Hazbin Hotel Fanfiction links for Charlie/Alastor, link for Helluva Boss, spoilers mentioned

Hazbin hotel is a musical cartoon number created by Vivienne "Vivzie Pop" Medrano that can be watched on Amazon Prime. Only season one is out right now. You can watch the series at this link:

The main character is Charlie Morningstar who is running a hotel to rehabilitate sinners in hell so they can go to heaven. Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer. Currently, Charlie is in a bland relationship with a female fallen angel named Vaggie. So what bothers me about their relationship? Their relationship starts out based on a lie. Charlie found Vaggie in an abandoned alley, put a big bandaid on Vaggie's head and nursed Vaggie back to health after her eye had been stabbed out. Their romance bloomed out of Charlie being a nurse to Vaggie after Vaggie was kicked out of heaven for refusing to kill a demon child. Vaggie poses as a moth demon and lies to Charlie about her origins until the angel Adam reveals the truth about where Vaggie comes from. Charlie gets upset but eventually she makes up with Vaggie. I didn't care for Charlie taking Vaggie back. Vaggie lied about who she was to Charlie. Also, Charlie/Vaggie has no chemistry. Vaggie just seems to be with Charlie because Charlie was nice to her in patching her up. That's it. The two girls don't seem to have any common hobbies or interests with each other. Vaggie is just focused on helping Charlie follow her dreams and doesn't seem to have any self interests or worth beyond doing what Charlie wants. Vaggie should be with someone else who will help her realize her own hopes, dreams and goals.

Now unto to most interesting character: Alastor. He was a southern radio host and serial killer before he was killed in a deer hunting accident. Alastor is partly fascinating because of his backstory. As a human, Alastor was born into a mixed Creole family in New Orleans and saw the Stock Market Crash of 1929. He was close friends with fellow demon Mimzy who worked at a jazz club with him when they were both still humans. As a demon, Alastor wears a very stylish coat, pants, has hooves and other physical attributes like a deer. Now, Alastor has a twisted code of ethics which can be read in this free comic link to someone else's tumbler page which shows what a day in Alastor's life in hell is like:

So why Alastor/Charlie? Gosh, the chemistry between these two would be intriguing! Charlie is a dreamer and needs someone who isn't afraid to be realistic with her. Alastor isn't afraid to speak his mind with Charlie. Alastor tells Charlie when she messes up but he doesn't let her have a pity party either. After Charlie comes back from heaven, she is down in the dumps about Vaggie lying to her. Alastor is the one who gets Charlie to get out of bed and go look for an army of demons to fight angels. Alastor is supposed to be asexual but he does mention to Rosie that being with Charlie is being on the winning side. Alastor also tells Charlie she is a charming southern belle. On a slight level, Alastor does seem to find Charlie to be very charming with her singing and charisma. Now, Charlie hasn't been shown to be attracted to Alastor but she does rely on Alastor to protect the hotel. She also made a deal with him indicating she has a certain level of trust that he won't hurt her. Charlie is usually comfortable when talking to Alastor and he seems to enjoy talking to her even when he is insulting her. With her warmth and brightness, Charlie would bring some light into the dark solitude Alastor has built up around himself save for Husk, Niffty, Rosie and Mimzy. Spoon888 a fantastic Transfomers fanfic writer

Spoon888 is a fanfiction writer I have been following for the last couple of years. Spoon888 is great at writing Starscream, Ratchet, Megatron and other Transformers with comedy, romance and drama. Spoon888 responds to some comments left at the end of their stories but not as much as he/she used to do possibly due to having a busy life. Now, Spoon888 has written 245 fanfics for Transformers and will have more probably written. I'm not going to post all 245 fics but will post links to the fics I like best by this author.

Review of 2022 Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers Movie with Spoilers

The 2022 Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers movie is a spiritual successor to Who Framed Roger Rabbit which came out in 1988. The two main characters Chip and Dale are from the adapted 1989 series with the same name as the movie. In 1943, Chip and Dale were created by Disney to appear in the 1943 cartoon called Private Pluto. A huge complaint about the 2022 movie was Chip and Dale were stated to grow up in the 1980s instead of being created in 1943. The movie is primarily focused on the Chip and Dale from the 1989 cartoon and not any other versions of Chip and Dale. Chip and Dale had a beautiful friendship in this movie. Dale was shown to be a lonely kid on his first day of school. The teacher introduced Dale to his classmates who just stared at him. Dale performed a joke to lighten the mood but the joke goes horribly wrong. He stuck a pencil in his eye which prompted some of the kids to call him a freak.

At lunchtime, Dale sat by himself at a table. Chip approached Dale and asked if he can eat lunch with him. Hesitantly, Dale said yes. Then, Chip offered to tell Dale how he could set up his joke to get more laughs. Dale accepted Chip's offer which was the start of their wonderful friendship. Later, Chip confessed he was just as lonely as Dale was at school. The other students ignored Chip and he felt invisible. Chip begged his mom to let him stay home from school so he didn't have to face being socially isolated by other students. However, Chip's mom encouraged Chip to reach out to another student to make a friend. She told Chip that he wouldn't get anywhere in life if he didn't take risks. So that day, Chip took a risk when he saw Dale sitting alone. Chip asked Dale to be his friend and Dale said yes.

Chip and Dale's friendship/chemistry helped them become a comedy duo as grownups. Chip played the logical straight man while Dale played the goofball. Their routine helped land them the 1989 Chip and Dale cartoon. For awhile, the two of them had fame and fortune. Eventually, Dale decided he was tired of being hit in the head every week for comedy purposes. He told Chip he wanted to do his own show called Double O Dale which was a reference to the 1989 episode Double O Duck from Duck Tales where Launch Pad plays a spy. Frustrated, Chip warned Dale that Rescue Rangers would be cancelled if he left the show. Undeterred, Dale left the show, Rescue Rangers was cancelled and the pilot episode of Double O Dale was scrapped.

After Rescue Rangers was cancelled, Chip ended up selling insurance and living a closed off domestic life with his dog Millie. Dale ended up going to cons, setting up a booth with merchandise from Rescue Rangers and trying to get show gigs whenever possible. Zipper and Gadget got married and had a ton of fly/mouse hybrid babies. On youtube, some people commented they found Gadget/Zipper strange. I didn't care about this ship. I was just glad Gadget wasn't paired off with Chip or Dale. In the 1989 cartoon, Dale and Chip spent too much time fighting each other to win Gadget's affections. Gadget couldn't decide which chipmunk she liked so she didn't pick either of them. Dale was implied to hook up with the flying bat named Foxglove later in the 1989 cartoon and the Boom comics.

