Best friend Jisung would be the funniest ever. And he would probably be so unpredictable??? like yeah, he would probably appear at your house at 3 in the morning completely out of the blue and wake you (and your neighbors) up by pressing the doorbell for way too long BUT ALSO he is probably wearing his pajamas and has like, ice cream or even some actual food??? LIKE you would probably open the door, hair messy, half asleep, all annoyed ready to fight him,,, but he would be all smiley and go, like, "so I couldn't sleep and was hungry so I went out and this dude was cooking tteokbokki and I had nothing better to do so he taught me and I brought you the one I made" and you would be like wHat tThEe fUcKItTy??? because I mean it IS 3 in the morning why the fuck would he even go out but you'll let him in anyway in the end and you would end up like,,, eating whatever he brought,,, while sitting on the floor in your bedroom,,, backs against the bed frame,,,, no one speaking because it's TOO LATE,,, and he would spend the night there and eventually you'd forget AND THEN Like a month or so later you and him would be walking home like after a movie or something and he would approach a dude like HEY YOU TAUGHT ME HOW TO DO TTEOKBOKKI and you would be like the fuck were you for real??? and that same night you would learn how to cook it too like what the actual fuck Jisung has no sense of danger he approaches anyone god forbid him from getting STABBED the end

part 1

"¿You guys expecting someone? Felix please tell me you didn't hire mariachis for her again. I can't handle this right now." You questioned your roommate's boyfriend as he made his way to the door laughing at the exasperated sigh you had let out.
You had expected them to go out on a date or something, but seeing how you were going to spend the special day alone they decided watching a movie in was just as good. For the young couple you were never a third wheel and they honestly enjoyed your company, it was just.... It was valentines day. You couldnt help but feel like you were holding them back and they would much rather be doing something else.
Also, in all honestly, it was not like you really minded spending the holiday alone. Your side projects and extra credits had been keeping you busy the last couple weeks and you just didn't have time to celebrate anything, anyway. Leaving for Christmas and New Years hadn't been exactly a smart move from your part and now you were dealing with the mess that you'd left behind, but of course you didn't have the heart to tell your friends you would pretty much appreciate the alone time.
Bringing back your attention to the book you were reading, you continued scribbling down the information that seemed to be somewhat relevant for your already burnt and frustrated brain.
You would like to say the one and only reason why you felt that tired was because you hadn't slept more than five hours in the last couple days, but as much as you repeatedly told yourself you didn't mind a lonely Valentine's day, deep down you knew you did have a special person you would like to spend it with. And that's exactly why Felix's next statement took you by surprise.
"Hey Y/N, it's for you." The mischievous smile displayed on his face made a shiver run down your spine. ¿Who could be there to see you? The only person that crossed your mind was Minho, but then again Felix knew your brother and wouldn't be looking at you like that.
"¿Who is it?" You asked while getting up from your spot and eyeing the way to the door cautiously.
Felix didn't answer, only hurrying you with his hand to go open the door by yourself. You sighed before making your way to it.
As you stood before the closed wooden panel you took a second to fix your hair and clothes a little. Not that you were a mess, but in all fairness you weren't planning on seeing anyone today. You heard someone move on the other side and then clear their throat, albeit before they could speak you swong the door open, startling the man standing on the other side.
Chan and you looked at each other in some kind of shock for what felt like years. You could see his adam's apple move up and down on his nervousness and just like the first time you caught each other in this situation, the first words that slipped past his lips made you giggle softly.
"You look... pretty..." The boy nodded slightly as if reaffirming his point, making you shake your head in disbelief.
"¿What are you doing here?" You didn't mean to come off as rude. In fact, your heart was beating so fast you would be surprised if your roommate couldn't hear it all the way back at the living room, it was just him and you hadn't seen each other since the Christmas party. You had thought maybe he would call you the next day, or during the time you were back at home. You expected to at least see him once again before coming back to college, but Chan went M.I.A as soon as he dropped you home that night. After a few days of wondering what could have possibly went wrong, you came to the conclusion that going to the party with you had only been a favour. A favour to your brother, not you.
