A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.

“Can I call you pretty?” Sean Macguire/Reader- SFW
“Sean, Arthur, and Reader go on a run to rob a side business in a high-society bar in Saint Denis, and things go a bit off track. Arthur is caught in the middle of an argument, as usual with the two.”
Howdy! I apologize for not having updated here in a hot minute- but hopefully things are going to start getting back to normal soon. This fic was entirely made because of a conversation a friend and I had about Sean having to wear fancy clothes, so enjoy the 1.6 k words result!!
CONTINUES UNDER THE CUT
You and Sean weren’t a couple. Well, not officially, at least. But you flirted on the regular, were together more often than not, and he was almost constantly calling you silly pet names like “Darlin’” and “Sunshine.” When he told you of robbing a fancy saloon, (although you couldn’t quite wrap your head around the idea of a saloon that wasn’t always dirty, with windows and furniture constantly being broken in drunken brawls.) that was a front for money laundering, you agreed to accompany him and Arthur, thinking, what was the worst that could happen?
He even took you into town before hand, “buying” you a nice, new set of clothes. When he rushed out of the store to you and the horses, you simply raised a brow, asking how much the clothes he just got costed, he replied “Oh, right! That’s the ol’ Macguire classic, five-finger-discount!” Much to your amusement. The angry shop-keep suddenly burst out of the store, and you both jumped onto your horses, speeding out of town in record time.
And now here the three of you were, riding into Saint Denis in a stagecoach, dressed in suits that honestly made you laugh when you first saw the other two men wearing them.
When you reached the saloon, you all hopped out, and Sean payed the driver, clapping him on the shoulder before following you and Arthur into the noisy establishment.
You had to admit, the Irish man was right in his description of the place. It was nothing like other saloons. Just from a glance, you could see every person in there had pockets absolutely stuffed with money. Even the music playing was more high-class than other bars, and your fingers itched at the idea of lightening a few patrons wallets.
Arthur seemed to know exactly where your mind was going, and you flinched when he put his hand on your lower back.
“No pickin’ any pockets. We’re goin’ to find a seat, have a drink, and figure out who’s the best to get information from on the back-business.” You sighed, nodding and taking Seans arm to lead him to a table near the back of the saloon.
After around ten minutes of sitting in comfortable silence at your booth, Arthur sat up straighter in his chair, leaning forward to you and the gingers side of the table.
“Man in a white blazer, over there. He’s been going back and forth from the bar to the hallway into the kitchen. He’s definitely not a cook or staff. He came out once with his arm around a younger mans waist.” He whispered, and glanced at you with a look you knew all too well.
“Wha- No. I’m not doing that again.” You hissed, and the brunette took to a more pleading expression.
“I ain’t! Last time I did, I ended up getting two of the buttons on my shirt ripped off, AND a bite on my throat that forced me to wear a scarf for nearly a week and a half in the dead of summer!” You snapped, and Arthur sighed.
“Please? I wouldn’t ask if I had another idea.” He implored, and when you looked to Sean for a bit of help, the fool just looked away, tapping his fingers against the table edge. You huffed dramatically, standing up from your chair suddenly.
“Fine. But you both owe me.”
Sean thought it would be easy. He thought he could just sit in his seat and not worry. But now he felt guilty, and he found himself glancing toward the saloon doors every five seconds. You and the suspect had vanished into the back of the establishment after only like, ten minutes of you chatting him up at the bar counter. Now we were at eight minutes and twenty seven seconds of you being (presumably) alone with him, and the Irish man found himself getting closer and closer to barging in, guns blazing. His leg was bouncing incessantly, and no matter what he told himself, all he could think about was “what if he just sent you into the lions den?”
Arthur kept calming him down, but that didn’t matter one bit when he heard something slam in another room. Shooting up from his seat, he took off toward the doors, relieved that Arthur didn’t seem interested in stopping him.
Throwing the door to the back room open, Sean felt a wave of relief flood over him when he saw you standing over the man you left with, holding a bloodied knife as you smoothed out your dress shirt that was almost halfway undone. He rushed to your side, and you looked up, wiping the blood from your lip.
“If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were worried about me Macguire.” You hummed, smirking at the redhead as he scoffed and turned to search for the money. You grinned, clearing your throat and holding up a stack of cash triumphantly.
“And as usual, I’m one step ahead of you.” You continued, and Sean grunted in response, crossing his arms as you divvied out the money to the other two men, giving the gangs share to Arthur to bring back to Dutch. You glanced at Sean again, and took note of his sour expression.
“What’s got your drawers in a twist, Macguire?” You asked, tilting your head to catch his eye. Sean huffed, running his hands through his hair.
“I just don’t understand why we couldn’t have just come back here when no one was watchin’, eh?” He snapped, and you jumped back as he waved his arms to exaggerate his displeasure.
“Ye’ dinna’ need to do all that whorin’ when we could’ve done it just as easily together! Makes a man wonder if you’re really all’at’ put off by it.” He finished, and you froze, eyebrows shooting up as you stared incredulously at him.
“I beg your pardon? You addle-headed Irish prick! I only did it because Morgan goddamn told me to!” You shouted, getting in his face. To your right, you heard Arthur clearing his throat quietly. The redhead scoffed.
“Yeah, I’m sure ye’ would do whatever he wanted if it was Morgan tellin’ ya’! You’ll do anythin’ to get a good fuck, eh?” The words barely left Seans mouth when your fist connected with his jaw, resulting in a satisfying crunch before he was knocked backwards onto the floor. He yelped, and grabbed his cheek in his hand while looking up at you furiously. You sneered, spitting at his feet and speaking.
