CRASHES THROUGH THE DOOR
igHT so hear me out
i know i disappeared into the void for several months yet again, but a lotta stuff has happened and i can’t get myself fixated on anything long enough to actually know how to write for it, plus i’ve been working on more personal stories, but now sky has me in a chokehold. i saw some sketches on pinterest and. hear me out.
what if i were to start working on an undertale/children of the light crossover? cause my brain’s already goin’ absolutely WILD with ideas for how it could progress and the ways light could play into it

going on late-night drives with RID!bumblebee | headcanons
a quick warm-up. this can be seen as platonic or romantic, either one, but i'll admit, there's some hints of romance tossed in there-
i actually have a playlist that i based this on! here's the link if you want to have a listen :]
you? him? driving around past 10 pm just for the heck of it? sure, why not.
things usually tend to calm down around the junkyard once it gets dark, so as long as he's not busy, he is more than willing to let you into his passenger seat and start driving through the streets with no real destination in mind. just vibe session.
he even made a playlist for the two of you to listen to! with some recommendations from you, of course, once you were told about the playlist. turns out y'all have very matching music tastes
the majority of your nights consist of bumblebee driving around while you lean back in the passenger seat, staring out the windows as the two of you listen to the music as it plays from the radio. softly, that is, while still letting it be easy to hear. he's not a fan of loud music, and he knows you aren't, either.
if the two of you aren't just vibing to the playlist, then he'll just talk with you for hours about anything that crosses his mind. memories, rants, that sort of thing, y'know?
sometimes he's just gotta get things off his chest, and he knows you do, too, so these drives tend to help a lot.
you've been sitting there for the past few minutes, getting lost in thought to where he can see the discomfort and irritation on your face? stop that right now before he pulls over
but don't test him. if he feels like flashing you in the face with his interior lights just for the heck of it, he will damn well do so-
look me in the eyes and tell me this bot would not have one direction songs on his playlist
the playlist itself goes from upbeat and positive songs to low-key romantic tracks. is he subtly flirting with you, or is it just his music taste? guess you'll never know-
it blends in really well with the rest of the playlist. trust me, he knows exactly what he's doing
meteor showers, you say? hell yeah, count him in
he can and will drive up to one of the highest peaks nearby, just to make sure that you're away from any light pollution. afterwards, it's meteor search time
some of bee's fondest memories with you involve just driving around late at night, listening to the soft music playing from his radio as he peers over at you through his rear-view mirror, only to see you calmly staring out the window, watching as the streetlights pass by. no stress, no overwhelming noise, no intruding thoughts. just a calm night with two close friends.

underswap!papyrus x wolfwalker!adhd!reader
written on december 5th, 2021 finished on february 10th, 2022
good grief i started dissociating while writing this, and lemme tell you, not fun. couldn't focus, which was very ironic platonic? romantic?? who knows, i’ll let you decide that one.
i had a sudden realization while writing this, but- what if, in wolfwalker vision, the outline of monsters and humans purely depended on their defining soul trait,,
do you have a hint of how i talk in real life purely based on how i write dialogue yet-
Tumblr media
"mornin," a familiar voice spoke.
You lifted your head, looking over at the staircase to see none other than a certain tall skeleton in an orange hoodie standing on the last step at the bottom, leaning against the railing as he stared back at you.
You had been outside in the snow for a while before now, after finally coming back inside from your usual run during the night while your human body rested, only to head into the living room and curl up with a cup of hot chocolate while you waited for the skelebros to wake up. Turns out Carrot over here had other plans.
"Mornin'," you answered. "You're up earlier than usual."
"eh." Papyrus shrugged, walking over beside you. "couldn't sleep."
You stretched out your arms, letting out a yawn as you let your elbows pop, prompting Papyrus to give a faint grimace. Once you relaxed back into your spot, you looked over at Papyrus with a raised eyebrow, something that had almost become a habit at this point.
As usual, his hands were hidden away in the pockets of his hoodie. Once your eyes met, you could catch an amused gleam in those black ones of his. "didja have a good run?"
"Yep!" You stretched your arms back over your head as you let out a yawn. "Lots of snow to run through. We don't exactly get much snow where I'm from, so it's a nice change of scenery."