Monterey Jack's cheese addiction caused him to become kidnapped by Bad Pete since Bad Pete wanted Monterey Jack to star in a bootleg movie. Bad Pete's backstory seemed to be a callout to Bobby Driskell who got too old to play Peter Pan and was fired by Disney. The movie director claimed Bad Pete was supposed to represent child actors getting cast aside by Hollywood when they got too old to play children roles. Some people complained about how Bad Pete aged and one of the Lost boys remained young. Here's my answer to that complaint: This movie has toons getting CGI surgery so toons can probably get plastic surgery or other operations to look young. The Lost Boy probably got surgery to keep looking young forever. Bad Pete didn't want to get the CGI surgery or do any operations on himself. He just wanted to be in charge of directing bootleg movies.

Bad Pete forced Monterey to undergo animation surgery so he looked like Dumbo. Chip and Dale had to team up to rescue Monterey Jack. The two of them doing their horrible rap in the Russian bathhouse for the talking snake was hilarious. Chip and Dale acknowledged their rap was bad but admitted they had fun together. Really, the two of them having fun as friends was all that mattered. Two times, Chip thought Dale was dead. The first time Chip cried when he looked at what he thought was Dale's body. Dale stood next to Chip and told Chip that he was looking at a stuffed doll from the Double O Dale cartoon. Dale asked if Chip was crying over him and Chip denied he was crying. The second time, Dale got in front of Chip to protect him from a bullet. Dale collapsed from the bullet's impact in front of Chip. Crying, Chip flung himself on Dale and confessed why he needed Dale so much in his life. Dale's eyes opened and he revealed a coaster in his shirt saved him from the bullet's hit. Then, Chip and Dale hug each other.

People complained about how Gadget, Zipper, Monterey Jack, Dale and Chip were only together briefly once Monterey Jack was rescued. The whole gang being together wasn't what this movie was about. The movie title is Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers because the movie was about the two main characters Chip and Dale and their friendship. Chip and Dale had a strong friendship but both of them had insecurities. Dale felt Chip only saw him as a charity case and wanted to hear just once for Chip say he needed him. Chip had too much pride to say how much he needed Dale until Dale got shot in front of him. Abandoning his pride, Chip was able to tell Dale he made Dale the second banana so Chip could be first banana to be good at something in his life. Chip told Dale he was wrong for making him be second banana and that he should have encouraged Dale in whatever goals he wanted to meet. Finally, Chip surmised he was a bad friend and wanted to be a better friend to Dale. This admission from Chip was all Dale really wanted. The two of them reconcile and do their series reboot together. The movie ends with Dale and Chip laughing, having fun as friends while doing different advertisements for their reboot. This movie gets five out of five stars for me. You can watch this movie on Disney Plus.

Fanfiction for Tulip/Junior in Storks movie, movie spoilers mentioned

I watched the 2016 Storks movie last night and now, I ship eighteen year old Tulip with the stork Junior who might be around Tulip's age in stork years. Anyway, when Junior and Tulip meet, it's rather awkward. Hunter who is Junior's boss wants Junior to fire Tulip so the storks can be free of taking care of her and she can go out in the human world. Tulip had to be taken care of by the storks because a stork named Jasper accidentally imprinted on her and broke the homing beacon that was supposed to deliver her to her human family. Jasper was fired from being a baby delivering stork employee and cast out. The storks had to raise Tulip themselves and attempted to train her as an employee as she got older. Unfortunately, Tulip sucks at being an employee since she messes things up due to being a klutz. Hunter wants to get rid of Tulip because she brings down marginal profit for the storks.

Junior is told he just has to fire Tulip and he will become a boss like Hunter. I got the feeling Junior was really lonely at the beginning of the movie. At the film's beginning, Junior is seen asking other storks to hang out with him after work in the locker room. The other storks say they can't hang out with Junior because they have spouses, kids and other family obligations. Junior is somewhat crushed but brightens up with a fake smile. The social rejection reminded Junior that he has no one outside of work: no friends, no wife, no kids, really no nothing. So, Junior has thrown himself into work because his job is all he has. Hunter has noticed Junior's hardwork and that's why he is offering Junior the chance of becoming a boss.

I don't think Junior could fire Tulip because he did notice how lonely she was prior to the events of the movie despite never speaking to her. Tulip did have a few bird friends but she was mostly by herself. Outside of the two or three birds friends she had, her job status as a lowly employee, she really had nothing. Tulip craved social interaction and she tells Junior at the start of the movie she is so happy that he is talking to her for the first time. She knew who Junior was, she always wanted him to talk to her and he never said anything to her until he was given the task of firing her. Instead of firing her, Junior ends up wishing Tulip a happy birthday and giving her a job in the mail room so she will be out of the other stork employee's ways. Junior somehow sensed Tulip was like him in being lonely and that tugged at his conciseness.

Later in the movie, Junior and Tulip end up taking care of a human baby named Diamond Destiny. These lines just made me laugh while Tulip and Junior were trying to get Diamond Destiny to go to sleep :

Tulip says, "We are like a family."

Junior grumbles and says, "No, we are not a family. We are just a guy and a girl trying to get our baby to go to sleep."

Gee, a guy and a girl putting their baby to bed is literally one definition of what a family is.

Then, Junior and Tulip end up shouting at each other while carrying Diamond Destiny saying these lines: "I wish I never met you! Well, I wish I never met you!" Then, Tulip yells frustrated, "This baby was the only good thing that came out of us meeting!" Good lord, taken out of context, they sound like two exes fighting and that the baby is their love child tying them together.

I can't forget the scene where Tulip and Junior are bickering while the baby is awake and crying:

Tulip: You go to bed and I'll take care of it.

Tulip is referring to the crying baby.

Junior: Alright! I'll go to bed.

Tulip: I can't believe you went to bed!

Junior: You just said it was ok for me to go to bed!

The above dialogue makes me think of them as first time parents/newly married couple taking care of their baby.

The link below is a complete one shot by starsailorwrites about Junior and Tulip having a sleepover. Junior asks Tuplic how human intimacy works and the sleepover gets less platonic from there.

The link above is to another complete one shot fic by the same author where Junior is reading some hate mail at his job. Tulip gives Junior some advice on how to handle his work problems and asks him out on a date.

The link above is a complete one shot that is canon divergent from the movie by the same author above. The story is what Tulip would have done if the homing beacon attempting to deliver her to her human family hadn't worked despite Jasper putting the device back together. She, Junior and Jasper focus on taking care of Diamond Destiny and moving forward with their lives. The fic has a sweet, romantic ending for Junior and Tulip along with a lesson that sometimes finding your family doesn't always involve going to a designated address with people waiting for you.