“Find yer’ own way home, you fuckin’ pig. Arthur and I are gettin’ a stage back for ourselves.” You snarled, turning and leaving him on the ground as you urged the other outlaw out of the room.
The coach ride to where you left the horses was entirely silent, and Arthur only spoke up while you were leading your horses into a trot.
“Can I offer some friendly advice?” He asked quietly, and you took a calming breath before responding with a “depends.”
“I think you should talk to Sean later. He only yelled at you like that because he was worried sick about’chu when we were waitin’ to come get ya’.” He suggested gently, and you clenched your jaw.
“I ain’t sayin’ what he said was okay, but there’s more goin’ on than just him bein’ an ass.”
“I no longer want your advice, Arthur.” You replied, and you heard an exasperated sigh over the sound of your horses hooves hitting the dirt road.
“Just think about it, alright? He cares about you. That much is clear as day.” He finished, and you rode back into Shady Belle in silence.
You had been sitting with Arthur, Charles, and Tilly around the campfire for about thirty minutes when Sean finally arrived back, and when you saw who it was, you turned back in your seat so quickly you felt like you nearly snapped your neck. (As much of an exaggeration as that is.)
Sean of course, came over to the group before long, and you stood from your seat with an unintentionally(?) loud, inconvenienced sigh. You ignored the look Arthur gave you, making your way to your tent.
Just as you unfastened the flaps, a hand was on your shoulder, and you turned to see Sean standing behind you, a guilty look on his face.
“What?”
“Er- I wanted to apologize for what I said earlier.” He said quietly, looking at the ground. You raised a brow, and he continued.
“I dinna’ mean to insult ye’, I was just so worried about what was goin’ on while you were alone with that pig. That’s not to excuse what I did, but I just wanted to let ye’ know that..” You stared at the redhead while he trailed off, waiting.
“Know what?”
“That I.. care.. for ye’. Differently than the rest of these fellers’. I see them as brothers, but with you..” You grinned as he trailed off again, and stepped closer to press a kiss to his lips.
“I fancy you too, Sean.” You hummed as you pulled away, and had to stifle a laugh at the star-struck expression he now wore. Backing into your tent, the laugh bubbled out as he nearly tripped following you, securing the tent behind himself.
You took his hand, kissing him again.
“Yer’ very pretty, darlin’. Er- can I call you pretty? Is that weird to call a man pretty?” He asked, nervously stumbling over his words in a way that warmed your heart.
“Sean?” You cut off his rambling, and he started, looking at you with wide eyes.
“Yes, darlin’?”
“Shut up and kiss me.”

jealous
john marston x reader
-
tags: sean having a tiny crush on you, jealousy (obviously), reunions, love confessions, getting together
✥﹤┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈﹥✥
it had been a few weeks, maybe 3, since you'd seen your best friend sean. the two of you got split at blackwater, and you were worried he might of fallen to the wrong hands. everyone wasn't too worried, but every day when arthur comes back in you bother him for any information on sean; and every day he sighs and tells you there's been nothing.
you found comfort in john; the two of you had grown closer throughout the blackwater chaos. you had stuck with john when it happened, and went out to find him when you were all on the mountain. the two of you were being teased for being 'flirty' with each other. the two of you were growing closer, much closer, and every night you confide your worry in him.
you're sitting at the campfire, playing cards with hosea as dutch tells some story from his childhood. john is pacing around, you both share glances and shy smiles and every time hosea nudges your foot teasingly. "john, sit down. you're making me nervous." uncle sighs, your friend sneers. "gimme a minute, i'm thinkin'." he grumbles. "don't hurt yourself." you joke, meeting his eyes with a glance. "ha-ha." he laughs sarcastically. you smile to yourself, placing your card down.
john is stuck. he really wants to ask you out, but the idea of rejection is terrifying. you were so lovely, in every way, and john craves you. the two of you have shared beds, woke up together in fits of laughter and he wants it to stay like that. john approaches you, smiling at you; ready to ask for a conversation when arthur's voice calls out to you, and you perk up. "we have your boy!" you immediately get up, knocking the card pile over and almost tripping as you sprint through the camp.
"y/n!" sean beams, the two of you meet in a bone crushing hug. you can't help but sob as the irishman hauls you up into his arms, spinning you. "you're so fucking dead, macguire." you laugh, resting your forehead against his neck. "oh, cmon! gimme a little lovin'!" he laughs, putting you down carefully. your smile is huge, and sean copies it; arms sneaking around your waist to squeeze you. "i've missed you." you mumble, he nods. "believe me, i did too. them bastards didn't laugh at any of my jokes." sean pouts. "ohh, you poor thing."
after separating from sean, you catch sight of john. he's storming off into the woods, your smile falters. "come share a drink wit' me?" sean asks, you look back at him. "i will in a minute, the night's young. i'm just gonna go do something first." you smile, jogging after your friend. "well, let's start a party!" you hear sean call out to the camp, everyone sounds happy at the idea.
"john?" you yell, searching the woods for him. "john?!" after stumbling through some bushes, you find john brooding at a tree. "hey... what's wrong?" you frown, john scoffs. "nothing. go away." he grumbles, not even looking at you. "john, tell me." approaching him, you round him to look at his face. john goes to look away, but you touch his arm and his anger almost melts completely. "just go..." he begs, eyes meeting yours.
"talk to me." you reply, john sighs. "it's nothing. go have fun, sleep with sean. i don't care." you almost flinch back at his sour words. "john- what?" you furrow your brows, he laughs. "don't act dumb. you like him don't you?" john's question makes you laugh breathily. "of course i do, he's my friend."
"you know i don't mean it like that. you love sean, don't you?" john's arms cross over his chest, you feel rather taken aback. "what? no!" you laugh, but john's expression is serious. "john, you can't be serious... i mean, sean?" you try to get him to smile, but he seems genuinely upset.