"I... Well... It's Valentine's day" The smile on his face almost makes your heart melt, almost. And no, you weren't mad at him, you were just confused.
"Yeah, I'm aware." You rested your weight on the door, not breaking eye contact with Chan. You weren't sure what you were waiting for, ¿An explanation? ¿An apology? He didn't really own you any. "You haven't answered my question though, ¿What are you doing here, Chan?"
The sigh that left his lips and the way his hand went to rub his own neck made you stand straight again. He seemed sad and you didn't mean to make him sad. His eyes scanned your face slowly before his body took a step closer to you. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't call the next day. Or any day for that matter. I had a lot of fun with you at the party, I swear I did, I just... ¿Wasn't sure how far you wanted us to go? I talked to Minho, he said I was a dick, I know I was a dick. He almost kicks my ass... I should have talked to you anyway. And I'm sorry it took me so long, but I'm here now and I would like to take you out. Officially. As in... A date... Only if you want to, of course."
Before you could even answer him your roommate threw your jacket over your shoulders and gestured to go. You sighed and nodded, looking at Chan again. "Sure, let's do it".
Chan smiled widely and moved away so you could walk out. You both exchanged looks again and couldn't help but giggle softly before walking down the hall, your hand slowly getting caught by Chan's.
If you were sure of something now it was that you weren't going to let the boy go anytime soon. And also that you would have to thank Minho once again.

HHHHH SORRY I WAS IN MY FEELS LAST NIGHT TOO BUT I'M GLAD IT CAUSED YOU SOMETHING NGL ♡♡♡
"I love you." Chan locked eyes with you and sighed. "I love you so much..." He repeated and you could only smile a little.
"I know you do, it's ok Chan." You nodded encouragingly and sighed too, giving his hand a little squeeze.
It was sad, no doubt of that. You and Chan started dating back in the day, ¿Almost four years if you weren't mistaken? Your relationship had always been low-key, it had taken your friends months to figure out you and him were going out. It was just, ¡You guys were friends first! Dating only seemed to have unlocked a few new possible interactions for your relationship, but your chemistry was still pretty much the same as always.
Chan and you loved each other a lot, even if people thought differently. For the longest time, your friends insisted that the Australian and you should date, at the end of the day 'you guys already acted like a couple'. But once you started dating, everyone said you still acted like friends. Hugging and joking together, teasing each other, spending nights together, going out to the movies or to get food, late-night calls, shared holidays, all those were things already on the package with you two.
And it was ok. You were ok.
But over time it wasn't anymore.
Because there just was nothing else to do.
Nothing was new and as time went by, as seasons changed, as a new year fell upon you... It became monotone and love just wasn't enough.
"It just wasn't working anymore, I get it." You talked again after a few minutes.
The hot steam of your coffee was making its way to your face, tempting you to take a sip so you could tone down the cold air that was hitting your neck from an open window in the bar. Even the universe seemed to be sad today, seemed to know what was happening between the two of you. The grey clouds covering the sky and the chili wind blowing softly and making its way through the trees outside gave away just how much the world wished for you to take back your decision.
"I am so sorry, I tr-" You cut him by raising your hand signaling him to stop. The boy's mouth created a straight line while eyeing you carefully. The last thing he ever wanted to do was hurting you, but let's be honest, he knew exactly the way you felt.
He knew because he felt the same.
You could tell by the way his dimple wasn't showing the slightest and how his shoulders couldn't seem to relax for more than a second. You could tell by how his eyebrows were furrowed when he walked into the cafe to meet you and how his eyes lacked their usual spark. You could tell because you knew him just as well as he knew you.
And if you thought about it, it wasn't exactly hurt what you were feeling. Maybe it was more disappointment. Disappointment because there was so much you wished to do together. So much you wanted to share with each other. So much you wanted to live.
