Blow Us All Away | Philip Hamilton (Chapter 11)
(Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10)
‘Two Years Later’
"Philip is coming, hoooooooooooooome!" Angelica sang as she danced about the house.
"Heard you the first time Angie," Y/N laughed.
Angelica paused her dancing and stood in front of Y/N, "I'm surprised you haven't joined me yet. He's your partner, anyway."
"Oh, believe me, Ange, I can't wait for him to come home again. But, before I can dance with you, I need to head up to the market."
"Well, can I come with you?" Angie pleaded, giving Y/N her best puppy dog eyes.
Y/N chuckled, "Oh no, Ange. It's that time of year, you know?"
Christmas had always been Angelica's favourite time of the year. Even more ever since Philip was off at college, and he could only come home at Christmas.
What really made it special, was that she got to spend it with her family, something she felt she rarely got to do, with how big her family was.
Angelica broke into the widest grin Y/N had ever seen, but before Angie could even beg, Y/N cut her off, knowing what she was going to say, "And I'm not telling you what I'm getting you."
Angie's smile disappeared, "Oh, come on, Y/N! You know I hate secrets!"
"Well, I've kept your last three Christmas presents a secret, surely you must be used to it?"
"Exactly! You've kept them a secret every year... you can't just give me one year with no secret?"
"Unfortunately, yes. It's the law." Y/N explained.
"Wha- no, there's no such law,"
"Yeah, well, it's a thing," Y/N said with a shrug.
"Oh, yeah, it's definitely a thing," Angie nodded.
(if you understand this reference, please be my friend)
"But can I at least come with you? I can help you with everyone else's gifts?"
Y/N bit the inside of her cheek as she thought.
She didn't have the best idea for the other children's presents, and she knew she would need help.
With a reluctant sigh, she agreed, "Fine. But I'm not letting you find out what I'm getting you."
"If you say so," Angie giggled, before the two left the house, and ventured toward the markets.
As soon as the opened the door, the cold air hit them like a brick, "Jeez it's cold," Y/N shivered, "I'm going back inside and getting a coat, you want one?"
"No thanks," Angie replied, staring at the snow slowly falling from the sky.
Y/N chuckled, "Nice one, your coats are in your drawers right? Or did you finally start hanging them in your closet like any normal child?"
Angie sent Y/N a pissed off look, "Was that really necessary?"
"Answer the question."
Angelica just sighed, "I'm serious, Y/N, I don't want a coat!"
"Fine!" Y/N sighed, knowing she would regret that.
—————
The two were walking around in the markets, as Angelica was just trying to hide her intense shivering.
"Angie, I swear you, could've got a coat," Y/N sighed.
"I-I told you, I-I didn't ne-need one, a-and I st-still don't need one." she retorted, her teeth chattering like crazy.
"Don't be ridiculous Ange, you can just take my coat," Y/N offered, but to no avail.
"N-no thank you," Angie said, "And b-besides, you-you're wearing one of Ph-Philip's coats. I-I don't want anyone to think I-I'm dating a man."
"Right," Y/N nodded hesitantly, before a stall caught her eyes, holding something that would be perfect for Angelica, "Hey, you go ahead, I'm gonna get something." she told Angelica, who looked up at her, eyes sparkling.
"F-for me?" she asked hopefully.
"It won't be unless you go." Y/N laughed.
"Fine." she sighed, before walking ahead without Y/N.
Y/N walked up to the stall, when the man behind the counter eyes her suspiciously, "Aren't you the same kid who used to steal from here?"
Y/N just rolled her eyes, "So what if I was, so what if I wasn't. I've got the money, you've got the stuff I want." she finished, reaching into her tote bag and slamming a small pouch of coins onto the counter.
Yes, Eliza insisted that Y/N take some of her money, for Christmas presents, as much as Y/N protested.
—————
While Y/N was speaking with the worker, Angelica did as she was told, and wandered around aimlessly.
A stall filled with birds caught her eye, and she quickly walked toward it.
As she browsed around, a familiar voice interrupted her, “Angelica?”
Angie whipped around, to face the one and only Theodosia Burr (Jr), in her beautiful sky blue dress and coat. Her thick brown hair was tucked in a low ponytail, small strands floating near her cheeks.
”Theo? Wh-what are y-you doing here?” She asked, already feeling the blush rise to her cheeks.
Theo giggled, quickly hiding her hands behind her back, “Oh, you know….”
Angelica laughed, which filled Theodosia with butterflies in her stomach, “W-whatcha got there, Th-Theo?”
Theodosia smirked, which only flustered Angelica even more, “You’ll find out soon enough,”
Angelica sighed, “Se-seriously, what’s everyone’s deal wi-with hiding th-their Christmas presents from me?”
Theo chuckled, “You understand that’s a regular thing, right?”
"I-I get it, b-but I j-just wa-wanted a-a break thi-this year." Angelica stuttered, making Theo giggle.
She took whatever she was hiding behind her back and hid it in her skirt pocket so Angelica wouldn't see.
"Here," she began, a warm smile on her face as she took off her coat and handed it to Angelica, "Take my coat."
"I-I couldn't," Angie said, even though she really needed it.
"Please, Ange, you're freezing." she insisted.
Angelica's cheeks warmed up at her nickname as she smiled ear to ear. She liked her name just fine, but when she called her by her nickname? It was like heaven.
She could go on all night long about how much she loved the way it rolled off her tongue so effortlessly.
"Angelica?" Theodosia asked, a confused look on her face.