"heh." Papyrus gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. "in that case, i don't think you'll be getting tired of this place anytime soon. plenty of snow here."
You let out a breathless laugh in response, a smile stretching across your face. "It's really pretty out here, I'll admit. I just..." you trailed off, your gaze growing distant as you glanced away from the skeleton beside you. "I kind of miss the giant, open sky full of stars I used to run under."
Papyrus blinked, his usual relaxed smile faltering as he watched your expression fall, eyes traveling down to your hands as he noticed you nudging them into your pockets. After a moment, he perked up a bit. "y'know," he began, "i always wondered how those wolfwalker abilities of yours worked. mind enlightening me about 'em?"
You visibly perked up, which prompted the weight in Papyrus' non-existent chest to lighten as you glanced over at him. "Oh! Alright. What... exactly do you want to know?"
"well, for starters, how exactly does the whole transformation thing work? you mentioned it's sort of like the soul leaving the body, which, uhh..." he trailed off, his eyebrow ridges narrowing a bit. "sounded a bit mindboggling, ya know?"
You blinked, slightly raising your eyebrows in response before nodding. Right! Their concept of souls worked quite differently than the concepts you had known of before coming down here, to the point where souls could be exposed for instant harm. Just the mere mention of souls could cause anyone down here to grow uncomfortable, especially since Monster souls were so... fragile.
One wrong hit and it'd cause their soul to shatter and turn to dust.
"(y/n), wakey wakey." Papyrus snapped his fingers in an attempt to get your attention, and fortunately, it worked. "no zonin' out on me, buddy. i just got here."
"Oh!" you jolted. "Right, right, uh-"
You furrowed your eyebrows, glancing down to the side as you brought a hand to your mouth, silently trying to figure out how to explain it all. "Well... to put it simply, when we go to sleep, even just to the point where our brain is just barely starting to shut off, our "soul" starts to leave our body," you said.
"I've always been told it's our soul, which makes it even more interesting since it's automatically a wolf, but that doesn't stop me from being confused. 'Cause you would think that by having the soul leave the body, then the body would just die at some point, wouldn't-" you came to an abrupt stop, your eyes growing wide as you stared ahead. "Oh."
You could see Papyrus slightly tilt his head out of the corner of your eye. "what'd you notice now?" While that line would usually be taken as an offense, his tone was purely lighthearted and genuine.
In the back of your mind, you could faintly recall all of the times when your mother advised you to never wake up a sleepwalker.
"Why is that, Momma?"
"Because their soul would be lost! They can't get back into their body if the body isn't asleep."
You chuckled, a fond smile forming on your face. "Just a little something. Have you ever been told not to wake up someone who's sleepwalking?"
Papyrus shrugged. "a few times, i guess. 'cause their soul would be lost, right? though i've only ever heard about it in those human books my bro has."
"Exactly!" you exclaimed, though you were mindful of your voice's volume. "I never quite understood that until now. All these years as a Wolfwalker myself, and it never clicked. Wow."
Papyrus chuckled in response. "welp. better late than never, right?"
"True."
You let out a sigh. "Anywho. What else?"
"hmm... could a monster become a wolfwalker? since it's passed through bites n' all."
You paused, humming to yourself for a second. "I'm... not too sure about that one. I haven't ever heard of a monster becoming one, but maybe it'd be possible? I'd have to see it to know, but I don't think I'm willing to just bite anyone to test it out."
Papyrus gave another chuckle. "yeah, i don't think we need that. especially if it doesn't work and then you just bit someone for no reason."
"Exactly," you laughed.
Papyrus narrowed his eyebrow ridges in thought once more, taking a moment to think of another question. Fortunately, he's had questions stored in the back of his mind since he met you and learned about... all of this.
"what if... you were to get, uh. fatally injured in any way? i know you have healing magic, but doesn't it have a limit?"
"I'm pretty sure it does," you replied. "Minor injuries like scrapes, bruises, or just things like a sudden cut on the arm will usually heal up relatively fast. It may take several minutes depending on how bad or deep the wound is, but still, it'll heal eventually." You went quiet, your gaze drifting down to the floor.
