sfgdlk
so upon entering uni, she decided to go for a communications degree, thinking that she could at least start off as a secretary or clerk at a media group before doing something creative there
.. but years passed after graduating and she was still but a clerk. handling files and documents, answering calls that shouldn’t even be sent her way at times bc the people around her couldn’t be bothered, having a hard time with putting her foot down so she winds up swamped and stagnant before even hitting her thirties
and that’s not at all how she pictured her life at this age, so she’s disappointed and stressed and sad af
but she thought she had to take it bc it seemed like an unspoken rule that you do four years at uni, you do your masters or get out there and lock yourself down to a company/occupation for the next 40 years of your life before living it up at 70 in florida or at your tiny house in the countryside
her passion for writing and some of her hobbies floundered bc of how much the desk jockey life stressed her out, the only thing keeping her from wholly spiralling being her fridays at the pub with her college friends
.. though seeing things work out for them ( for the most part ) where they didn’t for her didn’t alleviate her worries 100%
so come her 29th birthday, she.. had her inevitable quarter life crisis of sorts, cringey rom com plotlines serving as inspo
bc she just. wasn’t happy with her life at that point, had no real sense of adventure or pure freedom bc she locked herself down to what she thought she’s supposed to do or focus on
and it was when she was binging.. rom coms klgjdsfgkl that she figured she should throw caution to the wind and go somewhere else. some deep diving via google for destinations later and she fell in love with italy !
.... yes, we’re going on a bit of a road trip before we get to l.a, bear with me for a sec
so she spent time in a little village, just living life and staying far from her former office life, going at her own pace
she wanted to delve into writing as she planned at one point, a now or never kind of thing, and it was just a relief to even get back to it so she’s been at it ever since
cooking classes and baking, reading in the garden near her house, lots of other cute things filled up her days now and she’s having a great time as a result sgkldjsd
it was there that she began doing a few odd jobs here and there so she could sustain herself financially, as opposed to returning to some 9-5 life so soon, and just focused on herself and her interests with this new lifestyle
it’s been a year or so since she left that village and travelled a bit — south of france, spain, basically went all over the mediterranean on her way to the states for what was supposed to be a few months of leisure and repeating the cycle she’s been on for a while
but then.. she got to l.a. and just ?? decided to stay a little longer than expected, has been here for a few months now and doesn’t have any upcoming plans to uproot herself again
she’s currently working part-time at deja brew as a cake decorator. figured she might as well work at the café she frequents bc coffee ? treats ?? a chill reading environment ??? sign her up !
you can find her at some cozy little bookstore nestled somewhere in the city as another gig she’s taken up for now, or at her small studio apartment that’s littered with plants, novels and pillows fdksgjgldfk
personality and such
basically........ amla’s baby
she’s not naive, but she has a relatively gentle soul
wholesome isn’t quite a word i’d use to describe her but she’s just super cute and a simpleton in some respects
the type to spare baby ants and spiders from being crushed by a slipper for being in the house, but to get someone else to take care of the.. creepier insects jskdfh
she’s not a big risk-taker bc the unknown scares her, so for her to even do what she’s been doing for the last two years took a lot out of her to muster up the nerve
so she’s a bit of an anxious person who at times needs assurance, even from a complete stranger
v big on global issues bc she wants the world to be a more peaceful place, so there’s a side of her that tends to see in black and white rather than grey…. or rose ig sdgklsd
the simple things in life appeal to her a lot, though a luxury or two is welcome if she can put it to good use
the mom friend in some situations :( a cutie
she’s a romantic, like she has the vibe even when she tries to play it off like the extent of it is a bit closeted, secretive yknow ??
bc even then.. she has her trepidations bc of the relationships that had flamed out in the past for whatever reason
has a cat named rory, who she loves and might be projecting her slight baby fever onto for the time being
.. basically she’s your white picket fence fantasist — but make it rustic and less cliché — who’s managing to grip her bearings on the matter, if you couldn’t already tell slkgjgfsd
y’know how some people get really emotional and quiet in an argument but proceed to snap almost out of fucking nowhere ?? that’s amla
sdlfkgj she’s used to having been a doormat or target in the past, so she tends to let herself take it until she realizes “ hey, i don’t need to be shit on like this, how dare you — ”
just. love her please fklfgdjskld

How to Smut 101: Getting Over the Hump (heh) and Just Doing It
Hello friends! This little guide comes to you from someone who has literally been creating original stories in some form or another since before they could hold a pencil. So well over a decade. And yet, I’ve only really delved into the land of smut writing in the past few years. This was a genre that I, and many creators I’m sure, were scared to touch. It was too difficult, too embarrassing, too easy to get wrong.
And yet, I believe I’ve gotten a pretty good handle not only on writing it effectively but also dissolving the embarrassment surrounding the subject, at least in my own mind. Obviously everyone’s methods for writing are different, so this will be less of a guide and more of an outline full of things to help you prepare for your jump into the world of smut for the first (or maybe twentieth after a bunch of scrapped attempts if you’re like me) time.
The first thing that really helped me was changing how I thought about smut.