"why does it matter anyway?" you ask, stepping a little closer so he'd look at you. "why does it- does any of this matter to you?!" john stands up fully, gesturing between the two of you. "john-"
"has all of this been some fuckin' fling whilst you waited on sean to come back?" he snarls, you back away slightly. "what?? john, no! i don't know what you're thinking right now but i can assure you, i don't love sean like that. he's like my brother." you reply, a tightening in your chest. "why are you being like this..?" you add on, john huffs out a laugh. "because i love you!"
silence covers the two of you; you blink at john as he looks away. "i should go-" he mumbles, but you stop him. "no, don't..." you don't know why, but your voice is equally as quiet. "john... why didn't you tell me sooner?" you frown. "i was gonna do it tonight, but sean made his grand entry." he pouts, glaring at a leaf on the floor. you laugh, and john looks up at you. "wha-?"
you lips meet his, and he almost jumps back until he realises what's going on. john melts into the kiss, his hands finding your hips as yours gently grasp his neck. "i love you too, john. not sean." you smile, john lets out a relieved laugh. "thank god. i felt like an idiot there." you giggle, kissing him again. "oi, lovebirds!" an irish drawl interrupts you. the two of you split, flustering. "this is what you ditched me for? i'm hurt." sean fakes hurt dramatically, you laugh. "alright, macguire. get your ass to your party." you laugh, the redhead rolls his eyes.
"don't go shaggin' now. i want my best mate wit' me tonight." sean wanders back to camp, leaving you and john alone. the two of you glance at each other before dissolving into laughter. john kisses you briefly a few more times, trailing them down your neck. you've never seen him so happy. "so..." you trail off, john meets your gaze with lovesick eyes.
"are we gonna put a stamp on this?" your fingers trace over his neck gently, john smiles. "if you wanna, i don't mind as long as we're together." he grins, his forehead bumping yours. "then it's official, but let's tell everyone at a different time. tonight's sean's night." you grin back, kissing him one last time before taking his hand. "c'mon, firecracker; before sean comes back and shoots us." you laugh, tugging your boyfriend back to camp.

How I played the buffalo hunt with Charles:
Arthur: now I'm not a good man but I've been trying to be a less bad one. Only shooting people who tried to shoot me first, stuff like that. This buffalo killer has his hands up and is begging for his life so I probably won't kill him.
Charles: I think you should kill him.
Arthur, a simp: right away Mr. Smith I am strangling him with my bare hands as we speak

Arthur, John, Dutch, Charles, Micah, Sean, and Kieran- “Their Insecurities”- SFW
ANONYMOUS REQUEST: Can I request a prompt where the reader is really in tune with the other persons mood, or something similar? like maybe Arthur, Kieran or John when they’re feeling insecure about themselves and reader comes in to make them feel better? Sfw please!
ABSOLUTELY. I love this request, thank you so much for sending this!! I hope you don’t mind me adding a few other characters that I thought would fit well with the prompt! Enjoy!!!
CONTINUES UNDER THE CUT
Arthur
-Well obviously the man has insecurities.
-As much as you push him to just talk to you, he never opens up about them.
-The only time he gets close to doing so is when he’s feeling particularly rough.
-This time you were sitting at the camp fire with the others. Javier was singing while playing his guitar, and after you tried (and failed) to get Arthur to dance with you, you sighed and went to someone else instead.
-Your alternative dance partner seemed thrilled at the offer, and the brunette frowned slightly as he watched you, the others ability to keep up with you souring his already bitter mood.
-He stood abruptly, sulking over to his tent.
-Of course you noticed, so you excused yourself and followed him.
-He was on his cot, pouting and scribbling something into his journal angrily.
-“You alright?”
-“I’m fine.”
-“I don’t believe that for a second.”
-“It’s nothing. Go back and dance with _____.”
-Ah, so that’s what it was. You sit down next to him on the cushion, and he shuffles awkwardly.
-“My love, it’s just a bit of fun. Besides, have you seen _____ dance? They’re terrible.”
-That seems to make him smile a bit, but it’s short-lived.
-“Wouldn’t you rather be with someone younger, though? Someone who can keep up with you, like Lenny, or Javier, or Karen?”
-“Arthur Morgan, are you breaking up with me?”
-He freezes, eyes widening as he finally turns to look at you fully.
-“Wh- No! No- I just- I know I’m not exactly a prize catch-“
-“Then be quiet, Arthur. I’m not interested in anyone else, because I love you. Ain’t nothin’ gonna change that.”
-He relents, and you don’t miss the sigh of relief as he melts into you, an arm snaking around your waist as he plays with a strand of loose hair.
-“Love you too, darlin’.”
John
-This is John we’re talking about.
-Naturally, after Abigail and him decided to separate, he’s felt inadequate in most aspects.
-Now that you’re together, he’s constantly asking you things that you know roughly translate to “do you still love me?”
-It would be amusing, and kind of endearing if you didn’t know the root of his insecurity.
-You were bandaging a wound on his arm that resulted from a job gone wrong. He was silent most of the time until you spoke up.
-“You’re awful quiet today.”
-“Sorry.”
-“What are you apologizin’ for?”
-He apologized again quietly, and you sighed, not knowing what you expected.
-“What’s on your mind, love?”
-He held back for maybe a second, before beginning his rambling. You simply listened, still holding his hand as he spoke.
-“I guess I’m just trying to ask, do you still like me?”
-you pretended to think about it, looking away from him and tapping your chin in mock-thought. He watched nervously until you looked back and rolled your eyes.
-“Yes, John, obviously I’m still in love with you.”
