Number One Gun is a band that has been underrated since 2005. Jeff Schneeweis is the mastermind behind the greatness that is N.O.G., and he has no problem showing off his vocal chops in this phenomenal cover of "Treasure" by Bruno Mars.
Number One Gun recently released their fourth full-length album, This Is All We Know, and is definitely worth the listen.
Check out Jeff's other covers, including "Stay" by Rihanna and "Burn" by Ellie Goulding on his YouTube channel HERE

Jamison Murphy and Bean covered "Say Something" by A Great Big World recently, and we're pretty sure it's the best cover of this song out there. Murphy has made just a small dent in the YouTube community, but his clear vocals have him heading toward the top. Watch more of his videos here.

Some people say you shouldn't judge an artist by their live performances. But honestly, you should always judge an artist by their live performances. A good way to determine if a band is truly talented is how they can rock the stage. Are they relying on auto-tune to hit those high notes in recordings, or can they actually live up to expectations both in the studio and in real life? There For Tomorrow is a great example of a band, among countless others, that are truly, remarkably talented young guys. "Nowhere BLVD" is the second song off their third album, The Verge. In this video, they show that, if you can't record it, don't perform it. The band is set to release another EP this month that's sure to impress, and we can't wait. Click here for a teaser.

Although it’s been a year since its release, we still think “Silver” by the Houston-based pop-rock band Waterparks rules. The band has been around since the summer of 2011, making a name for themselves in the local scene. They never disappoint with their releases & always give their fans a taste of something new and vibrant. This is a band you’ll want to start listening to, or at least have on your party playlists.

Rita Ora shows off her vocal chops in this slowed-down, shortened version of "Hey Ya" by Outkast. There's nothing we can criticize about this cover except for the fact that it's not long enough. Rita has recently been named a Woman of the Year by Harper's Bazaar, and she will star as Mia in the upcoming movie based off the popular book Fifty Shades of Grey. Keep an eye out for this superstar, 'cause she isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

At age 27, Artist and Musician Harana Zhang is well on her way to establishing a solid presence in the music industry. The successful model and pre-med student turned soulful siren, exudes a free-spirit and fresh energy in all of her artistry. A Chinese native, Harana moved to the United States in 1997. Still young and bright, she began to find her own illumination among the lights of New York City. After high school, she studied Health Science as a pre-med student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she received her Bachelor’s. It was during this time that she found and discovered her passion for music. Above is Harana’s cover of ‘Get Lucky'  by Daft Punk.
What do you have planned for the future with your music career?
I am currently working on my EP along with gathering inspiration from recreating some of the most popular songs out, and I am constantly surrounding myself with like minded creatives. My first EP will release in 2014 with all original songs. With the release of my new EP a mini tour will be lined up, and hopefully I will be performing in a city near you.
Top 3 influences/inspirations and why?
I am constantly inspired by the art of other creative beings. Whether if it’s a song, a dance, or a piece of painting - they all have been at some point a spark for my song writing, instrument learning, or adventuring into something completely new with my music. The song writing development part came started developing when I was going through different stages in life. As they say, song writing is the easiest when you are going through hardships. It’s another insight about life I learned that the struggles we go through in life can be viewed as either a nightmare or an inspiration.
Advice to anyone wanting to further themselves in the music industry?
My advice to anyone wanting to further themselves in the music industry is to follow the music and the rest will come through. I believe in the law of attraction and as long we put forth good intentions towards something we want, the universe will bring what we manifested to us. We need to be multi-taskers, while we are working on advancing our music career we should always grind with other creative projects.
What first triggered your interest in starting a career in music?
I knew I wanted to build a career in music when I started playing my songs to my friends over the past two years and they would say things like “You really should get these songs out there, it has a unique sound and I think people will like your music.” I went through a year of just focusing on getting better at the guitar, learning new songs to cover and the next thing I started to notice was that I was surrounded with other musicians, creatives, and goal getters. Over the last year I have developed so much more than I would have ever had on my own.

They can’t stop, and they won’t stop. Bastille, a nearly 4-year-old band from London has hit it big in the UK, and they’re easily making their way up the U.S. charts with hits like “Bad Blood” and “Pompeii”. A play on 8 Mile’s theme song “Lose Yourself” starts this cover out right, as vocalist Dan Smith shows off his innate ability and adds his sultry British accent to each verse. Three minutes in, and Miley is jokingly urged to not break her father’s “achy breaky” heart, which adds even more hilarity to the song. Accompanied by a violinist, cellist, and fitting harmonies, Bastille not only owns the night, but owns this song. To hear more by the band, their album is available on Spotify, iTunes, and on their website, http://www.bastillebastille.com