Sex scenes always had this mystical, untouchable quality to them whenever I thought about writing them. They were set apart from the rest of the story, placed on a sort of pedestal, a pedestal that had my thought processes heading places like “alright, now it’s time for the Sex Scene™”. Sometimes I would just throw random sex scenes into a story because I felt as thought they had to be there. Which brings me to my first real point.
Sex scenes must have a reason to exist!
Unless you’re writing a plot-what-plot situation, a sex scene must be in your story for a reason! This applies more to published novels or longer fics, which is why I’m posting it first as this one in particular won’t apply to many of the people who clicked on this post.
Imagine this a bit differently. What if your story was progressing along normally when, all of a sudden, you threw in a random, pointless scene about your characters stopping to get coffee? Nothing plot-relevant happens; no important characters interactions happen; there are no special items hidden in the coffee shop. Your characters just decided that they needed a pick-me-up and sit around quietly sipping coffee for 1,000 or so words. This would be really boring, right?
Well, an unnecessary sex scene is the same way. I’m not naming any names here, but there is an exceptionally popular series of erotic novels out there that makes this mistake all the time! If you have pointless sex scenes sprinkled into your story every chapter, it’s going to become boring and grating in a hurry.
Sex scenes must be consistent with the tone of the story, happen naturally over the course of the plot, and/or teach us something important about the characters involved in order to have a true place. If these things are not present, I find it’s best to reconsider if it’s really best to have a sex scene during this point in the story or in the story at all.
Sex scenes are just like any other scene!
Going back to the whole stopping for coffee analogy, a sex scene is just another scene in your story. Now you might be thinking to yourself, “well, duh!”, but this realization was actually a big turning point for me.
I realized the main responsibility we have in writing is to take mundane, everyday activities and present them in a new or interesting way. Think of an adventure story. A group of characters going on an adventure to find the Golden Sword of Wisdom is the exciting version of you and your friends driving down to your local Walmart to obtain Golden Magnum Ice Cream Bars.
Or, consider the Harry Potter series. It takes going to school, something every person within its targeted age group is required to do, and turns it into a fresh and, dare I say, magical experience.
Instead of simply providing a blow-by-blow (pun intended), textbook-style retelling of a sexual encounter, it’s important to put your own unique spin on it.
Play with your readers’ senses.
A huge part of what makes any scene great is the ability of the reader to immerse themselves into it. And you as the author can make this much easier for them by describing it to them in as much detail as possible, how everything contained within it looks, feels, smells, and tastes.
And sexual scenes are certainly no exception to this. In fact, I’d say creating an enjoyable sensory experience is of the utmost importance.
Consider things like how does your character’s partner smell? How do their surroundings smell? Are there any candles burning, a window through which fresh, or perhaps not-so-fresh, air is streaming? Have their clothes or sheets just been washed and smell of a particular scent of detergent?
Also consider how things feel. Is your character in a cold or warm place? Perhaps you could describe a feeling of goosebumps rising on the skin or of sweat dripping down their back. How do the sheets feel beneath their fingertips? How does the brick wall feel at their back? What is it like to be pressed up against a window pane?
What sounds are present, besides the obvious ones? Is there music playing? A fan going? Cars outside? Perhaps the sound of footsteps are present as they desperately try to keep quiet in a crowded place.
Also consider your characters’ own personalities, as well as how much experience they have in sexual situations. How do they feel about their partner? Are they excited or apprehensive? Are they overwhelmed with love or simply looking to get their rocks off? All of these are important things to consider when creating a well-rounded scene.
Your scene does not have to be vulgar, but it can be!
You may think that every sex scene must be contain levels of vulgarity reserved for professional porn movies, but this is simply not the case. As I said before, take into account the personality of the characters involved. A shy character would not likely use words like “cock” and “pussy”, where as a more bold or experienced character very well may.
And if you’re not comfortable with using such words in your writing, well, now is the time to step outside of your comfort zone! As long as it is appropriate for the characters involved, of course.
But regardless of boldness or levels of experience, some are simply just not into super vulgar dirty talk. This post by Smut 101 is a perfect example of dirty talk of a more romantic sort for the more hopeless romantic types that may appear in your stories.
Keep things accurate but not necessarily realistic.
You always see people criticizing sex in books and movies for not being realistic enough, for not involving vagina-having characters taking a piss afterward to prevent UTIs, for a lack of condoms, for both characters reaching orgasm at the same time. You know what I say to that? I say that sexual scenes are meant as an escape, as a fantasy, and that such realistic touches would ruin the illusion of the perfect scenario the reader is looking for.
That being said, if everything is sunshine and rainbows all the time, you’ll once again find yourself with a boring scene on your hands. It’s alright to include moments where your characters knock their heads together or say something so ridiculous it makes the other person laugh. Sex can and should be fun and, when the moment calls for it, a bit goofy.
Something that you cannot compromise on, however, is accuracy. If you’re delving into a particular fetish or act you’re not familiar with, it’s best to do your research beforehand, something else that the author of the aforementioned exceptionally popular series of erotic novels seems to have neglected. Watching videos, reading articles, and browsing forums can all be useful in familiarizing yourself with the subject.
