Currently thinking about how my family is literally the Lukas’s.

There’s a lot of us, all scattered across the country, yet barely any of us actually talk to or acknowledge each other. There’s such big rifts between each branch of the family that I barely even know who is related to me or not. That, paired with the anxiety and depression that runs in the family means a lot of us are introverts or house locked, feeding into the isolation and loneliness that is the Lonely.

News Flash! WLW/WLM Headcannons about/Shipping with the Hunters of Artemis is fucking weird, please stop!

Constantly complaining about lack of sexuality representation and then going around and erasing canon Aro/Ace rep is not only incredibly disrespectful but also extremely hypocritical. There are SO MANY other characters in the PJO franchise without canon sexualities you can headcanon, and so little aroace representation out there. Like, the ONLY canon characters are Lilith from TOH and Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, and both of those characters were/are considered evil.

Another thing I’ve seen is people freaking out over “oh (blank)s (sexuality) you can’t headcanon them as something else!” And have NO SUCH qualms about the hunters being headcanoned and shipped with other characters.

Them being unable to date is such an important part of their character and group’s culture, especially sense it stems down to Artemis and her past suitors/mythology. Sure, sometimes they turn out like the ladies in ToA, but it’s still AroAce erasure.

I’m so tired.

I think the reason Jon and Daisy’s friendship means so much to me is because of how much they can relate to each other.

They are both people crushed under the entities boots, unable to do much of anything to stop it. They both had specific childhood experiences that led them down their paths of destruction. They are both people spun into their stories by outside forces, made to do horrific things under the influence of otherworldly entities. They both had to suffer through the starvation of needing to do specific acts to feed, but pushing against it, unwilling to do more harm in the name of their god. They both were put down a path leading to devastation in their downfall.

They understand each other in a way the others can’t. Even with the bad blood and betrayal withering their relationship, they are still the only people in the group who can really, truly understand one another.

They even were both gay.

THIS!!! The characters in TMA are just so phenomenal with their character depth, it’s wonderful

I don’t think I could explain in human words how much I HATE the stereotypes for Martin “The Spinners Little Boy” Blackwood.

The two main characterizations I’ve seen of him either make him a soft teddy bear who does nothing but make tea and cry, or the complete opposite and make him a blood thirty angst machine who is addicted to murder and trying to fuckinv idk break laws ( *cough* a certain yt creator *cough* )

NEITHER of these are good characterizations of him. Yes, they can be good characters, but not Martin.

Martin Blackwood is a character who grew up with a neglectful mother and a “family is blood” mentality, leaving himself to run himself ragged to take care of his only blood relation who wants nothing to do with him, ending in him with no choice but to fall into near poverty and the last choice to lie about his experience to get a half decent job. He is a character who cares so much with so little care thrown back at him. He is a character whose experience and surroundings leave him deep in isolation and loneliness. He his a character who had no choice but to learn how to manipulate himself into peoples perception as an innocent bystander with no fight, and when he’s given to chance to go all out and be vengeful for once he takes it, forcing his one trustful companion out of their comfort zone and nearly throwing their relationship off a cliff via murder.

He is a character so wrapped up in the story, that he ends up with no choice but to fall in the wreckage of his metaphorical and literal prison, holding the bleeding body of his reason for living after having to choose between his love and the world.

He is so much more than his stereotypes.

First off, I love the characters. I’m not entirely done with ep 2 yet, but I just KNOW that i am going to get big fat platonic crushes on both Gwen and Colin. They are perfect and I hope neither of them die tragically.

The way the stories are told bring me LIFE. I love it. But I do wish that there was less audio distortion. It’s very hard to hear the voices between distortion and accents

The first story abt the institute gave me life. I really loved it and the formatting, and I hope they add more social media aspects in the future

Can tell just from the TWs that it is going to be much more heavy with topics.

I am reallly excited to find out more w the whole “Jon and Martin stuck in a computer” thing