"As for more serious injuries... chances are, something like a stab wound won't be able to heal on its own. A singular wolfwalker's magic will do what it can before either wearing us out or disappearing until we can get others to help." You subconsciously crossed your arms over your midsection as you continued. "If it's a fatal injury, then our magic will likely be unable to do much at all unless there's multiple wolfwalkers pitching in to heal the same wound."
Luckily, you didn't notice Papyrus' eyes shift down to your arms as they crossed over your torso, your eyes growing distant once more. Like you were reliving a faint memory.
After a moment, you blinked and snapped yourself out of... whatever you had just been in, before continuing. "Alright, what else?"
Papyrus blinked in response, barely expecting you to come out of it so quick. "uh- just how strong is your hearing?"
"Strong enough to hear people chatting outside and their footsteps in the snow."
"huh?"
"I take it most monsters wake up early?"
"ehh..." Papyrus shrugged. "you could say that."
He readjusted his position, propping his own legs up on the couch and crossing one over the other to get more comfortable. "so does anything about your eyesight change when you're in that form?"
"Quite a bit, actually," you said. "The way we see colors compared to our human form is generally the same, except the hues we see are slightly different. It's just the way that wolves see things, except... we get to see the colored scent trails of everyone. And if we shut our eyes, then we can see nothing but the full-on outlines of everyone around us. Wolves, squirrels, you name it."
"really now?" he tilted his head. "can you see mine, then?"
You squinted your eyes at him, blinking a few times in hopes of setting off your wolf vision. You were fairly tired, after all, so maybe it would be easy. "I can try..."
After another blink, everything around you went dark and you could see the outline of the hooded skeleton in front of you; orange and glowing faintly against the now dull room around you. You gave a slightly victorious smirk. "Aha."
You blinked a couple of times afterward, prompting your vision to return to normal as you leaned back a bit. "Orange, eh? I don't think I've seen that outline color before..." you mumbled, reaching over to grab your mug.
Papyrus almost seemed to stiffen once you mentioned the color. "huh. ya think they're connected to how souls operate?"
"Possibly," you replied. "Most of the people I met above ground had green or blue outlines, so that's probably it."
You hummed, taking a sip from your hot chocolate as you peered down at the floor. Didn't some of your family members have a blue outline? Or was it orange?
Man, if some of your family members had the Integrity or Bravery soul trait, then they sure never acted on it.
You knew your mother definitely had a yellow outline...
What was yours, again?
Wasn't it purple?
Oh! Wait, no, it was-
A sudden whistle caught your attention, instantly causing you to look up. You had already lowered your mug, while Papyrus was still sitting across from you, with an eyebrow ridge raised as he stared back at you with his usual amused grin. "ya zoned out again."
"Bah, perfect," you said. "Love to hear it."
Papyrus chuckled in response. "i think i got one more question for you."
"Shoot."
"what about a coma? would ya still be able to "transform" or... does being unconscious make a difference?"
"Oh, I'm pretty sure it makes a difference." You glanced down at your sleeves, fidgeting with them a bit before attempting to explain it all. "I've been unconscious before, whether it be through anesthesia for surgeries or that injury I gave in to a few weeks ago," you paused, peering over at Papyrus, only for him to glance away.
You playfully rolled your eyes before continuing, "and each time, I never turned into my wolf form or anything. I don't quite know what happens in the brain to change that, but oh well."
Your eyes soon found their way over to the fireplace, watching as the flames flickered, prompting the light from it to follow. You brought your hand up and rested your chin in your palm, propping your elbow up on the arm of the couch.
You let your eyes shift down to the cup of hot chocolate in your hand, which was now practically empty, but had some leftover liquid that was more chocolate syrup than actual hot cocoa you felt like would taste appealing.
Your fingernails idly traced the nicely drawn designs on the sides of the mug. Only now had you started to notice the faint shivering your body was doing thanks to the cold air of the house itself.
"oi," Papyrus' voice managed to snap you out of it once again, and you glanced over at him, only for a blanket to suddenly be draped over your shoulders. How long had he been trying to get your attention? Goodness.