Even if you’re a virgin, this does not bar you from writing well-written sex scenes, I assure you! If someone was required to experience something in order to write about it, the vast majority of authors would be up shit creek without a paddle.
As with any genre, it never hurts to familiarize yourself with it before you start writing it. Reading highly praised romance novels and other peoples’ erotic fics is a good place to start if you’re looking for inspiration or guidance.
Don’t be afraid to draw from your own experiences.
If you have had a bit of sexual experience, it’s not a bad idea to draw inspiration from this. Remembering specific sensory experiences you’ve had and applying them to your writing can help enhance the realism of a scene.
It’s also not forbidden to include your own personal fantasies in your stories. Just be careful that all of your erotic stories don’t turn out exactly the same. While we all have our own individual tastes and preferences, it’s good to step outside of that to keep your stories fresh.
Some general tips for you as a writer.
Writing smut is going to feel awkward if you’re not used to it. And even if you are used to it, feelings of embarrassment may still come up on occasion. This is normal. Do not let it dissuade you from pursuing your creative endeavors. Even if the embarrassment over writing lewd scenes never fully goes away, it will get easier with time. I promise.
Whenever I’m writing any kind of scene whether it be exciting, emotional, or, yes, lewd, I always like to select some music to set the tone in my mind. Spotify and YouTube are my go-to sources. If you’re settling down to write a smut scene, find yourself a sexy playlist to get your brain in the zone.
Your mood is important as well. Obviously you don’t have to be dripping with lust to write this sort of scene, but being upset, tired, or ill can definitely put a damper on your ability to get into the proper mindset.
Never try to force writing of any sort if you’re not feeling inspired. As that old saying goes, writing is like a fart: if you have to force it, it’s probably shit. The original quote pertains to relationships, but I think it’s pretty fitting here as well. Should this happen, don’t scrap the project entirely. Simply take a break, play or watch the property involving the character(s) you’re writing about, read some of your favorite authors or fic writers, read some guides like this one. And then come back when you feel suitably inspired.
In conclusion...
As I said before, this is less of a guide and more of an outline. Everyone has different methods for putting out their best content. Perhaps listening to music distracts you or the writing of others sticks in your head and hampers your ability to create original work.
And that’s completely fine.
That being said, I hope that you guys found this useful in instilling you with the confidence you need to finally begin writing smut! There can never be too many smut writers in the world. If there’s something in particular that you’d like advice on, leave a comment and I’ll try to address it as soon as I can. Thanks for reading, everyone! Now, go forth with the faith that you can finally do the thing !!!

I've been waiting to do this one for a while now, so you know this Segment is going to be awesome. It's is now time to reintroduce you to one of my favorite Equestrian models to work on, so much so that she is one of my main characters of my little graphic novel I'm currently working on. Without further ado, I present The Moon Goddess of Equestria and the Second half of the Element of Passion Princess Luna. Princess Luna is the fourth Equestrian that Lady Maya Doi made a covenant of "Absolute Devotion," but not without almost battling each other to the death and the Covenant itself was interrupted by Luna's Demon Counterpart Nightmare Moon. The fate between Lady Maya Doi and Princess Luna was an event that was eventually was going to happen, because their relationship between them has dated back for over 1,100 years. The two of them were once lovers and was about to be married until the Events of the First Walpurgis Night event happened. The personality between Maya and Luna from their past life to their current one is somewhat of an ironic paradox. Princess Luna adored Lady Maya Matsui as a gracious Deity, and she wanted to be just like her, and the Modern Luna at the time, saw Maya Doi as a threat to the nation because she believed that she's The Demon King that stole her betrothed's body and trying to seduce everyone for his own gain, and yet the two of them are exactly alike. This will be a pretty damn long story, (just like all the other heavy hitters in this universe) So let's go in depth of how Princess Luna came to be. The Lonely Goddess (Luna a Thousand Years ago) Before The Sisters begin ruling their land, the two of them spend most of their time together. Back then Princess Celestia was Luna's whole world. She loves playing with her and have their outings together, Luna couldn't be more happy having her Elder Sister with her. All of that changes however, when the two of them began ruling over Equestria. Princess Celestia rule during the day, so she is busy governing the nation and meeting different bureaucrats, and people from other nations. Princess Luna have to rule Equestria at night. Before Luna gain the ability to enter her subjects dreams, she set up a post in her Royal Chamber and watches over her subject while they sleep. This obligation seems very mundane to Luna and she got easily bored and very lonely.  