Shadowheart's wedding is 100% semi-religious, for obvious reasons! We'll also look at this from a Selunite route because let's be real, in the bad route for Shadowheart I imagine you'd be made to become a Sharran and more so dedicate yourself to Shar rather than Shadowheart herself.

In the good route, though, the wedding is officiated by Isobel of course. Dame Aylin probably plays a part too, offering a blessing from Selune. In a way I also imagine she helps Isobel place a blessing on your rings with eternal protection from Selune. Druids from the Emerald Grove also attend the wedding, having never forgotten what you all did for them; I imagine they're the ones who grow night orchids for the wedding too.

The wedding itself is a grand affair. I imagine a bit further down the line when you two decide to marry, you return to the Selune temple from back in Act 1. I imagine Isobel and Dame Aylin returned to the area with the Selunite worshippers they joined up with and restored the temple and nearby village to its former glory. Your wedding is the first held there, and it's extravagant occasion. There is plenty to reminisce on being in the former goblin camp once more, reflecting on your travels together when there.

I imagine there's a wedding procession from Baldur's Gate, led by you and Shadowheart's wagon and followed by two-three wagons of your friends who are travelling for the wedding too- you travel through the former Shadowlands and friends from there join the procession too, all too happy to celebrate your joyous wedding.

Shadowheart's wedding dress is extravagant in everyway. I imagine it to be a mix of white, gold and light blue, with a golden moon fixed to the dip in the v-neck of it, and night orchids made into a beautiful flower crown for her, and in her bouquet along with a mix of red roses.

There is probably a Selune ritual that involves you both drinking milk from the same bowl before and after putting on your rings. I also imagine the wedding is held on the first night of a full moon, perhaps during the summer time too.

I imagine Karlach will be Shadowheart's maid of honour, and Lae'zel, Nocturne and Wyll would be her bridesmaids, while Halsin, Astarion and Gale are your bridesmaids/groomsmen.

The wedding is gorgeous and Shadowheart definitely cries at the sight of you. In her vows she swears by Selune that she'd love you to the end of time and beyond. She'd adventure by your side for the rest of days, and dedicate every breathing moment to you and your everlasting love. You made her forget loss and remember what love was, brought light back into her life. What more could she ever ask for?

If your character is a former dark urge, I imagine she'd also swear she'd fight Bhaal himself to keep you by her side.

You kiss after your vows and while Shadowheart cried from happiness she also covers your face in kisses after the initial one; a kiss to your forehead, your cheeks, and your lips again; you wear those lipstick stains like a badge of honour for the rest of the night.

The wedding is followed by a lovely party at the local tavern. You all enjoy wine and drinks and food music, dancing the night away with your love. When you both finally retire it is to the honeymoon suite, the large attic room with a large round window. You sleep for hours on end and in the morning, the two of you set off for your honeymoon, setting out for another adventure together, this time as a couple.

As for their honeymoon, I initially wanted them to have a mini world tour but someone on discord mentioned the idea of them going to Hawaii and I loved it hahaha, the petty part of myself wanted it just to spite on Zoey XD

Imagine all funny scenarios this could bring:

Zoey and Chase go to Hawaii to make up to what they lost, without knowing that's Logan and Quinn's honeymoon destination. Not wanting to interrupt their friends' peace (bc they know they won't be having much time for that on the next two years), they spend the majority of their stay hiding and getting their moments ruined by Quogan lol

Like let's pretend they can afford a room next to theirs, and the banging on the wall plus their friends not even bothering to stay quiet (as they should, it's their honeymoon and they need to enjoy all the time they can before Quinn is busy with work again for the next two years) would not let them get in the mood or even sleep well XD

Having rooms close also meant having to be careful and having to sneak out, and Chase being clumsy af would probably knock so many things on the way out of nervousness when they hear a sound.

Choey a trying to enjoy a romantic dinner but Logan and Quinn enter the restaurant, leading to a frantic game of hide-and-seek around the place, dodging waitstaff and trying not to ruin their special night. Kinda like Dinner for Two Many, but this time it's Logan and Quinn who interrupt the date. And Quogan is unaware the whole time and do actually enjoy their time.

They keep accidently getting on the same activities as Logan and Quinn and having to find a way to blend with the people or sneak out.