Unfortunately, starsailorwrites has abandoned some of the fics they were writing for Tulip/Junior Storks fandom and commented they are no longer writing fanfiction for Storks. The above fics are good but there isn't much else Starsailorwrites has that is complete from what I have seen. Last fic link link below is by author I.M Rally:

This fic is a complete, 15 chapter story. The author has a female OC named Aggie who works at the stork delivering company help Junior and Tulip overcome their fears of what society will say about their relationship and romantically get together. There are lots of characters crossovers from different cartoons and movies that show up in this fic like from My Little Pony and Tom and Jerry. Hunter shows up in this fic having survived the fall at the end of the movie. Junior is written to be Hunter's son and is given the backstory that he had wanted to originally take over the company to make his dad proud. Junior's mom is written to have died when he was little and her death is what made Hunter become a work alcoholic to where he became the boss of the company. Junior thought he could get his dad to love him again like when he was little by working hard and becoming boss like his dad wanted. Sadly, Junior realizes Hunter is now too bitter and angry and is never going back to being the loving dad of his early years. The fic ends with Junior and Tulip getting married. Junior learns he has to be happy doing what he wants to do in life and not based on his father's ambitions. This fic has alot of song verses with characters singing which annoys me a little but that doesn't detract from what a good story this fic is.

There isn't many other fics I found for this ship but enjoy the links above. The movie ends with Junior and Tulip delivering Diamond Destiny to her human family. Tulip meets her human family for the first time and they all hug her. Junior stands awkwardly off to the side while Tulip is getting hugged. Sensing Junior watching, Tulip grins and tells Junior to come join in the hug. Tulip's family pulls Junior into the the hug when he attempts to politely decline. Startled by the affection, Junior slowly relaxes into the hug with Tulip's family and closes his eyes. In the beginning of the movie, Junior and Tulip were very lonely without a family. The ending of the movie comes full circle with Junior and Tulip gaining a family unit and finding they are family with each other. Before the movie credits roll, you can see Junior and Tulip posting baby photos with happy families on a giant wall of all the babies the stork company delivered. Junior is now the company boss since Howard is gone and Tulip is his assistant helping the stork company deliver babies again.

Harley Quinn season 4 review/spoilers and links/trivia for people

I finished season 4 of Harley Quinn which began in 2019 developed by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey. The plot revolves around Harley voiced by Kaley Cuoco who has broken up with the Joker setting off to become the new queenpin in Gotham City. Eventually, Harley dates Poison Ivy voiced by Lake Bell. Harley also gains friends such as Clayface voiced by Tudyk, King Shark voiced by Ron Funches, Doctor Psycho voiced by Tony Hale and Sy Borgman voiced by Jason Alexander. So it took me two days to finish season 4 and watch the Valentines Day Special. Here's what I thought was good about season 4:

Harley and Ivy learned they needed to communicate better as a couple after their future daughter tells them they were bad parents who never listened to her.

Seeing how Harley and Ivy attempted to balance their separate jobs as villains and heroes and make their romantic relationship work. Couples getting different jobs can affect an intimate relationship in real life.

The bat family not accepting Harley was good. Batgirl liked Harley due to hanging out with her but Nightwing and Damian didn't have much of a reason to like Harley.

Harley hanging out and training with Alfred was sweet.

King Shark having to be a new dad was comical. He thought being a single dad would be easy like what he had seen on television. For better or worse, Jim Gordon gives King Shark some advice such as giving the new shark babies liquor to calm down and allowing them to see violence on security cameras as a form of entertainment.

Nora Fries becoming Ivy's personal assistant was great. She is voiced by Rachel Dratch and has charm and wit. She's filling the spot that Ivy's talking plant Frank used to have.

Bane was wonderful as always. He's so sweet and I hope he can get back with Betty from the Valentines Day Special since Nora just seems to be using Bane was a lackey.

Lex Luther being the final villain for season 4 was well done. His obsession with Superman was his drive for blocking out the sun. There were little moments highlighting his Superman fetish such as when he demanded a man whom he was watching have intercourse put a Superman cape back on.

The final episode set Talia Al Ghul up to be the big villain for season 5. She brought Nightwing back to life in the Lazarus Pit who is now a creepy zombie of sorts out to get revenge on Harley.

Batgirl or Barbara Gordon getting shot by the Joker like in the comics. She's now exercising her computer skills and on her way to becoming the Oracle.

Things I didn't like about season 4:

Clayface didn't show up as much as I would have liked. He is in two episodes. He is now a celebrity and doesn't hang out with Harley and Ivy anymore.

Dr. Psycho-This was my favorite character and I was bummed about how he was demoted to being an extra after season two. I wanted to see him get a redemption arc but that doesn't happen. Still, his character does make appearances in season three and four which is nice.

Harley lying to Batgirl about Nightwing's death. She claims her potato clone killed Nightwing instead of admitting she was the one who killed Nightwing. Harley lying will no doubt lead to conflict between the two girls in season 5.

What was Batman doing in jail? I would have liked to have seen a whole episode focused on what he was doing but all we see is him being a DJ for two seconds.

The Joker's girlfriend Bethany and her kids turning evil. I didn't mind the Joker becoming evil again. I figured he would get tired of being mayor and go back to being a villain. Since Bethany was a nurse, I thought she would break up with the Joker after learning he was evil. Instead, she and her kids laugh, deciding to support the Joker in killing people. Season 3 showed Bethany and her kids to be good, decent civilians with no reason to become villains so the writing seemed a little weak with them in season 4.

I loved the Valentines Day Special. I was glad to see Bane find a special someone for him and for Harley/Ivy to enjoy their first Valentines Day together.

Harley Quinn and Bruce Wayne got married in the White Knight comic series. The White Knight comics are about Joker becoming sane, adopting the name Jack Napier and protecting Gotham City, Jack marrying Harley Quinn and he becomes insane again unfortunately. Bruce reveals his identity as Batman to the public and has to adjust to life not being Batman. Joker dies eventually and Harley becomes a single mom to her two twins: a boy and a girl. Bruce helps support Harley and the two of them get married which you can read about in these links:

Batman/Harley in the White Knight comic universe is the only place this pairing has happened. Unfortunately, they don't look to be a happy couple. Harley grew attached to Bruce after the Joker died. She married Bruce so she wouldn't have to testify against him in court. Bruce tells Harley the main thing that has them bounded together is the trauma the Joker caused both of them. Upset, Harley insists there are mutual feelings between them which Bruce denies. Angry, Harley walks off and leaves Bruce to brood. I like this pairing but this comic series may not let Harley/Batman have a happy ending.

Harley is a wonderful character created in the DC universe. She needs to have someone who will treat her better than the Joker ever did. So far, she seems to be happiest with Poison Ivy from what I have seen in the Harley Quinn cartoon.

Godzilla/Kong Fanfics and spoilers from 2021 movie

After watching the Godzilla versus King Kong movie that came out in 2021, I became a huge fan of Godzilla/Kong as a ship. The honest trailers commentary that I watched from this link further cemented me loving this ship:

Godzilla and Kong stare at each other, breathe heavily and roar during their second fight. The tension between them screamed get a room! This pairing is more interesting to me than pairing Godzilla with any of the other monsters. Mothra is referred to as Queen of the monsters and sometimes she is shipped with Godzilla. I don't think Godzilla/Mothra would work since she's a giant bug and Godzilla could smush her if he's not careful. There's also Godzilla/Ghidorah who is the three headed monster and then there's Godzilla/Rodan who is the flying monster and there's probably other Godzilla pairings out there. So why Kong and Godzilla?