Now that how her Sister Celestia is now running the Country during the day, the two of them doesn't enough time to spend together. Princess Luna was not a fan of how their situation tuned out. After a few decades like this, Princess Luna became very detach from everyone in the castle including Princess Celestia. Princess Celestia tried her best to tend to whatever was bothering her Sister, but Luna won't open up the her. Desperate to find a way to help her Sister, Princess Celestia set oversees to see "The Deity of Passion." Princess Celestia met Lady Maya Matsui at her homeland to talk to her about her Sister Luna, and even brought a portrait of her to see if she is interested in helping her. Lady Maya was awe-stuck at seeing the portrait of Luna and was very interested in seeing her. Lady Maya was interested of seeing Princess Luna because she believes that she maybe the same type of Deity that she is, one who is destined to be loved and to help anyone to find their passion whatever it may be. A few weeks later, Lady Maya and Mako visits Equestria to see the Young Moon Goddess. Princess Luna however wasn't so open to meet Lady Maya. She found her kind of weird and dresses funny as well. Princess Celestia apologies on the behave of her Sister because of her lack of knowledge of the world outside of Equestria, but Maya doesn't mind at all and understand completely about the culture shock between the two. Maya offer her hand of friendship and tells her you can talk to her about whatever you like, she'll be waiting here. Maya Matsuti and Princess Luna Relationship in the First Few Months. For the first several months after moving to Canterlot, Lady Maya Matsui was having a difficult time reaching out to Princess Luna. She told Celestia that she can barley get a couple of sentences from her. Princess Celestia assures her that Luna is a lot sweater than she behaving and give her a little bit more time to open it. So Lady Maya continue to wait for Luna to come see her, until one night Princess Luna finally invited Lady Maya to her chamber for the night. Lady Maya was delighted by the invitation and begin preparing to have a sleepover with Luna. After a few hours of staying with Luna while she's at her post, Lady Maya notice that Princess Luna was sobbing during her post. Lady Maya insisted that she speaks to her so she can help her, that's when Princess Luna lashes out at Lady Maya and told her that's it's none of her concern! Princess Luna continues on to rant about how her and Celestia are free to go wherever they want while she stuck here watching over here sleeping subjects and she believes that Lady Maya was here only to get close to Celestia. Notice what she said out loud, Princess Luna apologizes to Maya for what she said to her and wouldn't blame her if she leave right now, but Maya stated that she won't go anywhere without her. Lady Maya was happy that she finally got a chance to spend the evening with her and even was willing to open her true feeling to her so that she can finally get a chance to help her. She explains while it's true that Princess Celestia came to Lady Maya's Homeland and order to help Luna, it was Maya's request that she come live with her in Equestria. She explains how the night in her culture represents a time of relaxation, and celebration, and also the time of passion with Luna will learn once she is older. Lady Maya tells Princess Luna her role as a Moon Goddess is just as important as her Sister's role as a Sun Goddess, because Luna provides dream for her subject to achieve their life ambitions. In fact that there's many people in this castle who loves her and wants here to be here including her Sister Celestia and now Lady Maya herself. Princess Luna notice that Lady Maya says that she loves her and Maya insures her that what she said. The fact that she carries such a big responsibility as young as she is very admirable and because of the ability she possess is one of her main sources of why Lady Maya is "The Deity of Passion," and as a Deity and her friend she will do whatever it for Princess Luna to find happiness within herself and let her know that's she's no longer alone. Luna became so overwhelm with joy, Luna hug s Maya and cries out loud, and Maya holds Luna and tells her it's alright to let everything out. This moment was the start of Their Beautiful Friendship and Romance together. The Hundred Year Courtship (Lady Maya Matsui and Princess Luna's Growing Relationship) Since that night together Princess Luna continue to allow Lady Maya Matsui to stay with her while she watches over Equestria. During those time they spent together, their friendship grew rapidly. The two over them have more than enough time to talk about whatever they like. When Princess Luna seem wary about herself and her responsibility as The Moon Goddess, Lady Maya will find a way to cheer her up and feels better about herself. After a while, the two of them becomes more attach to each other and begins sharing each others abilities. By Luna's request' Lady Maya begins teaching her swordplay and archery, and Maya get to learn more about Luna's Magic. Thanks to Lady Maya's ability as "The Deity of Passion," Princess Luna developed an ability to enter our subjects' dreams and intact with them. Princess Luna finally get's to see how much her subjects loves her, and begins to enjoy her position as a Moon Goddess. Further down the with their Relationship, Both Lady Maya and Princess Luna begins to develop a romantic attraction to each other. Maya and Luna seem to always be together wherever they go. Sometimes the both of them would visited the Secret Garden where they dance on the lake. This was what Princess Luna always wanted to do that with her Sister but never got the chance to. From there, their Romance continue to intensify. Lady Maya slept beside Princess Luna, watching her while she's asleep after watching of Equestria overnight, and Princess Luna sneaks at the river while Lady Maya bathes. The sexual tension from Luna has started to develop and Lady Maya has become her object of desire. Thoughts about Maya has become so potent that it become unbearable at times. One night when Lady Maya sets up for another night with Princess Luna, she came up to Lady Maya and kisses her while using her body to push her down her bed. Princess Luna told Maya that she understand now when she meant about the night is for passion, and she been thinking about nothing but to have her right now. She begs Lady Maya to have her now, but Maya won't let something like to happen with Luna telling her that if they where to do something like with her now, it