"don'tcha think you need a blanket, kid? you're shivering with a mug in your hand and i don't think blue would appreciate any stains on his beloved couch."
"Huh? Oh." You glanced back down at your empty mug before blinking and resting it on the coffee table beside you. Afterward, you readjusted the blanket around you by tugging it back over your shoulders so it wouldn't fall. "Right. Can't have that, can we?"
"nope, we cannot." Papyrus scooted a bit closer to you than he had previously been to wrap the blanket around you, resting an arm over your shoulder as you leaned against him.
"y'know," he started, prompting you to peer up at him, "you really oughta let me come with you on one of those nightly runs of yours. maybe it'd be fun."
You let out a small, breathless laugh. "To explore a place that you already live in?"
"'ey, it'll be more fun now that you're around, right?"
After you playfully rolled your eyes, you nudged him a bit, earning a light chuckle in response. "Oh, hush up.”

various creepypastas x reader | late-night vibe sessions from behind the wall
quick warm-up scenario from december 5th of last year, ‘cause why not?
based on this video!
Tumblr media
You peeked an eye open and glanced to the right as you suddenly heard the start of a familiar song, 'Animals,' along with giggling from the bedroom to your right. Jeff's bedroom.
You let out a sigh as you crossed your arms and propped them back behind your head, staring up at the ceiling. Your eyes occasionally flickered up to the strands of fairy lights that were hung across the wall over your bed and stretched across the top of your window curtains. They were LEDs, so they didn't get hot, meaning you wouldn't have to worry about your curtains catching fire or burning while you were asleep. Thankfully.
You had just peered over at the clock on your wall, and despite the darkness of the room around you, it was still possible to make out the alignment of the hands on the clock since your eyes had adjusted. Not to mention, the fairy lights above you that practically lit up your entire room. It wasn't anything close to a lamp and it was still rather dark, but it was enough light to keep your mind at ease and help you see things.
1:45 AM.
You could clearly hear the sound of Jeff blasting music in his bedroom, which just happened to be the room directly to the left of your own door. From the outside, at least. For a moment, you were just a tad irritated due to how loud his music was, only to shrug it off and lay back down. Whether or not you were actually trying to sleep beforehand didn't matter, since it was comforting to have at least some background noise. It didn't make you feel like you were completely alone, y'know?
Not to mention, his music taste was pretty good. It definitely passed your expectations, that's for sure.
Plus, it's better than arguing or anything of the sort. The most of the "arguing" you were hearing from Jeff's room would be the occasional laugh over a certain song choice and Jeff being rude, as usual. For example, Jack currently letting out a wheeze and going into a short fit of laughter over Rihanna's music being on Jeff's playlist, only for said serial killer to yell at him to shut up.
A quick yell or burst of laughter would happen, then that'd be it.
You'll admit, it was kind of comforting.
You suddenly caught the first few notes of Britney Spears' 'Toxic' playing, before it abruptly cut off, probably due to Jeff skipping it. Immediately afterward, you could hear the familiar high-pitched laughter of BEN, which prompted you to let out a wheeze as you held your hand over your mouth to try and keep quiet.
You could almost hear the boy rolling on the floor as he laughed in response to Jeff's music taste, and whether or not that was what BEN was actually doing, you could definitely see it.
While you likely couldn't hear him doing so, Jeff was definitely letting out an exasperated sigh at this very moment.
As you lied there and continuously stared up at the ceiling, letting your mind drift off while Jeff's music continued playing in the next room over, you let out a heavy exhale through your nose. This wasn't exactly an uncommon occurrence; the loud music, yelling, laughing, all that. While it's not as chaotic as it probably sounds, it can still get kind of annoying every once and a while.
But Jeff's music taste was fire, and hey, he wasn't as insufferable as you think once you get to know him a bit better. Plus, it's not like you were bold enough to waltz over to his bedroom door and tell him to turn it down, it wouldn't do much anyway.
After a few moments, you heard another song abruptly cut off as Jeff skipped it. Or that was your best guess at least since you doubt he would let anyone else man the playlist controls.
