Okay I’m trying so hard to like the live action of Avatar the last airbender but I’m so disappointed. I’m only on episode 4 and I’m just so confused why they rushed and changed core stuff. I feel like the secret tunnel should of been kept for season 2 because it is an important episode for the relationship of Aang and Katara. The Katara and Sokka scene that replaced the original could of happened somewhere else, like ???

I’m all for adaptations changing things for better character arc and story telling. There have been some things I like in the live action that do this, Uncle Iroh/Zukko in this same episode for example, but it’s not enough to overweigh the disappointment I feel. I almost don’t even wanna finish the series. And let’s be so fucking forreal ima be shocked if Netflix actually green lights for a season 2, because they love canceling. Fuck you Netflix this is why I still don’t pay for you.

P.s. I’m not a hater of adaptations or live action I love the tv series the last of us, and that is one of the best adaptations I’ve seen because they followed/cared about source material and the stuff they changed or added only enhanced the story.