At the end of the vacation and honeymoon, Logan and Quinn do discover them, maybe on the way to the airport, but they're not mad or anything, they're like "oh hey, we didn't know you were here. We could have had a went out for a double date or something :)" they're probably just being nice, Logan is definitely glad they didn't come across them and he got to enjoy Quinn all to himself

Quogan had the time of their lives, so many romantic moments and a hella lot of sex, they were dedicated to each other and were on their little happy bubble.

Choey not so much lmao.

Why didn't they just let them know they were there and simply stay away? Idk, they're dumb like that.

Wherever Choey stayed together or the stress/miserable time made them break up is up to you, I personally hope they realize they really don't work or it was a sign for them to not be together idk, I don't vibe with them as a couple

You will be able to count how many fields there are here. It's difficult at ground level because the fences are stupid, but there's sixteen of them. TM16 in this game is Acrobatics, which is - and you can choose, I'm easy - either a reference to Brassius jumping off windmills because he has the confidence now through love, or me jumping off this ledge without a dragon and no Rotom Phone. (Yes, I will do a flip.)

Wasn't enough for you to give me a core-wyrm and a fore-wyrm, a marital signpost of a Pokemon, was it Game Freak, or stick a heart around Harvest C, or give Hassel a Flapple? Nope. FIELDS OF APPLIN. Yeah no, I'm fine...

hi! I hope you're having a lovely day :) feel free to ignore this if you don't want to do more work on tumblr lol, but you seem very knowledgeable about all sorts of historical and touristy things in Portugal, so I figured I'd ask anyway!

I'm going to north Portugal in September on my honeymoon, we're spending 5 days in Porto, then a couple of days near the Douro valley, and then a few days near Manteigas in the Serra da Estrela national park.

me and my husband are both very into museums/art galleries and historic buildings - is there anything in Porto that we absolutely shouldn't miss whilst we're there? is there any particular food we should try? do you have any recommendations for cafes or restaurants to visit?

Porto is beautiful and I promise you are going to love it, and I admit I'm excited about you going to Serra da Estrela. It's so quiet at that time of the year, all you hear is nature, it's just so peaceful. Also, please try the cheese. Serra da Estrela cheese is a sin, it's so good, and you can go straight to the source there.

In Porto, there is a lot to see, especially if you enjoy museums, monuments and galleries, so I'll list a few things:

Palácio da Bolsa is a must, in my opinion. I believe they have guided tours, if you are interested in that.

Clérigos Church, Hospital and Tower. The view from up there is amazing, but the whole building is rich with history and super interesting, and the church is beautiful.

Porto's Cathedral, which includes the Chapter House and has some amazing artworks inside.

The entire area of the old Borrough of Porto, which is the hill where the Cathedral sits on. That is where the oldest house in Porto is (in Beco dos Redemoinhos, it's about 700 years old), or where the "stairs of the queen" also are, said to have been the stairs taken Countess Teresa on her way to the church that would later become the Cathedral, and the watch tower in front of it.

There are points of interest you might come across as must-sees in Porto but you're better off standing there looking at it cause they're either expensive or they're a McDonalds. The McDonalds building is beautiful, yes. Majestic café is a unique art nouveau building, but it's SO expensive.

On that note, Lello. Lello is interesting and super beautiful, I am not one to discourage people from visiting it. But expect a long line. (it's right next to Clérigos and you can see it from there...). However, you can buy the tickets online (I think they're 5€) and that allows you to skip the line, and if you buy a book, the price of the ticket is deducted from your purchase.

For museums, Soares dos Reis has a lot of art, from painting to sculpture to decorative arts, and it's rich with some of the most important portuguese artists, focused mostly on the circle of Porto, especially from the 19th century.

Porto is known ofr being a vast sea of blue and white tiles. You don't have to look for them, you will just find them. However, Capelinha das Almas and Church of Santo Ildefonso are a good example (Ildefonso stares at Clérigos directly... they were once rivals).

And on THAT note... São Bento Train Station. It is worth it just standing there admiring the architecture and the tiles (keep in mind a lot of these things are stuff you can just include on a long walk)

Some streets... Rua das Flores, or famously Rua de Santa Catarina (where you'll find Majestic and Capelinha das Almas) they're all just very nice walks. Same for Ribeira (the riverside). No plans, just a walk while enjoying the view.

If you are interested in Contemporary Art, Fundação Serralves. At the very least, the gardens are wonderful and they're just a great place to rest and enjoy the afternoon (I think they have cafés there too, but I haven't been there in years, now).

