He is a Formula 1 racing star with a number of driving accolades. 

And Lewis Hamilton proved that he has an eye for fashion when he attended the 2019 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday.

The British sportsman, 34, caught the eye in a black suit flaunting a silver zig-zag design and matching trousers. 

He added more drama with a white cravat around his neck that was adorned with two diamond brooches from Alex Soldier Brooches. 

Surprisingly it wasn't his unusual outfit that caught people's attention, it was the woman missing from his arm.

For the last 3 years, the Formula 1 star arrived alongside his actress and model wife, Y/N Y/L/N. It was a shock to all who attended and watched from their couches at home to learn that the Prada Brand Ambassador and Met Gala royalty wouldn't be making an appearance this year.

Y/N hasn't missed a year of the Met since her break from the spotlight back in 2015 and even that was too much for us. Each year she is among the most talked about and anticipated looks of the show.

We can only pray that our style queen returns next year with her hunk of a husband to steal the show yet again!

St. Moritz has been a famous health resort in Engadine since the 19th century. At first, it was only frequented by spa guests, before the village developed into a high alpine sports centre, and for a time it was a playground for the rich and famous. There’s still some of that element present but not as in its hey day of the 70s. For nine months of the year it’s just another picturesque village in the gorgeous Swiss Alps, with Lake St. Moritz lying at its heart.

Crucially it is quietly forgotten by the outside world. Residents can breathe and go about their daily chilled out lives. For those precious nine months it was great to hike and ski there as my boarding school wasn’t too far away from getting there. But the other four months of the year, the high season, it gets flood with skiers and altogether more showy crowd.

The frozen surface of the lake, which can only be described as a desert of snow, now serves as a symbol of the resort itself. From nine months of natural bliss to four months of chaos and madness. Every time the ice lends its surface to polo tournaments, horse races, and the wealthy and beautiful make the pilgrimage down the mountains from their grand hotels, St. Moritz seems to transform. St. Moritz’s newest ‘gimmick’ for the past three years or so has been to serve the International Concours of Elegance St. Moritz - or The ICE St. Moritz - as a kind of classic car museum with an adventurous character.

Since the first ever The ICE St. Moritz in 2019, historic rally cars have been exhibited to the sports car-crazy public on the opening day, before demonstrating their horsepower on the ice racetrack on the second day of the event. However, the fact that The ICE is taking place on Lake St. Moritz, of all places, is no coincidence. In 1985, a group of Scottish and British sportsmen drove their vintage Bentleys to St. Moritz to celebrate the centenary of the Cresta Run (an eccentric and high spirited toboggan amateur race). As part of the festivities, they drove their cars on the racecourse across the frozen Lake St. Moritz.

This year, however, the ICE St. Moritz evolved slightly differently. For the first time, the event was held on two days: Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February. On the first day, the lake was transformed into an open-air museum, where the jury evaluated the cars on display from an aesthetic perspective. Then, on the second day, the actual race took place, whereupon the jury evaluated the classic cars from a performance perspective.

This year there were five category winners. In the ‘Open Wheels’ category, the 1958 Maserati 420M/58 “Eldorado” held its own. Meanwhile, the ‘Barchettas on the Lake’ category crowned the Ferrari 500 Mondial Series II from 1955 as the winner. My personal favourite, the aforementioned Ferrari 250 Testarossa ‘Lucybelle’ emerged as the winner in the ‘Le Mans 100’ category. As expected, Lancia Strato’s HF Zero of 1970 came out on top in the ‘Concept Cars & One Offs’ category. Last but not least, judges crowned the 1958 Bentley S1 Continental Drophead Coupé as the winner of the ‘Queens on Wheels’ category.

The evening gala took place at Badrutts Palace, which towers over the city like a castle with its high stone walls. In the stimulating semi-darkness and under shimmering candlelight, riders, collectors, enthusiasts, the public and media from all over the world celebrated the conclusion of one of the most anticipated competitions in the Engadine. Overall it’s spectacular fun and contrary to what one might believe it really does draw the car enthusiast crowd rather than the snob mob. It’s a very chilled event and bags of fun.