"Huh?" Angie asked, getting snapped out of her thoughts, only to be met with a laughing Theodosia.
"You're day dreaming on me, Ange."
"Oh, sorry!" Angie cried, her face flushed with embarrassment.
Theo only laughed more, "Don't apologize, it's adorable." she said, before blushing madly, almost as much as Angelica - if that were even possible.
"O-oh," she stuttered, this time it wasn't just because of the cold, "Uh, th-thanks. B-but you can keep your coat."
"Don't be ridiculous." she scoffed, a warm smile on her face as she practically threw her coat at Angelica.
Angelica reluctantly slid on the coat, a small smile tugging at her lips.
The smell of Theodosia instantly warmed her up, bringing a blush to Angelica's cheeks.
"Thanks," she said barely in a whisper.
The two stared into each other's eyes, as if they were the only two people alive, until the butterflies and blushes were too much for Angelica.
"Well, I-I should probably go." she stuttered, slowly walking away.
"O-oh, yeah. Well, I'll see you around then," Theo said, trying to hide her disappointment.
"Oh, and don't forget to write me," Angelica called, receiving a wide smile from Theodosia, before she disappeared into the crowd.
Angie eventually made her way back to Y/N, who had most likely hidden her Christmas presents in her tote bag.
"We ready to go now?" Angelica asked, slightly out of breath.
"Yeah-" Y/N went to answer but stopped when she saw Angelica's red cheeks, "Damn, Angie, who were you talking to?"
"No one!" she answered quickly, before speed walking away, Y/N eventually following suit.
Angie was walking hastily, trying not to give anything about Theodosia away.
Unfortunately, the bright blush on her cheeks and her newly borrowed coat was all Y/N needed.
"Who were you talking to just then?" Y/N asked with a smirk.
"Oh, just a friend." she replied, too quickly once again.
Y/N spun on her heel to walk backwards, and spotted a girl in a sky blue dress, the blush on her cheeks almost as bright as Angelica's, "Is that her coat?"
"N-no!" Angie cried, not even wanting to look back, practically accepting that Y/N knew.
"Oooo," Y/N sang, "Does Angie have a girlfriend?"
"Y/N," Angelica hissed, "You can't say things like that!"
"Is it true though?"
Angelica looked down at her shoes, "Maybe..." she mumbled.
Y/N smiled ear to ear, "Angie!" she cheered, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
Angie stopped in her tracks and looked up at Y/N, "Y-you're ok with it?"
"Uh, of course I am!" Y/N stated like it was obvious.
A small tear rolled down Angelica's cheek, "S-so, you're not gonna tell my mama and papa?"
"Of course not, Ange," Y/N began, her voice as sweet as honey, "You can tell them whenever you're ready."
"Really?"
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes, "For the millionth time, Ange, yes! I think it's beautiful."
Angelica smiled and let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding, "Thank goodness," she sighed.
"I love you, Ange. You know that?"
Angelica smiled wider, if that were even possible, "I love you too." she beamed, pulling Y/N into a tight hug.
When they finally pulled away from each other and wiped away some tears, Y/N smirked, "Now I get to annoy you about you and your girlfriend!"
Angelica smiled at the thought of calling Theodosia her girlfriend, but it disappeared just as quick as it appeared when she realized what Y/N had said, "Oh, god," she groaned, "What have I done?"
"You've given me too much power, Angie. You have no idea what you've released into the world. You and..." Y/N paused, before facing Angelica, "What's your girlfriend's name?"
Angelica's smile reappeared and her stomach filled with butterflies, "Theodosia Burr. Jr." she added.
"Oh shit," Y/N whispered, "Doesn't your father hate her father?"
"Well," she squeaked, "Hate's a strong word."
"That's why I used it."
"I prefer the term, 'frenemies'." Angelica explained, but was only met with a blank look from Y/N.
"Uhhhhh." she mumbled.
"It'll catch on." Angelica said with a smirk.
"Will it?"
"Yes." she answered 'matter of factly'.
"Well anyway," Y/N began, changing the subject, "You guys got a classic Romeo and Juliet story going on, so that'll be super cute."
"Y/N! They both died in the end!"
"They were straight, Angie. You guys will do a much better job."
"Why does that make me feel better?"
Y/N just shrugged.
—————
Angelica and Y/N finally arrived back home, the Hamilton family waiting for them.
"Where have you two been?" Eliza asked.
"Sorry we ran late, we just had some last minute things to do," Y/N answered quickly, glancing at Angelica
"Oh, that's fine dear," she responded, before her smile turned into a smirk, "I just thought you would've wanted to see Philip when he came home."
"He's home?" Y/N and Angie asked in unison, to which Eliza responded with a laugh.
"Yes, he's up in his room, just waiting for you two."
Y/N's eyes widened, while Angelica sprinted upstairs without a second thought.
Angelica burst through the door, practically jumping to Philip to hug him.
"I missed you so much, Philip!" she squealed as Philip slowly hugged her back.
"I-I missed you too, Ange," he chuckled, "But do you think I could breathe for a second?"
"No," she answered with no hesitation, before she whispered, "Did you get it?"
Angelica didn't even have to look up to know that her brother was blushing, "Yes, now keep quiet about it."
As the two pulled away from each other, they saw the door slowly open revealing Y/N, who was blushing just as much as Philip.
"H-hey, Y/N." Philip greeted, mentally cursing himself for stuttering.
"Hey," Y/N smiled at him, before embracing him in a tight hug, "Took you long enough."
