Day "Who Cares"
So a meeting with my nutritionist/dietician today.
She informed me to make sure I take care of my emotional bandwidth, in other words not stress about everything at once. I have had a lot going on since my second first appointment on the 5th December 2022, that date is grained into me as its the day my Dad died.
My Step Son moved in with myself and my Husband just before the Easter Weekend and as you'd imagine its effected our routines all round however I would say for the best. He is very big into the vegetables I love so makes it more beneficial for me to buy them. He is also starting Karate, and even though I don't want to go back to the sport I am very happy to help him at home so I am exercising that way.
I have also completed two cold swims which were very nice, cold as hell like but very nice.
I am going to try and learn to reduce Carbs in my diet as they do rule me alot. I did tonight want something sweet so settled for frozen grapes something i learnt from Strongman Brian Shaw. It helped!
I plan to try and reduce my portion sizes as my food choices are not particularly un healthy its just lack of movement and portion control.
We shall see how this goes...

Day 34
Today I had Body Coach Overnight oats with fruit for breakfast.
Lunch was tandoori chicken salad, had a morning snack of some fridge raiders and a cheese stick.
We have been swimming, done 20 lengths of the 25m pool.
Had another small pack of fridge raiders for my after work out snack.
Dinner was Moroccan Chicken with Green Beans and Lemon and Coriander Cous Cous.

Day 33
Started today with my Peach Tea Collagen drink and then my watermelon Isolate. For Breakfast I had 1 piece of toast with 30g of cheese on it, splash or Worcestershire sauce. In addition some melon and 2 chopped chicken sausages.
Lunch was a weight watches recipe for a prawn cocktail and I had some melon as well.
Snack was a Protein Fruit Smoothie and later on a ham sandwich.
My dinner was Body coach recipe for Creamy Mushroom Chicken and I added Spinach and 50g of microwave rice.
Finished this off with another Isolate but in Strawberry and Kiwi flavour.

Day 32
So this is my food today, I got myself some cute plates, I got the idea off of TikTok. I am hoping this helps with the portion control.
I started the day with two poached eggs, 1 Asparagus stalk, handful of spinach and one and half sausages and a small medallion of bacon.
Lunch consisted of some Tandoori Chicken Pieces I had left over from my meal out last night, some Bell Pepper, Cucumber and Cherry Tomatoes with Mint and Yogurt dip and some Melon.
For my dinner I have had a fillet of cod with dill and lemon butter, some coconut rice and 4 stalks of asparagus and green beans.
Not bad if i do say so myself. TTFN!

Day 31
So on Friday we had our healthy Lifestyle Coach appointment and this I thought went really well. She said we seem to be in the right frame of mind and that we have put in place many great things. She would like us to exercise more however we are going swimming which I enjoy way more than walking.
When she weighed me I was really surprised as the last time I got weighed I had put some weight on. But this time I had lost weight and I am now at 158.5 which since December 5th I have lost 1.9kg. this is pretty good going since I only really started eating healthier at the beginning of June..
This weekend has been spent doing a online conference and we have been able to go out for meals in the evening, this is a big stresser to me and when given so much choice I do not always make the right decision. I did have Pasta last night but ordered chips as well maybe I shouldn't but I didn't eat them all.
Tonight I will look online and probably chose before we go.
Anyway ttfn, ta ta for now!

Day 27
So today has been difficult, I’ve had my collagen and my Whey Isolate and my Overnight oats, I had a snack of cherries. I had a chicken sausage wrap with loads of salad stuff with a cottage cheese dressing. I only had one of these as the protein wraps I had kept falling apart.
I went to get a skinny caramel latte and while there had a bacon roll. I thought as I hadn’t eaten a lot that would be okay. Got home, had a rest and made our tea a Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice, a Body Coach Recipe, I added spinach for a little extra. I’d made it too spicy for me and had to add extra yogurt. While doing this I ate about 8 slices of ham. Telling myself it’s protein, but we all know I shouldn’t have but alas I did. I have had an ice lolly which was nice but still craving something I have had my second Whey Protein Isolate of the day. I am hoping this helps the craving. Along with watching the third season of The Witcher!!!

Day 25
Managed to go swimming today, did 20 lengths in 45 minutes. Pretty proud of that considering I am a terrible swimmer. Hopefully going tomorrow too, if I can just exercise twice a week moderately I will be pretty happy.
Now my hairs shorter makes the drying off stage after so much easier 😊

Day 23
So we are on day 23, so far I've lost 1kg and then put some of it back on so i am only about 0.7kg down. Which to be honest I am not completely happy about but its a loss.
I have been eating pretty good, had a few treats, like today I had a subway but not what I would normally have. Thats pretty big for me. I have been eating overnight oats from the body coach for some of my breakfasts and then rest of the time I have been eating a lot of eggs, asparagus, mushrooms etc.
On the exercise front, so far I haven't done much as I have been ill with a horrific cold and cough but me and husband are starting this soon. I want to go swimming instead of the gym. I feel this might be the best exercise to ease me in to working out on a regular basis.
Anyway, I will update again later. I don't like doing this all the time as I feel reviewing my progress everyday can be bad for my metal health.
