CONFESSIONS AND FIRST DATES (Hyde coffee talk)

it was a typical day in your cafe, silver and amanda had just left to prepare for their upcoming trip they planned. you were really happy for them truly, but you would miss silver's presence.

lost in thought, you suddenly notice a pale slim finger tapping the counter. you look up to see the gothic model that you have grown to become fond of throughout the time of his visits.

"mr. hyde! sorry about that, i zoned out. what is new with you?"

he smirks and rests his face in his hands. "hm. i noticed. not much is new with me though, but are you alright? hope i wasn't i interupting anything important" he said with a chuckle.

you blush awkwardly at that. hoping he hadn't been waiting for you to refocus on real life for too long. he was quite stand-off ish and wary when you had first met but after the few months you have known him he has warmed up to you. he is a special customer to you. (but don't tell freya that.)

"no..sorry, i was just reflecting on some stuff. anyhow enough about me, would you fancy a drink?"

you could see his smirk grow a bit wider through his hands before he put his hands down and picked up his phone. "just my usual, you remember it right?"

you nod and he smiles once again before typing on his phone. you quickly busy yourself with his drink. you gently cut the ginger into fine slices before mixing into the sweet hibiscus mix. you pour it into a freshly cleaned cup before turning around. you notice that he was staring attently as you made his drink. you smiled at him before placing it on the counter for him.

"here you go, one zobo."

he gently picks up the cup before taking a sip, letting the flavour of the drink sink in. he hums before speaking again.

"good girl. i am a little suprised you remembered" he says with a smirk

you blush at the nickname before shooting back with a coy smile "how could i forget my favourite customers drink? it's not like you don't spend a lot of time here afterall. i can't tell if you come for the drinks or to visit me." you tease back at him.

for the first time, you notice a pale yet subtle blush spread across his face. his complexion quickly turning a light crimson. but before you can mention it however he nervously coughs and takes another sip of his drink. you make sure to store that memory to tease him about later..

he quickly busies himself doing something with his phone, seemingly typing agressivly to someone. he seems to have no more interest in speaking so you turn around to busy yourself with some leftover dishes from some earlier customers.

after about 5 minutes, you dry your hands and turn around to check on your customer. you are met with his gaze staring deeply at you as if he was long in thought. you feel a little nervous under his glare but you try to disregard it but when you go to retrieve the now finished drink you gently graze your hand on his. this seems to snap his out of it as he quickly looks up at you standing above him. you look down at him as you both just stare at eachother as if you were both scared to move.

from this view, you can see the makeup adorning his face. the concealer he had on under his eyes slightly fading so you could catch just a glimpse of his tired eyes. his skin looked incredible as if he keeps good care of it, you always wished you had effortless skin like his. as your eyes move over his face his blush gets deeper and deeper, but you assume by now your own face was bright red as well. you could just barely hear the quick and soft breaths coming from him, you were quite thankful nobody else was here right now as it would be quite the sight to see. the soft music in the background completely tuned out as you just focus on him.

you quickly realize how close and awkward it was, so you shakingly begin to pull away from him. before you can move far though you feel a warm hand grabbing your apron. you notice how he is no longer sitting and is pressed against the countertop standing so he can reach you. you feel yourself get pulled back before feeling a gentle warmth touch your cheek.

oh shit, he just kissed your cheek

you immediately lose all composure accepting that it is much to difficult to act unaffected by this.

you softly whisper his name in suprise as you look at the ground as if avoiding his gaze. his grip on you softens as he shakingly lets you go.

"i..i am so sorry. i had better leave...thank you for the drink." he stutters out nervously as he quickly gathers his belongings. you stare at him in awe of what had just happened.

before he can leave however you reach out and grab onto his dress shirt, he turns around startled.

"...can i at least get your number..? incase you ever want to talk outside of the cafe you know?"

he looks suprised but he nods as he writes down his own number on a peice of paper.

