This literally made my heart grow three sizes 🥺
SHADOW AND BONE (2021-) | “The Heart is an Arrow” (1x06)
Oh, I see. I’m the wicked Grisha seductress. I beguile poor, innocent men with my Grisha wiles.

"Everyone wants you here. We have a saying in Farsi. It translates ‘your place was empty.’ We say it when we miss somebody."
I sniffed.
"Your place was empty before. But this is your family. You belong here."

I read 31 books in January & 9 of those were new releases. Here’s those new releases in the order of most-favorite to still-loved-but-had-to-put-in-order-somehow (except Vanishing Stair. I was not a fan of Vanishing Stair).
In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire
The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi
King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo
Kingdom of Copper by S.A. Chakraborty
Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer
Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skye
The Wicked King by Holly Black
White Stag by Kara Barbieri
The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson
PLEASE message me if you want to chat about any of these books. I have so many feelings about so many of them (especially White Stag. If you read White Stag please message me).

Books for Thoughts Book Photo Challenge: Sometimes Words Have Two Meanings
Three Little Words by Ashley Rhodes-Courter
This was one of the most important books I read when I was younger. It shaped who I wanted to be as a person, and influenced my life in so many different ways. The “three little words” aren’t the ones you would necessarily expect, and I still remember the way I felt when I read them. I highly recommend this book!