The FIA gala was usually an incredible event, where some of the best drivers in the world came together for one night and celebrated the season they just had, regardless of the category or outcome. Y/n Y/l/n was one of these drivers. Since making headlines back in 2019 for being the first female driver in the series since Giovanna Amati in 1992. After what she saw two very successful seasons in Toro Rosso, she got a call up to Red Bull to replace her old teammate, Alex Albon. Since then, she's won Grand Prix, gotten pole, and had numerous podiums.

Here she found herself with a glass of prosecco in front of her, smiling in case a camera suddenly lands on her. She looked around, seeing a good few members of her team surrounding her all deep in conversation. Y/n smiled, sipping her drink. Suddenly, she felt a soft pair of lips on her cheek. She turned to the tipsy dutchman beside her, a smile on his face too, his arm around the top of her seat. She felt her cheeks heating up and she quite frankly wasn't able to speak. "Really packing on the PDA tonight, aren't we Max?" He laughed and looked to the ground. "What was that for?" She asked. "For what you have done for me all season. You seriously helped me. Couldn't have won it without you." She chirped. "I would say the same for you But, you know, Brazil." Max chuckled. "I said sorry, I don't know how many more times I have to say it." He scooted closer. "Until I apologise. Or until you apologise in a way I deem fit." He took a deep breath in. "Not tonight. Kelly." He whispered. "Yeah, I'd hate for her to find this out." She replied sarcastically, finishing the rest of her prosecco and setting the empty glass to the table. "Oh come on. It isn't hurting anybody. This is just me getting back at her." He grinned, lifting his crystal glass of whiskey to his lips and sipping gently. Y/n clenched clenched her jaw and stood up abruptly.

"Well sorry to burst your bubble Max-" She stooped enough to whisper into Maxs ear. "But don't use me as fire for your argument. It's not right." He looked at her confused. "I don't know why this is a problem now considering we started this during testing." He lay back in his seat, confident and cocky as ever. His legs were parted and his arm stayed rested on Y/n's chair while the other lay lazily on his lap. "It's not a problem now, it has been a problem since it started. Its toxic, its so fucking stupid." She walked on through the tables, not daring to look at anyone, that was until she bumped into someone. She looked up and saw Geri, Christians wife, smiling. The smile soon dropped to a look of concern as she saw the young drivers face. "You alright darling?" She asked. "Yeah, just not feeling good. That's all." She reassured her, walking away and out into the hallway. She fought the urge to cry, the urge growing with each step she took not being pursued by Max. It was wrong, yes, but it meant he loved her in some way.

"Y/n." She turned and saw the dutchman following her. She didn't in fact like this, it felt wrong, horrible even. His girlfriend sat in there and he's following his mistress. "Oh fuck off." She said pulling away from him, or at least tried. It was stopped as Max pushed back and the door swung open, hitting the wall and breaking a part of it, pulling Y/n in with him. "The fucking wall!" She shouted. "I'll worry about it later!" He shouted back. If anyone were to see this, it would be pure chaos. "Why the fuck are you following me?!"

"Shut up, someone might hear you-"

"Just....fuck....off!"

"Not until you listen to me!" Silence ensued after that. Neither of them knew what to say. "I'm not doing this right now. People will talk if I end up doing what you think is going to happen." Y/n mumbled. "How would they know? We've hid it so well these past year." Her stomach curdled at the thought of this being a thing since testing. Almost half of his relationship with his current girlfriend was unfaithful with Y/n. She didn't know if there was anyone else other than her, but she wouldn't put it past him. "They'll figure it out. Two Red Bull drivers who are rarely ever seen not together sneak off, are heard having an argument in the hallway outside of one of an FIA gala, where and one of the drivers pushed the door through the cleaning closet and brought the her with him." Maxlooked away from her to think about it for a moment. "Well when you put it like that."