"here. this is my personal phone...sometime we should go out for food, if you want to of course." he says calmly with a soft smile that is rare to see

you nod and smile back at him "i would love that..have a good rest of your night Hyde."

he relaxes and smiles back at you before walking out of the cafe.when the room was empty, you slumped down onto one of the benches and softly laughed. looking forward to your next encounter with the mysterious vampire. you save his number and send a quick hello text.

soon after, your phone softly beeps.

alone (chamber x reader) (hurt/comfort)

a/n: im writing this in a super bad episode, if it sucks im sorry. i just need some sort of comfort right now and with this i can pretend i have someone who cares about me. i can pretend that someone actually notices that i am hurting.

tw: sh (hitting self, nothing gorey), severe depression, depressive episodes

when chamber returned to your shared living space, he was not expecting to be greeted to the suffocating silence surrounding the house.

"mon ange? are you here?" he called out but recieved nothing back. had you gone out on a mission?

he set down his items on a counter nearby and approached the bedroom. as he got closer he heard the small sounds of shuffling. when he sat right outsid ghe door, he heard the shaky heavy breathing on the other side just barely audible.

he frowns and worry crosses his face, he knocks on the door immediately.

"darling...? what's wrong? can you please let me in..?"

when you open the door, he lets out a soft gasp as he takes in your appearence. tear stains are present and running down your face from your exhausted dark eyes, just behind you he can see a bunch of little items thrown around as if an animal had ran through the room. he looked around before noticing the soft purple bruises forming on your arms. he nearly started crying then and there.

"mon dieu..what happened mon couer?" he says quietly as if he were trying not to spook you. as he takes in the state of you and the room, you begin crying harder. you messed up HIS space...he is going to be so mad...heisgoingtoleavemeand-

you feel two hands on your shoulders attemptijg to ground you. "hey hey...listen can you follow my breathing for me love?" he says as he pulls you into his chest so you can hear his breathing.

as you mimic his breathing, he softly praises you. "good job...thats it. i'm so proud.."

the only sound in the room is the two of you's soft breathing with the occasional sniffle. he loving rubs your back as he whispers softly into your hair.

"do you feel any better now dear?" when he feels your slow nod into his shoulder he smiles and hugs you tighter.

when you pull away from him, his rests hos hand on your cheek and slowly caresses his thumb over it.

"..do you want to talk about it..? it's alright if not. just tell me what you need."

"i just...why can't i be good at anything...? you have your gun designs...i just have nothing i am good at. i can't draw, or fight, or even be good at video games.."

"oh dear...i'm sorry you feel like that...i promise you that your "thing" will come soon alright? you don't have to be perfect for me or anyone else. now, can i ask where the bruises came from...? ....did you do that?"

seeing you shakily nod is all he needs before he grabs your arm and kisses it softly

"oh honey...why? you need to be careful. i love you so much ok? if you ever feel like this again please call me..i don't want you to suffer through this alone.." he says in a shaky tone you have never heard before. he sound...scared. observing the room around him, he can tell in your throwing match with the random trinkets that you had hit yourself on various items..his heart nearly shattered. when he hears you small muffled apology, he sighs.

"you have no need to be sorry, i am simply happy you are safe...now, what can we do to get this off your mind hm? would you like to watch that new show you told me about?" he said as he gave you a caring gaze.

the rest of the night was spent cuddling on the bed, you quickly fell asleep feeling drained from the stress. when you woke up, the room was tidy and you were pressed gently into his bare chest as he rubbed your back and let out soft breaths into your hair.

"you are not alone anymore mon amour. please, if you need lean on me. i will support you."

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

he is a quiet person, at first you two would simply sit in comfortable silence, but he will soon be more talkative with you once he knows he can trust you! being his best friend would involve a lot of nights spent in his workshop watching him work. he would totally make you upgrades as a gift too.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

he hasn't recieved physical touch in a long time. you will notice him tensing up at each touch at the beginning. but don't assume that means he doesn't like it. he really feels comforted by your gentle touches but he just needs to readjust to being loved in a physical manner.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

yes, he definitely is dating to marry. he will cook meals he used to make all the time for you! he is an amazing cook too, expect him to cook you fancy foods and serve you exquisite teas. bbbuuutttt he is not the best at cleaning however...(just take one look at his workshop for gods sake.)