Go on a Douro Valley tour. I cannot emphasise how great these are. You get to visit a handful of cellars, try several wines and enjoy a ride across the Douro. In Porto itself, they also have boat rides across the Douro, some might have wine, I'm not sure, but I find it so much more enriching to do a Douro Valley tour and be able to visit the cellars.

As for food and where to eat, I am not going to give you any restaurant names because I KNOW I have people from Porto who follow me and they can answer that better than I can, but there's 2 things I usually tell people to try in Porto.

One, of course, is Francesinha. It's going to feel like it's a lot. I call it a tower of bread with fibre for days. But try it, because nowhere else in Portugal can they make them as well as they make them in Porto. Besides it's one of the most important hallmarks of Porto culture, and I find that it's a fundamental experience in your journey to try Francesinha. It's like going to Valencia and trying Paella, you just HAVE to.

The other one is a personal opinion and choice of mine because, well, Portugal is known for codfish dishes and my all time favourite codfish dish was born in Porto and it's Bacalhau à Gomes Sá. If I'm not mistaken, it was born on a restaurant that was nearby Ribeira, somewhere in that area, and they actually put up a goddamn plaque celebrating this

Ribeira is the easiest place to find this dish, but it's going to be above average in price (I can guarantee you someone will come into this post to scream that it's a complete theft how expensive it is, but we're just poor and cheapskates, and the restaurants aren't bad. Again, they're going to be above average but not all are ridiculously overprices).

On a final note, if you're interested in doing a walk tour of Porto, there are several companies that do so, but I happen to know a guide who is currently living and working in Porto and I can ask her availability and you guys can agree on something if you're interested. Just let me know!

Other thoughts from this episode but I'm not coherent enough to articulate further than this:

Pat and Jeng, I know y'all just confessed and are enjoying shoving your tongues down each other's throats, but perhaps be careful of how far you're gonna go in the kitchen of a restaurant. Where food that people pay for is prepared. Just some thoughts.

Oh boy those two are handsy. I love seeing that actually. It's very obviously the honeymoon stage of their relationship and they want to touch each other and not just sexually, but the handholding, he knee bumping, the footsies. Just anything to be physically touching the other person as if to make sure they're actually together. That it's real.

Chot my beloved. I love him. What an excellent talk he had at the beginning of the episode with Pat. If nothing else, I'm glad he and Krist are good. And look how happy he was! I was jumping for joy for him when Krist told him he told his parents.

JAAB. WHAT. THE. FUCK. Who is Paint? Do I care? Only because he played with Jen's feelings so much? What happened to the pining boy at the beginning of the show. The boy who hugged Jen's jacket?

My only theory about Jaab is that Paint is a girl and he is dating her to try to soften the blow for Jeng when his parents find out. After that scene where Jaab comforted Jeng, Jaab must have realized how much pressure Jeng put on himself and how much pressure he was under from their parents and just how miserable his older brother was. So my ONLY guess is Paint is somehow parent-approved but Jaab still wants Jen. But even this is a stretch but I truly have no other idea.

I'm glad that Ae and Beam talked. Is his name Beam? Well I'm glad they talked and that it's Beam's unrequited crush and he'll be able to move on now. No unnecessary het drama. Thank you.

The end and the pain and all of it makes sense. Every bit of pain and miscommunication and every piece of Pat and Jeng's issues make so much sense. This is definitely going to be a hard fight and they are definitely going to need to keep fighting and keep choosing to love each other in order to make it through the other side and continue their relationship. It will be hard but they can do it.

Not quite as fancy as my 911 or tgd ones lol, more like the normal ones, just with the end of a liveblog as well :).

I made a post about this before coming back to this one, but happy 100th episode all!! Lowkey forgot this was the 100th anniversary lol. But it makes so much sense and it was a GREAT 100th episode :D.

I love that everyone had their little moment (at least): James with the music, Wesley with Oscar, Luna with her college classes, etc :). And just Randy, Chastity, Oscar, and Henry BEING there lol. Though to clarify Oscar was not at the wedding xD. But seriously, I really loved all the cameos and little character moments this episode :)).

Also CHENFORD AAAHHHH!!! Their MOMENTS this episode y'all I was losing it xD. I do kinda wish it hadn't been that Tim isn't supporting her despite thinking he is, though? Because the vibes last episode were just really on Tim's side, I guess, and now they're just tossing him into "bad guy" a bit. But, I think it'll work out in the end. I'm also glad Chastity brought up that Lucy could also be scared! I think that's a real possibility :). Anyway, they were ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE and whether it was the first time in universe or not, WHOOO FIRST I LOVE YOU!! And it was so cute :'D. Also the dance 😭😭😭❤️ stop I'm not okay :').

