And even without knowing all this metatextual information, what we incontestably learn from Toshiro/Shuro's flashbacks is ... that he made a consistent effort to *not* hurt Laios' feelings. It was not enjoyable for him to be around Laios' high energy and socially clumsy antics (the man is a lot), yet he *never* stopped making that effort.

You know who *isn't* as careful not to hurt Laios' feelings? Literally everybody else except his sister. Not even Marcille and Chilchuck, who actually do like him. It's kinda no wonder Laios thought Toahiro/Shuro was his best bud.

There's no reason to hate on either of them. They're both decent guys who just, tragically, were unable to properly communicate before both were at the emotional (and physical for Toshiro/Shuro) breaking point and things got punchy.

you got hit with a shrink ray and are now 15cm tall! but don’t worry, it’ll wear off after a good night’s sleep… in your own bed. how difficult will it be to get there from the floor?

Assuming the only question is getting into bed from the floor, it shouldn't be too difficult. The mattress is on a boxspring, and the boxspring is on a mat on the floor. So I just need to climb up about ... 24 inches (60 cm) using hand and footholds on the corner, or maybe stack some books from the nearby floor-to-ceiling bookcase and climb those, or possibly even just ride one of my dogs (they sleep in the bed with me).

At worst, I'd say this is only a 3.5/10 on the Difficulty Scale (and could be lower). It will require some effort and planning and likely time to execute, yes, but the task and sub-tasks are far from impossible. More of a chore than a labor, if you see what I mean.

And GODSDAMN that is a funny musical with some surprisingly hard-hitting musical numbers. Especially this one.

Hey hello! I literally can't remember the last time somebody sent me an ask that wasn't a bot lol I got T, and honestly there were a few I tossed around. Tiger seemed an obvious choice, and tarantula or toad could have been fun- I heavily considered the Thorny Devil on account of the fact they look like dragons.... But I had to stay true to my heart. So I went with Turritopsis dohrnii, also known as the immortal jellyfish. They look like weird little space ships with a little orange guy in the middle to me.

I'm also assuming that this wizard can make him Big Size, and also, like, float out of water...because otherwise this will absolutely not work. So assuming that, on a scale of 1-10 for how things are going for me? Probably like.......... a 2? Pros: they have stinging tentacles, and are biologically immortal. Cons: basically everything else. They don't exactly have brains, so it's not gonna be the brightest little guy, and they kind of just mindlessly float around, so even steering it would be pretty bad probably. Also, even though it's biologically immortal, it can still be killed, and the "immortality" bit basically just means if it's in bad conditions, like if they're starving, or injured, or the temperature changes to fast, it can change back into a polyp, restarting its life cycle. They can also make clones of themselves?? So I guess I could add that to the pros. But all in all? Terrible steed, absolutely not doing a good job at anything other than maybe zapping anyone that gets too close. However, I think they're neat, so I'm keeping him.

(Yes this was also an excuse to draw this... yes that background is a CSP asset I have work in the morning)