"Is that all you have to say? When you put it like that? Is this just a joke?" She asked. "Listen, I love you. I really, really love you, but I can't leave Kelly. She shows that I can commit to something. And having a nice family to go back to really helped me. I needed this and I need her. I love her too." Y/n crossed her arms and shook her head, before she moved his hands. "If you can't leave her, then stop knocking on my door in the middle of the night when she isn't around." He let out a sigh. "If you love her, if you can't leave her, at least be respectful." She paused. "I don't like her but she at least deserves the bare minimum, Max."

"I know. And you deserve the world." She groaned. "This is the problem! You're complimenting me! Stop it! That's how we even got into this mess." His brows scrunched in confusion. "You know, at the car launch. You said I kinda looked good. Then you like took me away from the crypto currency weirdos, we got a bottle of champagne from one of the drink tables and we sat at the top of the hotel. You said something about the lights being sparkly. Or was it twinkly?" Max chuckled at her recollection of the memory. "That's when I even contemplated-" She stopped. "When you contemplated what?" Max asked gently. "Contemplated kissing you I think." Silence fell again. They both wanted one another badly, but both equally knew how bad this would turn out if they didn't end this right here, once and for all. "So is this a farewell?" Max asked. He looked sad. She had never seen him look so disappointed in all the time she's known him. "It's hardly farewell. We always have to see eachother for work."

"Well that is true. I think we have to be more professional towards eachother though. Cut out the flirting." He said, his hands deep in his pockets, clenched. "No more loving glances. Secret rendezvous. Nothing romantic anymore." She added. "It'll be weird, but it has to be done. Doesn't it?" He mumbled. "Yes. Unfortunately."

"Well, I'll see you at work." He smiled, reaching his hand out to shake hers. She smiled a melancholic smile back and took his hand, in turn, the dutchman pressed a soft kiss onto the top of it and set it back down. "I should go." He said. "You should." In his head, Max had a response for her last words. "I can't. I can't. I can't." He repeated in his head, before he just decided to open the closet door and leave. He walked back inside as if nothing had happened, went to kiss his girlfriend on the cheek and sit down for the rest of the evening, while Y/n followed pursuit shortly and sat across from them. Nothing happened.

Nothing happened...

Both of them would have kept this a secret and would have not told anybody about this, but soon, with photos of them both going into the closet and coming back out again, both also looking equally flustered, they would have to face the world on what this could possibly be...

A fashion designer is going viral after alleging that beleaguered former Department of Energy official and “gender fluid” activist Sam Brinton stole her suitcase and was photographed wearing the custom clothing she had inside the luggage.

Asya Idarous Khamsin, a Tanzanian fashionista from Texas, took to Twitter on February 20 to explain that her suitcase had been stolen from Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. almost 5 years ago. Khamsin says the stolen baggage contained a number of custom-made outfits she had designed herself, and, after hearing about Brinton’s chronic luggage theft, had looked him up out of curiosity. 

Shockingly, Khamsin uncovered a number of photos of Brinton wearing clothing she identified as being her creations.

While the thread has just gone viral on Twitter this week, Khamsin first tried to bring attention to Brinton’s alleged thievery in December of 2022 when she made an Instagram video showing Brinton wearing her pieces.

In her Twitter thread, posted two days ago, she shared additional images of Brinton with side-by-sides of the clothing she had taken at other points in time.

One photo Khamsin provided showed a model walking a runway in a stunning yellow and gold dress, one which bears a design that looks impossibly similar when compared to outfits Brinton has been seen wearing in 2018 and 2019. 

The gold crescent pattern on the fabric appears on many of Khamsin’s designs from her 2018 fashion show, Lady In Red.

Brinton had been photographed wearing at least two of the pieces suspected to have come from Khamsin’s luggage at the 2018 Trevor Project gala in New York City.

