Trash of the count’s family theories part 2 (contains spoilers from the novel until chapter 696)
So, I already wrote a bunch of stuff a while back about how I thought Cale’s soul belonged to someone from the ancient time who was friend with all of his ancient powers. You can read my theory (incomplete since I wrote it before reaching the 500+ chapters)
I have few more theories that I am pondering now that I am up to date with the current translation (Chapter 696)
 1.     The White Star is not a Thames and their disappearance happened because of something else and not the curse of all his loved one dying.
We know that a reincarnator that takes the body of another soul ends up as a “ sort of twin”. (Chapter 662) I have a theory that Cale was a soul from the ancient time in another tumblr post, so with that theory comes the possibility that he might be a reincarnator that had his memories sealed or changed.
The White Star ended up as a sort of twin of Rok Soo BUT with red hair. My theory is that it happened not because Rok Soo TBOH original body was a Thames, but because the White Star ended up messing with Cale/Rok Soo reincarnation.
A reincarnator (White Star or Cale/Rok Soo) ----˃ took over a body that was being taken by another reincarnator ----˃ pushed one soul in another dimension, pushed the other soul in TBOH.
White star has Korean feature on his face because one of the souls ended up on Earth (Rok Soo). White Star gains his red hair from the other soul who ends up in TBOH (OR:Cale’s soul).
Since the two reincarnators were fated to be born in TOBH but one reincarnator could not take over the body because of the other reincarnator, 1 of the soul ended up on TBOH and the other one ended on Earth.
 2.     Cale’s soul was moved to Earth for another reason than just coincidence. (maybe) and some thoughts about his potential reincarnation
Continuing from theory 1, the soul that should have been in TBOH was Cale/Rok Soo and he was the true soul that belonged in Cale Henituse body, but because of something (perhaps the curse of the White Star that affected him on Earth. Anyway, it looks like it from Cale/Rok Soo’s perspective.) the gods moved the two souls again and sent him on Earth.
I think the why has something to do with Cale/Rok Soo cycle of reincarnation. I think that since Frodo and Solena keeps refering to him as Young Master Naru and his son that Cale’s past reincarnation was actually Naru and that he died. It would have been hard and strange that Frodo managed to convince everyone that he had a son. Like he would have needed to appear along side him a few times in 150 years to make people believe it, no? So, I believed Naru truly existed and that Frodo just exaggerated Naru’s personality (him being friendly and that he did not discriminate people. That does sound like Cale who takes people under his wings from every race).
I think Cale reincarnated and then dies relatively young (like Naru) because of either the hunters or something else like a past Vow of death or the “fate” that Raon felt when Cale got his mother’s AP. I think the fate that Raon felt and got scared was that Cale will now die young since he is getting entangle with his original purpose since he got a time related AP (protecting TBOH or killing the White Star or Sealing the God of despair?). Violan and Deruth know about it since Violan acted weird when Frodo called Cale his son. I think the Thames knew someone from their line and the Henituse line would be “Cale”. After all, the Henituse Motto is essentially Cale’s motto in life. "There is no reason to be recorded in history. Live for peace and happiness instead."
It might be something about memories of his past life triggering something and it could potentially lead to his early death. It could attract the hunters, per example, or the Gods attention. After all, like Frodo wrote under the white star and Cale’s portrait in chapter 541: “Coincidences happening over and over must mean that they were inevitable.”
Here I am just speculating, but when Goldie Gramps met Cale, he asked if Cale was his name and asked if he was from the dragon slayer family. I think that the dragon slayers might have used the name Cale quite often because it was a precious name to Neal Barrow. Why precious? He was one of his comrades that died during the ancient time, but was never recorded because that is what Cale would hate the most. But that is just me speculating really and it has no backing other than the White Star name, Cale Barrow.
Funny thought. The thing is, if Cale is really a reincarnator, then it means that he wouldn’t have needed to stab his heart with the World Tree Root to kill the White Star if he was older than the White Star which he would be if he was from the ancient times.