You stifled a laugh as you heard Jeff sneeze, followed by a muffled voice responding with "Bless you," only for Jeff to say "Fuck you" in return. That was definitely Toby- no one else here was that precious besides Sally.
Alright, well maybe BEN.
He was still a jerk, though.
Speaking of BEN, you could hear him let out a quiet laugh after Jeff rudely answered Toby simply being polite from the next room.
You eventually decided to unfold the blanket at the foot of your bed and throw it out a few times until it neatly lied across your bed, providing some warmth against the cold air that hovered around your windows due to autumn finally arriving. You lied back down, propping your arms behind your head once more as you let your eyes close, blocking out the light around you.
Once the current song came to a stop, you suddenly heard screaming from the hallway. It was faint, but you definitely heard it. And so did Jeff.
As the sound of Jeff's harsh laughter came from his room and the next song began playing, you let an amused smile stretch across your face.
Maybe living here wasn't so bad.

scp-049 x shapeshifter!reader | guardian
this was originally written back on june 22nd of last year, but i figured i’d go ahead and post it on here since i was pretty proud of it and felt like posting on here.
Tumblr media
The sound of soft humming rang through the room, prompting the ears of a certain wolf to twitch. Your eyes traveled over to 049, flickering down toward the corpse he was operating on. You couldn't help but watch with piqued interest as his hands moved precisely from one area to another, blood staining his gloves.
You, like 049, were an anomaly. Forced to remain inside of the facility as yet another Euclid-ranked creature, hidden away from the rest of the world. Away from your home.
How you two had met was thanks to a past containment breach caused by none other than 682. The doors to his containment chamber had failed because of it, and you were a new addition to the facility, walking around while you were beyond confused. You nearly attacked 049 on sight since your nerves were already shot, but he kept his calm and tried his best to assure you that there was nothing to be afraid of. To put it bluntly, you remained by his side throughout the rest of the breach. And you continue to do so each time you encounter each other.
Often, you could be found in 049's cell, much to the disdain of certain personnel. You'd do your best to keep any potential nearby threats away from 049, specifically when he was working on his... patients, but also just in general. While most scientists knew better than to mess with 049 when he was busy, but there were some who had little patience and decided to test their luck.
Yeah, that never ended well.
Now in terms of your abilities and why you were here, you were a creature with the ability to transform yourself into whatever you like. Animals and people alike, and even some of the other SCPs here as well. Not only that, but you also could change your size to some extent. Currently, you were a large wolf with (F/C) fur resting by the door of 049's cell.
Your (E/C) eyes flickered away from 049 as you noticed his own golden ones glance over in your direction. You shifted uncomfortably, resting your chin down on your paws.
"Is something on your mind?" 049's voice sounded from beneath his mask, the signature metallic tone to it clear as ever.
You lifted your head once more and looked back in his direction. He had paused the... operation and directed his focus to you.
"As always," you responded. "Nothing too important, though."
You could've sworn you saw the eyebrow ridge of his mask slightly raise as he resumed his work. "If you insist."
You playfully rolled your eyes in response. He was always so formal. Your attention darted to the door as it suddenly shot open, causing your ears to flatten themselves against your skull. Alarms rang through the facility, unintelligible announcements coming from the intercom. You soon droned out the intercom's obnoxious alerts, your eyes shifting over to 049.
You watched as he stepped away from the corpse, a fresh line of stitching along its chest. He reached over to his table and wiped the remaining blood from his gloves. Once he was done, he turned to you as he waited for his patient to awaken. He let out a sigh. "I suppose 173 managed to slip out of his cell... again."
You mentally laughed to yourself and rose to your paws, your tail wagging swiftly behind you as you walked over to 049. "Possibly," you mused. "But no matter who did it this time around, we're free to roam as we please. Ready to go see who we can find?"
049's eyes almost seemed to gleam brighter against the darkness before he glanced back over to the corpse on the bloodied table. While maybe you still didn't quite understand his motives, you were willing to help him out if it helped put his mind at ease, even just by a bit.
As his patient awoke and shuffled off of the table with staggering steps, his eyes seemed to narrow from behind his mask, almost seeming... displeased. Deep in thought.
After a moment, he turned his head back to you and steadily nodded. "Of course," he said. "Lead the way."
