Hi, if you are still looking for recommendations, my tip would be band "Poletíme?". They combine styles like country and jazz, but sound fairly unique. And their lyrics are more of a satire than anything serious. Album "Chce to hit" is great for getting the idea of the band.
Thanks, I'll check them out ❤️

“I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.”          – Confucius
the curve of forgetting
the curve of forgetting describes how we retain or get of information we absorb.
day 1: you go into a lecture knowing 0% and come out knowing 100% of what you know (regardless of whether you know it extremely well or not)
day 2: you did not do any reviewing of your notes from day 1 therefore you have lost 50%-80%
and as the days progress we forget less and less
think about midterms! notice how around midterms when you’re trying to study for something (that you haven’t been reviewing for regularly) it feels like the material is VERY difficult and almost as if you’ve never learned it before
formula to reshape the curve
within 24 hours of your lecture spend 10 minutes reviewing the material
a week later: it will only take 5 minutes to REACTIVATE the same material
ultimately, you will reshape the curve
day 30: by this day your brain will only need 2-4 minutes to recall
information on the curve of forgetting was taken from the university of waterloo (x)
my formula to reshape the curve using the information above
before class: spend 10 minutes PREVIEWING the material.
after class: spend 10 minutes REVIEWING the material
do this regularly. this will be your preview/review system for each class.
a week later: try to review a week later. i know that school/life can get pretty hectic, but try to make sure you are reviewing regularly.
maybe record yourself saying some important details/concepts from your notes the night before and on your daily commute to school plug in those earphones and listen to it. i am an auditory learner and i find that listening to my notes before i go to bed and right when i wake up have truly helped me retain information. studies have shown that the best time to study is right before going to bed and right when you wake up.
a month later: after a month, review what you’ve learned so far in your class. trust me this will be a very very short review. everything will look very familiar to you and it won’t look as difficult as it used to.
basically your review schedule should be the following:
1 hour before learning the material
1 hour after learning the material (or within 24 hours of learning it b/c i know we’re all very busy people)
1 day later
1 week later
1 month later
remember everyone learns, studies, and retains information differently!! my personal belief is that your technique is what matters most. it is not about your innate ability/talent. find a technique that works for you.
more suggestions:
active learning > passive learning
when taking notes use the Cornell method. it forces you to ask questions and summarize what you’ve learned.
set frequent, short, review sessions
test yourself constantly! there are so many resources online.
people who are under stress have difficulty remembering things so CHILL OUT
don’t rush, take your time
repetition is key
practice MAKES PERFECT
group items together
fish, vitamin b12, and green tea can help w/ memory
don’t give up. like morrissey said “these things take time.”

Thai Songs Recommendation!
@sekaistudies requested this so I wanted to share it with all of you because there are so many beautiful Thai songs that are not very popular/known internationally. Thai music should be appreciated to - spread the love guys ^-^ !! WARNING SUPER LONG POST !! lol So this list won’t only consist of Thai pop music but I will probably also add songs from other genres 🎶
Top 5 Sad Thai Songs:
1. Bad Valentine - กัน นภัทร - The singer’s name is Gun Napat aka Gun The Star because he participated in   a casting show called “The Star”. The first time he went there he was rejected.   The second time he participated he won 1st place - He is known for writing and singing meaningful and beautiful love songs - This song is about how he spends yet a valentine alone while other couples     are enjoying being together and even his ex-lover found someone else
2. ที่หนึ่งในหัวใจเธอ (OST.สงครามนางงาม) - แก้ม วิชญาณี - The singer’s name is Gam Wichayanee also known as Gam The Star because    she participated in a casting show called “The Star”. She won 1st place - She is often made fun of because people think she doesn’t look that pretty   (I think she is a beautiful& gorgeous woman)  - Fun fact: She loves the K-Pop group Girl’s Generation - This song is about how she wants to be the number 1 in a certain someone’s    heart - This song is an OST to a Thai Drama which is about a casting show for    models who all have different backgrounds and intentions why they want    to become number 1  - Song title: “Tee Neung Nai Huajai Ter” = Number 1 in your heart/ First place in   your heart
3. ผู้ชายคนนี้กำลังหมดแรง - อ๊อฟ ปองศักดิ์ - This singer’s name is Aof Pongsak - he participated in a casting show called   “Academy Fantasia”  - He is known for writing and singing very sad and depressing songs - This song is the king of all Thai sad songs - When this song was first released the suicide rate in Thailand got higher - This song is about how he was stabbed in the back by the person he loves   and how he can’t go on any more  - He also sings the phrase อยากตาย/“Yak tai” which means “I want to die” - This song is based on his own experiences in his love live; he is homosexual    and had a boyfriend who - in the end - took his money and left   (at the time the song was released it wasn’t made public yet that he was   homosexual - now he’s totally sassy and adorable finally being himself) - Song title: “Pu Chai Kon Nee Gam lang mod raeng” = This guy is losing his   strength (to carry on)
4. ได้ยินไหม - DA endorphine - DA endorphine is a well known rock singer in Thailand - She is known for her strong powerful voice (I’m sorry I don’t know a lot about her) - This song is about how the girl wants to tell the guy that she loves him    but once she gathered all her courage to tell him it was too late  - Song title: “Dai Yin Mai” = Do you hear me?