Shocked and appalled, social media users began digging through photos of Brinton to try to find outfits that could also be items from Khamsin’s missing luggage.

One user found a photo of Brinton wearing a top which was similar in design to the dresses, and asked Khamsin if she recognized it. The fashion designer claimed the top as yet another piece of clothing that had been in her stolen luggage.

Khamsin explained that she first looked into Brinton as a suspect after his arrest for stealing luggage was reported by Fox News. Brinton has recently been charged with stealing a woman’s luggage at a Minneapolis airport in September 2022. The contents of the luggage was valued at $2,325.

Shortly after his arrest, Brinton was charged again for stealing another woman’s suitcase in an earlier incident at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport. According to police, the suitcase contained more than $3,500 worth of jewelry, clothing, and makeup. Security footage appears to show Brinton walking through Harry Reid International Airport with the luggage in July 2022.

According to the arrest warrant, Brinton had already received his own bags from the carousel before grabbing the stranger’s luggage and making off with it.

Brinton appeared in court regarding the incident in Minneapolis on February 15. He was released without bail. He had appeared in court regarding the Las Vegas incident in December of 2022. In Nevada, bail for Brinton was set at $15,000 on a felony grand larceny charge. The Nevada judge in that case told the former nuclear waste official to “stay out of trouble.”

If found guilty of his charges, Brinton could face up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. 

Prior to his arrest, Brinton worked as deputy assistant secretary of the Department of Energy’s Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition. However, he has since been released from his position after the Biden administration came under scrutiny following his arrest.

Brinton’s employment in such a high ranking government role had raised eyebrows even prior to his alleged thievery coming to light due to his profile as a “genderfluid” LGBTQ activist and “kink lifestyle.” 

When Brinton was first appointed to the Biden Administration, an article by Metro Weekly featuring Brinton called “Puppy Love” began to circulate publicly.

In the article, Brinton explains his relationship with another man who pretends to be a dog called “Nubi”. “I can hear when Pup needs something faster, because of the difference in the grunts or the moans,” Brinton said. “I actually have trouble when we transition from pup play to having sex. Like, ‘No, I can’t have you whimper like that when we’re having sex,’ because I don’t want to mix that world. It’s interesting, because he doesn’t have to come out of pup mode to have me f*ck him.” Brinton told Metro Weekly.

As well as pup play, Brinton has also given talks at universities on BDSM. In one seminar titled ““Ropes, Whips, & Kinks, Oh My!!” The Polytechnic“, Brinton discussed various sexual fetishes, including adult babies, diaper play, humiliation, degradation, and more.

He has received numerous awards, including the first prize at the Prix de Lausanne, the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation award for artistry in 2018 and the youth American Grand Prix (2014). He was the youngest guest ever invited to perform in a principal role (James in La Sylphide) at the Mariinsky. He has performed in many gala performances, including the International Ballet Festival in St. Petersburg Dance Open (2019) or the Gala de Danza in Los Cabos, Mexico.

His first engagement was with the English National Ballet in London under the direction of Tamara Rojo. DANG!!! For TZ I saw lots of people “unofficially” keep confirming them to go to the MET & comparing the event with that India thing. Because when they went to India they were invited to a grand opening of a newly art building while MET is a very public generated buzz yearly event. What confuses me is that why people keep expecting them both to go to the MET?

To me this year would have been the year to go just simply because of all of the projects they have lined up this year. But at the same time, it was the worst year to go as well because of who the theme was about: Karl Lagerfeld.

Even if TZ had been invited, just knowing how Zendaya feels about certain things, I would have actually been kinda shocked if she DID attend this one. 😅 Jmho

Like I've said before, I've already kind of lost hope in her going to a Met Gala again since she hasn't been since 2019, but maybe if one showcases a BLACK designer as a theme, she will actually attend that one lol.

