At one point my husband was pondering the idea of creating a Twitch account to play games on. It was one of his momentary hyperfixations that his ADHD latched on to. So I offered to draw him a little icon like some twitch streamers will have in the bottom corner of their streams to represent them. I gotta say I had loads of fun designing that hoodie.

Day 4: Throwback Thursday (To Prompt: Mountain from Day 2)

This was part of a 60 day art challenge I did with other artists on Gaiaonline in 2022.

Each day we get to pick from multiple prompts. This day happened to fall on a Thursday which the mods allowed for a Throwback to any of the previous prompts. I chose Day 2's prompt Mountain to experiment drawing some scenery and clouds. It came out far better than I thought it would be still needs a lot of work. Especially with contrast.

Just a druid desert elf that my husband and I were brainstorming about one day back in 2022. I really wanted her to encompass the idea of covering up to protect from the sun like some do. I'd really like to revisit her some day as this was the first and only drawing we did of her after coming up with the idea. But I feel I couldn't do her justice without researching certain customs that may pertain to the ways of her community.

Day 19: Color Palette

This was part of a 60 day art challenge I did with other artists on Gaiaonline back in 2022.

We were able to choose from multiple prompts each day and for this one I chose their color palette that they offered. The inspo for this piece was Sharkitty by Yogin over on (what was formerly called) Twitter. Though theirs are far cuter than what I could make as I'm not used to drawing animals in the first place. But it was fun practice either way.

A drawing I've been going back and forth on for years now. I think I started it in late 2021 or early 2022. Or the concept of it popped up then. All because one of my friends gifted me a drawing of the two of us as witches for my birthday in 2021. Since then I wanted to design a witch of her for her birthday the following year. Except I got to the coloring phase and life got in the way or I got lazy. So it sat for months until I picked it back up again earlier this year. Except when I picked it back up I noticed problems with her anatomy. So I spent a while trying to tweak that in to better shape (with the help of my other artist friends).

After the sketch layer was done I decided to line art her and this was me just starting that.

This is from my Weekly Prompt Challenge. Created for the discord server I'm part of with other artists to give us more ideas to draw with.

This was a sketch for week 13's prompt "Sitting On Ledge" from the pose category. The pose category consists of links to pictures of poses I found on Pinterest (so some of the links may no longer work unfortunately).

This character is one I originally created years ago and haven't drawn much or expanded on since. She was part of a pair. A pair of sisters who are rather toxic with their powers. One had a more goopy or liquid substance of toxin while the other had more of a cloud like toxic. This one is the cloud one and her nickname is the Toxic Watchdog. The idea for her was that she was her sister's assassin. The one who did most of the bloody work. I added the arm tattoo in last minute because I really love tattoos. But I wanted to make it simple when it came to her. I don't see her as the most intricate of people when it comes to tattoos compared to her sister.

Little resketch from a piece I never finished over the last few years. I went back to the bare bones of the piece and tried to work on it again. I'm hoping to some day color it in again. But we'll see. When it comes to the coloring phase, I hold back a lot because I don't feel confident in that area.

I've always loved tattoos and drawing ideas for them, so that's where the thought for this one popped up. I did get a little silly with the necklace since I put most of my time in to the skull and flowers. So I put a little dog on it. Probably in honor of my own derpy boy.

This was from week 11 where I chose the prompt "True Grit" from the movie/tv show category. Overall I like how it turned out but some parts could have been done better but that's what this challenge is all about. It's about learning and trying new things. Things outside of my comfort zone or things I find challenging. Fabric folds and hands were definitely the challenge here.

The final version of Week 10 for the prompt "Apple" from the food category. If you didn't see the sketch version of this piece, I recommend you go check it out to know that I changed the style of her skirt because I STRUGGLED with the original style of it. This ended up being the final form of it but it still turned out better than I expected. I had a blast adding apples anywhere I could in her outfit and the book.
