(Hope you don’t mind that I made it third person, it’s easier to write for me)

Shisui:

He won’t say anything to her until he knows it’s going to work. Relationships are impactful in everyday life and as much as he wants one that doesn’t mean he can handle one that won’t go anywhere

He’ll watch her for awhile. Gauge how she reacts to certain things and how she carries herself - he wants to get a feel for her personality

Something he notices is that she hesitates in many ways. Certain things she says she’ll second guess and her actions she might wait until it’s too late

She’s very happy and he loves that. It’s something to look forward to in his day. He struggles with keeping up a joyful facade but seeing her simply love the life around her makes the mask real. He doesn’t have to worry about analyzing and making plans

Over time he’ll start latching onto that happiness, it’s a trait he doesn’t want to go without, so if she’s particularly insecure that day he goes out of his way to validate her - through telling her the ideas she’s given are intelligent, to saying that her hair that day looks particularly nice, seeing her insecure makes him anxious. It feels like the balance in the world is tipped but he’ll do anything to even it out

Naturally she falls for him. He’s an intentional charmer, but with her it was on accident. The first kiss was nerve racking. He was thinking of every possible negative outcome; what if he bites her lip? What if there’s too much tongue? What if there isn’t enough? He has to be perfect and he doesn’t realize until his lips touch with hers that he is perfect to her already

He’ll be more motivated to validate her body, mind and existence when a relationship is established. He’ll shoot down all negative thinking with such confidence she can’t help but believe him. Really, Shisui wouldn’t date her if he didn’t think she was everything he needed: perfection

How the Uchiha are when in love

I love that Uchiha feel so much strongly than your average person so here’s how they feel when in love

Madara: knows that love is vital and important on a fundamental level, genuinely wants to feel it but what the environment of war has put him through taints his mind so he tells himself that he’ll never be loved and never love himself for it will destroy them and him. Envious of those who will put their heart on their sleeve but not stupid enough to allow himself to do it because of his loss and suffering. The benefit of love is just too unreliable for him but he’ll obsess in his mind, never making any move.

Izuna: gets mean. He likes to never acknowledge how he’s feeling because 1. He doesn’t understand it always 2. Romantic love is not important. He’ll feel the butterflies bubble up inside his stomach and what comes out of his mouth is not kindness nor vomit but insults and venom. Hates feeling vulnerable and any connection he’ll sever. Love is something that will stab you from behind and watch as you bleed to death. He’ll have none of that.

Fugaku: is actually the most sane one here. He gets nervous and because it’s such a foreign feeling for him he gets a bit colder than he usually is. He knows logically that he’s in love but emotionally it’s hard for him to let himself feel it, he doesn’t think it’s something he deserves or focuses on but it ends up taking a lot of space in his mind. Is more chill around them without realizing it. Is quite jealous but he won’t make any schemes, he’ll sit and wait for them to come to him.

Obito: He has the views of nihilism and the idea that love will tear your lungs out from your chest as you gasp for breath before it gives you air to live. He doesn’t have the logical aspect of Madara so he fully believes wearing your heart on your sleeve is the easiest way to die. In the short moments where he sits within himself though, he gets physically ill. He’s unable to handle how strong his emotions are and in turn it puts him in fight or flight but he ends up puking. He’ll be on his hands and knees shaking in the corner from dehydration due to vomiting.

Sasuke: doesn’t want anything to do with the source of his feelings. He’d rather cut his arm off before he lets it touch the one he yearns for. Runs from his emotions and will never acknowledge until it’s beaten into him. He’s subconsciously scared of being vulnerable with anyone and puts a cold and mean face on to lead people astray from his genuine emotion.

Itachi: sorrowful and shy. Standoffish though. He knows what he’s feeling and doesn’t act irrationally, which makes him seem aloof and uncaring. Is rather cautious but his kind and trusting nature can override that which can make him believe they’ll never do anything to hurt him. As logical as he is, his love is delusional, childlike even.

