What better way to fulfil her hopes and dreams than to enlist one of his best mates to be his boyfriend, and spend the entire holiday with him and his family? Enter one Remus John Lupin, the poor sod who’s just as lonely, and, due to circumstance, completely free to be whisked away for the weekend.

All jokes aside though, I’m actually quite proud of this fic. Not only is it fully edited by the amazing @lairyfights but it’s also the first multichapter fic I’ve successfully written and finished (I mean 20K!? It may not seem like a lot compared to other fics, but it’s rather impressive to me). I’m so grateful to everyone who’s pushed me to continue writing; this fic is what it is because of you. I can officially say I’ve completed the boss level haha

And to you, my dear, my James irl, this is my gift to you.

Excerpt from my Jegulus WIP

“James!” Sirius’ voice cut through the party noise like a warm knife through butter, and James was up and out of his seat before the last syllable had left Sirius’ mouth.

James ran, pushing people aside with half-muttered apologies, weaving through the makeshift dance floor and into the entryway. The journey was all but thirty seconds, but to James it felt like hours before he reached Sirius, who was sitting half in, half out of the doorway, legs pointing towards the porch stairs.

For one brief moment, James thought Sirius had fallen and seriously hurt himself, but in the next second, James realised that there was someone else slumped in Sirius’ lap.

“He passed out,” Sirius stuttered. “Before he could say anything… James, help.”

James dropped to his knees to assess the damage. From what he could see, there was no blood, no bruises, and no obvious broken bones. Gingerly, he lifted the head resting on Sirius’ shoulder. His hair was shorter than his older brother’s, his skin slightly more pale. But the haughty features and slim frame were identical.

“Regulus,” James whispered. “What the fuck?”

Introduction

Hiya!

I’m lairyfights and this blog is dedicated to Harry Potter fan fiction (mostly Drarry, Jegulus, and Wolfstar).

For now, I will be posting fic recs in images, and I’ve organised a key to make understanding them a bit easier.

The speech/thought bubble indicates whose POV the fic is in (through colour coding as above) and contains the word count. If the fic switches POV, then the bubble will be black or white. 

Character traits are also colour coded as above and sit beside the relevant character.

If there’s any confusion let me know and I’ll add to this list!

I am also working on my own Jegulus fic. It’s a modern Muggle AU. I’m currently looking for alpha and beta readers, so hit me up if you’re keen.