E = Emotions (how well can they handle their emotions? what affects them the most?) (i changed this one !!!)

he has a lot of trauma, he doesn't really have any coping methods for it though besides pushing it (and others) away. he will need time to emotionally recover from the loss of his family. but with you by his side he feels more hopeful than ever.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

he was married before, he would be willing to tie the knot with someone of which he is deeply bonded too. he would likely wait for you to propose, he doesn't want to rush you. and if you see a wedding ring sitting waiting on his desk? you saw nothing :)

soft boi....he cares so much for you. he couldn't bear to lose you like he lost nora. he is physically and emotionally gentle. he is constantly careful of your personal boundaries and makes sure you are taking care of yourself. he treats you as if you are the most delicate piece of china on a shelf. absolutely nothing will be hurting you as long as he is there to protect you.

he has...experience... with kids. he knows how to raise and treat them. this man is the absolute best with children, he goes full father figure mode and absolutely loves to just pamper the child. he would love to have kids one day again....

you curled up into his chest, his mask thrown lazily on the ground beside you. you can feel his soft and steady breaths on your face. his curly dark brown hair completed mussed up. you can feel his prickly shaved chin leaning against your forehead as you softly kiss his hand which had migrated to your back.

at night, he probably is up working while you are in bed. once he finished his work or you successfully convince him to join you. he will hold onto you until you fall asleep. on some nights however you may wake up to an empty bed, due to his sleeping issues and occasional nightmares he sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night. he can usually be found in the kitchen space though, drinking tea while reading a book.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

he is scared to let you in, lets be honest. he doesn't want what happened to his family to ever happen to you. he cannot go through that pain again. he is very hesitant and it takes him a while to open up, but he will eventually. he just needs time.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

he is super patient, if something was wrong he would he waiting by your side for you to be ready. if someone was being rude to you? he would tell them off in a calm manner as to not create any issues for you.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

he pegs me as the kinda guy who keeps like a google doc of everything you like (i do that-) he wants to make sure he remembers what you like and dislike and what you say! he loves when you remember the small things he mentions, it makes him feel cared for.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

your first date. it probably went to shit because the other agents kept interuptting and messing around with you two. but he will never forget the afterwards. you both had gone up to the rooftop to escape the younger chaotic agents when you noticed a gorgous star show in the sky. when you sat down together, you had half his jacket draped over you as he huddled closer towards you shyly. he watched your features glow under the moonlight and that is when he fell HARD.

protective as fuck. he lost his family to kingdom, he refuses to lose you as well. he doesn't care if it means he has to sacrifice himself to protect you. as long as you are safe. he definitely watched from afar to make sure you are safe and well.

he puts a lot of effort in. he meticulously plans each date and activity you two do together. of things are not perfect he fears you would be dissapointed, but he just needs some reassurance that any moment spent with him is perfect enough. (thats so cheesy ewww)

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

he gets super competitive...in chess he absolutely loves to destroy everybody and rub it in. if he loses (to phoenix especially..) he will definitely be pouting for a while and you will have to comfort him.

he is not so much concerned as he is insecure. he has a lot of scars and emotions etched into his skin. he is scared you would be frightened of him. the mask will be staying on for a while until he fully is able to feel comfortable revealing such a big insecurity to you.

yes. you are everything to him. if he lost you he would have nothing left for him. he would probaly leave the protocol if he were to lose you..

a/n: hi nobody requested this but i have been reading those alphabet fics and i was so sad to find out that there were none (sfw) for yoru!!!! i figured i would make my own (maybe cypher next-)

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

acts of service! he is not the best at words and worries he will say something wrong...so it is much easier for him to do tasks for you to show you that he cares.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

you would have a friendship similar to his with jett and phoenix! the only difference is the two of them notice you and yoru hanging out much more outside of their friend gatherings...