With a grin, you trotted out of the containment chamber with 049 following closely behind you, the sound of his shoes tapping against the floor overlapping with the noise of your claws clicking against the floor.
While you weren't exactly free, and you were far away from your homeland, you still had friends. Acquaintances. You may not be on the best of terms with the personnel in the foundation, you still got along with the anomalies around you, a certain plague doctor being one of them. You would both get out of here at some point; you were sure of it. But until then, you would stay by 049's side. The guards around only saw him as a hassle, and you were more than aware of it. You're sure he was, too, whether he refused to show it or not.
Now all you had to do was bide your time. And you'd be guarding 049 until you both got your chance.

scp-173 with an affectionate reader | headcanons
hey, thehauntedreader!173 simps. wake the hell up, it’s fanfic time
Tumblr media
oho, affectionate, you say? looks like you’re never going to be left alone, then.
if you end up falling asleep within his hold, then you’re never being let go. sorry buddy, i don’t make the rules-
you try to get up and he either tightens his arms around you or tugs you back down to where you had been before. you ain’t leaving him, no way
if you show your affection through nuzzling or constant hugs/cuddles, then expect this dumb statue to be all over you while he constantly purrs like a motorcycle.
if you try and get up mid-cuddle session then he just lets out a whine and goes, “come onnn, already?”
but his tone gets genuinely irritated when it’s a guard interrupting the two of you, instead of just being something close to a heartbroken whine.
you could be working on something at your desk or just wandering around during a breach, and 173 would sneak up and wrap his arms around you from behind as his way of saying “hi,” or just in an attempt to spook you.
doesn’t matter if y’all are just friends or are actually in a romantic relationship, nothing will stop him from being all affectionate with you and flirting a bunch. especially if he’s already head over heels

sundrop/moondrop with a system!reader | headcanons
i've had this idea in my head for a few weeks now, and let's just say suddenly finding introjects of them in our headspace only further encouraged me to actually write it-
meant to be platonic with a reader who has osdd-1b so there's less direct amnesia involved, but heck, take it as you wish.
Tumblr media
SUNRISE/SUNDROP
the first time you tell him about your alters, he tilts his head a bit and lets out a hum. "so... you share a body with other people, too?" to which you nod in response.
"so that means..." and he springs up, grinning like always. "mORE FRIENDS!"
you can only playfully roll your eyes at him. he never changes. you're just glad he took it well-
he asks you questions whenever he can, but he'll tone it down if he notices you getting overwhelmed. he's just curious! and really excited to meet someone like them!! he just wants to get to know you all better-
if there's certain alters who are shy or just prefer to stay out of front, then he'll sheepishly ask a question that's directed at them so you can give him an answer while they stay back. no pressure here!
and if you happened to be in a bad household, or were just generally always around people you didn't feel comfortable telling your system about, he nearly malfunctions once it sets in. you felt,, more comfortable telling him than your own family?
this bot nearly cries
if anyone insults you or even glances at you wrong for coming out as a system or just using 'we/us' pronouns, he is immediately walking over to shut them up.
politely, of course. but do not underestimate this jester's glare nor temper.
he will throw hands if he has to, but more so verbally than physically. then he'll just drag the person out of the daycare and ban 'em from it. bad dog
they get really concerned if you get all switchy around them and start dissociating, which leads to bad exhaustion and mental sluggishness after a while-
if it gets to a point where even your current/recent fronters are suddenly worn out and quiet, he immediately pulls you over to where he was sitting before and tells you "no no, none of that. you're wearing yourselves out."
and if a little's fronting? oho-
if they're more outgoing and excited to meet him, to where they even brought along one of their stuffies from home to show him, his metaphorical heart melts and the rays on his head spin in response
but if that specific little happens to be shy and more hesitant, then he'll try and take his time, waiting for them to come to him first. he may end up bouncing on his feet while standing in one place, but he's trying his best-
he tries to make sure he helps out with any memory blackouts y'all have, even if it's something as small as switching out of nowhere, resulting in you suddenly forgetting a game the two of you were playing.
