”Norge blir väl ändå inte topp 6 ändå?”
”Nä, Strömsheim är nia. Dåligt.”
”Norway won’t end up top 6 right?”
”Well no, Strömsheim is 9th. Bad.”

Headcanon 14
Tolkien said Celeborn eventually sailed to Valinor and “with him went the last living memory of the Elder Days in Middle Earth.”
This means that Tom Bombadil, Treebeard and all the others must have died. I imagine Celeborn sitting with them, each in turn, bearing witness to their passing. When the last one (in my head it’s Treebeard) had gone, the song of the Earth finally ceased completely and only the shell of the trees, rivers and mountains remained.
That’s when it was time to set sail.

To the Arda elves arriving in Valinor, the people there often seem like children and they can’t decide whether to be envious or not.

“I cannot match you.”
You look at him, stunned. He is not diminished by what he just said, as others would have been and have been. He did not have to think about it, you realize, did not have to allow himself to say that. He simply said it, and so proved himself to be either incredibly superior or incredibly pathetic.

When Celeborn finally, finally, arrives in Aman, Galadriel is not the first person he seeks out.
It’s Celebrían. Of course it is.

Headcanon 7
Celeborn was but seven years old when his village was slaughtered. His mother and many others were never found. Today, he knows why.
He was the only survivor, for he had slunk away to see Oromë the Huntsman, and to give his horse an apple to eat.
For all the well-known memory of the Firstborn, he remembers only the horse.