-He breathed a sigh of relief.
-“I know shit has happened between you and Abigail, and I know first hand how hard it is to let that kind of thing go, but I need you to understand I’m not gonna leave you, because you’re not the same man you were when you were together.”
-He sat, stone still as you spoke.
-“I love you, John, and I’ll tell you every minute of every day until it finally sets in.”
-You leaned forward, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips and squeezing his hand in yours. He smiled against you, and you pulled back so your foreheads were just touching.
-“I love you too, sweetheart, I’m gonna try to get better at all this.”
Dutch
-Most would scoff at the idea of Dutch having insecurities. I mean, it’s Dutch. The “man with a plan.” He’s untouchable, and confident, and strong.
-That doesn’t change the fact that he’s aging, and he knows that all too well. And yes, he’s often found himself worrying if he’s satisfying you. (Sexually or otherwise.)
-He would take that secret to the grave with him if you weren’t so good at picking up on when he’s in a bad mood.
-One afternoon, he thought he had some alone time. You were supposedly helping Charles with prepping some game for provisions, and Dutch had time to mope privately.
-He was currently standing in front of the mirror in his tent, the flaps drawn and fastened. His vest and button-down were folded over a chair as he stared at himself, brow furrowed and lip tucked between his teeth in a grimace.
-He turned to the side, lifting his shirt and pulling a face while he examined his gut that stuck out a bit too much.
-Suddenly the tent opened, and you stepped in. Dutch jumped slightly, and saw you smirking at him.
-“Just can’t get enough of yourself, huh?”
-He made a noise of mock amusement, and cleared his throat when you raised a brow.
-“You alright?” No, he was not alright. But the man knew you already knew that.
-“C’mere.” He did, and you took his face in your hands, brushing the hair out of his eyes carefully.
-“Dutch, love, you’re perfect. I hate seeing you mopin’ about like you ain’t.” The outlaw melted into your touch, humming.
-“Thank you for comforting me, my dear, I love you too.”
Charles
-Your boyfriend is a gentle giant. Everyone in camp is aware of that. Whenever help with manual labor is needed, he’s the first to offer his assistance.
-And as much help as Charles is to the gang, he isn’t immune to self-doubt. He sees all the work everyone puts in to help their small community, and he wonders if what he does is enough.
-More often than not, you’re there to settle his thoughts, but sometimes, his worries consume him, and he ends up isolating, like he is right now.
-The ravenette was seated on a log as he was on guard duty, and you approached him as you left the camp.
-“You okay, my love?” You asked, and sat down next to him, listening quietly as he told you about what he was thinking.
-“I just don’t know if I’m doing as much as I can for this group.” You shook your head, patting his arm comfortingly.
-“You do so much, love. I’m ashamed you can’t see that. I would give you the world if I could.”
-“Thank you, flower. It makes me happy to hear you say that.”
Micah
-Much like the leader, Micah doesn’t outwardly show that he has any insecurities.
-Unlike Dutch, however, he is more in the habit of pushing those insecurities onto others.
-You’re well aware of this, so you and Micah sat down together one day and discussed ways to remedy his unhealthy behavior.
-It’s taken time, but the plan seems to be working. He hasn’t been picking on anyone, even Arthur, (much to the blondes chagrin) even half as much as he used to.
-But one evening, after supper, you left Pearsons wagon after helping clean to look for Micah. When you couldn’t find him for nearly ten minutes, you began to worry.
-Eventually, you catch him out of the corner of your eye over by the horses, talking animatedly to Kieran. You could only assume what he was doing, and made your way over as fast as possible.
-“Micah! Leave the boy alone!”
-That got his attention, and he spun around to look at you, knowing you caught him red handed.
-“Apologize. Now.”
-He did, albeit reluctantly, and you gave Kieran an embarrassed nod before dragging Micah off to his tent.
-“What’s going on? Why were you picking on Kieran?”
-Micah looked away, pouting, before turning back to you.
-“Was just messin’ around with him..”
-The look you gave him made him rephrase.
-“I was just.. Jealous of you spendin’ time with him. When you went fishin’.”
-You sighed, and pulled him into a lazy hug, petting his hair.
-“Kieran and I are just friends. It’s difficult to be in a gang and not get along with people. You know that better than most, love.”
-He scoffed, rolling his eyes, and you kissed his temple gently.
-“I love you, Micah. Sooner you know that the better.”
-A sigh, and he melted into your embrace.
-“You too, sunshine.”
Sean
-He hides it well, with his friendly, lighthearted demeanor, but the redhead often frets over whether he is good enough for you.
-Often times, he doesn’t bat an eye at you when you ask how he’s feeling, typically waving it off with a joke.
-But sometimes, when he decides to go heavy on his drinking, (he always does, but some nights are heavier.) his inebriated mood changes from drunken stupidity and flirtations to one more befitting of a man who has been through as much pain and suffering as he has.
-Every time, you will coax him back to your tent, and the Irish man will go on for hours, bringing to light each doubt and uncertainty in his heart.
-More often than not, you will spend the night with him, telling him everything you love about him, and simply letting him lay his head in your lap as you play with his hair.
-Come morning, he’ll have a massive hangover, and your boyfriend will apologize profusely to you for his ranting the night before, only for you to dismiss it.
-“My love, all I want is for you to be content in your own skin. I would happily comfort you every night like that if it were necessary, so please, don’t apologize.”
-Whenever you say things like that, Sean instantly tears up again, smothering you with kisses.
-“Oh god, what ever did I do to deserve this beautiful love of mine, and how do I make sure I never lose them?”
Kieran
-It’s Kieran. The boy has probably had insecurities since he was able to form coherent thoughts.