"Don't. Do not apologize, not to me. It's ok. It will be ok. We will be ok." You smiled.
And you would. Maybe this was for the best. After four years together, maybe you guys needed a change. Maybe you needed to break up to realize if you actually belonged together.
Maybe you would get back in no time, or maybe you would find someone else.
Whatever the world had in store for you would be ok, because even if you ended up going separate ways, you would always love him, and he would always love you.
Because love isn't perfect, isn't always ideal, sometimes loving someone means you have to let them go.

My one and only Seungmin imagine deserved BETTER
"I guess only idiots dream of what they can not have." Seungmin said, eyes glued to the engagement ring you had just placed back in his hand after months of wearing it around.
The silence was unbearable, you expected him to be mad, to scream at you. After all, you had just broken your engagement. But it was not like he didn't see it coming. It was not like he didn't expect it. The thing was he just knew you too much. And he knew you enough to know he could never change your mind. He knew you enough to know your heart didn't belong with him anymore. He knew you enough to know it was time to set you free.
Seungmin just knew you too much.
Seungmin just loved you too much.
He got up from the bench you both were sitting at and finally looked at you so you could stare at him in the eyes. While shoving the ring inside his back pocket, he spoke again, tone soft as always. "Are you staying here all night? C'mon, I'll take you home and I'll go stay at Felix's or something."
And then he smiled at you.

Happy. Cheerful. Angelic. Helpful. Selfless. Caring. Positive. Those are the words everyone had always used to refer to you. Those are the words you'd gotten used to hear. Those are the words you tried to live up to every day.
¿A friend is having a hard time? ¡They should call you! ¿Someone's going through a breakup? ¡You give the best advice! ¿Need anyone to talk to? ¡You are the person for the job!
It was almost as if you were living for everyone else.
And today was not different.
As soon as Hyunjin saw you walk into the cafeteria he was already all over you.
"¿Did you read my messages last night?" Yes. "¿Was that enough information?" Even too much, for your liking. "¿What should I do? ¡Y/N what should I do!" Hyunjin cried as he tugged in your sleeve.
I don't know.
That's what you wanted to say.
I. Don't. Know.
"Maybe... You should try and talk to her. Understand her side too. You're focusing too much in what you want, I don't think you're listening to her." You simply answered as you took a sit next to your other friends.
Changbin eyed you curiously. Even though you had answered Hyunjin, it had just sounded.... empty. Cold even. He decided he would ask you later if everything was ok. He had noticed you being out of yourself for a few days now.
But he never did.
You see, the problem was that there was always something more important than you.
Swim team practice, band rehearsal, football trials, even dance presentations.
Of course you knew they didn't do it on purpose, they didn't forget about you on purpose, but it was getting too much and everyday you felt a little closer to losing it. To breaking.
Because no matter how much you looked like an angel, or acted selfless, or seemed to be happy, you were just a regular, average, ordinary person too.
And you really, REALLY, didn't want to snap, especially through the phone, but you were at home, it had been a long day, you just wanted to relax a little, forget about everyone's problems including your own, and Chan complaining over how this other dude in the swim team had broken his record just seemed too little of a problem compared to other things going through your head. And you just couldn't handle it anymore.
While Chan was in the middle of his petty ranting, you ended the call. And boy, you would love to say it felt great, but in reality you just felt like a shitty friend.
¿How could you do that to him? ¿To them?
You don't know when did the tears start falling down your cheeks, but a sudden wave of relief washed over you as you let yourself cry your eyes out that afternoon.
You guess you fell asleep in the middle of your breakdown, because next thing you knew you were being waken up by the sound of your alarm signaling it was time for classes again. It had been like that for a while now. Whenever you were feeling down or suffocated you would end up crying and eventually falling asleep. In the last month you had found yourself waking up in your bathroom or kitchen floor at least five times.
Taking a deep breath you checked your phone before getting out of your couch. There were not only missed calls from Chan but also millions of messages from all your friends. And you honestly didn't have the energy to answer them right now.