Philip didn't hesitate to hug Y/N back, just as tight, "I missed you so much."
They could've hugged for hours, until Angelica interrupted them, by loudly clearing her throat.
"I believe Philip has something he wants to say." Angelica announced, an innocent smile on her lips.
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes while Philip sighed and pulled away from the hug, sending Angie a hard look.
Angelica threw her hands up in the air in frustration, "Just tryna speed things along. Honestly, you two would be nowhere without me."
"Hey," Philip said, clearly annoyed.
"Sorry, too soon," Angie apologized, "But seriously-"
"Dude," Philip groaned, Angelica taking this as a signal to leave.
The room became filled with silence, until Y/N broke it, "I missed you too, Pip."
Philip smiled, which gave Y/N butterflies, before he leaned in for a small kiss.
"So what did you want to say?" Y/N asked.
Philip's cheeks went bright red at Y/N’s words, “O-oh yeah… right,” he said, before taking Y/N‘s hands.
"Y/N," he began, fear evident in his shaky voice, "I keep in the sanctuary of my heart, every minute we shared because from the first moment I was totally overwhelmed by you.
I do not know how it has been possible to live without your support and cheerfulness, without every letter you send, and every time you're with me.
You encourage me to get up every morning, to do great deeds for you, and to constantly become better.
You are my inspiration, my motivation, and my desired goal.
You know like nobody what happiness is and where it is hidden.
We both want to have a colorful and memorable life, and together we can make our dreams come true.
I want to become your happily-ever-after, and I will do my best for your incredible smile to never fade.
You are the greatest and the most precious gift given to me by this life, so I wish the whole world knew about my infinite and limitless love for you.
The love we share makes my life beautiful.
I can’t imagine my life without you in it.
Life has many sweet moments and I want to enjoy each one with you.
You are the one I want to be for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer.
I promise to do everything I can to be a perfect match for you and to become a husband you deserve.
My voice is trembling, and my heart beats at a furious pace, as I hope you will say yes and make me the luckiest man on Earth.
Y/N L/N, will you do the honor of marrying me?"

Philip(a)
Title: Philip(a)
TW: transphobia, and there’s some cute wholesome fluff at the end ;)
Word Count: 1643
Chapter: 1
Summary: Philip is trans, Alexander isn’t too happy.
“Dad? Are you busy?” Philip sighed into his father’s office. Alex, stressing out, replied back to his son. “Yes, Philip?” Philipa could see her father’s roots turning grey. Clearly from stress, she’s never seen a man work harder. She wasn’t quite sure how her dad would react to his son actually being his daughter.
“I have something important to say.” Alex nodded, “sure, i’m not too busy right now,” Alex turned in his chair. “whats goin’ on in that mind of yours?” Alex didn’t know that his wife, Eliza was patiently waiting for them both outside the door.
Eliza knew that Philipa is transgender, and she loves her daughter all the same. Eliza however, wasn’t too sure of how Alex reacts to this stuff, as he is a man of traditions, and she’s pretty positive the term ‘transgender’ isn’t too good in his vocabulary.
“Dad, i’m..” Philipa sighed, looking down. “i’m a girl.” Alex raised an eyebrow. “What are you telling me Philip?” Eliza could basically hear Philipa’s heart crack in half. Eliza whispered to herself, ‘c’mon alex, don’t do what i think you’re about to do.’
“Its just that.. my mind and body don’t match! To make it simple.” Philipa sounded so overjoyed to be coming out to her dad. Alex on the other hand? not so joyous. “You want me to call you a name that you just.. picked? Me and your mother gave you your name for a reason. You are named after your grandfather. Philip Schuyler,” Alex took a sip of his water. “Is this some prank? Are you and your mother up to something?” He sounded legitimately concerned. Not because his daughter just came out as trans, but because he thought it was a joke.
“Alexander. Do you know how much you just hurt her? Please, support her.” Eliza spouted out at her husband. By this time, Philipa left the room. Well, she stood outside the door, eavesdropping on her mom and dad. Her heart broke as she heard what her parents were saying.
“What about him Eliza? I raised a SON. Not a daughter. I need my son to carry on my legacy and so far he’s been doing just FINE—“ Alex dragged on.
“Alexander,” Her voice was stern, strong. “Your daughter is JUST as strong as anyone else. Please, Alex. Just try to understand her. I know.. I know it’s new to you. It was new to me too—“ Eliza felt hot tears welling in her eyes.
“Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, I raised a SON. For the past 18 years, I’ve wanted to teach him things i was never taught as a kid.” Eliza stopped him. “And you can still do that! We can give her the same life we’ve been giving her! It won’t be.. too different!” Alex had a stiff look on his face. “No. We can’t, and we fucking won’t. Because I won’t have that in our home.”
Philipa, still outside of the door, was sitting down, her legs in her chest. She let out small sobs, trying not to alarm her parents. She speedily and shakily walked to her bedroom, and packed some clothes she would need.
(Theo- child / Theodosia- wife)
She knew where to go. Theo’s home. The Burr house was always accepting, considering Mr. Aaron accepting Theo as pansexual. She dragged her bag full of clothes along the street, seeing the Burr residence in the distance.
Sooner than she thought, she knocked on the door. “Anyone home?..” Philipa heard Mrs. Burr call out “Aaron, hon can you get the door?” Seconds later, Philipa was looking at a very confused Aaron. Theo was right on the side of him, grabbing onto his arm.
Aaron had noticed how frigid it was outside, so he immediately let the girl in. “Philip, what’re you doing out so late? Its freezing outside! Get in here!” Philipa shivered as she walked in the door, she probably should’ve worn a coat.