-Damn it all if you won’t do everything you can to make those thoughts disappear, though.
-Every chance you get, you’re leaning in, telling him how handsome he looks today, or how good of a job he’s doing taking care of the horses.
-It turns him into a red faced, blubbering mess each time, but to you, it’s worth it to make sure he knows you think the world of him.
-Whenever you leave camp without him, or the other way around, you find yourself thinking of the brunette more than anything else. You worry if he’s eating enough, sleeping enough, or if whoever he’s with is being kind to him.
-You know it makes you sound like an overprotective parent, but you’re aware of how much he’s been through, and you can’t help but want to look out for him.
-And heaven help the poor sod who decides it’s a good idea to pick on him. Even if you aren’t around to see it happen, you nearly have a sixth sense for when Kieran is upset, and you’re always able to get him to open up about whatever happened.
-One time in particular, you happened upon Micah harassing him, calling him disgusting names, and it took nearly five minutes, a broken nose, and a dislocated shoulder for both Arthur and Charles to peel you off of the blondes now-unconscious body.
-You always find yourself feeling guilty afterwards. Not for Micah, no, but for the way Kieran looks at you, an expression half between embarrassment and guilt that he created such a situation.
-The two of you end up sitting with the horses, your partner bandaging your bloodied knuckles in awkward silence as you both tried to think of something to say.
-“I’m sorry, my love, I just never want you to doubt that you’re the most precious thing in my life.”
-His face will redden, and he nods, leaning in when you begin to close the gap between you.
-“I know, sugar, I love you too.”

Arthur, Charles, John, Javier, and Kieran with “A reader that loves animals”- SFW
I thought the idea of a few of the boys with a reader who’s good with animals was real cute, so here we are :) Feel free to request a prompt or drabble in the comments (or in dm’s if you wish to remain anonymous!)
CONTINUES UNDER THE CUT
ARTHUR
-It’s Arthur. What do you expect? He’s instantly smitten.
-What seals the deal though, is when Hosea is looking around camp for you, and no one seems to know where you went.
-Naturally he steps in, offering to go out and find you.
-It only takes him about three minutes.
-As he was riding out of camp, he spots a group of five or six horses crowded around someone in a field.
-Arthur hitches his steed on a tree, approaching you and the small herd.
-Once in earshot, he hears you humming, and is close enough to see you brushing the horses.
-My god, there’s even one with a braided mane.
-Arthur has to resist getting down on one knee then and there.
-You realize him standing there and wave him over. He walks to you, and you smile brightly, handing a few peppermints to him for the horses.
-Arthur nearly falls to the ground as one particularly hungry mare shoved him to reach the sweets.
-The outlaw would’ve been embarrassed if your laugh wasn’t the most captivating thing he’d ever heard.
CHARLES
-As if he didn’t already think you were the most lovely person in the world.
-His heart nearly burst out of his chest when he walked past your tent and saw you cradling an injured rabbit kit.
-You kept the small animal, and Charles was almost always keeping an eye out for Micah when you would let it outside to explore.
-As of yet, the man hadn’t done anything, but Charles has heard him mumbling to Bill about “Why would they even keep it,” or “The only thing a rabbit is useful for is to make food with.”
-That being said, maybe the reason he hasn’t acted is because Charles would glare menacingly at him whenever he shared his thoughts on the situation.
-On the other side, Charles admires that you’re not afraid to go hunting with him.
-He’s practically enamored with you whenever he sees you skillfully removing the meat from a recent kill, making sure to take every usable part of the animal.
-All in all, there have been too many times to count where Charles has caught himself chuckling or smiling while you take care of the animals.
JOHN
-He’s not as much of an animal guy as the other two, but he would be lying if he said seeing you cuddling with his sons dog wasn’t the most endearing thing to him.
-Often times he finds himself staring at you, infatuated, when he catches you slipping the animal dinner scraps when you think no one is looking.
-Honestly, he also finds himself feeling slightly envious whenever you go down to the lake to bathe, and let Cain follow you.
-He would die before admitting to that, however.
-Multiple times, he’s had to be pulled off of Micah after the blonde would say something like “I wonder if they’d mind me comin’ to the lake with them too?” Or some other tasteless comment.
-But can you blame the man? He just wants you (and his sons pet, I guess,) to be happy and safe in the camp.
JAVIER
-Believe it or not, Javier is actually a big animal guy.
-The others in camp don’t know it, but that’s just because he hides it well.
-He has to hold back a smile whenever he sees you sitting on a log, with nearly half the hens in the coop sleeping soundly on or around you as you read a book.
-There’s been more than one occasion where the ravenette wakes up to find Boaz freshly groomed, with a new braid in his mane.
-He often finds extra sugar cubes and oat cakes in the steeds saddle bags, too.
-One time, Javier had barely made it back to camp after a particularly rough day; the abandoned homestead he had heard about was very much not abandoned, and the man barely made it off the property alive.
-Boaz didn’t have it as bad, but there was a exceptionally nasty gash on his back left leg where a bullet grazed him.
-After resting, Javier woke up the next morning to find you sleeping, leaned up against a bale of hay next to his horse, who had a fresh bandage on his leg.
-The outlaw let out an amused huff when he noticed the now empty basket in your lap, that he could only assume had apples or carrots inside before you fell asleep.
KIERAN
-Of course he’s already enraptured by your affinity with the horses.
-One hundred percent, he has woken up more than once from dreaming about owning a horse farm with you in the countryside, where neither of you had to worry about O’Driscolls or Pinkertons.
-Every time he does, he has to take a walk to clear his head, and it typically takes at least ten minutes to get his heart rate and body temperature back to normal.