 3.     Raon’s attribute “Present” will be used to bring some people from the past into the present for some time.
I think that Raon’s attribute can make for an epic finally. We know that Cale will be known as the beginning and the end. I think that he will gain his memories from all his past life at one point (maybe when he stabs his heart since he gets stronger after that). Then, during the final fight, Raon will use his power on Cale who will bring all of the memories of his past friend in the battlefield (in the “present”). Cale will act as the commander of all of them. That means that we might be able to see his ancient power in flesh. (You can read my other theory on my blog about Cale’s soul being from the ancient time and an old friend of his current ancient powers. He is the “beginning” (he started the rebellion against the ancient white star in the ancient time perhaps?) and the “end” (present time)) That would be an epic battle.

Theory time : Trash of the count’s family
As usual, it’s pretty long.
And I don’t think I ever got a theory right. So if you don’t want to read a lot, skip it. Spoiler until chapter 480 of the light novel and a few things that I was spoiled. (I know, I still have a long way to go with 700+ chapter having been released, but the idea just kept coming back in my head and I was trying to not work on other things. So, I procrastinate to write this and to flee the tiny humans visiting who wanted to keep playing with me until exhaustion.)
Theory: Cale Henituse aka Kim Rok Soo ‘s soul/ heart is someone from the ancient time.
Why? There are a few things that caught my attention while reading the first 480 chapter.
I first thought about it because the ancient powers’ behaviour surprised me a little.
1.      The little hints in the ancient powers
               a.      The way the ancients power saved the “water of judgment”.  They burned a whole area in the North, created an epic mess and saved/ freed someone in the process. When I read about that crazy plan, I thought: that is something Cale would do. And the more I thought about it, the more I am certain Cale would have done something like that had he lived in that time. Create a big mess to save someone.
            b.      The ancient powers personalities. Don’t they seem like crazy people that would gather around Cale had they lived in the present time? Also, Cale kept wondering if the Cobblestone was human since he killed so many monster in the tunnel between the two continent next to his villa. But if the ancient powers were not all human, it would parallel Cale present time where he befriends so many different races that look up to him. And while they worked together to save the water ancient power, they seemed to have split later on since they all died alone and they did not all seem to be friends.
                                          i.     It made me think of another theory, if the one person (Cale original self per example) they gathered around together died or disappeared (Cale is the heart of the group in this present time too), it wouldn’t surprised me that they would split. And that would kinda explain why the fight was so complicated that all evil and all heroes died if the strategist had died beforehand and that the core members had died while branching out.
               c.      The way the scary cobblestone kept asking: do you want to sacrifice yourself. Now we know that he wasn’t doing it to scare him (well maybe a little), but because he was worried and wanted to protect him. But what if he was asking and being worried because he and the other power knew his self-sacrificial tendencies from back in the days (and that they failed to protect him maybe)?
              d.      Cale can hear the ancient power while others who have ancient powers don’t. It was said that it was because the power didn’t fuse with him properly, but it might have been a subconscious choice from him. Cale also chose to not to fuse with them to keep hearing them. The reason could be because while he doesn’t remember them, he subconsciously didn’t want to lose them again.
                e.      The reason Cale was so lucky to find all five ancient powers could be because they all wanted to be found by him. Why? To protect him. They were all on the same side of the war. None of the powers are the ones that the white star or his subordinate had. I know most of them came from the Birth of a hero book from Nelan Barrow but (SPOILERS that I found out that happens later in the series, be warned, 600+ chapter ?) it was said that the current god of Death could be the first Choi Aka Nelan Barrow. He was also part of the group of heroes from that time since he was the only survivor of the last battle because he was protected by the Scary cobblestone. If he had known about the original Cale, he could have written about them for Cale to find because he knew they would have wanted to protect him. Remember that some ancient powers in the book were mentioned, but never claimed. That itself is pretty weird unless it was on purpose. And Nelan Barrow might have written down only the powers that he knew that Cale had met, if he had met the ancient power after they had split since I don’t think they say at what time exactly he arrived in ancient time. It could be before, in, or after the war.
               f.       The world tree hint. Chapter 172 I think : “There were people like you whom I could not see their pasts nor futures. I could only see tiny glimpses of their near future.” And later. “– The owners of the ancient powers were just like you. I could not see them. (…) I couldn’t see through the arsonist nor the rock for brains.”