will take the purity within her away from her and she will no longer be the same goddess. Realizing what she was doing, Princess Luna begins sobbing on Lady Maya's chest and said to her "I can't go on like this anymore. You help me in my darkest time, and I can't even express my thanks to you." Maya asked Luna "What is it that you wish for me Tuskihime? What is your deep desire that you want me to grant you?" Luna replies "Stay with me forever. Let me express my deepest feelings to you My Lady. That's all I really wanted." Maya realized long ago that Princess Luna is indeed the very Goddess she believed she is, and knows that their relationship has developed into something neither one of them has went through before, nevertheless; Maya accepted Luna's proposal and told Princess Celestia about it. Celestia didn't hesitate to make arrangements with Maya's Mother for their Special Matrimony, but that day never came to be. Nightmare Moon took over Princess Luna (The First Walpurgis Night) What supposes to a be several days before happiest day of Princess Luna's life turned into to one of the worst night of her life. Whatever happen to Luna at that night made her drop into deep despair and eventually turn her in to the demon. Nightmare Moon has taken over Luna's body and nearly killed Lady Maya. Princess Celestia used "The Element of Harmony" to banish her Sister to the moon. While stuck on the moon, Princess Luna has return to her normal self, and she found herself alone and scared. The memories of what Nightmare Moon did to Lady Maya laid dormant in her mind, she cries and weep for hours until a part of her essence started to separate from her and what appears is an Equine version of Luna. Princess Luna pause to stare at her counterpart before her pony leap to her and give her a heartfelt hug. The two of them hold each other and weep for centuries. During her captivity on the moon, Princess Luna was continued to be tormented by Nightmare Moon, never letting her forget what she did to her subjects and her betrothed. Some nights she cries out to Celestia and Lady Maya to come save her from Nightmare Moon, but those cries were never heard (Maybe except for Maya's Dreams.) By the time Princess Luna was finally freed from her banishment on the moon, her mind was completely void an her body was once again been taken over by Nightmare Moon. The Second Walpurgis Night has begin again in Equestria but  was ended just as quickly, thanks to Twilight Sparkle and her new life long friends. Regrets, Resentment, and Revenge (Princess Luna learns about Maya Doi) Princess Luna has finally return to her Sister Princess Celestia thanks to The Mane Six, but Luna's personality has change since the night. Princess Luna looks older now and seem more mature and serious compare to her younger self. As happy to finally be reunited with her beloved Sister, Princess Luna ask Celestia whatever happened to her betrothed. Princess Celestia hesitated for a while showed her what happened to Lady Maya using a surveillance magic. Luna was shock to see that Lady Maya has became a depressed mortal human who seem to be unresponsive towards anything. Luna asked Celestia how did Maya came to be like this, Celestia told her about the incident that occurred in Maya's homeland, and how The Demon King Axel Doi evaded it and almost wiped out her entire nation. Maya had to use her powers to seal away Axel to stop him from destroying the country. Luna heard enough and left Princess Celestia to begin her shift as The Moon Goddess. That night, Princess Luna visits Maya's dream and saw a horrors of screams, burning buildings, and corpus of soldiers, samurais and citizens like. Luna was convince that Axel Doi is taken over her betrothed's body. During the time that she not watching over Equestria, Princess Luna was researching everything she can find about Lord Axel in the Royal Archive. She learned who he was before he took over as king in his homeland, the places he evaded and conquered, how is ambitions slowly turned he into a demon, and how Axel desired Maya's Mother, Lady Keiko and how he almost destroyed her country when she turned him down. After finishing her research of Axel, Princess Luna begins to hate Axel for what he did to those people and especially for what he did to Lady Maya and her family. Because of him, Luna will never see Lady Maya again and apologies for what she did to her. Luna blames Axel for never letting her get a chance to redeem herself and rekindle the relationship that was lost. A few years later, Princess Luna finds out about Celestia's secret project about turning Maya into an Equestrian Unicorn. Princess Luna veto the project saying that giving that monster any of their powers will be too dangerous for them. Celestia ensure Luna that, Maya wouldn't do anything that will endanger anyone in Equestria and this will help her to relate better with other Equestrians and she will eventually return to her. Princess Luna wants to believe in her Sister, but learning about Lord Axel Doi and believing that he took over Maya's body Princess Luna must make sure that Axel will never betray them. The Lunar Eclipse Briefing Dreams of a Young Alicorn Girl crying on the moon continues to haunt Maya Doi for several months. Maya has no ideal why these dreams keeps reoccurring, and it's starting to affect her life. Lady Maya was given an invitation to visit Canterlot for a meeting for an up coming festival. Maya had ideas for the festival that conflicted with Luna's ideas and the both of them had their moment as soon as they first met. Soon after the meeting, Princess Luna confronted Maya and told her that she knows that she really is the Demon King Axel and she will not allow what happened in Maya's homeland happening in Equestria. Despite Princess Luna find out who Maya really was in the past, she told her that she isn't interested about conquering Equestria and wants to be left alone. While Maya continue to walk away from Luna, she shouted things about Aexl's past and about Lady Keiko which sets her off on a frenzy! Their pony counterparts have