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

he really likes cuddles but only in certain settings...if you are in bed or if you are lounging on a couch or chair. he doesn't really enjoy standing up cuddles? he would mostly be big spoon (to keep his pride) but he really enjoys being small spoon. being held comforts him a lot. he loves to bury his head into the back of your shoulder or your chest.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

house husband bro...im telling you. this man will cook, clean, everything. he isn't the best at words, so doing things for his lover is a much better way for him to show his affection.

he would probably try to be gentle, but come off as harsh. he really isn't good with his words.

he probably never thought about it before, heck he probably didn't expect anyone to love him. if someone brought it up though he would probably SPIRAL. like shit do i marry them? what would life be like? do they want me..??. If you wanted to commit to each other, he would be thrilled. If not, thats alright too! As long as he has you by his side.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

despite being the "badboy" agent, you bring out the gentle side to him. he won't act like it around others or with anyone else though. but he is very gentle and caring in private towards you.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

he really doesn't like PDA but in private he is all for hugs! he loves sleepy cuddles and casually slinging an arm around your waist or shoulders when your sitting together. he is definitely touch starved...his hugs are suprisingly soft. physical touch makes him vulnerable and emotional. he probably would tense up at the beginning (not out of discomfort, out of suprise.) but slowly grow fond of it.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

he would accidentally say it. it would just slip out in the moment. he would have been trying to keep it in, scared of seeming too eager. but in one moment all he can think about is how much he loves you. after he knows it is reciprocated, he will be saying it a lot.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

oh this man in JEALOUS..he absolutely hates when chamber flirts with you, he cannot stand it. you probably have to hold him back from soing something he regrets...

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

he loves kissing wherever he can reach. if you're cuddling? he is planting soft kisses to the back of your shoulder and neck. anywhere else though he enjoys (giving and recieving!) a simple kiss on the lips, cheek, or forehead. he is very gentle with you, but if you are in public and chamber is around however? he won't hesitate to roughly kiss you to get him to back off.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

he is probably uncomfortable at first, but ince he adjusts he is a big softie. he usually scares the children away but if they are not scared it makes him feel really happy inside. he definitely loves to play with them and does magic tricks using his rifts.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

extremely soft, like tooth rottingly sweet. morning with him are the best, he is clingy in the morning and will be buried in your chest. expect lots of kisses, cuddles, and sweet whispers. but don't mention this to the other agents though, he does have a reputation to keep up after all.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

quiet but loving! similar to mornings but he is much less outwardly affectionate. he will try to sneakily attempt to get physical affection (he doesn't want to admit he wants it.). when you decide to wind down for the night, he will lay down next to you and hold you gently. (its just because its cold, trust...)

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

it would take him a while, he is a pretty guarded person after all. but once he knows he can trust you he will quickly open up to you one thing at a time.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

depends the situation...with you? rarely. he has never gotten genuinly mad at you. with chamber or some of the other agents? ehh....he isn't the most patient with them. he definitely won't hesitate to make snippy comments towards them if they really deserve it..

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

lets be honest, he probably will forget quite a bit. but if in passing he remembers a small thing you said he will be delighted to see your pleased reaction.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

your first mission together. he truly got to admire your skills and was wntranced by your abilities.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

he is protective as all hell. you are rarely put on a mission without him due to it. what if you were hurt and nobody was around?? if you were on a mission without him he would be anxiously pacing the whole time. he would lock himself in your room and worry that you were lying on the ground injured somewhere...due to this behaviour sage began insisting to brimstone that he is put on the same missions mostly, otherwise he would drive himself crazy.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

he would put a lot of effort in, but if you were to confront him about it he would deny everything. he doesn't want you to know how much he cares for you.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

his ego (obviously.). sometimes when he is feeding his ego, he may say something that brings you or other people down unknowingly. but if you tell him about it he will immediately feel bad and apologize. he has no intention to hurt you, he just sometimes doesn't watch what he says..

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

he cares a LOT. he is definitely the type to preen himself when he recieves a compliment. he has a big ego LOL. he absolutely adores getting compliments from you, it fuels his ego a little but he always feels a warm feeling when recieving a genuine compliment

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

he was always used to being alone before he met you, but ever since you came he has grown dependent on having someone close to him regularly. if he lost you...he wouldnt know if he could handle being alone once again..