 2.      Cale ability “record”.  I have a theory that the ability people awakened in his version of Earth are things or power that they either consciously or subconsciously wanted. Like his team leader embrace that stem from his desire to become an actor in the past. The ability to “record”, thus remember things, might stem from him subconsciously wanting to remember people in this time since he forgot (because of reincarnation probably) his past life (or lives).
 3.      The Henituse motto. "There is no reason to be recorded in history. Live for peace and happiness instead." The key word here is “recorded”. Knowing Cale’s ability, this sentence hits differently. What if the Henituse family had ties to Cale’s earlier life (ves?) ? Or was created by him at one point in time if he had more than one incarnation? It’s an old, selfless noble family that ended up protecting people from the forest of darkness while quietly living their life. The motto is essentially how Cale wishes he could live. I always thought it was fishy when I read it. The first incarnation of Cale may or may not have had the record ability though, but may reflect Cale’s desire not to known as a hero or recorded as one. However, the two sentences still hold true to what Cale wants and desire, especially if he lived in the troubled/war time that was the ancient times.
 4.      The birthday conundrum. It seems the Choi of the past and present and Kim Rok Soo share the same birthday. It might be the “link” that allowed the Choi and Cale to transmigrated into the birth of a hero world. But I wondered something else, what if (Spoilers again like earlier, so 600+ chapter spoilers that I saw online) the link was more subtle or emotional. If the first Choi, Nelan Barrow, chose that day, his own birthday, to incarnate people to protect someone. Kim Rok Soo friend, the nephew of Choi Han, ended up dying to protect Kim Rok Soo. Choi Han is currently acting as Cale’s sword. Nelan Barrow, possibly the god of death, is using Kim Rok Soo to save the world, maybe 2 worlds since he was also a hero on Earth.  Anyway, the God of death seems like a complicated story that will get worse as it goes on.
 5.      Cale’s aura. The fact that people keep mistaking him for dragons/demons/some sort of other being. He could be related to the gods or be a divine race, or just a human favored by nature (and possibly his past friends that had a close affinity to nature such as the ancient powers). It points toward the fact that Cale is someone special in any case.
 6.      SPOILER Chapter 600+. Cale’s mother from the Thames family has a time/fate? Ancient power. The Thames family also gathered information about transmigrator and the sort. So there is definitively something going on on that side that has yet to be revealed.
 7.      Raon power is the present. It sounds like a strange power and, as of chapter 481, he hasn’t really used it yet. I kept wondering why he had that power. But if Cale’s time is related to the past, maybe Raon is going to be needed to secure is time in the present or something of the sort. But I feel like his power is a clue to the events to come.
 8.      Cale time is warped according to the white star. That itself doesn’t say much, but (SPOILER Chapter 600+ that I saw) Original Cale had not his time warped apparently. I am wondering if it’s because Kim Rok Soo transmigrated or if it’s actually because it’s is soul/heart that is from the ancient time.
 9.      Cale/Kim was supposed to die, but didn’t according to the god of death. His friend from Earth weren’t supposed to die, it seems. Kim Rok Soo was supposed to die, but it was never cleared when he was supposed to die. It could mean that he was supposed to die in the past, the ancient time kinda past. Yet, he is here now. I also find it weird that his past team leader on Earth took the time to explain to him, he who can remember everything, how is special ability, Embrace, work when it was not standard to talk about them. I also wonder a lot about him since he was the first one to find Kim Rok Soo and that he was one of the first to develop an ability, but that’s off topic.
Well, that’s all I could think off.
I’ll keep reading the novel when I get more time and probably think how a fool I was to write this. Bah, Tumblr is the land of fools. It would not be the first time I am completly wrong about something. And this novel is pretty good at being hard to predict.

I like it! I had similar thoughts about Five getting brainwashed. And I really like the idea that in season 3, they need to save him, after the first two season being about him saving them By only issues are 1- can’t Allison undo it pretty easily? And 2- it would mean he’s away from the rest of the main cast for a good portion of the season. But, It could just be a one or two episode arc and not something that happens all season.