-The most bewitching thing about you, though, (in his humble opinion,) is the way you quietly ask to accompany him any time he goes fishing.
-You never actually fish with him, which is fine by him. He honestly prefers just having another person with him over having to constantly reel in his line to avoid tangling with another fisherman.
-He finds that his heart skips a beat whenever he hears you squeal excitedly at finding something in the reeds, and almost always ends up abandoning his fishing rod to spend time with you in the ankle-deep water.
-The way your eyes light up when you find a frog, salamander, or crawfish is the most adorable thing to the brunette. He honestly has to catch himself before he nearly faints from being so overwhelmed by your charm.
-By the time you both head back, giggling and whispering to eachother, Kieran finds himself not even slightly phased by the idea of Arthur or Pearson nagging him for not bringing any fish back.
Yeah yeah, I’m sure you can tell who’s the favorite. Listen, Kieran is my beloved horse girl, and he deserved better, so I’m here to provide.

“Funny.” John Marston/Reader-18+
Reader and John have been dating a while, and go on a job with Charles and Arthur. After all is said and done, the group tells stories around the fire after setting up camp for the night, but things get heated between John and Reader when they think the other two can’t hear them
NSFW UNDER THE CUT
Even after all the shit Dutch has been putting the group through as of late, you personally were all for his most recent idea.
He sent you, John, Arthur, and Charles on a job in Saint Denis, mentioning something of an illegal poker room he had heard a rumor about. Though you had initially declined, explaining that a heist like that in the middle of a city was too risky, the stubborn man threatened to put you on guard duty for the next fourteen days; and, well, you were suddenly very interested in this gunsmith.
Making your way over to John first, you explained the job, and he seemed to be just as apprehensive as you were.
“You’re kidding, right? The last thing we need right now is our faces potentially posted on every street corner in a major city. You really wanna’ go through with this?” He asked, crossing his arms, and you shrugged, taking a step closer.
“Well, it’s that or I’ll be on late-night watch duty for two weeks, and personally, I’ll take those odds.” You reasoned, and leaned in to whisper in his ear.
“‘Sides, d’you really want to spend two weeks sleeping in an empty bed?” That last bit garnered a jolt from your partner, and he cleared his throat.
“I mean, I guess it ain’t that much of a difference to what we’re used to..” he mumbled, and you hummed happily, leaning away and looking around to make sure no one was watching the interaction. John clapped his hands together, rocking back on the balls of his feet.
“Ah, well, I’ll go let Arthur and Charles know then. I’ll catch you over by the horses in a few?” He asked, and you nodded, rubbing a hand over his shoulder soothingly.
“Alright, cowboy, just make sure you knock something over or make a lot of noise before opening that tent flap.” You said with a grin, and the dark brunette visibly cringed at the thought, waving you off as you laughed.
The ride into Saint Denis was fairly uneventful, boring, even, and the four hours you spent on your horse left you feeling saddle-sore. Even then, as you were hightailing it out of the city after robbing the store, you admitted to Arthur that the whole thing could’ve honestly been a two man job, perhaps even one man, as the two of you rode side by side with John and Charles taking the lead.
“I’m just sayin’, Dutch could’ve spent a little more time looking into the smith, and easily would’ve figured out a more efficient way of goin’ about this job.” You explained, and Arthur shrugged.
“Yeah, well, you know how the man is.” He reasoned, giving you excuse to roll your eyes once again during this conversation. You pulled a face, squinting and raising your eyebrows as you imitated your leader.
“Oh, Orthor’, I promise, just this last score, and we will be settin’ sail to Tahiti by the end of the week.” You drawled, deepening your tone as you mocked the older man. Arthur shook his head, but you caught the amused grin tugging at the corners of his mouth as he turned away. Straightening your back out, you rode in closer to swap places with Charles at Johns side.
“Darlin’, what d’you think, should we make camp for the night? S’almost sundown, and we won’t make it back until at least early mornin’; even if we don’t stop to give the horses breaks.” You offered, and John nodded in agreement.
“Yeah, yer’ probably right, let’s find us a spot to set up.” He replied, and you waved the other two men behind you over as John lead his horse off the road.
The trio had applauded you enthusiastically as you reached into your bag a while after camp was finished setting up, pulling out two unopened bottles of whiskey you had swiped while at the poker room. You now sat in a semicircle around the fire, passing around the first bottle as you told stories of past heists the four of you pulled.
“Well do you remember the time Arthur got himself locked in a storage room while we were robbing that old man’s stead?” Charles asked, looking to John for a response. Your partner looked deep in thought for a brief moment, before you saw his eyes light up at the memory.
“Right, right, I do! We ended up getting kicked out, and were almost to the horses when you said somethin’ like “oh god, Arthur’s still in the house!” Your mouth fell open as you listened, and the three of you laughed when Arthur grumbled in annoyance about “being the only one that took that run seriously.” A few moments passed in comfortable silence, the only sounds being the crackle of the fire, and the clinking of the whiskey bottle against a metal cup whenever more booze was poured. You hummed, remembering another account.
“Well, I know Johnny here won’t love me tellin’ you two this one, but there was this one time last winter when we had been on a job in the Grizzlies. This bloke in Strawberry told us a rumor about some hick’ family sittin’ on a few acres of land that had gold buried somewhere.” John groaned, putting his hand over his eyes, and you grinned, catching the way Charles and Arthur had both leaned in to listen to the story.
“We made it to the property alright, even scoped out how many folk were there. But of course, this one here was scarcely able to keep his hands to himself, and opted to waste valuable time in a tool shed rather than actually focus on the task at hand.” Another sound of annoyance, and you rolled your eyes.