Godzilla and Kong are both different species with different autonomy but that possibly wouldn't stop them from getting together. There are no more females left that we know of either of their species unless future movies decide to reveal a female for them. There was an old Godzilla movie where Godzilla was able to lay eggs without finding a mate but I think the Godzilla of these new monsterverse movies is an animal that would reproduce through mating with a female. Both of these males have a desire to hunt, fight and potentially still mate. Godzilla would most likely want to choose the strongest monster for a mate and the second strongest monster after him is Kong. Kong and Godzilla would be perfect for each other since they both like to fight and spar.

More Aaravos/Viren Fanfics

This complete one shot is about Aaravos being obsessed with touching Viren.

Mine is a complete one shot fic where Viren gets to be on top for the first time with Aaravos.

Gentle Touches is the first part of a complete two part fic series where Viren wants physical affection from Aaravos. The author said there is no sex in this series.

This complete one shot fic is a prequel to the complete one shot story Shards. The author said both fics can be read in any order. Both fics highlight Viren and Aaaravo's relationship going in a new direction neither of them anticipated.

Keep My Body Near is the best fic series I saved mentioning for last. This fic is a complete 9 chapter story. This fic is the very best with the author using really descriptive imagery with how Aaravos and Viren touch each other. The story is told from Viren's point of view. Viren's thoughts are really well written in how he processes what he feels for Aaravos from start to finish. If you are only going to read one fic out of what I have listed, read this one. You won't be disappointed.

The Dragon Prince Viren and Aaravos Shipping and Recommended fanfics

I stayed up watching all of season five of the Dragon Prince which runs on Netflix. I was really happy to see Sir Sparklepuff a homunculus child be revealed to be a mix of Aaravos and Viren's DNA. I'm pretty sure Sir Sparklepuff is also a mix of other animals like possibly a butterfly or a moth since he was made with magic. Anyway, Sir Sparklepuff is the closest thing the show will ever have of Viren and Aaravos having a love child. So why ship Viren and Aaravos? Here is some background information on the show:

First, the Dragon Prince is a fantasy cartoon created by Aaron Ehasz who worked on the Avatar the Last Airbender cartoon. The three main characters are Prince Callum who is a human teenager in training to be a mage, King Ezran who is a child king who can talk to animals and Rayla is a moon shadow elf teenager trained to be an assassin. These three kids along with the non-talking Dragon Prince Azymondias who acts like a dog are attempting to bring peace to the magical world of Xadia. Xadia is a land overrun with different types of elves, humans, dragons and other magic creatures. The main villain the four heroes must defeat is the elf named Aaaravos who is looking to break out of his prison and possibly rule Xadia. Callum and Rayla spend time together and fall in love in later seasons. Those two are the main couple on the show. I have nothing against Callum/Rayla other than I find them to be bland and predictable. Now, here is information on the only two interesting characters and best pairing on this show:

Aaravos is a Startouch elf who has been imprisoned in a furnished library cell at the bottom of the ocean for centuries. His one crime known for sure is that he killed the SunFire Elf Queen predating Khessa by swallowing her. The rest of his crimes and future goals once he gets out of prison are unknown. I'm guessing Aaravos possibly wants to rule the world. He is noted to be over five thousand years old. Aaravos narrates the opening of the cartoon. He is voiced by Erik Dellums.

Viren voiced by Jason Simpson is a high mage that served under King Harrow for many years. He is divorced and is the father of Soren who is a knight and Claudia who is a mage. Viren favors his daughter Claudia over Soren since she is talented at using magic like him. Soren sadly, tries to get his father's approval by displaying his athletic abilities to no avail. Ultimately, Soren gives up on getting Viren to like him and joins Callum's group in saving Xadia. As for Viren, things start to go downhill when King Harrow won't take his advice to use dark magic to save his life. To add insult to this injury, Harrow tells Viren to kneel like a servant before him and says Viren is not his equal. This disrespect after many years of loyal service is what pushes Viren to the dark side in turning against Harrow.

So how do Viren and Aaravos meet? Viren gets a magic mirror which is a portal to Aaravos's prison. He is intrigued by Aaravos when he sees the elf sitting in a chair through the mirror. Aaravos motions for Viren to put a creepy caterpillar in his ear which Viren refuses to do at first. Viren puts a blanket over the magic mirror and goes to the library to research Aaravos. However, everytime he tries to read a book about Aaravos, the text fades to black, no matter what book he picks. Annoyed, Viren goes back to the magic mirror, uncovers it and throws the blanket away. He sees Aaravos is still sitting in his prison and demands to know why he can't find any information about Aaravos in books. Smiling, Aaaravos holds the creepy caterpillar up to Viren at the glass portal. He hand motions for Viren to take the caterpillar which Viren does somewhat reluctantly. Then, Aaravos handmouths instructions for Viren make a magic potion to drink which Viren does. After drinking the potion, Viren puts the caterpillar in his ear. Finally, Viren is able to hear Aaaravo's voice through the caterpillar. The delighted elf tells Viren he has waited too long to hear the voice of another person. Aaaravos tells Viren his name was wiped from all books by a spell and he is trapped in a prison at an unknown location. Wary, Viren asks what Aaravo's crimes were and Aaravos refuses to tell him. Frustrated, Viren threatens to destroy the mirror if Aaravos won't give him the information he wants. Aaaravos calls Viren's bluff saying Viren won't destroy the mirror because he is too curious about Aaravos and wants to figure him out. The elf proposes an alliance where he will help Viren rule Xadia if Viren helps break Aaaravos out of his prison. Reluctantly, Viren accepts resulting in a shaky partnership between human and elf.

Why ship these two? I love a pairing where there is tension between characters. Aaaravos and Viren as a ship definitely has tension and chemistry. Viren starts off only wanting to help the human kingdoms of Xadia prosper. He wants to achieve his goals in as ethical a way as possible. But, Aaaravos manages to convince Viren to take what he wants by force. Aaravos is definitely a toxic influence for Viren but Viren wasn't an angel when the show began. By the start of the show, Viren has been using dark magic for decades. His true appearance shows his eyes are black and his body has been drained reducing his skin to pasty color as a side effect from using dark magic. Viren has to use glamour magic to hide his appearance from everyone except Aaaravos. Aaaravos doesn't care what Viren looks like and Viren doesn't have to use glamor magic around him. In my opinion, Aaravos was the only person Viren could vent or confide in about how unappreciated he was at the king's court at the start of the show. Granted, Aaravos just listened to Viren so he could manipulate him later but he was still a very patient listener with Viren. Viren could talk about his life goals with Aaravos and not have his hopes/dreams sliced to ribbons. Also, Aaaravos appears to enjoy Viren's company seen in one example when Viren recounts how he killed the Dragon King he nicknamed Thunder to Aaaravos. The two of them enjoy reading books and experimenting with magic. Also, I just love how Viren attempts to be defiant towards Aaaravos saying he won't do what the elf wants but almost always ends up doing what Aaravos wants anyway. Usually fanfiction, portrays Viren as being more submissive and Aaravos as being more dominant. Here are some recommended fanfics of these two:

Our child is a complete, one shot fic by strangefake where Viren bonds with Sir Sparklepuff after learning the homunculus is his child.

