I think rei's solo is very much like, a love letter of sorts to his unit? as disjointed as they were at times they continued to support him and really did put their faith in him as their unit leader. Uh. I think so. at least. the first lines in the song sound like they're talking about his state in the past, how he'd felt frozen and unable to feel a thing. The chorus then goes on about how he'd been 'revived by passionate screams' and such. Koga's solo... (for one it's fucking great) uh, it sounds? and correct me if I'm wrong, sounds like its referring to rei? or more accurately, his and rei's past?
