pete ALSO said in the vh1 ybc commentary also said that the mmy mv “thematically fits the song”…. (the mv where pete and patrick fucking kill each other……….)

obviously from this he’s basically saying he associates the song with patrick- def not all of it, but enough to call attention to it in the vh1 commentary… and enough for him to say that the mmy mv “meant a lot” to him… and i think looking at the lyrics/video we can probably infer that he’s viewing the lyrics&vid through the lens of fob going into the hiatus- “the person you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger” etc etc.

sidebar: both of them have talked about how pete called patrick after his blogpost in 2012 and how he didn’t answer immediately- how there were “a couple calls” according to patrick

that was all in 2013-14- now flash forward to 2015 and he’s introducing mmy with the “cornflower blue” poem:

insane behaviour. BUT THEN! instead of reciting what he wrote… pete instead says “i’d be no one without you” instead of the inverse. twisted. sick, even. not even MENTIONING the fact that pete saying that “he’d be nowhere” without patrick in a fobrock q&a in 2005…….
