"oh Astarion is SOOOO effeminate" wrong. You are judging Astarion by human genders. Astarion is first and foremost a high elf and by high elf standards he is actually INCREDIBLY masc. Other high elves look at him and he reminds them of that one annoying straight guy in their elf-economics (elfenomics if you will) class in elf-college who loved playing devil's advocate. And then they see him kiss a guy and they almost die of shock.

I hate Bruce's "I don't kill because once I start, I wouldn't be able to stop"

Like I simply do not buy it. Murder is not a potato chip Bruce. I think he is full of shit and a messy bitch who lives for the drama. I am certain Bruce has some kind of valid reason for not killing, but I don't believe that this is it.

I was thinking about your posts about Martha + Thomas coming back and disapproving of Bruce's kids / lifestyle and him having to choose between them.

And idk if someone has already said this BUT JUST all the kids thinking that of course Bruce would choose his parents. It's obvious. He loves them so much and his entire life has wished for them back. The kids were just a product of his grief and now that the sources of the grief are back, there's no way Bruce would choose to keep them. Especially after all the individual problems and strains in each of their relationships with Bruce, and when a few of them aren't even adopted.

And the choice is equally as obvious for Bruce. Those are his parents, yes, the ones he's thought of all his life, the ones he's built a legacy off, shaped his entire life around. But those are his children. HIS. The ones he found, helped, loved, raised. It hurts that his parents can't see his love for them, but he's fought against the world for his children ever since he took in a circus kid years ago and introduced him to high society as his son. He's spent years carving out a place for his kids in the world and that's not going to stop now that two strangers that he remembers as his parents have joined the critics. The most vivid memory from his childhood, the one he's learnt the most from is where his parents gave their all, gave their lives for their child. Why would he, after seeing that, not do the same for his own?