Aaron saw Philipa shivering, her teeth chattering. “Do you want a blanket?” Philipa nodded, seeing Theo concerned, still attached to her father. “When i get back, you’re telling me why you’re out here with a bag.” Burr stated.
Philipa placed her bag down by the couch she was sitting on, then cuddled up against the arm of the seat. Theo stayed behind while Burr walked off to get a blanket, so Theo sat next to her.
“Hello Philip. Why were you out so late? Aren’t your parents worried about you?” Theo asked her. Philipa shook her head, “They hadn’t known that i headed out. Its a.. long story.” Theo nodded. “I’ve got time.” Philipa and Theo have been childhood friends, considering that the two kids were born around the same time with their parents as friends, they’re bound to be at least acquaintances.
“Listen, Theo, you’re pansexual right?” The girl nodded. “Yes i am, why’re you asking? Something up?” Philipa nodded.
“You know of the term transgender then, don’t you?” Philipa’s hands were shaky.
“I do, is this about you being trans? I figured you were for a while. I was going to ask you about it tomorrow, but it seems that doesn’t have to happen?” Theo looked over to the kitchen, where her mother seemed to be eavesdropping on the two.
“Is there something else that you’d rather be called instead of Philip?” Theo questioned. Philipa nodded, “Yes, if you don’t mind. I’d like to go by Philipa now, if that’s alright.” Theo nodded.
“Of course, Philipa. If you’re happy—“ Theo had gotten cut off because Burr walked in with a thick blanket and 3 cups of tea. “Why don’t we all have a chat, hm?” Burr asked.
“So, Philipa? Is it? Why did you have to leave your house at,” he checked his watch. “11pm? Did Alex tell you something? You are his child! and if he did anything to you i’ll bea—“ Philipa stopped him.
“Please, Mr. Burr that won’t be necessary. He.. he’s probably just confused.. is all. I was listening to my parents talk and.. my father said he wouldn’t have ‘that’ in his home, so i presumed he wanted me gone. I won’t be able to go back there for a while, unless my mother can persuade him otherwise. Would you be as kind as to allow me to stay here until this blows over?” Philipa curled under the blanket and sipped on her tea, while she watched Burr’s face change from concerned to angry.
“Of course you can stay here dear! Do you have enough clothes for however long you plan on staying?” Theodosia asked. Philipa was already feeling better, Theo’s home was a nice place to be when she was stressed or needed a place to stay.
“I think i do, i just packed what i think i’ll need.”
Theo immediately got a smug look on her face. “Theo? what are you thinking?”
She lead Philipa up to her bedroom, Theo opening the door, introducing Philipa to tens of possibly hundreds of nightgowns and dresses Hercules Mulligan has made for her in the past. “These are my old dresses that the Mulligans made for me. They don’t.. fit me anymore. Maybe you’d like to try a few?”
Philipa turned a bright red, then nodded. Theo stepped out of the room, allowing Philipa to try on whatever she’d like.
What caught Philipa’s eyes first was this beautiful powder blue dress with a white section going down the chest. A gorgeous navy blue was sectioned off at the bottom of the dress. It had a faintly feathered out collar, along with long sleeves. Philipa took the dress off of the hanger, and slipped it on. She turned around to find a body-length mirror starring at her. She finally felt.. like herself. She picked up the sides of the dress, and dropped them back.
She let her hair out of the tight ponytail it was in, and let it drape around her face, covering her ears. “Theo? Come in please!” Theo walked in, gasping at the sight in front of her. Her best friend, was standing in front of her in her first dress from her very first Winter’s Ball.
“Does.. Do i look bad?” Philipa was worried, but then again.. not so worried. She felt okay. “Of course not. You look like you’re ready for a ball— and also ready to steal everyone’s man.”
They both broke out into laughter, it was the closest Philipa and Theo have been in a long time.
“Actually, i’m ready to steal everybody’s man. and woman.” Philipa sighed out. Theo raised her eyebrows. “Really now?” Burr and Theodosia watched as the two girls chuckled and made jokes.
Burr and Theodosia walked back downstairs. “Should i go and tell Alexander and Eliza that.. Philipa is here?” Theodosia asked. Burr shook his head, it was already getting late. If Alexander really wanted his daughter gone— he could wait. Eliza was probably worried sick though. The couple headed to bed, telling the two girls that it was getting quite late.
“Alright you two, it’s time for bed. Goodnight Theo, Philipa.” They both waved and said goodnight. Theo gave Philipa one of her old nightgowns, then they went to bed. Theo has 2 beds in her room, so they each got a bed to themselves.
Philipa felt secure and happy. For now.

Piano lesson 7:00
Theodosia couldn't figure out who her soulmate was. Whoever he was, he must be really bad at piano. Every week, at least three times a week, piano lesson would show up on her arm. It had taken her four or five occasions of having it scribbled messily on her arm to actually figure out what it said. Theodosia, ever the perfectionist, was disgusted at the scribbles that covered her arms. All. The. Time.
Learn to write, she wrote, her letters looping elegantly along her arm. You write like a child.
Sorry if not all of us can write calligraphy.
Well, at least his writing was more legible when he tried.
Theo looked at her arm. Why was his writing so messy-was he a child? Was he even a he or was her soulmate a girl?
Piano lesson 5:45
Ooh, changing things up a bit.
Why not 7:00?
They didn't answer. She took the hand sanitizer from her bag and rubbed the pen off, the blue smearing down her arm.