Eitah! Nossa semana começou a milhão (é claro, com o tanto de babados ocorrendo no mundo dos famosos). Chocando um total de zero pessoas, o Met Gala ainda continua gerando mais conteúdo que a coroação do Rei Charles, ô pobi... A notícia de que o evento deste ano seria em homenagem a Karl Lagerfeld gerou uma reação imediata do público. 

O que está acontecendo? 🤔 

Para os que não sabem, Lagerfeld é conhecido por ser um dos grandes designers na indústria da moda e sua morte em 2019 foi sentida em todo o mundo. A escolha do tema para o Met Gala deste ano foi uma forma de honrar seu legado e sua contribuição para a indústria da moda, pelo seu trabalho com marcas como Fendi, Chanel e Chloé. 

Mas a escolha do tema também gerou controvérsias e não foi muito bem aceita por boa parte de público e alguns dos famosos. Alguns argumentam que não é apropriado homenagear alguém que foi acusado de fazer comentários problemáticos, que ofendiam diversas minorias e grupos da sociedade. E mesmo assim, as escadarias do Metropolitan Museum of Art estavam lotadas de estrelas vestindo preto e branco, marca registrada do Karl. Essa polêmica ressalta a importância de considerar cuidadosamente as escolhas de temas e homenagens em eventos como o Met Gala, e como isso pode afetar a percepção da audiência sobre o acontecimento. 

Sobrou para Viola Davis fazer seu protesto sutil. A mais nova EGOT vestiu rosa, onde nas palavras de Lagerfeld “Pense rosa, mas não use”. Outra diva fantástica foi Lizzo, que apostou em uma foto afrontosa comendo batata frita, quando o diretor da Chanel anos antes tinha dito “As mães gordas com seus sacos de batatas fritas ficam sentadas na frente da televisão dizendo que as modelos magras são feias (...)”. O que achou? Há quem diga que ver uma borboleta é sinal de algum ente falecido. Se for assim acho que avistaram o próprio Karl lá!

Em seguida, o escândalo envolvendo o ator tailandês Prom – da produtora GMM - e seu comentário sobre pedofilia gerou uma forte reação negativa do público. O ator, que é conhecido por suas atuações em séries de sucesso como “My School President” - que a estagiária aqui ama rs - e “Bad Buddy”, fez um comentário em um talk show onde foi amplamente criticado por ser inapropriado e insensível. 

Prom descreveu para o The Goodbrother orquestrados pelos veteranos da GMM (Sing Harit, White Nawat e Mond Tanutchai) que espiava crianças da pré-escola pelos buracos das portas, quando estava no ensino médio. Amado? 

E aí a coisa começa a ficar tensa 🥵 

Ainda na entrevista ele disse que tem medo de namorar mulheres com seios grandes: “pode ser que ela me sufoque e me m*t* enquanto durmo” e que se fosse para namorar seria apenas com meninas “fofas” que não pareçam selvagens. Só piora! E é ainda mais estranho vindo de uma pessoa que nasceu em 2003. 

Após repercussão do caso, entre o público tailandês e o público internacional, Prom emitiu um pedido de desculpas pelo Twitter. Mesmo assim, horas depois, o ator foi exposto por um internauta (também no Twitter), alegando casos de bullying e homofobia.     A reação do público a esse comentário destaca a importância da responsabilidade social dos artistas e como as escolhas feitas pelos mesmos podem afetar a percepção da audiência sobre eles. Além disso, mostra como o público está cada vez mais atento às questões de ética e moralidade, especialmente quando se trata de personalidades públicas. Só sei que nunca mais verei My School President – DORAMA BL! - com os mesmos olhos. 

AJay volta das cinzas e detona o álbum da Beyoncé! Será que ela tem razão ou é só recalque?

Não passou batida a opinião negativa da YouTuber AJay sobre o álbum “RENAISSANCE” de Beyoncé e toda a polêmica nas redes sociais. Após mais de  1 ano afastada das redes, AJay retornou à plataforma nesse 08 de abril. E já chegou causando!  O álbum passou 14 semanas entre os top 10 mais ouvidos no Hot 200 da Billboard. No final do ano, o Renaissance teve a terceira maior estreia do ano e foi certificado como platina. 