The Sound of His Voice is a complete one shot about Viren getting seduced by Aaravos just by hearing the elf's voice.

Everyone gets one is a complete two chapter fic where Viren attempts to deny to Claudia that he is dating Aaravos.

Fallen Star by Storm Fire_22 is an on going 46 chapter fic about Viren and Aaravos playing mind games with each other. Viren and Aaravos both care for each other but be prepared for them to have really bad communication skills in this story.

To Noon He fell is a complete one shot about Aaravos sharing his life history with Viren.

Discontinous is the first of a four fic series called Limits by RazRas. The author recommends you read the series in order. The story explores the idea of Viren having past feelings for King Harrow, his relationship with his ex wife and what the concept of what a family is. Soren and Claudia appear in the series and have a hard time understanding Viren dating Aaarvos. Both kids eventually accept their dad is gay and that their mom and dad won't get back together.

Just a coworker relationship is a complete one shot fic where Viren attempts to deny what his relationship with Aaarvos is to Claudia. Claudia figures out what her dad's relationship with Aarvos is within three seconds.

Soulmates is an ongoing 27 chapter fic where Aarvos finds out Viren is supposed to be his soulmate through a magic reading. Smitten, the elf decides to start a war so he can meet Viren. However, Viren senses Aaravos is hiding information from him which promotes tension between them.

If I had a heart by undefined_trevelyan is a complete, eight-chapter fic about Aaravos helping Viren overcome low self-esteem issues. At first, Viren resists Aaravo's affections but returns the elf's feelings by the end of the story.

Transformers fic series called Darkness featuring Jack/Megatron with an overview of Transformers Prime

So, I have followed this fanfic writer the last couple of years. The author’s name is Misgel and delayed writing this amazing, three part series due to the author being in college, author finding a job, author being sick and other life mishaps. Now, I have no idea why the last part of this fantastic, three-part trio logy fanfic has not been completed. (The reason why the fic has not been completed doesn’t matter. I just want this amazing story to be finished.) The third part of the fic has been on a cliffhanger since 2021.

The fanfic revolves around the cartoon Transformers series called Transformers Prime. This cartoon started in 2010 and lasted three seasons. One of the main characters was sixteen year old Jack Darby. Jack went to a high school called Jasper High. The series takes place in Nevada. Jack works a part time job as a drive thru cashier at a restaurant called KO Burgers. He makes mediocore grades, daydreams about having a cool car or motorcycle to impress the popular cheerleader Sierra and goes home to his mom June Darby who is a single nurse working to support herself and her son. By chance, Jack meets a talking motorcycle named Arcee, jumps in the driver’s seat when Arcee transforms and is dragged into the war of the Autobots. Jack meets hyperactive, teenage Miko Nakadai who dyes her hair bright colors and nerdy, bullied Raf Esquivel who both are friends with the Autobots. At first, Jack proclaims way too many times in the series that he just wants to have a normal life but ultimately accepts his role over the course of the series of being an Autobot ally. He keeps his afterschool activities a secret from June but she eventually finds out her son is hanging out with giant robots. June’s not happy with this revelation but she comes to terms with her son’s higher calling to save the world from Decepticons and becomes somewhat involved with the Autobots herself. I did read many fics pairing June off with Ratchet who she is on friendly speaking terms with or government Agent Fowler who involves her in a few missions. In the show, Jack hints he’s not a fan of his mom getting to close to any males but he just needs to accept his mom is allowed to have a love life of her own while he is off with potential love interest Arcee. Jack spent much more time with Arcee than his girlfriend Sierra so I saw the sixteen year old boy and the giant female robot who could be a motorcycle being a more potential couple. I don’t care that the human and transformer characters don’t have certain atomical parts for an intimate relationship since fanfiction has a beautiful way of taking care of those relationship obstacles. Maybe I’ll post some of those fic links for another day if I feel like it. Anyway, back to this fic:

So, the cartoon never addresses what happened to Jack’s dad in the series. This writer Misgel comes up with a backstory that Jack’s dad was in the military and Jack, June and his dad had to move all the time. Misgel mixes in events from the Micheal Bay Transformers movies for this fic. Technically, the fic would be considered a crossover between the live action Transformers movie and the Transformers Prime cartoon. Some of the movie characters do show up in the fic. Jack’s dad dies with some other soldiers when getting caught up in the crossfire of Megatron who is the leader of the Decipticons being engaged in combat with the Autobots. Two officers come to Jack’s house and tell Jack and his mom that Jack’s dad is dead. Numbed with grief, Jack attempts to go through the motions of life going to school and not developing connections with anyone other than his mom. However, he meets Arcee and his life is turned upside down like the cartoon. The fic is cannon until the part where Megatron and Jack meet in a cave. In the cartoon, Jack leaves Megatron trapped by rocks in the cave and returns to the Autobot base with Arcee. In this fic, Jack frees Megatron from the rocks in the cave to show the Decepticon leader kindness and mercy. In return, Megatron decides not to kill Jack and takes him as a prisoner to the Decepticon warship called the Nemesis. The Autobots do attempt to rescue Jack but fail. At the warship, Megatron tortures Jack to find out where the Autobot base is and looks into Jack’s memories with a technological device that invades Jack’s mind.

Megatron finds himself intrigued by Jack when he realizes Jack is the son of a deceased solider and sees some of the heroic events Jack has performed to save the lives of his human and Autobot friends in Jack’s mind. He decides not to kill Jack since he finds Jack reminds him of how the Autobot leader Optimus Prime used to be as Orion Pax before absorbing the matrix. So this is a rundown of what Megatron does with Jack instead (maybe death would have been better, you decide?): First, after mind raping Jack with a device hooked into his brain and not giving him food and water for several days, Megs notices Jack isn’t looking too good and deduces he has no food or water for Jack on his ship. Instead of raiding a grocery store, Megatron forces Jack to drink the blood of Unicorn by giving him CPR with the dark purple energon. Unicron was regarded by the Autobots to be a giant robot that was the destroyer of worlds and energon is the ore liquid that the Autobots and Decipticons drink to stay alive. In Transformers Prime, the story revealed when Unicorn went into a coma and floated in outerspace, his robot body formed the basis of the planet Earth. Earth is teaming with purple energon steaming from Unicorn’s body at the Earth’s core. Back to my list of what Megatron does with Jack: Jack wakes up after Megatron gives him CPR. Megatron keeps Jack his prisoner for a long time and tells him his own version of why the Autobots and Decpticons went to the war and why the planet Cybertron was destroyed where the transformers used to live.The purple stuff that Megatron gave Jack has now caused some changes to Jack’s body.