First time trying to reply to a comment. So sorry if I mess it up. Umbrella Academy comic book spoilers ahead (I finally got them! :) )
1. (comic spoiler) There is some difference between Allison’s power and the sparrow girl power. In the comic, Vanya is in rehabilitation to learn how to walk again. Grace says to Allison that she could rumor her and Allison replies that her power doesn’t work like that (Hotel Oblivion, part 1 of 7). BUT the sparrow girl just kinda orders Vanya to walk and she does ( Hotel Oblivion, part 5 of 7) . So, we still don’t know the extent of what they can or cannot do or undo. Allison may not be able to undo the brainwashing after it is done. Hard to tell with so little information on their powers.
2. He doesn’t need to be completely cut off from the main group. The comic Hotel Oblivion has supervilains. So the two groups might just encounter each other quite frequently in season 3 playing heroes. But I agree that I don’t want it to be too long, an arc at most.
Fun speculations theories for The Umbrella Academy mostly the tv series (includes spoilers from both seasons and potentially the comic) They are for fun, not to be taken seriously by any means. (written August 2020)

Fun speculations theories for The Umbrella Academy mostly the tv series (includes spoilers from both seasons and potentially the comic) They are for fun, not to be taken seriously by any means. (written August 2020)
Quick summary of the theories for those who don’t want to read with more explanations below.
1.     Five will join the sparrow academy.
2.     There will be a fight for “Time” at the end.
 First theory.
Why would Reginald want Five back in the group? Easy.
1.     Five’s power is incredibly versatile to include in a team. Add a scene where Five discuss his first (spoilers last ep. Season 2) rewind with Reginald to thank him for the advice. That alone would increase his interest in him. I also think he might want to prevent the apocalypse on his own planet. Anyway lots of potential.
2.     Five is the only TUA member that Reginald that he didn’t seems to despise or find annoyingly stupid. (We all can relate to that, I think. That diner scene was marvelous.)
3.     To have 7 members in the sparrow academy. That one is a bit my own interpretation. That cube. Nope. I really don’t want it to be a member of the sparrow academy, maybe a guardian figure like Pogo at worst, but I want it to be an extension of one of the kids power. Like a technological based power. If the cube is out, that means the 7th spot is free. Five could take it.
Other reasons:
1.     Foreshadowing. His name is still a number. Probably going to fit perfectly with the sparrow academy since they didn’t have a Grace mom to name them.
2.     That would increase conflict between the two teams like crazy and keep TUA stuck in that timeline for a while.
How would that happen? A rumor-like power like the one Allison has (comic spoiler from what I could find online) is also seen in the sparrow academy. A power that alter reality like that could be easy to use to brainwashed Five into thinking that his Family is the Sparrows not the Umbrellas. Easy peasy.
Now imagine Five in the Sparrow academy. That would be a hell of a ride.
The smol angry psychopathic family-obsessed old man with a bunch of kids who likely never had any kind of love or support and that probably do not see each other as family.
In a way, Five is like a glue that brings the TUA siblings together. He would act the same with the sparrow kids. That over aggressive love is what the sparrows needs. Like they might brush him off at first, but unlike most TUA Five would never back down. Bonus points if he act with one sparrow kids like he does with Vanya, (infinite bonus point if he does that with all sparrow kids), giving them advice during training (he is a pro assassin after all) and support and maybe even stand up for them to Reginald.
… And imagine the TUA sibling being sooooo pissed off that Five act like a softy while he was a meanie to them with Vanya hiding in a corner saying oops when she realises he was nicer to her and her alone.
 Second theory.
The moment Five said  “Time changes everything”, I was hooked on the character and the possibility of what it could mean. Five is the one who says that in episode 5 and I just love the potential implications of that sentence because he could be referring to himself. The unchanging Five stuck in a teenage body, never changing his name, not even his clothes. He is basically turning into “Time” itself, changing timelines every single time he jumps. His first time travel changed everything for the remaining member of the TUA creating fractures in the group. Subsequent time travels influence greatly the events that unfolded afterward.