What's your name?
Still nothing.
Your hand writing looks really good today.
Thanks. I've been working on it for you.
Wouldn't want your arms to be littered with my ugly handwriting.
Theodosia looked down at her arm in shame.
I didn't mean to be mean
But it was.
I'm sorry.
Yeah I bet…
 I am! I'm just a perfectionist.
I didn't mean to hurt you.
There was no reply for a time. Theodosia sighed and set her pen down on the desk. She rubbed the hand sanitizer over her arm and wiped off the blue once more, along with the black lines from his pen.
French page 283 1-16 even
Theo smiled at his forgetfulness. She looked down at the homework planner in front of her. French homework. Page 283, numbers 1-16, even. Due Monday. It was due today, next class, and he had yet to do it.
He was in her French class.
Which narrowed it down to about fifteen boys. She hastily began scribbling the answers on her arm. Good thing it was multiple choice.
Answers to French homework, she scribbled. Hurry up. It's almost time for class.
She hid her arm under the desk and prayed that no one would see her. She was a good kid; she had never cheated before. Or helped someone else cheat. It was just homework, right? It wasn't that bad. She grew anxious the more time that went by. The bell was going to ring soon. She couldn't risk being caught cheating. She was a shoo in for valedictorian. Getting caught would ruin everything.
I'm done. Thank you.
Oh thank god. She took her hand sanitizer out and cleaned her hands, her arms, everything. Almost obsessively. ‘I gotta get rid of it all. All the evidence.’
The bell rang and everyone around her was picking up their books. She kept her movements as calm as she could, wondering if anyone knew that she just helped someone cheat. She pushed her books in her bag and walked to her next class; French.
Theo couldn't concentrate during class; not knowing that her soulmate was in the room. He was here. He had a much easier job than she did; there were only three girls in the class. Should she wait for him to find her, or should she try to figure it out?
She fidgeted in her seat, clicking her pen before she finally wrote on her arm. She had to know. She drew a small flower on her arm and watched around the room. She had the perfect seat in the back corner of the room where she could watch every one of her classmates.
You draw like a child.
She looked down at the writing and smirked.
I guess we both have our faults, then. Huh?
She looked around the room and watched the curly head boy in the opposite corner looking down and smiling.
I've been working on my writing, you can learn to draw.
Theo smiled down once more. She had to be careful not to get caught by the teacher. She scribbled another terribly drawn flower on her arm and returned to her classwork.
Wanna meet up after class? Locker 729
I'll see you there. I like your hair by the way.
She watched as his ears turned red and his head whipped around the room.
Theo?
You smiled at him and waved across the room, laughing quietly to yourself as you watched his eyes grow wide, his cheeks flushing, his head whip back to his classwork.
Class couldn't finish fast enough. They walked out of class together, walking side by side, silently, but not uncomfortably. Theo couldn't help but smile at the tinge of pink that moved up to the tips of Philip's ears. His hands were shaking as he reached for the combination lock on his locker. He tugged on the lock, expecting it to open and flushing a deeper red when it did not. His hands spun the lock fast, speeding past the right numbers, flushing when it wouldn't open again.
“Philip, calm down,” she whispered soothingly.
“Do you want to go on a date sometime?” He blurted out.
Theo smiled at him. “Of course. Just promise you'll stop freaking out and calm down.”
“Wait, you'll- You wanna go on a date with me?”
Theo laughed. “Of course I will. You are my soulmate after all.” She kissed his cheek gently before walking away to her own locker. She could feel the words appearing on her skin as she walked away.
Date with Theo- 7:00?
Date with Philip- 7:00.
Philip showed up at Theo’s house wearing a light green polo shirt and dark jeans, a small bouquet of flowers in his hand. Theo loved the flowers- black eyed susans had always been her favorite. Rudbeckia hirta. Plants, and flowers in general, were her main hobby.
“These are my favorite,” she smiled. “How did you know?”
Philip blushed as Theo beamed, holding the flowers gently in her hands. “They just looked like something you would like. I got them from my mom’s flower bed.”
“They're beautiful,” she said, the smile still lighting up her face. “Let me go put them in water and I'll be right back.”
She walked to the kitchen to grab a mason jar for the flowers, Aaron taking her place in the doorway. “What do you plan on doing tonight?”
“Well, sir, I planned on bringing her on a walk and then, time permitting, I'd like to teach her how to play a little bit of piano… sir.”
“And that's all?”
“That's all, Mr Burr. Maybe we could stop for food somewhere. I have money to pay with.”
They could hear Theo walking closer and Aaron stepped back smiling. “I'll see you two no later than 9:30.” He gave Theo a kiss on the cheek as she moved in to hug him. “You look beautiful, Theo. Have fun, you two.” He shook Philip's hand. “No later than 9:30. And be sure you stick to your plans, Philip.”
“Yes, sir. She'll be back before 9:30, promise.”  He grabbed Theo's hand and they walked to the car, Philip leading her to the passenger seat before jumping in the driver’s seat. “You ready to go?”
“Of course. I'm excited,” she said. She was bouncing in her seat. She had been writing to the gorgeous boy next to her for months, and they had both taken so long to figure it out. Their soulmate had been their childhood best friend. “Pip?”
He smiled at the old nickname. “Hmm?”
“Why did we ever grow apart?”
He grabbed her hand and held it in his, their hands resting gently on the center console. “I don't know Thee. It might have something to do with the fact that girls have cooties.” He smirked. “But I think we just grew apart. We got other friends, started hanging out with them more and just didn't hang out as much. But just like we grew apart, we’ll grow together. I'm not losing you again Thee.”
