🎉 It's my birthday!!!! One year older and a lot more books under my belt. I decided that what I want to do for my birthday is going thrift book shopping. So I'll be going to a couple library bookstores, some Goodwills, and probably a Savers. Wish me luck! Really hoping for some good finds! I had been joking with my mom about wanting a shirt that said something the lines of "It's my birthday and all I want is books." My mom found this shirt for me to wear when we go shopping. Also, I'll be posting a picture of the books I can find sometime next week. I already received a few from other family members. The second picture is just to show you my cool hair that we just dyed. A purple-reddish color. Love it! So that's it! It's my birthday so I've spent today chilling and I started reading The Priory of the Orange Tree today for a fundraiser type thing (my Twitter has more info if you're curious). If you want to celebrate my birthday with me (not saying you have to) wish me luck or a Happy Birthday. I have a link to my wishlist and my Ko-Fi in my linktree (https://linktr.ee/nonbinaryknight_reads) if you're interested. Either way, hope you have a great day. . . . . . #birthdaybooks #birthday #bookish #books #birthdaybookhaul #lgbtbooks #bookstagram #bookaddict #bibliophile #sapphicbooks #lesbianbooks #booksofinstagram #booksbooksandmorebooks #booksofig #bookstagrammer #booklover #itsmybirthday #buymeabook https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch-fIHxP7Fm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Struggling to find fanfic
I am absolutely struggling to find a couple of RE: VILLAGE fanfics (on ao3) that I read a while ago.
I can't remember if they were part of the same fanfic or different ones.
One involved Karl collecting the ashes/dust/etc of the Dimitrescu daughters after Ethan Winters killed them. He put them in a necklace or something like that.
The other involved Lady Dimitrescu, her daughters, and I believe a reader S/O dying at the hands of hunters. They were trapped and injured and decided not to separate.
If anyone knows either of these, please let me know.

Too Much
My anxiety is particular bad today. It's due to a couple of things that have happened this month.
That's not too important. Right now my mind is absolutely spiraling so I'm going to post some of my thoughts here.
I don't want to be here. I spend so much of my time worrying about what's happening to me or what could happen. There's so much going on in the world and in my personal life but rather than feel worried or anything, I'm just tired. I am so tired.
I'm tired at flinching at the sounds of slamming doors. I'm tired of worrying about whether something is going to happen again. I'm tired of wanting to hide away in my room because it feels safer. I'm just tired.
I don't like feeling this way. It puts bad thoughts in my head. I try to fight them off and I think I win. The problem is it leaves me empty. I won't do anything to myself, but I have no desire to actually do anything with my life.
Including some TW tags. If I missed any, please let me know.

Transgender Awareness Week
It's Transgender Awareness Week and this week I want people to be aware of me.
I'm just kidding! But for real, it is a good time to be aware of trans people, their struggles, and those that we've lost. It's important to keep them in mind, especially with the amount of anti-trans legislation being put up in courts.
It took me a while to come out to my family, but I've never felt better about it. Being out online was a lot easier for me.
This is the link to my GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/b58ffa22. I want top surgery, but it's expensive. I appreciate any donations, but sharing the link would be just as helpful to me. Thank you so much.
I had two people donate to me today and I am so thankful for their generosity.

Thoughts
Gender dysphoria has been kicking my ass lately. I don't know if it's because I just keep seeing more/hearing more about other people's top surgeries or what, but it's wrecking me.
I just want top surgery. I just want my insurance to cover some, any, of it and not just automatically say that they won't cover trans surgeries. I just want it.
I don't like where my head goes during these dysphoric days. I don't like the bad thoughts that worm into my brain. The thoughts of something scaring a doctor and forcing the insurance to help. Any form of surgery, even if it's not technically top surgery, would be better than nothing. I hate it. I just want to feel comfortable in my skin for once.
I'm years away from it...and I hate that reminder.
I have a GoFundMe that I created hoping that I would eventually have the balls to link it where family might be able to help out. I don't even know if they will, but eventually I'll have that courage.
This is my GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/b58ffa22

Recommendations and More
I don't think I mentioned it but I have a TikTok where I post LGBTQ+ book recommendations. I'm also planning on posting reviews of books there as well. In fact, I recently posted a video where I reviewed the 19 books I read in June in 60 seconds. That specific video can be found here.
I started posting these videos when I realized that I kept seeing the same 10 sapphic book recommendations and they were all mainstream books. I wanted to share my love of some sapphic indie books and authors.

Read with Pride Recommendations
I spent June sharing my Pride Month Book Recommendations on Twitter and Instagram. It would be a lot to post over here, but I did make a post on my blog. If you want to check it out, click the link below.
Most of these recommendations will be sapphic in nature, but I did make sure there were other identities represented.