In fact, you didn't have the energy to get out of the house.
With a deep sigh you made your way to your room and plopped back in bed. Skipping classes sounded like a great plan today.
It was just a few hours later that you were woken up again, this time by your bell ringing non-stop.
Clumsily you made your way to your front door, not expexting to find Changbin, Chan and Minho standing there once you opened it.
You noticed the frowning in their faces go soft at the sight of you. You were still wearing yesterday clothes, that much you knew. But your guess was that your most likely blood shot eyes gave away your actual state. Without a single word you moved away, letting them in, and then the four of you made your way to the living room.
"¿What's wrong?" Changbin was the first to speak, his eyes fixed on yours from across the room where he was sitting with Chan. You only shrugged, not sure what answer was he expecting to get.
"Don't do that, don't just shrug us away, Y/N." This time Minho spoke from beside you. He was sat close enough to comfort you but far enough to not give you any unwanted attention.
"I don't know what you want me to say. ¿I stay home one day and suddenly something's wrong with me? I'm fine." Your words come out colder and sharper than you intended, but the truth was you didn't feel like telling them. You didn't feel like they cared enough, and even if they did, you didn't think they should.
"Bullshit, ¡You hung up on me yesterday!" Chan's voice was loud, but not mad. Was loud, but full of concern. "Y/N just tell us what's wrong so we can help you. Pushing us away and shutting in yourself is so not like you-" He found himself being cut out by the scoff you let out.
That was it, you didn't know why or how, but the words just started to flow.
"¿'So not like me'? ¿YOU are going to tell me what I am like? ¡What do you even know about me! ¡All of you! You guys never notice when something's wrong, ¡You never even take the time to ask if I'm ok! Tell me, ¿How did you notice I wasn't there today? ¿What did you need from me that I wasn't there to provide? I am so tired of this. And I love you guys, don't get me wrong. I love helping you and you mean the entire world to me, ¡But I have problems too! Sometimes it just feels like you only want me to help you solve your shit and then I'm not important anymore and... And it just sucks because I care too much and I don't feel like I matter to anyone enough..."
The room was quiet. Fresh tears were redrawing the old path left on your cheeks. You weren't strong enough to look at them, but you could feel the three pairs of eyes burning you. Trying to calm down your cries you sniffled and took a deep breath ready to speak again.
"I'm sorry" Minho said before anyone else as he rushed to hug you. "I am so sorry... We... We never..." You could hear how his voice broke and could feel how his hands trembled a little on your back. Last thing you wanted was for them to cry too.
It would be a lie saying that the conversation died there. Truth is the three boys sat still and listened to you go through all your problems just as you always did with them. You did cry a few more times, you did complain, a lot, about them. But, at the end of the day, the four of you knew that you would be ok. All of you. They not only comforted you, but understood you, and that was all you wanted all along, right?
---
hhhhhhhh i based it off of personal experiences so i hope this is what you wanted anon :] please request again anytime! I know the ending is kinda shitty but honestly I would have loved for my friendships to turn out like that. This may have a lot of mistakes but it's 6am and I'm just out of a huge writers block, I'm SORRY.
Please remember that for a friendship to work there must be interest and effort from both ends. From all ends! If you're the only one who cares, if you're the only one who's always there, if people only take from you and you feel drained, maybe you should look into it and decide if it's a positive relationship or not.
Don't let yourself be manipulated into thinking you should accept what they want to give you. KNOW your worth and fight for it, always! ♡

part 2

"¡I still don't understand why I need a date!" You sigh for the third time through the phone gaining a small laugh from your brother. "C'mon Minho, you know I don't have anyone to bring. ¿Can't you be my date for the night?" You cry softly.
