The kid got thrown into a world that was like- his favourite thing coming to life, lost his sister, was alone for a while, went through so much, got out of it, met Hazel, only to be thrown back into shit AGAIN, had to deal with being outed and just queer feelings in general (being raised catholic, IN 1940s ITALY), started to bridge off again, met someone who loves him dearly and is finally starting to *heal*

When Nico was younger, he was an absolute menace when it came to playing and collecting mythomagic cards.

When I say this, I mean;

People that he hung around who would play, especially older kids, would let the others borrow their higher ranked cards to use, in trust that it’d be given back. When it came to Nico receiving these cards, he would not give them back, in fact, he would gaslight them into thinking that they told him he could keep the card, like the shit disturber he is. Telling them things like,

“No? What do you mean I had to give it back? You never said that.”

He ended up with about four or five of these special cards, until his little scheme was found out and they wouldn’t allow him to ‘borrow’ cards anymore.

Nico is a HUGE gossip, he uses the fact that no one really notices him to listen in on conversations, whether he keeps the information for himself or shares it with Will, Piper and Leo is another story.

But, he lives for it, sure, he doesn’t consider himself to be a gossip but his friends know that he is. The first time he started going on and on about some random camp drama he heard everyone kind of just stared in shock because,

“Where the fuck did this kid learn to speak so much?”

He ended up going on a multi-hour rant about random shit he heard.

Random Solangelo HC:

Nico is a great cook, no one knows where he picked it up, some say its just in his genes, but that can cook. Give him the ingredients for something and he will figure it out. You want a mock recipe from your favourite restaurant? He will recreate it and it ends up being better. Most of his skills are more homemade based though. He prefers to make things fresh, breads, pastas, you name it. The only thing he really buys thats already made are for Will and his ‘lazy days’ or McDonalds.

Will on the other hand, yeah he can cook, but basic meals, but if you stick him in-front of a grill? You will be eating the best steak or rack of ribs you’ve ever had. Whatever skills Will has comes from, as he refers to it, “his southern charm”. (Nico will just laugh at him and say he’s a dork). Another one of Wills specialties is baking, he uses it as a coping mechanism when the infirmary gets too overwhelming some days.. which has lead to him gaining a proficiency.

Enter those two in a cooking competition and you are beat, might as well quit because those two are winning. Separately they’re already both great at what they do, but enter them in a contest where they get to use those skills competitively? They’re taking first, second AND third place.