“I don't want you to lose me.”
Philip pulled into a hidden alcove and put the car in park. He pushed the center console out of the way and leaned over, his face closing in on Theo’s. “ I dare you to kiss me,” he whispered against her cheek.
“I dare you to get in the backseat with me,” she shot back, a smirk shining on her face. Philip’s eyes widened and his hands fumbled with the seat belt while Theo got out of the car and climbed in back. His fingers finally figured out the latch and he stumbled out of the car, tripping over his own feet. He threw the back door open and jumped inside, where Theo pushed her body at his.
Philip squeaked as her legs straddled his lap, her lips pressing against his. Her hands came up to frame his face, pulling him closer. The skirt of her dress rode up ever so slightly and Philip couldn't control his body.
Their chests pushed against one another, their breathing synchronizing as they pulled away from the kissing to breathe. Their lips brushed against one another as their bodies shook with each breath. “God I've wanted to kiss you again for so long,” Philip whispered against Theo's lips. “It's been- what?- seven years?”
“Yeah,” Theo murmured, her cheeks tinged pink. “Almost eight. It was my tenth birthday. You were my first kiss. And now you're my first real kiss.” She leaned down, her head resting on the beating in Philip's chest. The soft heartbeats pounded against her cheek. The silence was familiar, comfortable. They sat, tangled in each other's arms, just enjoying the feeling of being held.
“We should probably go do what I told your father we were going to do,” Philip said, breaking the silence. “I think you'll enjoy it.” He leaned over and pushed the car door back open, his lips still pulsing from the fervency of their kisses. He maneuvered her easily, shuffling their bodies from the car.
“What did you tell my dad we were doing?” She questioned, receiving a smirk in return as he set her down on the uneven ground.
“I told him we were going for a walk, which we're doing now, and then, time permitting, I wanna teach you something. Or show you something. I don't know yet. Maybe stop somewhere for food. Or we can go back to my place and eat leftover pizza,” he said, wagging his eyebrows. “I know how much you love cold pepperoni pizza.”
Theo blushed slightly. “I do love cold pizza.”
Philip laughed. “I know you do. So between stop a- which is now- and stop b, we’ll make a pit stop at my house and get some pizza.”
They didn't have to walk far before they walked into a clearing. A glistening pond sat in the middle, the sun’s rays shining off the clear water. Green grasses and reeds surrounded the pond, and Philip pulled Theo right to the edge water’s edge.
“A pond?”
“Not just any pond,” he said. “Our pond.”  Philip stood behind Theo and wrapped his arms around her. Finding out they were soulmates made everything perfect. They fell into step with each other, as if they had never grown apart. “Remember when I released my goldfish here because I didn't want to take care of them anymore?” Theo bobbed her head softly before leaning back on his shoulder. “Apparently they found some sort of food source. Look at them.”
Theo's gaze followed his finger. Swirls of orange, white, and black dance just beneath the surface of the water. Little mouths bobbed up from the water to catch an insect or two in them. They had definitely grow from those little fish that swam in a tank. A big mouth emerged from the water, swallowing larger bugs. “That wasn't a goldfish,” she said surprised.
Philip chuckled. “No, I had a neighbor give me a couple of koi fish. I think they had some babies  in there somewhere.”
“How do they survive the winter, Pip?”
“I dunno,” he shrugged. “Fishy magic.”
“Yeah,” Theo breathed. “Magic.” She turned around and pressed her lips to Philip's cheek. “It's so peaceful here. I love it. I love you.”
“I love you too,” he whispered, leaning into her lips.
Theo pushed him back against one of the trees surrounding them, her hands reaching for his shirt. “Stop me if you don't want this,” she said, yanking the shirt from where it laid against his jeans. Her hands roamed his body, her fingers tracing up and down the lines of his body. Her fingers fell to his waistband, her fingers confidently unbuttoning his jeans and tugging at the zipper. She smiled as she felt his erection straining at his boxers. “Do you want this?”
“Theo, I've dreamed of this,” he panted. “But are you sure you want this now? Here?”
“I just want you,” she said. “It doesn't matter when or where, just as long as it's you.”
“Let’s go back to my house,” Philip said, his voice cracking. “Or to the car, whichever.”
“Aren't your parents home?”
He shook his head, his curls bouncing around his head. “They brought the kids out for dinner. They won't be back for a while.”
Theo smiled softly as she buttoned up Philip’s jeans and fixed his shirt. No sooner had her hands left his shirt than she took off running for the car. Philip took off after her, catching up just before she made it to the car, pinning her to the hood. It was still warm from the short drive, warming up their bodies as the sun set.
“You're a tease,” he said, trailing kisses down her neck. Her spine bowed towards him as his kisses trailed to the cleavage spilling from her dress. “I think we should wait to have sex,” he murmured, still trailing kisses down her naked skin. “I love you, so much. I do, but I still think we should wait.”
“Okay,” she said. “I understand. I'll wait for you.” Her chest was heaving and Philip laid down gently, resting his head against the dip of her sternum.
“Oh thank god,” he whispered, barely audible. “I love you with all my heart. But I really want to wait.”
Theo’s fingers danced across Philip's back. “It's okay. I'm glad you told me.” She paused. “We can still go back to your house and make out though, right?”
Philip rolled off the hood, the heat starting to be too much, and laughed. “Of course,” he said, reaching out a hand to pull her up with him. “Let's go get some cold pizza.”