"I, in fact, can not be your date. I already have one. But I can get you, someone, if you'd like. ¡YAH! ¡Put that down you little shit!" You hear him scream to the kid he's supposed to babysit for the afternoon and can't help but laugh at him. Before you can say anything, Minho's already speaking again. "Geez Y/N, I gotta go, but I promise I'll get someone to go with you tonight. Send me a pic of your dress though, ¡Bye!" Minho quickly spoke and then hung up on you.
Now you were not only lacking a dress but also a date for tonight's party.
Your parents had this sort of obsession with Christmas, and their annual Christmas party was the biggest one in town. When they first started them you were merely eight and, to be honest, ¡You had a lot of fun at the gatherings! Not many people attended, it was just family and close friends, but as the years went by, they started getting bigger and bigger, to the point they had to start renting places to host them comfortably. Just as the parties became bigger, you became older, and with that, your love for the holiday seemed to decrease. You started spending Christmas alone at home or at some friend's house, not really interested in spending the night with a bunch of strangers.
But now things were different. While back in the day you still got to spend the majority of the holidays with your family anyway, now you were away because of college. Last time you saw your parents must have been months ago, and you had started to feel homesick as holidays seemed to approach. You just didn't want to spend your first Christmas alone. You talked to your mom last minute and announced you would be back home for the party, to which she replied reminding you two things, you had to wear a nice dress and you needed a date.
Finding a dress was a piece of cake, you just had to try one and then pay for it. ¿Finding a date? That was harder.
You just hoped Minho was able to find someone for you soon.
-
[18:23] From Bro 🐱: "your mom wants to know what time are you arriving"
[18:23] From Bro 🐱: "also i got you a date ayeee"
[18:24] From Bro 🐱: "thank me later :]"
[18:36] From You: "My mom is also your mom Minho 🙄. Tell her I'll be there in time for the party. I'll stop by the house to get dressed and then drive to the hotel. Also, who's my date and why did you send that face."
[18:39] From Bro 🐱: "you'll know it once you arrive, i'll send him pick u up at the house, you ain't driving with your ugly shoes"
[18:41] From You: "👁👄👁"
-
Luckily for you, the train ride was in time even though it was Christmas Eve. Once you made it home you couldn't help but smile widely. The air smelled like your mom's favorite candle and there was a hint of your dad's perfume near the front door. You would have loved to stay there, but you had a party to attend. Sprinting your way up to your room, you wasted no more time to get ready.
You weren't big on parties not dressing fancy, but you had found a beautiful dress that left you breathless as soon as you saw it. The heart-shaped neckline wasn't neither too high nor too revealing. The rhinestones adorning the waist were perfect, they weren't too flashy but they were enough to give the dress a sophisticated look. The way it hugged your figure, the way the skirt fell perfectly from your hips, the way the wine color of the fabric fitted your skin, you loved everything about the dress. Once your make up was also done, you heard the bell rang. For a second you were confused, ¿Who would stop by on Christmas knowing your parents were at the party? Then it hit you, that must be your date.
Just as you had sprinted upstairs earlier you made your way down, you didn't want to have the mysterious date waiting, or maybe you just wanted to know who it was. Either way, you weren't ready to see the person standing in front of you.
-
When Minho asked the dark-haired boy to be his sister's date for tonight's party he didn't have to think it much before saying yes. It had been a while since he had last seen the little Lee and he would love to catch up with her. What he hadn't thought though, was that little Lee wasn't that little anymore, and the last thing he expected to see when the door opened was a woman standing in front of him.
Chan's mouth opened and closed numerous times before he left out a surprised gasp. He had never considered you ugly, you just were out of limits because of Minho being his best friend and your brother, but there was no point in denying how beautiful you were.
Looking at you from head to toe felt like being punched right in the throat. "You look... breathtaking..." Was the first thing that slipped past his lips at the sight of you and you couldn't help but laugh softly, your cheeks turning a shade of pink. The boy's mind wasn't working properly, a million thoughts running fast speed through his brain in an attempt to find something adequate to say. "I- I am so sorry, I- Hi." Chan said again, shaking his head slightly, trying to ground himself. ¿Why was his heart beating so fast? ¿Was it suddenly hot outside? Chan just couldn't help but stare at you, the way you seemed to glow. Maybe it was the fact that he hadn't seen you in so long or the fact that this was his first time seeing you so dressed up, but something he was sure of was that he wouldn't be able to take his eyes off you any time soon.