The purple energon transforms Jack’s human body to where he is now dependent on the purple ore to live. He can still eat human food and drink water but his body isn’t sustained by human nutrients anymore. He also now understands and speaks the Cybertroian language that both the Autobots and Decipticons speak. There is also the mind link Megatron and Jack share since Unicrons blood flows through both their bodies. Both robot and boy feel each others emotions. Other than that, Jack is still human and now mentally scarred. Jack realizes Optimus Prime and the other Autobots left some details out of how the Autobot/ Decipticon conflict started and now he doesn’t know who he can trust. Surprisingly, Megatron does let Jack go free but Jack’s life is a mess. His relationships with his girlfriend Sierra, Arcee, Miko, Raf and the everyone he knows except his mom June fall apart. Mostly throughout the trilogy fic, Jack is struggling to recover from the trauma/manipulation Megatron inflicts on him and from Stockholm Syndrome. Megatron goes from seeing Jack as a human pet/ replacement for Optimus Prime to caring for the teenager as a son of sorts. Megatron actually gets upset when Jack says he hates him. Angry, Megatron scratches the walls of his warship with his claws thinking about how to get Jack to respect him. Throughout all three fics, Megatron and Jack argue because Jack doesn't like how Megatron blatantly kills everyone to get what he wants. Of course, Megatron has no problem with killing all sentient life since he's been killing whoever disobeys him for millions of years, is a insane psychopath and excepts Jack to be fine with whatever murders/killings/crimes he commits. On the cartoon, Megatron and Orion Pax/Optimus Prime were once friends until they disagreed on what to do politically with their planet Cybertron and this fic suggests Megatron is looking for a replacement in the friendship he once had with Optimus in Jack. In return, Jack finds himself horrified that after finding out Megatron killed his dad, that he has grown attached to Megatron and doesn’t want to see Megatron die. His horror deepens when he realizes he acknowledges Megatrons death would be like losing a second dad. What a dilemma: sixteen year old human kid doesn’t want to lose his silver metal robot dictator father figure who killed his human dad since dictator has been spending lots of father/son quality time with kid in a forced relationship without boundaries. Misgel did say in a comment to a reader that the relationship between Jack and Megatron is a twisted father/son relationship of sorts. It’s not a healthy relationship since Megatron wants to kill everyone close to Jack to make Jack loyal only to him but boy, it’s an intriguing trainwreck of a relationship that you will find yourself wasting a whole day, days, months or weeks on reading or rereading. Also, Jack is missing out on going to highschool in this fic since he’s saving the world so he will probably have to get his GED later. It’s absolute torture Misgel has not updated fic fic in a few years but you should read the story anyway because it’s got drama, action, sci-fil, fantasy, violence, family issues/mental health issues and a coming of age story with a teenager wrapped up in a neat little box with a big bow. Favorite Possible Fanfic Ending : Jack would stop the human government and Autobots from killing Megatron by convincing them to give him a second chance. Jack would confess to Megatron that he sees him as a second dad. Touched by Jack's confession, Megatron would realize he doesn't care about the Decipticon cause anymore and stop being the Decipticon leader. He would discover Jack's safety is the only thing he really cares about anymore. The Decipticons would disband and Megatron would go into exile in outer space. No one would want Megatron to stay on earth since he's killed so many people. Megatron would accept Cybertron is never going to revive and just focus on helping the planets/people he has hurt for the remainder of his life. Jack would finish his high school education and get a job at NASA. He would go up into space and join Megatron in his humanitarian efforts of helping others. The final chapter ending would be Megatron showing Jack where they would be going on a virtual map within a space ship. This ending would be cheesy but I would love it to pieces.

More Draxum fics and Recommended YouTube Videos Analyzing Donnie and Leo from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles

More Draxum fanfics of him bonding with turtles and recommended Youtube videos of a girl's character analysis on Leonardo and Donatello

So, I found more fanfics of Draxum bonding with the turtles and decided to share them. Most of these fics are on the lighter side with some seriousness but mostly happy. Usually, I like Draxum to be reformed and I prefer fics where Donatello isn’t hurting himself or being suicidal. Donatello is surrounded by three supportive brothers and two dads so I don’t think he would hurt himself. The first two mentioned fics are the only two serious ones. Here are the list of recommended fics I found:

Ok, so I was pouring over this fic for hours by Faiakishi which is called Dawning of the Hour which is complete and the sequel fic is called Third From The Son which is still on going. The story is so good and had me feeling conflicted because Draxum is evil, kidnaps Donnie and mindwipes Donnie to be his protegee of sorts. The story has some sweet moments of Draxum being a dad to Donatello. Draxum started out using Donnie as a tool for wiping out humanity but seems to be caring about him as the story progresses. What sucks is Donatello has no idea who his brothers or Splinter are. His brothers and Splinter show up to rescue him, but Donatello fights them and resists their attempts to help him remember who he is. The author promises a happy ending in the sequel fic meaning Donatello will probably be rescued and regain his memories. There is a nice cast of original characters the author creates that feels like they could have been in the cartoon. This girl called skulltrot on Youtube did a great twenty six minute movie on why Leonardo has an inferiority complex. I think Leonardo was somewhat of a sad clown with all the jokes he was constantly cracking to cover up his deep insecurities. Ok, Baron Draxum is my favorite character but my second favorite character is Donatello . Donatello is so sensitive and sweet. He pretends like he doesn’t need anyone’s approval but he craves approval just as much as his brothers. The episode The Ballad of the Rat Man where Donatello realized Splinter lied to him to use his tank in a demolition derby was a little sad. Donatello thought Splinter wanted to spend quality time with him and that he was finally getting his dad’s approval. Dontaello’s bitter reaction to being used caused Splinter to realize he made a mistake with his adopted son. Splinter apologized to Donatello and told Donatello he wanted to spend time with him. This episode highlighted how Donatello wants approval from Splinter. The purple jacket episode showed how happy Donatello was to get a purple jacket from the purple Dragons group. The jacket was a status symbol of him fitting in with a group of kids he though were cool. Unfortunately, the kids turned out to be evil and had to go to juvenile prison. Donatello also had to sacrifice the jacket by throwing the jacket into the turning fan of one of his crafts so the leader of the purple dragons couldn’t use his tech to take over New York City. The sweet part of this episode was when April told Donatello he may not be part of a group of cool kids but he would always be part of the dorky April friendship club. Donatello stood with April and said he would always want to be part of any club with her. The purple game episode was really well done when showing Donatello to be addicted to gaming. Donatello missing out on going to a once in a life time event with his brothers showed is what does happen to people in real life who are addicted to gaming. These people will miss out on things going on in real life around them. His brothers reading up on gaming addiction and how to help a loved one who is an addict mimics what people do when researching what to do for an intervention. Thankfully, Donatello snaps out playing the game when he realizes his brothers need his help fighting crime.

