Fruity Four: Flexibility

just did a yoga practice and it had me thinking of the fruity four and flexibility

Steve

will break in half if he tries to touch his toes, just absolutely incapable of the slightest flexibility and if he sees you so much as cross your legs he will be amazed because;

Nancy

could teach a yoga class, i feel like after the upside down experiences yoga and meditation helped her with the trauma. it makes her feel in control, if you ask her about it;

"i'm happy to show you just how flexible i can be"

Robin

is naturally flexible but cannot for the life of her do yoga due to balance issues. nancy tried to teach her once and it ended up with robin nearly concussing the both of them, she did warn nancy about her difficulties learning to walk

Eddie

i'm really torn with him, on one hand i see him as being naturally flexible and on the other hand i see him being like dry pasta. i'm leaning more towards him having hypermobility in his fingers and arms, one of those kids in school who thought it was funny to gross his classmates out by pulling his thumb to his forearm

A/N: First of all I want to explain the chronology of this series. The next part (maybe two depending on if I feel I should split them up) will take place before this part, and everyone after that will take place after this part. Also! I have no idea what American College is like, I’m a Canadian, so all of this is based off of stereotypes from movies and tv.

The pulsing beat of the music consumed your entire body. Every snare and drum halted your thoughts from forming. It kept you in an endless cycle of trying to remember your last thoughts and feeling the vibrations of shitty EDM travel from the soles of your feet right to the top of your skull before settling at a deep throb in your heart. As these overwhelming sensations fill your body, you wondered why you agreed to come here in the first place.

The “punch” in your stereotypical red solo cup may as well have been pure vodka with blue food colouring. When you showed up it was presented to you and Adam at the door, the grimace he made when he drank it would be ingrained in your mind forever. An older man moved by you in the sea of people, his hand touched way too low on your back—fuck it, you were going to find Adam and tell him you were leaving.

He and that girl seemed to be heading upstairs so you started there. It wasn’t so busy but those who were there were either making out or just literally having sex. After walking in on the third couple—in one instance foursome—you were ready to bleach your eyes out, but there was only one door left. If Adam wasn't here you were just going to leave.

You twisted the door open and smiled in relief when you saw big ears sticking out from behind dark brown hair. The smile dropped when you realized your count had gone up to four. “Oh shit! Sorry.” and slammed the door shut.

Tears burned your eyes and threatened to drip down your face. You bobbed in between sweaty bodies and nearly tripped down the stairs, all that was on your mind was leaving. It's not like you and he were a thing, he didn't owe you anything, but that didn't stop the first sob from leaving your mouth. When you made it to the door the fresh air was like you had never breathed in clean air before.

Your sobs and the quieter party music were the only sounds out on the street you sunk down to sit on the curb. “Y/N!” fuck.