Shisui: one of the most secretly unhinged and possessive here. Isn’t afraid of love because it’ll destroy him but rather that he can’t control them. He’s kind and loving, but he’s spent too many years being what other people want and need, he doesn’t even know himself enough to let anybody know him though the parts he does know he doesn’t like. The jealousy, the possessiveness, the need of control. He’ll spiral if he doesn’t have control, but he wants love so badly it aches. So sat in the idea that it’s hopeless because all people die, that he won’t let himself genuinely love another person.

I’m gonna do headcanons here more frequently hopefully, so I wanted to update my rules!

The characters I write will depend on what I’m into at the moment, currently I’m rewatching Naruto so I’m mostly going to be writing for that right now but I will expand to my other interests when I revisit them.

Hi!! Sorry I’m so late, I was busy with school, the holidays, family etc. but I hope you enjoy this even though it’s late!

Madara

* Madara trains so hard to the point that his body may give out. This habit dissipated over time, but it was very prominent in his younger days, his brothers would always worry so much about him due to this

* He likes to eat inarizushi after training since it’s his favorite food (Izuna makes them for him)

* Madara does train with his Jutsus often, but he prefers to train with Kunai or Shuriken.

* Speaking of non chakra related weapons, he likes to train with every weapon he can find to be as versatile as he can on the battlefield. He thinks it “rounds his character”

* As much as he likes fighting, he’s not a huge fan of people watching him when he trains. He thinks it lets people figure out his weakness and destroy him with them (definitely not because it’s the same reason he can’t pee when someone stands behind him)

* If you were ever trained by Madara, get ready to be in so much pain after one day because that man does NOT go easy

Sasuke

* like Madara, he trains very hard. It’s not quite the same as him, but he likes to get his skills sharpened enough to where he likes them

* He gets easily frustrated with himself if he can’t figure out a certain technique or something isn’t perfected to his likening

* he doesn’t necessarily hate people watching him train, but he doesn’t enjoy it. Like Madara, he thinks people will figure out his weakness. He also gets distracted sometimes and easily flustered (he won’t admit it tho lol)

* Definitely eats tomatoes after training. Drinks a lot of water as well, sometimes he’ll put a lemon or lime and maybe even a cucumber into his water to “spice” it up a bit

* As much as Sasuke’s skilled with his Sharingan, it’s one of his least favorite things to train due to bleeding and the fear of becoming blind

* because of that, he also likes to train with weapons. Mostly his sword, but he does train with wire, kunai, shuriken, or fūma shuriken (large shuriken)

Emotional Niji; (this is if he had his emotions)

If you think Yonji has a difficult time adjusting to his emotions, wait until you hear about Niji

Doesn’t even try to figure out what he’s feeling, the fact that his body can’t make up its mind on what to feel pisses him off alone

He gets very angry at himself for that, and because of that he acts out a lot. It could be yelling at someone, breaking something, or hurting someone, you name it

If he does end up hurting someone, he’ll feel guilt but won’t understand what that means, and will just push it aside and act like it doesn’t exist

Basically, his first instinct is anger when it comes to his other emotions. He gets frustrated and the fact that he can’t make up his mind on what he wants and feels makes him very angry

After awhile when he became adjusted, he calms down quite a lot; he still has his anger issues, but he formed coping mechanisms for it

Like Yonji, he definitely looks up to his older siblings. Albeit he’s closer to Ichiji than Reiju, but he still thinks she’s badass as hell

Speaking of how close he is to Ichiji, after they both got used to emotions, they gradually began to become best friends

Instead of a thin feeling of love, Niji starts to actually care for Ichiji instead of looking at him as a comrade and leader.

They do pretty much everything together, if you didn’t know there were two other siblings, you would just think they’re twins!