Despite his many shortcomings, Donatello is shown to be super smart. Interestingly, he does have some of Splinter’s athletic abilities but is the one out of his brother’s to have a really high level of intelligence on par with Draxum. I think and I’m sure I’m not the only one to possibly think this, but Donatello could have gotten his intellect from Draxum. Draxum said he created the turtles with Splinter’s DNA and his ooze. What Draxum’s ooze exactly is, never gets stated in the show. Possibly, Draxum may have added his own blood into the ooze which could have resulted in Donnie being the smart turtle he is. Personally, I think Donatello only got a little bit of Splinter’s DNA and more of Draxum’s ooze which is why his brothers tend to favor Splinter more in terms of athleticism, personality and their appearance. Donatello doesn’t use magic at first in the show and only relies on his science tech. However, he warms up to using magic in the second season. He concludes science and magic aren’t that different. He’s so good at using magic that he could potentially be on the same level as Draxum using alchemy. I would have loved to have seen the show explore more of Donatello and Draxum having a father/son relationship but all I have is fanfiction since the show ended after two seasons.

Thoughts on Donatello shipping: I really cannot ship Donatello with anyone except maybe April. He hung out with April on a one one one basis more than his brothers did. Otherwise, the show mainly focused on the family dynamic he had with his siblings and Splinter. I know some people have written fics where the turtles are shipped together romantically which I don’t care for. The turtles were all raised together as siblings. So, I skip the turtles cest fics and just focus on the fics with the family dynamics being explored.

Baron Draxum is my favorite character in this series. Baron is voiced by John Cena in the first season and Roger Craig Smith in the second season. Draxum was a really interesting villain in the first season. Draxum just wanted to turn all humans into mutants so youkai could live above ground. He was frustrated none of the other youkai supported his scientific experiments. He’s a villain with well extreme intentions of sorts. What I liked about Draxum’s character is that he just wanted to make a difference to help youkai and also wanted to be taken seriously by people. I think that was part of what drove him to be evil at first. He wanted to be in charge, be respected and recognized for what he was doing to attempt helping youkais. In real life, alot of people want to be recognized for whatever hard work they do and to have some respect from someone. Draxum is really relatable in that way. Draxum also has flaws in that he sometimes doesn't pay attention to detail despite how smart he is. An example of this lack of paying attention to detail is how he just accepted what the foot clan said about him being a partner when he joined their ranks. Draxum was doing lowly tasks like fetching the foot clan coffee with Cassandra despite being a so called equal partner. Also, Draxum put on the dark armor without questioning the side effects of what would happen once wearing the metal. As smart as Draxum was, he sometimes didn't think his actions through. Lots of people can be really smart but not think things through. Draxum’s huge problem is that he is obsessed with a prophecy that youkai will be destroyed one day. He naturally assumed humans would be the ones to destroy youkai, given what humans have done to the planet. I didn’t think his guess was unreasonable based on what he has observed of human nature. The prophecy is why Draxum wants to turn humans into mutants. He thinks the world will become a better place for youkai again. However by the end of season one, Draxum realized by helping Shredder get his amour that he had set up the villain that would destroy youkai, humans and the world. Also, his powers got drained by Shredder and he became homeless.

Season two had Mikey one of the turtles set Draxum up with an apartment and a job. Draxum had a really attractive face when his mask come off. I was glad he didn’t get a new mask. My favorite episode in season two was the mystery meat episode. I loved that episode because Draxum had to figure out how to solve a problem without his powers. As he told April, using his powers in his job as the head cafeteria worker made things really convenient for him at keeping the kids in line and cafeteria operating. Who wouldn’t want to use their powers to solve an issue given the chance? However, April and Mikey reminded Draxum that using his powers would get him exposed and thrown in jail. So, Draxum had to think outside the box to defeat the food monster that was causing chaos in the school. He defeated the monster using his mind and human made tools at his disposal. The nice thing about this episode while his award was taken away by the school supervisor, the other cafeteria workers accepted him and told him he was one of them. Draxum seemed really happy since he finally had co-workers who respected him and recognized the hard work he did at the school. He also was shown to like his job since he was the one in charge of the highschool cafeteria. An added bonus was how cute Draxums expression was when he saw the fish stick statue built of him by the school. His eyes watered from how happy he was looking at the replica of himself. The second best episode of season two was part of the bad hair day episode where Draxum and Splinter went with Mikey to the water fountain. I swear Draxum and Splinter fought like they were a divorced couple over their turtle kid Mikey who kept looking at them anxiously. The sweetest moment of that episode was when Draxum apologized to Splinter and Mikey hugged the two of them, saying his wish came true. Later, Draxum became a second father figure to the turtles once he and Splinter worked out their baggage. I would love to see Draxum come back for another series or movie if possible. Review of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie with spoilers

I just watched this movie and was amazed. The movie was alot darker and edgier than the TV show. Draxum and the almost all the yokais were not present in the movie. You have to watch the movie possibly a second time but Big Mama’s corspe is shown in the movie opening. Hypno-potamus and Warren Stone are the only two yokai to briefly appear in the movie. I really liked Leo being the leader of the turtles in this movie. Raph was so stressed being the leader in the T.V show towards the end that I thought one of the other turtles needed to be the leader. Splinter seemed to recognize Raph needed to step down and that Leo had more of the temperament to be the leader. Leo was a big prick not listening to his teammates until Casey gave him the cold hard truth of how everyone dies in the future. Casey and Leo bonded really well over the course of the movie. Casey was so somber and polite for a kid. I think this was due to the bleak future he grew up in. I liked the end of the movie where April was showing him his mom Cassandra as a teenager on his phone. Casey’s expression was so funny to see his mom as a young person. April and Splinter got some good action scenes. I liked Splinter driving around with April. April was able to land hits on one of the villians with a book. As for the villain know as the Kang, the Kang was definitely more of a threat than Shredder ever was. The Kang was just one big oozing hive mind that took over planets/universes and reassembled them the way it wanted to. Splinter’s line about the Kang being a psychopath getting kind of old hit the nail on the head for me. I would have liked a villain that was a little less one dimensional but that was fine. Mikey definitely a got mystical power upgrade through opening up the portal at the end. Donnie’s asking everyone how they would rate their escape experience made me laugh. I also liked the high tech Donnie used throughout the movie. The action, music, and story were really good in this movie. Watch the movie on Netflix if you haven't already.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Baron Draxum and Splinter Fanfiction Stories

I watched two seasons of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles until 4 a.m in the morning. This cartoon is the second reboot to be shown on Nickelodeon. The animation isn’t the best but I really loved the writing and humor for this cartoon. I really followed this cartoon for two characters: Baron Draxum and Splinter/Lou Jitsu. Draxum is a goat yokai/scientist/warrior who wants to see humanity destroyed. He also wants the four ninja turtles to become super solider weapons that will destroy humanity. The dad of the four ninja turtles is Splinter/Lou Jitsu. Splinter used to be a great human warrior/movie star until Draxum turned him into a rat in his lab. Draxum also injected the mutant ninja turtles as babies with Splinter’s DNA. Enraged, Splinter broke free of his prison, broke some lab items (Draxum’s gargoyle minions unintentionally did this as well), resulting in the lab catching fire. With everything going up in flames, Splinter grabbed the ninja turtle babies, fled to the sewers and was not seen again for sometime. Draxum assumed Splinter and the turtles died in the lab fire. He left his old lab with his gargoyle minions and found a new lab. Life went on.