BAILEY AND JOHN ARE MARRIED!!! WHOOOOOO :'DDDD!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🎊🎉🥂🎂🥂🥰❤️❤️🥰. I'm so happy for them :'DD

They might not be my favorite couple on the show but I still love them and this has been a long time coming. I'm also glad that despite all the issues they still had the wedding and everything was okay and beautiful 🥰🥰. Thank goodness they actually had it and we saw it lol (looking at you Wopez - still mad at the writers for that). Also I'm SO EXCITED for the next episode with their honeymoon :D.

I felt so bad for Celina and Aaron this episode 😭. Aaron because poor boy is going through it and misreading signals/situations xd, and Celina because she's trying to be there for him and do what's best and she as also, you know, kidnapped and beat up xD. But, I think they'll make it through it :).

Really though Aaron you need to talk to your therapist 😭. It's dangerous going out when you know you're not healing :(. Hope he learns it soon D':.

I loved all the togetherness moments this episode!! The bachelor and bachelorette parties (y'all I can't articulate it beyond loving individual characters and them all hanging out but oUAGH chomping on it)/last minute preparations xD were SO GOOD!! And the wedding, especially the dancing :'D. AUOGH, I love them <333. And of course the final mission at the end - they slay together :DD. Also, I'm glad Celina's okay :')).

Don't even get me started on the Wopez/Wesley angst. Y'all I'm about to have so many thoughts about them moving forward (even more than usual/always xD). Like! AUGH! OSCAR!! SITTING ACROSS FROM HIM!! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR THIS

hello, hello, happy wincest wednesday! ACTUALLY ON WEDNESDAY! Miracles do happen.

Ohh I do love painful s4 re-hooking-up, ESPECIALLY when it doesn't fix anything because it can't because the apocalypse is on rails and they WILL end up in that horrible honeymoon suite with the world cracked in two, and then be left to mend together the broken pieces. (Which they will, they do. Ahh what a great ship. Anyway--)

It's tempting to say 4.01, but there's no time for that really. I guess you can crack open a tiny bit of space between Bobby leaving them in that motel room and Sam bailing to go chat with Ruby -- one could fuck in there, I guess -- but I kinda don't want them to. Things are off and Dean can tell and he's also jumpy and freaked out and, god, really really needs some sleep. Plus, like immediately after all that there are angels, which probably puts a crimp in your brotherfucking stride (especially with a newly terrified Dean).

So -- given that, and given how 4.04 is Not A Happy Time, I really prefer 4.05, Monster Movie. Jamie's perfectly nice but really I think Dean needs a good, thorough rogering. (Samming?) It's a good spot: Dean's still raw after hell, obv, but his edges are screaming slightly less -- Sam's "agreed" not to do demon stuff anymore -- they're in a place where they're genuinely enjoying each other's company, even if Sam went to see whatever movie while Dean was dead. (How dare!) You can basically swap out the Jamie reconnection for Dean, sure, kissing her after the case, but then his eyes lift over her head and Sam's standing there watching, not mad and not jealous/envious but just -- waiting, glad to see Dean getting something good, knowing that whatever happens they've got something else waiting. So Dean makes sure Jamie gets home safe, and comes back to the motel where Sam's sitting up, watching -- hey, that movie again, maybe -- and they reconnect like they should have, the whole time.

s4 really doesn't let up, and it's AWESOME for that but also... oh boy, it really puts a hurt on established relationship, haha. (I mean, the canon one and the sexual one, they're one and the same basically.) Given a reconnection at 4.05, I can see them breaking it off again at 4.14 (the siren ep) for wildly obvious reasons, and it's possible that they don't manage to settle back together again until... shit, just before 5.06? Or not at all during s5, which honestly would be reasonable. Things are so hard and harsh and terrible. In a ER-but-they-broke-up-after-the-siren-world, I can see them not even kissing or w/e before Swan Song -- because what matters is just being close and together, shoulder to shoulder -- and then maybe it's not until Sam gets his soul back, virgins getting kidnapped in Portland, that Dean finally gets to look up into Sam's eyes and see his brother whole and real and his looking back, and say -- yes. Yes, finally, at last.