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

he definitely had a small crush on phoenix at some point, he absolutely hates that he did. you definitely tease him about it LOL

VALORANT PROTOCOL WITH READER WHO'S A MIND MANIPULATOR AGENT ON THE TEAM

your powers were somewhat similar to fade's abilities.

when you were first recruited into the protocol, they honestly assumed you were just a normal radiant with some basic healing powers or something.

they were NOT expecting to see you standing over the trembling enemy viper. viper is a strong and terrifying woman, so naturally seeing her on the ground sobbing and begging was...just a bit odd.

when returned from the mission, everyone was instantely on your ass asking what the hell happened and how you did it.

after you explained your powers to them for the first time, they were shocked. some of them would be pretty wary for a while, after all, if THAT is what you could do....what else?

after revealing your abilities, you begin to grow closer to fade and reyna. fade sympathises with you because she understands the pain that comes with your abilities.

prowler will literally become your best friend. it loves when you walk it around the protocol or feed it little treats under the table. prowler is just a little doggy you cannot tell me otherwise :D

as for your friendship with reyna, it is a little different.

the two of you mostly sit in silence, besides her occasional "i want souls" comments.

after a while though she will kind of open up to you. she would take you training with her, lend you her ghost if you had a mission and yours was out of commision, and even silently wait outside your door to go and get breakfast with you.

it would take a while for some of the agents to warm up to you, with the incident with fade of course. but they would eventually.

you would definitely consider fade and reyna your closest friends though!

i feel like next to reyna or yoru, you are one of the stronger agents

he had to walk a few feet away to pick up wingman for five minutes, you would be fine right?

once he picked up wingman, he heard a loud bang behind him and a loud celebratory woop

"oh fuck."

he turned around and saw the familar wild colours from raze's showstopper.

"no no no! shit you good?" he called through the smoke

he hated the silence he recieved back. as the smoke cleared he saw your paint covered and burnt body.

"...cariño?...shit, wingman, go get the others. i got these guys."

he pulled out his customized spectre as he prepared to fight. he detained as many as he could before swiftly wiping them out one by one.

when the team arrived with wingman, sage quickly rushed to your side to aid you.

once he finished taking care of the enemies, he ran to your side

"i am so sorry...i thought i could go grab wingman but you got hurt...i am really sorry.."

Neon

a/n: this is small bc i wrote a whole ass essay for neon and it deleted....im so mad...im just trying to summarize it

"HOY! IM PISSED."

that was the last thing before you felt a sharp pain in your stomach as your vision went black.

you don't know what happened, but somehow yoru had gotten behind you. it was supposed to be a quick and simple mission. neon took A-site and you took B-site. unfortunately, right when neon approached B-site to check on you. she saw it.

red. the snow was covered in a beautiful shade of red. and it wasn't from your attacked. neon could feel electricity enter her fingertips as she lost control of her abilities.

you felt neon carrying you before falling uncomcious.

neon carried you to the jet and brought you to sage.

"im sorry...when i saw them like that i just...lost control of my abilities.."

"its ok, you did it to protect them. you saved them."

Phoenix

he was just returning from his "run it back" when he opened his eyes to see the enemy phoenix staring back at him, aiming his ghost at his own forehead.

he went to grab for his ghost but he found an empty holster.

"ah shit."

"you really thought i wouldn't just take your weapon? i'm not as foolish as you are."

phoenix braced for impact as he heard the gun fire, but the shot never came. he nervously opened his eyes to see you standing infront of him, a gunshot hole through your shoulder as you pushed the enemy phoenix away.

"dear?! what the-"

he watched as your limp body falls to the ground, feeling worry and rage overtake him.

"oh fam...your gonna regret that." he says to the opposite phoenix as the rest of his team approaches for backup.

when skye arrived at the site to treat you, she did not expect to see 5 charred bodies sprawled across the ground.

"mate...what happened?!"

"they ambushed us. (name) saved me cause i made a dumb mistake. go heal them, i am fine." he said with a dark tone to his voice

when skye healed you and you awoke, you were immediately greeted to the smell of burning. you turned your head towards phoenix as you saw him crouch beside you.

"thank god...why would you do that?! i'm sorry if i had checked my surroundings better you would have-" he rambles

you cut him off with a kiss as you feel his tired body begin to relax.

"no. i should have thought of a better plan. i am sorry i worried you."

for the next few days of your recovery, he will be by your side assisting you with anything you need. both of you content to try and ignore what happened that day.