Years passed and the turtles grew up to be teenagers. Draxum met the turtles and realized they along with Splinter must have survived the fire. In the first season, Draxum is either asking the turtles to join him or attempting to kill them when they say no. He and Splinter meet face to face again when Splinter has to rescue his boys from Draxum. Splinter and Draxum fight which results in Splinter losing. Most likely, Splinter would have won if Draxum didn’t have the big armor upgrade which gave him an unfair advantage. Despite losing the fight, Splinter survives and gets to go home with his sons. Draxum on the other hand, loses the armor, his powers due to the samurai ghost Shredder sucking out his life force and the other villains abandoning him.

In season two, Draxum is revealed to be homeless in New York City. He can’t go back to the yokai world because he is a wanted criminal. So, Draxum sits out on the streets as a beggar in the human world. There, Mikey one of the ninja turtles finds him and takes pity on him. Mikey sets Draxum up in a human apartment where April O Neal lives. Miserable, Draxum broods in the apartment wearing a fuzzy bath robe and slippers. With good intentions, Mikey sets up a dinner between Draxum, Splinter, his brothers and April. The dinner is very tense with Splinter bringing up old history of how Draxum turned him into a rat. He also rudely comments on how Draxum could just mutate the dinner potatoes into cream corn since Draxum is obsessed with mutating/experimenting everything. Of course, Draxum bristles at Splinter and Mikey turns the dinner conversation to the idea of taking Draxum to an amusement park.

Later, Mikey, Splinter and Draxum go to an amusement park. Draxum has to go disguised as a teddy bear so the yokai police won’t recognize him. By this point, Draxum is employed as a cafeteria worker in April’s high school. Snidely, Splinter refers to Draxum as an insane scientist and that he should go home in case the spell wears off. Draxum agrees saying he can go back to work but Mikey begs Draxum to stay. Mikey reminds both Splinter and Draxum that he wanted to spend the day with both of them. Reluctantly, the two of them attempt to be pleasant to each other in Mikey’s presence. However, tension boils with Splinter and Draxum making quips at each other behind Mikey’s back.

Annoyed, Draxum asks Splinter what his issues are. Frustrated, Splinter yells at Draxum that his life was ruined when he was turned into a rat. The two engage in hitting each other which results in the magic spell wearing off, revealing Draxum’s true form. Awkwardly, Mikey, Draxum and Splinter have to hide in a dumpster away from the police. Draxum points out Splinter wouldn’t have his kids if he and the turtles hadn’t been mutated. Clenching his fists, Splinter concludes Draxum is right. He wouldn’t have his sons if he hadn’t been turned into a rat and his sons hadn’t been mutated with his DNA. Clearing his throat, Draxum apologizes for experimenting on Splinter without his consent and trying to turn the teenage turtles into weapons. Happily, Mikey hugs both Splinter and Draxum, saying he is happy his two dads are finally getting along. Throughout the rest of season two, Draxum goes on a few outings with Splinter, the turtles and April. No longer do Draxum and Splinter fight, and the two appear to be in a comfortable friendship. The most touching evidence of their relationship at the end of the show is when Draxum attempts to use his powers on the samurai villain Shredder to protect Splinter and the turtles. Draxum looks at Splinter and says: My life was alot easier when I didn’t like your family. What he is saying is true. Life was easier when Draxum only lived for himself and now that he has let Splinter and the turtles into his life, things will never be easy for him again. The rat and the goat yokai started out as enemies. By the end of the show, the two of them had grown to be friends/family.

This is a very touching story of what happens when kids are growing up and parents face becoming empty nesters of sorts.

The story highlights the failed romance of Lou Jitsu and Big Mama the spider yokai. Big Mama is the antagonist in this story. Draxum moves in with Splinter and helps him take care of the ninja turtle kids. The author does a great job of building up the relationship between Draxum and Splinter. There are also fluffy, family moments with the turtle kids.

Thoughts on Big Mama/Splinter pairing: These two were not going to work out. Big Mama and Lou Jitsu met while he was still a human movie star and they dated for awhile. Eventually, Lou Jitsu decides Big Mama is the one for him. Lou Jitsu pulled out an engagement ring, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Her response? She turns into a spider yokai, kidnaps him and throws him in a fighting ring to fight a bunch of other yokai/monsters. In her actions, Big Mama is showing Lou Jitsu she can’t mix business and pleasure. Heartbroken, Lou Jitsu decides he will never fight again and Big Mama throws him in a prison cell. He escapes when Draxum’s gargoyles fly him out to Draxum’s lab. During the show, Big Mama is shown to have kept a picture of her and Lou Jitsu together from when they dated in a dresser drawer. So, she had feelings for him but chose business, money and fame over love. Is she happy with the choice she made all those years ago? My opinion is most likely not and that's why she threw herself into the business of running fighting tournaments. Draxum got the better end of the stick in choosing Splinter and the turtles over fame, power and glory.

Why Draxum and Splinter? I didn’t even think of them as a ship until season two. Both of them had stopped being enemies and seemed to mellow out enjoying each other’s company. Draxum had gotten rid of his warrior mask and armor in favor of his kimono outfit and topknot. His outfit looked very similar to Splinter. Also, Draxum was shown to be wearing a few human outfits such as his cafeteria worker uniform, implying he was becoming more comfortable in the human world. Draxum went on a few outings with Splinter’s family. If more seasons of the show had been made, Draxum possibly would have moved in with Splinter and the turtles. Both of them are fathers who are interested in taking care of the turtles. I think Draxum is ambiguously gay. He isn’t shown to be attracted to Big Mama (who is supposed to have an attractive human form) or any other characters. There is no love life mentioned for him in the show. The closest time there is to Draxum showing any attraction to anyone is when he gets eye sparkles watching human Splinter fight. Of course, Draxum constantly denied being a fan of Lou Jitsu despite watching him fight. Some people may say Draxum just saw Splinter as the perfect lab specimen. He did get eye sparkles when first seeing the turtles. I think this is because Draxum was drawn to the turtles since they are his sons. Draxum was also drawn to Splinter observing him fight but denied his feelings in the name of science, war, glory, etc. Now, science, war, and glory no longer matter to Draxum as much has his relationship with Splinter and the turtles. Splinter still likes Big Mama but she always puts her business first. Eventually, Splinter would get tired of Big Mama’s antics and move unto someone else. Splinter and Draxum getting together would happen slowly and gradually. Heck, I think they would be dating without realizing they are dating. In their later years, Splinter and Draxum would be an old married couple together reflecting on their adventures/fights.