The ride to the Hamilton mansion was short and silent, but not uncomfortable. Nothing more than an ‘I love you’ was uttered between the two, but they didn't need any more. They were in love with each other (they always had been). Philip pulled into the driveway and turned the car off.
“We can just finish the date here if you want. I have all the supplies I need for part two.”
“I thought part two was the pizza.”
“No,” he said, walking to the trunk of his car. “Pizza is part one and a half.” He reached inside and grabbed his book bag, heaving it over his shoulder before entwining their fingers, walking her to the house. He set his bag down in the main hallway before leading her to the kitchen and pulling the pizza box off the counter.
Theo jumped up on the counter, the back of her head pressing against the cupboards and pressed her hand down on the pizza box as Philip moved to open it. “Kiss me.”
Philip smiled and moved in closer to Theo. His hazel eyes shone bright and his wild curls danced around his face. “I love you,” he whispered, his lips molding perfectly against hers. His hands pressed on top of hers before pulling them to his chest. Their teeth scraped together and Theo pulled back and laughed.
“God, it’s just like my tenth birthday!” She teased. “So what's the next part of our date?” She took her arms and wrapped them around Philip's neck, her hands clasping in the back.
“Do you want part two now? Or do you want cold pizza?”
Theo laughed again. “Jeez, Pip, do you have to point out that it's cold pizza every time you say pizza?”
He pressed a kiss to her lips. “I do. I really do.” Theo watched as his cheeks stretched into a beautiful smile. “So, piano or cold pizza?”
Theo’s body perked up. “Piano?”
Philip nodded. “Piano.”
“I'm intrigued,” she said, sliding off the counter. “Piano.”
Philip grabbed her hands and pulled her through the front hallway, stopping to swipe his book bag from the floor. The music room was beautiful, the walls a calming light blue, music notes dotting the walls. A gorgeous Steinway stood glistening in the middle of the room. Philip reached into his book bag, releasing Theo’s hand.
Theo walked around the room mesmerized. “How come you've never showed me this room before?”
“I spent so much time in here as a kid, it wasn't the place I wanted to spend play time with my best friend.” Philip moved to the piano, a small folder in his hands. Theo danced around the room as Philip set himself up at the piano, laying his music out on the piano’s music stand. He took his place on the piano bench, sitting down and pulling the seat closer to the keys. He pulled the foot pedals a few times as Theo walked around the room before pulling a pen from the depths of his folder.
I love you with all my heart, Theodosia Bartow Burr
(Yes, I still remember your middle name)
The piano’s gentle tones filled the room and Theo stopped her movements around the room, pausing as the first chord struck. “Philip?”
Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take.
Tears filled Theo’s eyes as she listened to the song. It had always been her dream to have her soulmate sing it to her. Philip had not only learned to sing it for her, but play the piano for her as well.
Every little thing that you do,
Baby I'm amazed by you.
His fingers danced across the keys and the final chord of the song resounded through the room. The final few notes were still sounding in Theo’s ears when Philip grabbed the pen.
I'm amazed by you, Theodosia.
Theo lunged into Philip's lap, her weight pushing him to the ground, legs tangling up in the piano bench. “You remembered!” She sobbed into his arms, pressing sloppy wet kisses all over his face as she straddled his stomach. “I told you that when I was six and you remembered.”
“I remember everything about you Thee. Even your middle name.” He snickered. “Bartow.”
Theo laughed, wiping at the tears on her face. “Shut up! You know I hate it-”
“-because it's not a real middle name,” they finished together.
“I know. But it was your mother’s maiden name. I know that too. I'm telling you, Thee, I know everything about you. And I love everything about you.”
“Oh god, Pip. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Theo,” he said, laughing as Theo covered his face in kisses. “So how about that cold pizza now?”
Theo laughed and shoved his head back down on the floor. “Let's go get some cold pizza,” she said, bolting to the kitchen, her flats sliding across the hardwood floors.
Philip laughed as he pulled himself up from the floor, following Theo to the kitchen. “God, I love that girl.”

warmth | yandere!philip hamilton
Pairings: Yandere!Philip Hamilton x g/n!reader
Warnings: yandere themes, kidnapping, toxic and unhealthy relationships, manipulation, mentions of murder and dying (please don't read if you're uncomfortable with any of these), swearing, being really cold
Time: not specified
A/N: i wrote this the other night at 2 am, and i'm definitely not happy with it but i need to get it out of my drafts 😭
You sat on the cold, stone floor, violently shivering, the only sounds coming from your heavy breathing, the pounding in your head and the cold air blowing in through the open window. You felt your energy draining as you could barely keep your head up long enough to glare at your captor. He sat on the bench in the middle of the room, staring smugly down at you, a warm towel held tightly in his arms. It was almost like he was enjoying this. The fact that you were almost certain that he was made you sick to your stomach. Why wouldn’t he be? Any situation where you were weak and begging for his help made him feel powerful, and reminded both you and himself that your life was in his hands. And that was extremely enjoyable to him.
”Y/N, you’re being ridiculous,” he said, “all you have to do is apologise, and you can be warm again.”
If your hands weren’t chained to the wall, you would’ve slapped him before he could even finish his sentence. He’s the one who dumped the bucket of ice cold water on you because of some bullshit reason you couldn’t even remember, and he was calling you ridiculous?
But with every second your body was screaming at you to apologise. You could feel your lips becoming numb every second your teeth chattered to the point where it was almost painful.