Yoru

prior to meeting you, he was an extremely anger filled person. he still gets angry easy, but not as badly as before. you taught him how to control his emotions

but if he were to see you ganged up on in a mission, he would just lose control.

he was over at A-site at haven preparing to extract the radianite, before hearing your frantic voice shout through the comms for backup.

his heart dropped, he realized why his site was so empty along with the others. they had five-stacked onto one site. you had gone to C-site all alone. shit.

he immediately threw the spike towards Astra who had accompanied him to the A.

"stay here. i will go provide backup."

"alone? alright...stay safe."

he quickly teleported to your C-site to be met with a shocking sight. your battered and blood covered body lying down on the rough ground. burns and scratches littered your arms and legs. phoenix..

he looked up from your body to see the enemy phoenix, jett, chamber, astra, and skye staring at him with bloodthirsty gazes. they had teamed up on you because you were alone... how fucking sick could they be to attack a helpless sentienel.

he felt himself snap as he caught the enemy phoenix's cocky smirk. the cunt was proud of what he did.

when you regain conciousness, you are lying on the ground surrounded by the shredded corpses of the omega agents, a stained red yoru standing above them with his famous butterfly comb stained.

"...ryo?"

he turns around and immediately runs to your side.

"shit...thank god you are awake. don't move. help is coming ok?" he softly whispers while carressing your blood matted hair.

"are they...?"

"don't worry about them, you are safe now darling..."

when you make it back to base, you find out he took them all down on his own. when astra arrived at the site she had to practically tear yoru off of where he was mauling the corpses of the omega agents bodies.

he was ordered to talk to sage about his anger, but he never regretted what he did. he did it to save you and all that mattered was he had you back with him.

Cypher

he is used to killing to protect those he loves, this is nothing new to him.

he might be a cold killer, but you always knew he would never hurt you.

if someone was threatening you, he would keep them away using blackmail, but if it was more serious, he was prepared.

he sat waiting at the doors for the agents who had gone on your mission to come back. he was ready to greet you but he never thought he would have seen KA/YO holding you slung over his shoulder covered in blood.

he immediately freezes as he watches KA/YO rush to Sage's office. but he quickly recovers and follows quickly behind silently.

when sage caught sight of your body, she grimaced knowing it was bad. she ordered everyone out and allowed her space to work.

cypher was left with no answers as to what happened, as he sat anxiously outside Sage's office he hears KA/YO's robotic voice informing Viper of what happened.

"they went to go flank A alone, but their cypher must have seen her coming. when we arrived at A-site they were gone with the spike, they must have ambushed y/n and left her there for us to find...it was..bad. skye was able to help a little bit but...when we got there, they were missing their hand. im pretty sure they were awake when they did it."

"bastards..."

cypher could feel his blood BOILING. it was one thing to knock someone out, it was another to mutilate someone while they were awake. that wasn't fighting, that was mere torture.

he knew in this job people would get hurt. but he never thought they would ever go this far.

he was greatful you had lived, but he felt a burning feeling in his body.

as viper walked by, she stoped and turned to simply say.

"i know she was special to you Cypher, but don't do anything stupid. we don't need two people to revive."

he stood in place before walking to his room, he would make sure they couldn't hurt you. EVER again.

at the peak of night, he slipped out of his room and headed towards the armoury. he grabbed a ghost and a phantom before quietly walking towards the loading dock. he would make them regret ever hurting you.

in the morning, you were awoken to a tired looking sage.

"welcome back my child. you sure gave us a scare there. how do you feel?" she smiled wistfully

as she filled you in, you couldn't help but wonder where your partner was. typically he was by your bedside until you woke up.

"Ling...where is Cy?" you softly asked

she grinned at the nickname "don't worry, he is in brimstones office. your little boyfriend pulled a stunt to avenge you."

"oh god, is he ok? what did he do?" you sigh

"oh don't worry, he is fine! the agents who ambushed you on the other hand.."

you and sage converse for a while, before you see cypher nervously walk into the room

"my darling! how are you feeling? do you need anything?" he asks worriedly

"i feel good amir. don't worry. sage is taking good care of me!" you chuckle

he sighs in relief, he may have gotten a lecture (and maybe some cleaning duty...) but it was all worth it to see your face again.

after hearing the hushed whispers about you, you began feeling extremely insecure about your relationship. why was he with you? they were right. he could ask any girl out and they would swoon..

soon, you realized what you had to do. you truly didn't deserve him...he should be able to love someone else.

you spend the next few days avoiding him. hopefully this would make this easier for you and he would begin to grow sick of your relationship..unfortunately, he noticed your behaviour immediately. he kept trying to ask you about it but you would either tell him you had to go do something, or would be whisked away by someone else.