to interfere so the two of them stop fighting. Maya calm down and left the hall way, but what she said to Luna during that moment stuck with her and she took the shawl that Maya left went when looking for her. By the time Princess Luna find Maya, she found her kissing Princess Twilight on the stairway. Angry and completely distraught, Princess Luna left to her chamber clutching Maya's shawl with her hands. inside her room she continues to curse Axel for never letting her get a chance to see Maya again so she can apologize to her. That's when a familiar and an uninviting voice reappear to torment Princess Luna once again. Luna ward of that entity and decided to make sure that Axel will never betray them. A few days later Twilight Sparkle when to the cathedral to talk to Luna about Maya Doi. Princess Luna didn't expect Twilight to found her like this and asked her what she want. Twilight told Luna that she knows that she's been sending her Duchess nightmares and wants to know why she would do just a horrible thing to her? Luna scorns Twilight for even questioning her and for her lack of knowledge about who she really is. When Princess Luna notice that Twilight saw her holding Maya's shawl, she opened up to her about her relationship with Lady Maya Matsui, and how the both of them was really close to each other. But Luna couldn't forgive Axel for destroying her chance to bring Maya back to her, and taunts Twilight for making a convenient with the fake Maya. Twilight explains to Luna that it's because she knows about both Axel and Maya's past that she's so connect with her Duchess and another reason is that Maya remind her so much of Princess Luna. Twilight realized that Luna still loves Maya and all she wanted is to reconnect with her. Twilight offers her hand to help Princess Luna and Lady Maya to reconcile their differences and be together again and once a convenient is fulfilled between them, Twilight can come visit Luna so she can be with her as well. Later that night, Princess Luna returns to her room confuse about what happened at the cathedral, but nonetheless, she actually was going to get a chance to see Lady Maya once again, but that strange entity has once again came back to torment Luna wants again. The Entity teases Luna about how her new crush with Twilight is now consummating with The Doppelganger and how much she wants to join them. Luna gasp for air and kneel to the floor while the dark entity continued to torment her about reconcile with Axel. Princess Luna demand the entity to disappear from her and never show itself to her again. before it left, the entity tells Luna to visit Maya's dream so she can see for herself how she really feel about her. After Luna compose herself, she decided to visit Maya in her dreams for the last time to talk to her this time. Lady Maya finds herself once again stuck on the same dream that's been haunting her for months, but this time Maya became self aware and calls out to Luna to come and face her. The two of them faces each other for the second time, and Maya reveals everything she knows about Luna's past. Princess Luna was shock about how much Maya knows about her past, and finds her too dangerous to remain in Equestria, and she told Maya that she will never end this nightmare until Axel's soul is gone completely from her body. Maya realized that there's no way she can avoid a fight with Luna, so that set up a time where they can meet each to duel. Okay, this story went on much longer then I expected. You're going to have to read Act II for the rest of the story since I made 23 chapters of the duel. Anyway as I said before this is one of my favorite models for me to work on and she is very important in this story so, She getting just a big of a section like Twilight Sparkle. The Base Moon Goddess is getting 9 test renders pics of Princes Luna, because freaking Luna! If you read this entire backstory that took my two days to right this then you have my deepest gratitude and I promise I'll try not to make a lengthy backstory like that again. With this section I'll be post all of the pics one for each day. Thank you very much for reading. Luna and Maya initially shares the same theme song but I found a new song anyway: Astronaut - Quantum (Virtual Riot Remix) Moonbathing The Lunar Eclipse in Tapastic The Lunar Eclipse Act II Hit me up on Twitter: @AxelDoi and Tumblr: Ask the Equestrians for updates or you want to chat. I'm trying to more active there you know. ACT I ACT II Software used: Daz Studio 4.9 Pro, Face Den Artist Pro, Adobe Photoshop CC 2017, Iray, Poser Pro 2014 Patreon

There Were Zero Things Better This Week Than Tessa Thompson’s Earrings In ‘Sorry To Bother You’

There Were Zero Things Better This Week Than Tessa Thompson’s Earrings In ‘Sorry To Bother You’
Welcome to Good Shit, HuffPost’s weekly recommendation series devoted to the least bad things on and off the internet.
When Lakeith Stanfield compliments Tessa Thompson’s earrings in “Sorry to Bother You,” the camera cuts close to the ornaments framing Thompson’s face.
In quirky block letters, one earring says “MURDER MURDER MURDER,” the other says “KILL KILL KILL.” They’re the first of many audacious pairs that Thompson, playing a fiery artist-activist, wears in Boots Riley’s fantastic new movie. Others display men in electric chairs, Bob Dylan and Prince lyrics, and the apt words “WILDLY ORIGINAL” ― all accentuated by Thompson’s electric-orange curls.
As rowdy as the earrings may be, they’re one of the more grounded oddities in this surreal odyssey about race, capitalism and loud manifestos. ― Matthew Jacobs
Romelu Lukaku, A God
Watch Lukaku’s run. Drags the defender inside to create space for Meunier and then dummies it brilliantly for Chadli. Brilliant work. pic.twitter.com/RKseQLdX7q
— Jake. (@YedIin) July 2, 2018
I want you to stop, for one moment, and watch the video of this run by Romelu Lukaku, Belgium’s star striker, in the dying moments of Belgium’s 3-2 win over Japan in the World Cup’s round of 16. (In the above GIF, he’s the guy in red who starts at the bottom left of the screen.)