"Hey Chris... ¿Are you ok?" Your brows furrowed as he took a deep breath.
"I could use a glass of water." He answered, and then a smirk made it's way to his face.
And maybe, after all, you were glad Minho already had a date for the night.
---
Here's a little moodboard I made to inspire this I guess???????? Anon I hope you like it uwu merry chrisis everyone! I mean---- Christmas oof 💀

You woke up thanks to the obnoxious sound of your alarm. You didn't particularly hate waking up early, it was just the motive why you had to that put you in a bad mood.
Getting out of bed you feel the cold air hit every inch of your exposed body, but you couldn't care less. You just wanted to get the day over with. There was just one task in the list for today that you were dying to do, all the others were just to make your family happy.
Once out of the shower and dressed in your most comfortable clothes, you made your way out of the house without even caring for breakfast. The walk to your parents wasn't exactly pleasing, the weather was cold and the sidewalk was nearly frozen, making you have to walk slower than you would have liked to so you would not fall in your ass.
Once you walked into the house, you were greeted by your younger sibling, who hugged you tightly before leaving for their room. Your mom also hugged you tight and kissed your forehead. She knew you didn't want to be there, she knew how hard it was even after all these years, but she was thankful for your efforts.
The day was actually kinda fun. Everyone made sure you had a good time, and even if it was just for a little, you forgot about it all. You were happy right then and there, and that was all that mattered. You and your mom baked cookies, you had a small movie marathon with your sibling, and after lunch, you helped your dad put up some lights outside the house.
Thus far, this was one of the best Christmas you've had, but still, deep down, your heart knew what you really wanted to do. Where you really wanted to be.
It wasn't long until you said your goodbyes. "Take care, tell him we love him" Was the last thing your mom said before kissing your cheek goodbye.
You made your way towards the building, feeling a little out of place after so many months since you last went. You had decided to stop visiting, being there had started to take a toll on your health, but you couldn't help but miss him.
You missed his laugh. His voice. His hugs. His kisses. You missed him so much, and even though you knew you wouldn't get none of those back, you still wanted to see him. You wanted to be there for him because you didn't want him to spend even one Christmas alone.
It was the 3rd anniversary of the accident. It had been today, 24th of December, at about eight or nine, when you had gotten the call.
"Is this Y/L/N, Y/N?" They asked. "We're calling to inform you Mr. Han has had an accident. We need you to come by as soon as possible." They said.
It was at that exact moment that your world stopped spinning. ¿How? He was just a few streets down. He had just told you it would take him about 15 minutes to get there. ¿How? This wasn't how Christmas was supposed to go down.
As you stepped into the ICU and then into Jisungs room, you were greeted by green and red ornaments hanging on the wall. The hospital wasn't exactly the funniest place to spend your holidays at, but you had learned to appreciate the effort nurses put in to make it welcoming.
You sat next to Jisungs bed, where he lied day and night for the past 3 years, and hesitantly took his hand in yours.
"Hey..." You spoke softly, afraid that you would scare him, maybe, even though you knew he would never wake up. "Sorry I've been away these past months, things have been... Hectic... back home." You explained to him, even though you knew he couldn't hear you. "I hope they're treating you well. I've heard the new nurses are the sweetest, maybe I'll be lucky to meet some tonight." You caressed his hand with your thumb ever so slightly, even though you knew he couldn't feel you.
The thing was, Jisung had been gone for good for a long while now, but you just couldn't let him go. Not yet. Even if his brain didn't work. Even if his lungs didn't support him. Even if he wasn't himself but just the mere vessel of the man you used to love.
You needed to hold on to him somehow, and you weren't ready to say goodbye just yet.