De acordo com um resumo de seu vídeo de “first listen” de Pop Tingz, AJay não era fã. “Eu não me diverti muito ouvindo”. Muitas pessoas argumentaram que a opinião de AJay era injusta (que estava 10 meses atrasada) e não refletia a qualidade do álbum, considerado um dos melhores da carreira de Beyoncé. 

Why it matters:  A reação do público a essa opinião destaca a importância da subjetividade na cultura e como as pessoas têm diferentes opiniões e gostos quando se trata de arte. Além disso, mostra como as opiniões dos influenciadores podem afetar a percepção da audiência sobre um determinado trabalho artístico. 

Uma análise desfavorável sobre um álbum de sucesso, dez meses após o seu lançamento, pode ser vista como uma tentativa de influência. Isso se torna ainda mais evidente especialmente quando essa análise é publicada apenas cinco dias antes da artista em questão iniciar uma turnê mundial de quatro meses.  

A Renaissance World Tour está marcada para começar em 10 de maio em Estocolmo e terminar em 27 de setembro em Nova Orleans. O evento abrange 12 países e 17 estados dos EUA, além de DC. A turnê também continua com um total de 57 shows ao redor do globo.

Com o ator Prom e seu comentário problemático, relacionamos a discussão com a questão da representatividade e diversidade na cultura, que é um dos temas centrais dos estudos culturais. A reação negativa do público mostra como as ideias e valores presentes na cultura são percebidos e contestados pelos espectadores, como também são mutáveis de contexto a contexto. 

Por fim, a opinião negativa do youtuber AJay sobre o álbum "RENAISSANCE" de Beyoncé destaca a subjetividade na arte e como diferentes pessoas podem ter percepções distintas sobre a mesma obra. Isso reflete a complexidade e diversidade da cultura e a necessidade de reconhecer e valorizar as diferentes perspectivas e vozes presentes na sociedade.

Li Wenhan's Future Questioned After Rare Public Interview

The Li Corporation's Lunar New Year Gala has intertwined itself within Bejing’s annual festivities for over a decade now. Wu Ling Yu, mother of Li Wenhan and CEO of her own arts company, is inseparable from the charity’s continued success. Her children have been involved in the week-long event since they were old enough to walk across the stage of its grande venue. Yet, Wenhan’s future in the Li family’s growth has garnered scrutiny after the release of an interview clip went viral minutes into its live broadcast on January 24th.

The interview focused on Wenhan’s hopeful opening of a performance art theater early spring that will be based in Seoul, South Korea. This announcement was followed by shockwaves across social media after Wenhan admitted he will not pursue inheritance of Li Corporation and instead focus on business pursuits independent of his family in 2023. 

Li Corporation has not issued a public response. This interview and relevant clips have since been removed from its original source.

La parata di stelle (e di look) del MET Gala 2023 non ha fine e continua a conquistarci! Potevano mancare due delle regine della moda tra gli invitati? Stiamo parlando di Miuccia Prada, una delle rappresentanti del nostro Paese all’evento, presente anche lei sul red carpet, così come l’inconfondibile Donatella Versace. A portare in alto i colori italiani c’era anche la supermodella Vittoria Ceretti, con un abito di Balenciaga. Se la “misteriosa” Jessica Chastain seduce con i suoi capelli biondi e un abito in tulle Gucci, Anne Hathaway incanta in un abito Versace. Non è da meno Jennifer Lopez, senza suo marito Ben Affleck, con un outfit firmato Ralph Lauren, che cattura l’attenzione tanto quanto Gisele Bündchen con il suo angelico abito, guarda caso, di Chanel del 2007, a firma Karl Lagerfeld. Presente anche Charlotte Casiraghi, musa dello stilista scomparso nel 2019, grande amica della madre Carolina. E che dire degli “omaggi felini”?