Lukaku, like many black soccer players, is often stereotyped as a big, strong, physical athlete whose greatness is defined by those qualities. But while he is all of those things, he’s also smart as hell when it comes to his positioning and his ability to see how a play should unfold before it does ― and then make it unfold exactly that way. This run is proof: Watch how Lukaku drags the defender nearest him toward the middle of the field to create space for the first pass. Watch how he follows that by pulling another defender in the opposite direction to create space for the next pass. And then, watch how he dummies that pass, stepping over it so that it runs to an open Nacer Chadli ― who is only open because of Lukaku ― on the far post. It’s brilliant. It’s all beautifully, mind-numbingly brilliant.
Lukaku is Belgium’s leading scorer, but he’d spent the first 89 minutes of the match against Japan failing to find the back of the net over and over again. No one would have blamed him for trying to bury that shot ― it was the last minute, the match was tied, he’s their best player, he’s there to score goals. But he knew the right play was to take the defenders out of the play completely, to let the ball run to Chadli, to let the wide open guy nail home the win instead. Romelu Lukaku is God. Also: he’s fluent in at least seven languages. He is brilliant, and I love him. ― Travis Waldron
The Charming Netflix Rom-Com That Makes Up For That Adam Sandler Movie
Listen, Netflix, I’m never going to forget that you made “The Ridiculous 6” possible, nor should I. BUT. Today I’m feeling nothing but gratitude for the proliferation of streaming-content creators, and Netflix in particular. See, I love a good, old-fashioned, stomach-flipping romantic comedy, and in this superhero-crazed environment I rarely get one as fun and unabashedly sweet as “Set It Up.” I missed it when it came out last month, but now that I’ve seen the Claire Scanlon-directed confection, I plan to watch it daily at least.
The premise: Harper (Zoey Deutch) and Charlie (Glen Powell), the beleaguered assistants to, respectively, a hotshot sports journalist (Lucy Liu) and a venture capitalist (Taye Diggs), decide to prod their bosses into dating each other in hopes that a fresh romance will prove a distraction from work. They manufacture a relationship between their bosses ― and accidentally start to fall for each other. The movie gleefully subverts numerous rom-com tropes, like the grand running-to-the-airport gesture, while maintaining the goofy-sweet heart of a true romantic comedy.
The cast is peppered with brilliant comedic turns ― Tituss Burgess, Meredith Hagner, Pete Davidson ― and the leads are a delight. Deutch is so winsome, I literally wished I could wear her as a skin suit, and Powell looks at her in that heart-melting way that every rom-com hero must do to win my heart. It was a bit disappointing to see the actors of color pushed, as usual, into supporting roles (of course in a rom-com about the oft-ignored assistants, it’s the assistants who are white). Here’s hoping the rumors that Lucy Liu’s character may get a sequel come true. ― Claire Fallon
This NYC Teen’s Valedictorian Speech
@StuyvesantHigh valedictorian: Find a way to diversify my school. #SHSAT #StuyAlum #MatteoWong https://t.co/g1pjCIyBxm
— Stuyvesant High (@StuyvesantHigh) June 28, 2018
The best writing I read this week came courtesy of a teenager. His name is Matteo Wong, and he is the most recent valedictorian at Stuyvesant High School, an elite New York City public high school that finds itself enmeshed in a larger battle over how (or how not) to combat racial inequality in the city.
The simple question of which students should go to which schools is an intensely emotional one for many parents, especially white ones, who have been known to yell when people propose that schools should reflect the demographic makeup of the city that surrounds them. It is widely considered an incredibly complex question as well. But that’s what makes Wong’s valedictory speech ― a version of which was published in Crain’s New York Business ― so fantastic. His writing is clear and measured, uplifting while also based on the facts.
“The problem: New York City’s best public high school is less than 4 percent black or Hispanic, demographics which compose nearly 70 percent of the city’s school-age population,” he writes. “This debate revolves around two truths. One: These statistics are unacceptable. To accept them is to buy into a racist myth of black and Hispanic inferiority that has very real, physical and psychological repercussions. To accept these demographics is to make Stuyvesant a toxic environment for black and Hispanic students. The way forward is unclear, but the status quo is broken.”
The 850-word speech, which I suggest you read in full, just gets better from there. If only adults could speak with the same level of candor. ― Maxwell Strachan
An Incredibly Boring (And Great!) Reality TV Show
I’ve been told to watch “Terrace House,” an unassuming Japanese reality television show in which three young men and three young women live in a house together, for years, and this week the Netflix algorithm gods blessed me by finally suggesting I put it in my queue. I’m only a handful of 28-minute episodes into the show, and yet I’m already a convert. If you’re looking for a way to soothe your news-ridden, tweet-ridden, over-stimulated soul, binge your way through this series. (Parts 1 and 2 are already on Netflix, and Part 3 is being released at the end of this month.)