Top 3 Happy Thai Songs (upbeat)
1. Too Much So Much Very Much - เบิร์ด ธงไชย - abt singer: see Bird Thongchai - This song was very popular in Thailand  - It’s a fun song to listen to - He sings the first part of the chorus in English and the part that follows   is Thai with the same meaning - so it might be good to pick up some  Thai words or phrases c;
2. คุณและคุณเท่านั้น - แกงส้ม ธนทัต - This singer’s name is Kangsom Tanatat aka Kangsom The Star     (I know I recommend so many singers from this show but I think they are     not that bad plus I was quite addicted to this casting show ) - The link I provided leads to an English subbed music video so I guess I don’t    have to explain this one c;
3. บอกตรงๆ รักจังเลย - เชอรีน THE STAR - This singer’s name is Cherreen / Cherreen The Star - Yet another singer from the casting show “The Star” - She dances well and is known for her cuteness - She is Nichkun’s sister (Nichkun is a member of the K-Pop group 2PM) - This song is full of cuteness - It’s perfect if you want to learn some Thai slang c; - The link I provided leads to an English subbed music video so just follow    the link and find out what the song is about c:
Top 3 Happy Thai Songs (relaxing & chill)
1. ทะเลสีดำ - ลุลา ft. ต้าร์ - The singers’ names are Lula and Tar - this song is a duet  - Lula is known for her calm and cute voice  - This song is an OST to a Thai Drama “เกมร้ายเกมรัก"/ Game Rai Game Rak   which roughly means Game of madness/anger & Game of Love. It’s    about how a girl from a rich family falls into the ocean and is stranded on    an island where a small group of people lives.   She loses her consciousness and a guy from the island takes care of her.   Because she lost her memory she acts child like and friendly with him and also   trusts him - thus he falls in love with her and she with him.   But she is eventually taken back to her family and her normal life in the city.   He - of course - follows and tries to find her (btw. sth happened to her after   she was taken back so she doesn’t remember her life on that island anymore)    - I love the main actors of this Drama: Nadech Kugimiya and       Yaya Urassaya Sperbund - The song: This song is about how everything bad will pass and the good will    come soon - The name of the song “Talay see dam” literally means “Black Sea” or “Black   Ocean” which refers to the sea/ocean during the night because the sea/ocean   would look black but soon it will be morning and they should take each others   hand in order to get through this night without any fears
2. จีบ…(May I ?) - แหนม รณเดช - This singer’s name is Naem Ronadate - He is known for composing songs and playing the guitar - He also acts sometimes - The girl in this music video is SO pretty isn’t she? Her name is    Baifern Pimchanok she is really well known for her role in the Thai movie   “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” where she was starring alongside     Mario Maurer who regularly advertises for Pennshope with Sandara Park    a member of the K-Pop group 2NE1 - The song’s title “Jeeb” can mean “Flirt” but sometimes the intention is more    cautious or careful but also more committing. For example it is common in    Thailand for the guy to ask the girl’s father or mother (or even the girl herself) if    he is allowed to “Jeeb” her - technically gain her attention and try to become    her boyfriend and of course taking care of her.     The English title is “May I?” because he asks her if he was allowed to    "jeeb” her
3. จูบ Ost.หนึ่งในทรวง - เจมส์ จิรายุ & ญาญ่า อุรัสยา
- This song is a little special because both singers of this song are actually   actors - I already mentioned the actress in the first song of this category   her name is Yaya Urassaya (Sperbund). She is known for her doll-like   looks and her cute voice - The guy’s name is James Jirayu. He’s also quite popular in Japan c; - The Thai Drama they are playing in is called “หนึ่งในทรวง”/Neung Nai Suang    which means “The One in (my) Heart”. “Neung” means “The One” or “One”     but it is also the male lead’s name so technically it refers to him being in    the female lead’s heart. If you have been studying the Thai language you may    have noticed that “heart” in Thai would be “Huajai” but here it is “Suang” -    that is because Suang is and older term for heart but now-a-days it is still    used in poems and songs etc.  - this Drama actually plays in an older time and place of Thailand - the style    kind of reminds of Gatsby thus I really recommend watching this drama    if you can find a subbed version somewhere - because you get to learn     so many beautiful things about Thailand ^-^ - Oh yeah and to the song: They each talk about how they are thinking about   the trace of each other’s kiss and both are wondering if their significant other   is feeling the same - it’s so cute >.- “Joob” is the song’s title and means “kiss”
Okay so this post really was too long
I promise you guys I tried to keep it short but I really wanted to write some explanations to the songs - I thought that was important c: The songs I recommended are not the newest but I still think they are worth taking a listen to ( the truth is: since uni started I haven’t been updating myself abt new things from the Thai entertainment & music industry - but I def will!) I also tried to not recommend sth that was already well known internationally because in YouTube there are many comparisons between K-Pop/C-Pop/V-Pop/Thai-Pop etc. and there they mostly always take the same songs over and over again ;p  Please tell me how you like the songs and you can request anything anytime! I will try to find time and provide you with good recommendations!