You said nothing, just glared at him as he had the nerve to look at you so innocently, so hurt by your hostility.
With a sigh, he stood up from the bench, leaving the towel on the bench, just out of your reach as he headed for the door, “Fine. Stay here. I hope you learn your lesson before you freeze to death.”
Your heart pounded with fear. On one hand, you were sure he was just bluffing. He wouldn’t have kidnapped and killed for you just to leave you to die. On the other hand, you were sure that you would freeze if you stayed there any longer.
”Wait!” you grimaced at the desperation in your voice. You felt so vulnerable, so pathetic. You hated it, while he was loving every second of it, “P-please, just- don’t leave.” you couldn’t believe what you were saying.
Philip turned around, crossing his arms over his chest as he leant against the stone wall, “Is there something you wanna say?”
You hated him. Everything he did made your blood boil with anger. The way he spoke to you like you were a small toddler, acting like you were completely defenceless and useless without him. But you shoved all that hate down. You didn’t want to die in his house.
”I,” you took a shaky breath, not even the tears running down your cheeks providing any warmth, “I’m sorry.”
He titled his head to the side, “For?”
Your lips clamped shut. Why did he have to be such a prick all the time? So much had been happening lately you couldn’t even remember what he made you have for dinner last night. Well, come to think of it, you didn’t remember having dinner at all last night… how long had you been down there for?
With a huff, he began walking toward you, “Or do you need some reminding?” he knelt in front of you, his hand roughly gripping your chin, forcing you to look at him, “Does the name Theodosia ring a bell?” Just the sound of her name brought more tears to your eyes (tears you hoped Philip would take pity on). You hadn’t seen her in months. But, you did feel like you had had some sort of interaction with her recently…
Scoffing, Philip‘s grip on your chin tightened, “Or will some more ice water help you remember?”
Your eyes widened at his threat, and you felt your breath become heavier, your chest falling up and down, “No! No,” you cried, your vision becoming blurry with tears, “I-I remember, I remember.”
He chuckled darkly, “I sure hope you do. Otherwise I would’ve killed her for no good reason.” As if he’s never done that. He narrowed his eyes at you, “Now apologise.”
You gulped, regaining some memory of what had happened with Theo, “I-I’m sorry for trying to leave…” you whispered, almost afraid of speaking too loud, which didn’t impress your captor.
”What was that?” he asked mockingly.
With a shaky breath, you repeated yourself, “I’m sorry for trying to leave you.”
Philip’s expression softened immediately, a smile gracing his lips as he loosened his grip on your chin, “See?” He brought both his hands up to your cheeks, cupping your face as he used his thumb to wipe away your tears, “Now was that so hard?”
You said nothing, sniffling as you stared down at the floor, not wanting to look at him any longer. You felt his lips press against your forehead, followed by the chains around your hands loosening, until they were finally free. Philip’s warm hands wrapped around your wrists, helping you stand up from the cold floor, as he guessed your legs would’ve been numb. He guided you toward the bench, pulling your body toward his as you felt the warm towel wrapping around your body.
You practically melted in his arms, feeling tears of relief fall down your cheeks. You held back a sigh of content, not wanting to give Philip the satisfaction of knowing that something he did made you feel better.
You felt his hand wrap around the back of your neck as he pulled you closer, leaning his forehead against yours, “See how much easier this is, Y/N? You just have to do what you’re told and it can be like this all the time. Understand?” You stopped yourself from arguing with him, knowing it would just be more trouble, which was the last thing you wanted right then.
With a shaky breath, you brought yourself to reply. "I understand."

Philip: I have something to tell you. But I don't want you to get how you get. Alexander: Oh, God... Philip: I'm getting married. Alexander: Oh... [face-palms] Philip: I didn't want to tell you over the phone... Alexander: Mmm. Philip: It's a Burr, I met her at school, she's wonderful... [Alex drains his entire glass of wine in one sip] Philip: Uh... are you upset? Alexander: [nods] But let me tell you why. First off, you're only twenty. Philip: Look, Pop, I know I'm young. But you've always said I was a very levelheaded guy, and I am. I have job offers, I know exactly what I want my future to be, and I have this incredible role model... Alexander: Oh, please. Philip: No, it's true. You know, I'm the only guy in my fraternity who doesn't come from a broken home. Alexander: Stop flattering me, it's cheap.

Phildosia
Okay okay okay. Phildosia. The premise is usually, Philip Hamilton and Theodosia Burr meet, have a forbidden love thing dadada. As much as I enjoy the idea of this, I have two problems with it (musical wise, not really historically).
1. Burr and Hamilton weren’t really enemies enough for this sort of thing to be a ‘forbidden love’ story line. Yes, there was a huge strain on their relationship once the whole Schuyler Defeated stuff happened (there was even a bit of strain since Right Hand Man), but it wasn’t enough for this premise to hold steady. The point where the two became enemies enough for this to work was the whole Election of 1800 and Your Obedient Servant stuff- which happened after Philip’s death.
2. Okay, well how about Philip survives, for one reason or another. Alright great, now you have what you’ve been looking for. The children of rivals fall in love with each other. But another issue arises if this happens. Before I say this, take into account that Philip challenged a kid his own age to a duel because the kid talked trash about his father. Think about what Philip would do if this kid was around thirty years older than him, and instead of talking trash about his father, this kid killed his father. Not to mention, ‘this kid’ has a daughter who Philip is presumably in love with. (in other words, what does Philip do when Burr kills Hamilton, and what does it do to his relationship with Theodosia in this theoretical situation?)