“Long story short, he can’t keep quiet to save his damn skin, either, and we had to run like hell from a hailstorm of bullets, all while naked as the day we was born!” You finished, and grinned as the couple across from you started cackling. John frowned, glaring at you with a red face.
“Ain’t funny. We had to crawl back to camp and come up with an excuse to explain to Dutch why we were coming back empty handed.” He pointed out, and you shrugged.
“Hey, it wouldn’t have turned out that way if you could keep it in your pants for more than five minutes around me.” You retort, and grin as you hear the other two still trying to stifle their laughter. With another eye-roll that had you convinced your boyfriends eyes would eventually end up getting stuck in his thick skull, John turned to his bag, pulling out some cured beef and a couple cans of vegetables for the group to cook and eat.
A few hours passed, and the others were settling down to go to sleep. You agreed to take first watch, and pressed a light kiss to Johns cheek before picking up your gun, and making your way toward the woods to find a spot to lean up against a tree. Hanging your rifle over your shoulder, you absentmindedly tugged at the frayed edges of your coat. The night was almost eerily silent, even the sound of crickets chirping being muffled. With the fire now just smoldering embers, the moonlight seemed bright enough to see nearly every detail carved into the otherwise darkened forest. You stood still for what felt like it could have been minutes or hours, letting the quiet of nature blanket you, when you heard a branch snap.
Tilting your head out past the tree trunk, you rolled your eyes at Johns futile attempt at being stealthy.
“Tryin’ to sneak up on me, Marston?” You whispered, keeping quiet in hopes of not waking the other two members of your party. You heard the man scoff.
“I already know I’d need to be much more careful to get the jump on you, what with your super-human hearing.” He hummed, and you grinned, shrugging as he came and leaned against the tree next to you.
“You still mad about earlier?” You asked, raising a brow, and the brunette huffed a laugh, shaking his head.
“Nah, it isn’t like I don’t have my fair share of embarrassing stories about you, darlin’.” He responded, and you pulled a face, nodding.
“Touché. I better watch my back then, huh, cowboy?” You questioned, a suggestive lilt in your tone that earned a surprised look from your partner. He glanced between you and the direction of the camp, barely twenty feet away.
“What, you too yellow ta’ take me tonight?” You hummed, leaning in and whispering the words directly into Johns ear as you trailed a hand up to tug at the baby hairs on the back of his neck. He shuddered, and you grazed your teeth over the sensitive skin between his jaw and throat.
“I ain’t..” he argued, and you grinned against his rapidly heating flesh, letting his hands wander all over your body.
“Then do it, cowboy.” You ordered, and he grunted quietly, lifting your chin with his index finger so he could capture your lips. You allowed him to turn you around, and braced yourself against the tree with one hand as you held him flush against your back with the other. John worked quickly to undo the fastening on the layers shielding your torso from him, letting your jacket fall to the ground and clearly getting too impatient to fully remove your shirt.
He opted for sliding it halfway off, moving on to tug open your belt and push your pants and briefs down over your rear.
“Get on with it, don’t worry about getting me ready, I prepped earlier this mornin’.” You explained, and the outlaw groaned against your bare shoulder, laving his tongue across your skin and peppering you with kisses.
He pulled away, and you listened as his clothes rustled, feeling his length resting heavy over the small of your back not too long after. You shoved your hand into the pocket of your bunched-up jeans, grabbing the tin of oil and lathering it onto your hand before reaching behind you and wrapping your fist around Johns cock.
His hips bucked, and you squeezed him tightly around the base when he moaned a bit louder than he should be.
“Keep quiet, or your brother might just catch us.” You hissed, and decided not to comment on the way his dick jumped at the prospect of getting caught fucking you. Again.
You let go of him, and your muscles thanked you as you returned to a less strained position. You felt his cock drag back over your ass, and tried not to move around too much when he would slide it over your hole repeatedly, the oil slicking up the skin on it’s way.
“Quit teasing.” You ordered, and John grunted in response, pulling back and slowly pushing in. You clenched your jaw, keeping quiet as every inch stretched you open. You whimpered as he leaned in, whispering encouragements into your ear until he bottomed out.
“So good for me, baby. Taking my cock so well.” You keened at the praise, eyes fluttering shut when he drew almost completely out of you before pushing back in slowly.
The brunette picked up the pace, thrusting in and out of you rhythmically while teasing your nipples with both hands around your front.
“J-John-“ you gasped, mouth hanging open as your nails splintered the tree bark. He cooed into your ear, hushing you gently.
“Shh, I know, baby.” He whispered, and his thrusts sped up, getting more rough. Your breathing hastened, and you felt pressure building up as your eyes snapped open. Your orgasm crashed over you in waves, jolts of pleasure tingling as John kept going, driving you to being almost overstimulated. He thrusted one last time, stilling inside of you as he climaxed.
After both catching your breath, he helped you straighten out your clothes, cleaning you up as best he could with limited supplies at hand.
“Here, come back over to the camp and we can get some water to clean you up better.” He offered, and you nodded, following him for a few steps before colliding with his back when he stopped in his tracks.
“The hell are you doing?” You snapped, but trailed off when you looked over his shoulder, seeing Charles and Arthur sitting at the campfire that was now back up and burning. Arthur glanced up at you both with a thoroughly unimpressed look.
“You two make it pretty difficult to sleep y’know.” He drawled, exhaustion evident in his voice. You cleared your throat, shrugging.
“Don’t look at me, it was his fault.” You claimed, and sauntered back over as naturally as you could while trying to seem like you weren’t just getting your guts rearranged by his brother. A pause, and suddenly John was back to his usual, argumentative self.
“That’s not how-“ He stomped after you.