Ending
And all good time travel plots end with a fight for Time. In this case, Time would be our adorable assassin Five. If Five powers increases and him becoming more time, I can see him be captured by bad guys (Alien? Reginald? One of the other 43 kids? The sparrow academy rogue?) either brainwashed or being used in one way or another to control time. (ex: controlled but not brainwashed by another 43 kids, being a component of a time machine that supply him with power, etc. Anything goes.) With all his siblings fighting for him (might include the sparrow kids if the 1st theory happens)
Imagine the potential. The TUA struggling to save him. Five bonding with the villain with how incompetent they are at saving him. The villain agreeing (A “you had it rough”, kinda speech). Five’s power going berserk and fast forwarding individual fights and slowmoing others fights in a chesslike mosaic. Even rewinding fights. Like I am completely sure the production team could pull off something epic. They already are.
And then someone finally reaches Five. Would like Vanya since she was always the cause of the apocalypse and with how close they are. The ending could be five choosing a timeline that is good for them and jumping.
That was long. Hope you enjoyed it. I’m just throwing it out there because it was all I was thinking the past few days and I needed to move on. haha. Now off to work on other projects.

Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba): What I wish would happen (chapter 175 and under spoilers)
As a heads up. I am new to the series. This is just MY HOPES AND DREAMS. Nothing really serious. Oh, and this is my first time writing something on tumblr so I might delete the post depending if I like it or not.
One of my fave is the adorable Mist Pillar. For those not having seen the latest chapters spoiler: He was really shred to pieces and won’t survive that unless something happens. However, I believe he will die and that this post will be just my delusions.
Why I wish Muichirou would survive:
·       He is a descendant of the first breath users, well of Koku. That would put him in a place where he needs to finish what his ancestors had started with the almost killing of Muzan and make amend for Koku’s deeds.
·       He was relentlessly scouted by Oyakata-sama’s wife to join the order
·       His brother dying word were quite touching: you are a chosen one, the mu means infinity. Dying “as a chosen one” (arguably being a pillar or something more) in such a lame way would be disappointing to me.
·       He has a great parallel with Tanjirou (water-based breath, breath of the sun potential hinted, really young and badass, flamey ancestor, but those could be death flag too) and their relationship is just too great. Looking at you, pillar training arc. 😊
·       His ancestor Koku notice his potential even though he is so young and really wanted to make him a demon. Like really, that would have been an interesting thing to do.
·       He made his blade red when he was dying. Big hint of Breath of the sun. I know the wind and stone pillar did too, but that was when both weapons touched. Muichirou did it alone and when almost dead.
What will likely happen the next few chapters with the assumption that koku is deadish. I kinda want him to with them mentioning the red metal.
·       Himejima will leave to reach Muzan. Sanemi and Gyomei are wild cards if they join him. Either/or can die at this point. They were badly injured after all.
·       The crow will announce Koku’s and Muichirou’s death and if there is some other. Or the announcement of Muichirou’s death might be delayed and Tanjirou may only hear it from Himejima later. Who knows. That will lead to Tanjirou’s emotional power up. Muichirou and him were close-ish after-all and he is younger than him, that will hurt him deep in his heart as an older brother who couldn’t protect his younger siblings.
Now what I wish would happen. There is no basis for this. Just my delusion that maybe Muichirou can survive this arc and live happily with his friend Tanjirou. I might headcanon this when the series end with my heart crushed.
·       While the remaining pillars goes to fight, Koku will reflect on what his brother said in chapter 175, how even if they can’t teach people right now, that someone down the line will surpass them.
·       With that, Koku will make Muichirou’s warm body drink some of his blood. His upper half body is conveniently hanging by a sword on his stomach so that would be easy.
·       Muichirou become partially a demon, enough the regenerate. Breath users need a few days to become demons (chapter with Kaigoku)
·       Koku’s last action will teach his descendant the breath of the sun as Muichirou has shown he can somewhat use it when his blade turned red. This will make Koku have peace with what his brother was saying about legacy.
·       Now I don’t want him to go full demon so I wish he would meet Nezuko awake either in the hallway going to help his friend, maybe save her from demons or in the middle of the fight with Muzan and she would let him drink some of her blood that still has some medicine in it.
·       Muichirou will join the battle against Muzan when all hope is lost. It would start with the presence of mist in the background and him jumping in at a crucial moment.
·       Now a tag team battle of sun of the breath user, Muichirou and Tanjirou (with or without Nezuko fighting, though I believe she will be important and might create the flames for both of their swords.) This will end their ancestors failed struggles with Muzan.