you're all his best friends now and you have no say in the matter
MOONDROP
you tell them while sitting down in the middle of the daycare, after just chilling with him for the past hour or so. he tilts his head a bit, similar to how sun would, squinting slightly.
he isn't quite sure how to respond, but he'll admit, he had a hunch that you were hiding something from him. or at the very least, something was up. your voice would change its tone or pitch at certain times, your body language occasionally changed drastically between visits, or just your general behavior would switch within minutes. buuut he figured it was just how you were. nothing that bothered him, really-
they felt,, rather honored that you felt comfortable enough to let them know about your system.
the way you talked about everyone so fondly when they weren't fronting was intriguing. you're like one big family, and now moon and sun are apparently apart of it.
if one of your littles is fronting, he gets especially excited. while he's not one to directly show it, you all can see straight through him. look them in the eyes and tell me you can't see that little sparkle every time he gets excited.
if you have any nonhuman alters who happen to front while you're around him and they disregard the idea of sleep because they technically don't need it, moon gets tired of their shenanigans real quick
just- alright, fine. but at the very least, you're going to lay down and relax so that the body you're all in can get some form of rest.
sudden memory blackouts, even if it's just a bit blurred? no problem, this robot's got the memory of an elephant.
dissociating really bad and switching a lot around him after getting all excited or worked up, to where your alters are getting worn out as well? no. bad.
he gently wraps his arms around you and pulls you into a hug. "calm down. you're exhausting yourself."
"but we just-"
"you can all get your turn later. just rest for now, and we can continue when the fatigue lets up."
no neglecting your own health or energy on his watch, even if you just want to spend more time with him. they'll be having none of that, thank you.

Sanford + Deimos with a Winged Reader
silently panics as i try my best not to make these two terribly ooc
────────────────────────────────────────
Sanford
your wings? owl. thanks to this, let's just say you had some owl-like tendencies-
he'd often find you staying up until sunrise and then napping throughout the afternoon, or at the very least just laying around until nighttime hit, only for your energy to suddenly perk up.
and just like your usual owl, you tend to stare at him from across the room with round eyes. you just like observing him, that's all. either that or you just zone out too much for your own good-
he doesn't mind a bit, though he'd be lying if he said it doesn't get a tad unnerving sometimes
he finds your instincts interesting :]
you also steal his glasses from time to time and it's both irritating and entertaining, mainly the latter.
you flare your wings often since they're already fairly large, but flaring your feathers only makes them look twice as big, which usually chases off any threats relatively quickly.
if it doesn't? well then, square up street rat
he loves how coarse yet oddly soft your wings are-
he only pets your wings if you let him. he's polite, so don't worry about any sudden pokes or tugs-
one of your wings ended up getting damaged mid-fight and he wasn't having any of it. absolutely none
it took you a while to recover, especially with your feathers torn and multiple bones broken. he never left your side, and helped with any exercises during your recovery to make sure your wings were still functional
Deimos
you have dove wings. so as expected, your wings were a light gray with feathers tipped in a darker shade. very soft,,,
he's absolutely obsessed with how soft they are and can't keep himself from stroking them whenever he gets the chance, though he does hesitate beforehand depending on your mood or general view on physical contact, just to make sure he won't get a flinch in response
you're a quieter type, but that doesn't mean you're shy. not at all. when you do speak, it's usually in the form of banter or a snarky remark. deimos adores it and finds it absolutely hilarious when you give someone a deadpan look-
if your wings flutter whenever you're excited, this man's heart melts
there's been times where he gets caught off-guard during a fight and you immediately take that chance to charge in and shield him with your wings
it's,, resulted in more ripped feathers and fractures than you'd like to admit-
he appreciates it, but dammit can you maybe NOT try and get yourself killed for his sake??
there was one point when you darted in front of him and got both of your wings pelted with bullets. did your wings ever fully recover from it? yes, thanks to the regeneration after death, but they still hurt like hell sometimes. he wasn't happy about it
did he cry? yes, yes, he did
stop scaring him to death you fiend
and if you lost half of your wing due to saving him from an explosion or attack of some sort? good grief the blame this guy puts on himself afterward-
but you won't take any of it. it was your choice, and it was either that or watch him get killed again.