Tropes: Enemies to Lovers, Fake Dating, Forced Proximity

I read this book initially because of booktok, which I've come to learn is never a good idea. Also, book recommendations on Instagram, lol. Since reading is so subjective, it's best to find people who love the same books that you love for the same reasons, so that you can get recommendations that you'll probably love too. This is a prime example.

The Unhoneymooners follows Olive and Ethan. Olive's sister and Ethan's brother are married, but at the wedding everyone gets super sick (huge vomit warning, it was crazy asl) and so they're not able to go on their honeymoon. Coincidentally, Olive and Ethan are the only ones at the wedding not to get sick, and so they take their sibling's honeymoon for them. The only downsides are that they've hated each other for years, and have to pretend to be newlyweds.

I took a chance on this book because I genuinely dislike the whole "sister's boyfriend's brother" thing. Since the two side characters were married, it technically made the main pairing siblings-in-law. This made me super uncomfortable for obvious reasons, but I decided to overlook it.

Honestly, it was a pretty good romance for what I do remember. This was another pretty unmemorable book, but unlike my last review, I actually can remember some of the "good parts". The characters together made a super cute pair. Aside from the weird ass massage scene, I remember enjoying it. Though it's far from my favorite compared to other romances. The biggest thing is that, while the writing is coherent and cohesive in its structure, the development of subplots and such is a bit lacking.

I do recommend this book, but I'll talk a bit more about the plot under the cut. Spoiler warning!

Honestly I really liked the way that the relationship developed over the story, when they were swimming together holding hands even when they were far enough away from others so that they didn't have to. It felt special, like it was just for them.

I genuinely really hated that scene in the closet (bathroom?) on the boat. If you know, you know. That shit was weird.

When they had their big falling out, it didn't feel like the miscommunication trope at all but it did feel like Ethan was being unreasonable. I understand taking your sibling's side, but when you have blatant evidence that your brother's been lying to you, I feel like it's just willfully being ignorant at that point and being angry that it was even being alleged.

The whole breakup just felt unnecessary and bored me a bit, it felt like the separation period was necessary but it didn't have to be on a negative note just because your siblings are fighting.

I'm glad that in the end he came around and apologized, but I'm not super happy with what happened in Olive's career. I feel like she was only fired for realism, it didn't really add anything to the story otherwise.

I'm going to answer this for Broken Blessings, a WIP set in alt history urban fantasy 2000s (an introduction is coming soon I promise-). so the place they're at is most likely a hotel

Hey is some level of anxious because of the storm. He's not very good around loud noises and bright lights but he will dry his darndest to hide that, mostly by focusing on making sure everyone else is comfortable and settling in well.

Crow is tired from traveling and when she's tired she needs alone time so she will acquire a separate room, even if that involves throwing someone out. She won't be mean to the workers though, they don't get paid enough to have an entire Crow unleashed upon them.

This is Dusty's first time at a hotel and by the God that is them they'll enjoy all the aspects of it. She'll chat up everyone from workers to lodgers, somehow talk his way into having a free meal and an extra blanket. They don't really understand personal space so he'll probably try sharing a bed with Hey to keep their human safe, curling up like a cat and hissing at anyone who dares approach her favorite human.

Agent Falcon and Agent Owl, who are supposed to be Discreet and Secretive, will try to blend in as a couple on a honeymoon but will forget who's supposed to be crossdressing again and end up posing as Mr. and Mr. Fowl (this has happened before). They will attempt to figure out which room is closest to the one Dusty is staying in, hijinks ensue and they end up taking the VIP room Crow has set her mind to kicking the rich sweethearts out of.

Sleepy (the one named after you! His name is Terry but he goes by Sleepy a lot) would be glad to lie down and be unconscious for any amount of hours. He has insomnia and chronic pain and any amount of rest will not go unappreciated by him. However if he and Hey and Dusty are in the same room Dusty will certainly take it upon herself to prove how good they are at protecting their human and try to threaten Sleepy with horrors beyond his imagination. Sleepy is likely to fall asleep to the descriptions of what a deity scorned can unleash upon his mind and body but I don't think he minds. Or pays attention, really. Dusty thinks they're rivals until death but Sleepy hasn't really caught onto that yet.

Weed and Eddie, if they are traveling with the rest, are likely to ask for a separate room. Weed is more social than Crow but he's most comfortable in crowds of two people or less. Also they would feel more comfortable cuddling if they're alone, and Weed needs cuddles at all times always.