“They’re lying- that’s not what happened-“ he explained, and Arthur just shook his head in exasperation, picking back up the mug he was drinking from. Charles grinned, and he grabbed a the kettle off the grate over the fire, picking up another cup.
“Chamomile tea?” He asked, directed towards you, and you nodded, thanking him. John perked up, leaning in.
“Can I have-“
“No. You’ve got next guard duty, Marston, and we don’t need you fallin’ asleep on us and getting everyone killed if some asshole comes ridin’ in.” Arthur snapped, cutting him off. John groaned, and you offered an empathetic smile, only receiving an annoyed look in return as he picked up his own water skin and took a few chugs.
“Funny,” you started, and the three turned to look at you curiously.
“You would think he’d be in a better mood after getting to fuck me.” You continued, and smirked as John spit out his water in shock, Arthur and Charles simply shaking their heads in amusement.
“What? I feel like good sex would put anyone in a good mood.”

Imagine; Falling asleep on their shoulder- SFW
With: Arthur, John, Charles, Sean, Kieran, Javier, Lenny, and Bill.
Arthur Morgan
Arthur was half-listening to another of Uncle’s stories, leaned back against the log you were both propped up against, when he felt something drop onto his shoulder. About to shove whoever it was off, he froze upon seeing you leaned against him, eyes shut as you finally gave in to the rest you so needed. Glancing back at the group, the brunette rolled his eyes as he watched Pearson holding out his hands for the other three men to reluctantly shove a few bills into.
John Marston
After nearly three hours of guard duty, you were practically thanking God when Bill came to relieve you from your post. You made your way back to camp, pulling up a chair at a table next to John and watching him play blackjack with Lenny. A few games in, you already felt your eyes drifting shut, and ended up with your cheek pressed against Johns shoulder.
He finally looked up at you, eyes widening slightly as he realized what had happened. Looking back to Lenny, he groaned as the younger man offered a smug grin, picking up the game where they left off.
John was stuck in the same spot until long after Lenny had ended the game.
Charles Smith
You begrudgingly had agreed to going hunting with Charles after a fair amount of his insistence, and the mountain of a man quickly realized why you never asked or were asked to go hunting. Most of your day was spent tracking down a deer multiple times after you had scared it off from clumsily snapping a branch underfoot.
The man finally had enough and (as nonchalantly as possible) asked if you would be interested in foraging some ingredients for Pearson. Luckily, he was well aware that you knew your plants and fungi, and didn’t have to worry about you bringing back something potentially poisonous to camp.
What he wasn’t prepared for, however, was when you were practically falling asleep standing up when he returned to your shared horse with a deer on his shoulder. Albeit after a bit of your stubborn complaining, though, he was able to convince you to sit in front of him on the ride back and rest against his front, so he could make sure you wouldn’t fall off the horse.
You spent the ride back cuddled against him with one of his arms around your midsection protectively.
Sean Macguire
He was telling some story to the group, another one of the life lessons his Pa’ taught him. The Irishman was aware that his stories bored you half to death, but he only stopped speaking momentarily when you nodded off, leaning over and weighing in on his side. He tucked an arm around you, fixing your jacket so it covered you more, and was launching himself back into his story telling.
What the redhead didn’t realize, was the smile spreading across your face as he fussed over you and made sure you were comfortable.
Kieran Duffy
The poor man. You had been teasing him nearly all day already, and he finally caught a break when you walked off to spend time with Miss Jones, saying something to him about helping the ladies with a few chores that needed doing.
He was taking a break from tending to the horses at the moment, leaned up against a tree with the brim of his hat shielding his eyes from the afternoon sun. Just as his eyes were closing, he felt a “thump” on the grass next to him, and looked up just in time to see you getting onto the ground and laying your head in his lap gingerly.
“Hey, Kieran, you don’t mind if I join you, right?” His heart raced, his pulse only evening out when you grinned, eyes fluttering shut as you fell asleep(?)
Wait- now you were asleep! Good lord, you would be the death of him.
Javier Escuella
He’s been tuning his guitar. Or at least, that’s what he had been doing before you came over and removed the instrument from his grasp, setting it on a table nearby and replacing its spot in the ravenettes’ lap. Any other time, Javier would have immediately began flirting with you the moment you took his guitar, but the obvious fatigue in your face silenced him, and he didn’t object to the embrace for even a second.
After a few minutes, he started humming in your ear, gently rocking as his voice carried a light melody.
Lenny Summers
It was a long day. You, Lenny, and Sean had set out to rob a stagecoach, and as fate would have it, the lockbox in the back was actually molded into the carriage, and the three of you decided it was a better idea to steal the entire stagecoach rather than waste time trying to crack open a lock box, or make noise using bullets.
Luckily enough, Sean recalled Arthur telling him about a fence near Valentine that would buy stolen stagecoaches, and your trio made their way through the countryside. Lenny had just stopped the carriage to swap places with Sean for a break from steering, and took a seat next to you.
You were already asleep, and the young man internally cringed at the angle your neck was at as you rested, debating on moving you into a more comfortable position. Before he could entertain the idea, though, the wagon hit a rock, and you jolted, falling over and into Lenny’s careful embrace. Had he known you would snuggle into him, he would have simply steadied you in your seat.
Bill Williamson
You were both sitting in the Rhodes jail, waiting for Sheriff Gray to finish looking over the bail money and paperwork so you could bring Uncle home before the weekend. Of course, the old fool had drank too much at the saloon and gotten a bit too friendly with a waitress.
Bill was currently mulling over what to say to Uncle once he was free to go, imagining each scenario in which he would get away with at least one punch to the jaw. His train of thought was cut off, however, once you toppled over on the bench and into the mans side. He caught you, and put an arm around you to keep you steady as you nodded off.