The weird thing about “Terrace House” is that very little happens and yet it’s completely captivating. As a consumer of American reality TV, specifically the “Bachelor” franchise, I’m primed for high drama ― big fights, lots of tears, ominous music cues, carefully produced confrontations and very little eating on camera. “Terrace House” flouts these conventions, opting instead to lean into the seemingly mundane. It makes you wonder why American shows keep trying to raise the emotional stakes of reality television when the Japanese have figured out a way to draw in audiences with no stakes at all. ― Emma Gray
Amy Adams In Anything (But This Week In “Sharp Objects”)
HBO is back with another limited series in “Sharp Objects,” based on the debut novel of author Gillian Flynn. Alongside showrunner Marti Noxon and director Jean-Marc Vallée, the “Gone Girl” scribe brings her dark crime thriller to the screen in a compelling fashion.
The always superb Amy Adams plays reporter Camille Preaker, who returns home to Wind Gap, Missouri, to cover the mysterious murders of two young girls. But it’s her own past that haunts her as she’s reunited with her overbearing mother (Patricia Clarkson) and rebellious teenage half-sister (Eliza Scanlen) in a hometown burdened with pain. It premieres Sunday at 9 p.m. ― Leigh Blickley
Bron Snow, AKA A Clash Of Kings, AKA June 19, 2016
giphy
On Sunday, June 19, 2016, I watched on a split-screen as the Cleveland Cavaliers won Game 7 of the NBA finals and Jon Snow defeated Ramsay Bolton in the Battle of the Bastards on “Game of Thrones.” Yes, it was two years ago, but it was beautiful. The days of the Cavs championship drought and of Jon Snow making his pouty face — not because it was cool, but because his life kinda sucked ― were over.
Now, with LeBron James leaving the Cavs and “Game of Thrones” coming to an end, it’s good to remember that moment can never be taken away from us. Some of my own colleagues, who are now celebrating LeBron in LA, counted him out of that 2016 series from the start, much like many doubted the White Wolf.
But the North remembers. Cavs fans remember! We know no king but the kings in the North and Northeast Ohio. I don’t care if they’re bastards or they moved to LA ― Ned Stark’s blood and Cavs wine-and-gold run through their veins! They’re my kings from this day until their last day! ― Bill Bradley
Tina Lawson’s Instagram Account
Tina Lawson, the mother of our true saviors Beyoncé and Solange, has the Instagram feed from Heaven. But this photo of her and her man, Richard, waiting to see Smokey Robinson is the blackest thing I have seen this week. I am fucking LIVING for it. I grew up listening to Smokey Robinson because of my mama and nana. So I feel like this could be my parents and that warms my soul in a way I can’t fully explain.
Also, look at that selfie. It’s just terrible enough to be a fantastic auntie and uncle pic. I love it. I love them. I’m crying. ― Julia Craven
Comedian Kate Berlant
HBO/ANNAPURNA PICTURES/NETFLIX/GETTY/VIMEO
Remember that time Roseanne Barr shrieked the national anthem at a San Diego Padres game? That is not my recommendation for the week. My recommendation for the week is the human being who wrote a thesis on the deconstructionist milestone that was Barr’s scream-performance: Kate Berlant. (She did this in grad school, really!)
Berlant is in the new film “Sorry to Bother You,” which according to my colleague Matt Jacobs, you should really see. But she’s also appeared in “Search Party,” “High Maintenance,” “The Characters” and “555.” She’s a prolific scene-stealer and best friends with John Early, with whom she’s apparently writing a film. I recommend it! Them! Her! ― Katherine Brooks
A ’70s Gangster Film, Why Not?
For years, I’ve been trying to track down Elaine May’s mid-’70s masterpiece “Mikey and Nicky,” starring John Cassavetes and Peter Falk as childhood friends turned low-level gangsters turned frenemies. The film, which is now streaming on Kanopy, was well worth the years of searching. It’s better than every other Netflix crime show you’ve just binged.
The premise is simple: Cassavetes’ character knows there’s a contract out on his life and calls Falk to help him out. The rest of the film concerns what Falk does with his friend’s fate during the course of one boozy, cigarette-stained night. You can see the movie’s influence all over “Goodfellas” and shows like “The Sopranos.”
But the thing that will stay with you long after the film is over are the spare scenes with the women in their lives ― the ones who take their late-night calls, their abuses and their endless, tormented need. You see it in their eyes. They know what’s up. ― Jason Cherkis
Red Shorts, Blue Shirts: A Phenomenon
We’ve uncovered an international phenomenon: Each summer, dudes across the world bust out red shorts and, after very little consideration, decide that the only fashionable pairing is a blue shirt. Two of our reporters have been documenting this for four years — but this is bigger than our circle of friends now. Prepare to have your third eye opened. We bring you the RedShortsBlueShirt Instagram page and a whole hell of a lot of red shorts-blue shirt combos. ― Andy Campbell
Kumail Nanjiani’s Cheeseburger Freakout
I still can’t stop thinking about Kumail Nanjiani’s cheeseburger-related freakout in “The Big Sick.” We’ve all been on the wrong side of a customer service issue at the exact worst moment, and watching Nanjiani channel that is perfection. He strikes just the right notes of sympathetic and ridiculously funny. It’s hard to pick a favorite moment from the scene because I loved all of it ― from his yelling “Who the fuck is we, man?” to his knocking over the trash can and then feeling bad and slowly, sadly picking it all up again. ― Anna Krakowsky