Relationships aren’t as prominent to him as they are to Yonji, or Ichiji. He’s more of a one night stand type of guy, and although he has his emotions, he just never got the appeal for it

That’s not to say Niji isn’t interested though. After a long time with thinking about his sexuality (cuz he heard Yonji is bi so he got curious) he came to know that he is pansexual

He had no idea what that meant or that it existed until Reiju helped him, and BOY is he glad. Now he has even more people to swoon over

Out of the three, he’s the most insecure. Going back to his anger, it’s another way to cope with his insecurities

He has his emotions now, but he still thinks he’s weak by being insecure, so he denies it every time somebody’s brave enough to ask. Ichiji is the only one who knows how insecure he is tho

He cares deeply, but is too afraid to show it because he’s even more afraid of rejection (more so platonically than romantically)

Anger again!!! He’s an angry crier too! How much he cries depends on the person. If it’s someone like Ichiji, he’ll sob his eyes out in private for hours long, but if it’s someone insignificant to him like Luffy he’ll be upset for the most part and maybe will shed a few tears in private

I’m telling y’all, blue boy is insecure and he still can’t handle how much his emotions overflow when they’re talked about :(

He doesn’t get as worried as Yonji, but he’s definitely up there. Gone for a few hours? Nothing to worry about. Gone for two days? Getting nervous. Gone for a week? A wreck lol

Niji has codependency on people. He’s grown up with three other siblings and can’t imagine being alone.

He doesn’t even realize he has codependency until Reiju and Yonji are on a mission and Ichiji is in a meeting. He goes insane and gets ridiculously nervous. He hates being alone and becomes very afraid, and his insecurities and fears seep into his mind, and that’s why his siblings don’t leave him specifically alone

Overall, Niji is probably a 8/10 guy only because of his anger, but once he gets it under control goes to a 10/10

Absolutely!!

Shanks may be a funny and easy going guy, but when his lover has nightmares that man is comforting 100x over!

When his lover wakes up, he’ll be up and worried as hell about them

If it’s in the beginning of the relationship, he asks a lot of questions about their nightmare and how he can help them

If it’s been a long time, he’ll ask if they’re ok, but will go to action right after

He takes no time to make them feel better!

He’ll get them a cup of water and climb into bed with them, wrapping an arm around them and pulling them close so they can hear his heartbeat

As they snuggle, he’ll speak softly and crack a joke or two to lighten the mood a little bit, and when they’re comfortable enough, they’ll tell him about their nightmare

Shanks will constantly reassure them that they’re ok, and to take deep breaths as they speak

As they fall asleep, he’ll run his fingers through their hair and tell them all the things he loves about them (which is literally everything lol)

When they wake up the next morning, they’ll see shanks in the doorway with a goofy ass grin on his face covered with flour and the smell of something burning coming through from the kitchen

Emotional Yonji; (this is if he had his emotions)

If he ever got his emotions back he would be an absolute disaster in the beginning

Constantly trying to put a name to an emotion but can’t figure it out because he’s never felt it before

Really the most emotional out of the three Vinsmokes brothers

Even when he doesn’t have emotions he’s very expressive; when he has them it’s even more!! (i.e. will show what he’s feeling on his face and will say what he’s feeling, etc)

Due to him being a Himbo, his attraction to woman have lessened in regards to being overbearing like how Sanji is; very much loves women though!

Touching on sexuality, Yonji later realizes he’s bisexual and has a mid life crisis in his 20s lol

A sorrowful crier; when he starts to cry it doesn’t stop for a long time, he’ll sob for hours even if it was a minor thing. His crying is also very heart wrenching, just listening hurts your heart :(

A very angry guy, but it takes a lot to get him actually furious (insults just make him angry, and more of a “defending my pride” typa thing)

When he’s furious he tries really hard to talk about it but if the person that made him angry won’t listen he’ll get even more pissed

When he gets angry enough (after all of his yelling and his frustration) he’ll walk away due to being unable to handle the situation at that point

Takes many things to heart and is self conscious!! Not a good combo! He’ll stay up late thinking about what he’s upset about for hours and cry about it