"my little dove, please tell me you know how much i love you. i am so sorry i didn't realize that what that идиот said about you made you feel as if this was the only option."

he felt you turn around to face him, the instant he saw your swollen red eyes he carefully captured your face in his hands?

"i promise you, you deserve everything. i have never felt happier with you, do you understand? if anything, you deserve so much more than I do.." he said while staring deeply into your eyes trying to get you to understand.

soon, you broke down in his arms as he engulfed you in a tender hug. as you cried into his neck muttering muffled apologies, he whispered sweet reassurances into your ear.

that agent wouldn't be bothering you anymore, he would make sure of it.

a/n : i just wanted to say this one really hit me personally. i left one of the greatest relationships i had ever had thinking it was best for the other people, but it was the most selfish thing i had ever done. if you feel like this as well. trust me, do not do it. every day i miss what i could have had if only i had chose to tell them my worries. so please talk to them, they will understand. don't make the mistake i did.

it started as offhand comments that the new agents would throw out.

cypher was incredibly confused when you suddenly started dressing different. you were much more hidden lately...you were covering your body as if you wanted nobody to look. even i private you refused to show him the old side of you. one day, when you were together in his room he decided to confront you.

when he dropped his mask, you raised yours.

"hey sweetheart...i'm sorry if this is out of line but is everything ok? are you trying to match outfits with me now?"

he softly chuckled trying to lighten the mood, but upon seeing your zoned out reaction he stopped, a concerned gaze filling his features. when you came back to reality, you caught his gaze.

"oh, yes im sorry...i just have a question. do you...like how i look?"

to say he was shocked was an understatement. where was this suddenly coming from?

"what? habibi of course i do. why do you ask?"

"it's not a big deal...just someone has kind of gotten me to really think about myself and how i look." you say as if it were nothing

"what? that is incredibly unprofessional?! you should report them to Brimstone. people cannot be saying things like that." he fumed, how could anybody say that to another person?

"no! no please, it's fine. they are not wrong about me."

now THAT had him shocked. they were not right about you one bit? he put down the object he had been working on before turning around and sitting next to you on his bed. you look at him confused as he gave you a soft but stern look.

"listen to me darling. i don't know what the hell they said about you but i can garentee they are wrong. they are simply jealous. please never let yourself feel upset with how you look. you are perfect in my eyes and that is what matters, is it not?" he says in the most sincere voice you have heard.

you can feel tears forming as you nod and look at the ground trying to avoid his gaze, but soon you feel a gloved hand pulling your face back to look at him.

"there is no need to hide from me my love...i want to see your beautiful face...i am here for you, yeah?"

you feel tears streaming down your face...soon you feel soft yet chapped lips gently kiss away your tears. you wouldn't trade this for the world.

he spent the rest of the night planting soft kisses all over your body (/nsx).

the next day, the rude agent was awfully quiet. you can only imagine what cypher had dug up about them.

you may not feel completely comfortable in your own skin, but cypher will be with you to help you feel a little bit more.

after brimstone lifted the "no-fraternization" rule, you were free to be loving with your shy girlfriend in public.

most people found your extrovertedness and her introvertedness absolutely adorable. but you always feared that sometimes you were a little annoying.

one day, killjoy had been working on a turret upgrade while you were rambling about some show you heard jett talk about. but after a while you realized her only response was a soft hum every once in a while. you immediately backpedaled, were you being too loud? was she annoyed at you?"

you immediately trail off and stop talking, she seemed to not even notice your silence as harsh clanking filled the room. you frowned and checked your phone, scrolling back and forth on your home screen lost in thought.

once she had finished, you heard a quiet "yes!". you smiled as she turned around to ask your thoughts on it before seeing your face.

to anybody else, you would seem fine. just distracted. but klara knows you. to her, your eyes are more faded than normal as if you were bored...had she missed something important? she was mostly focusing on her work and assumed you had stopped talking to give her some space.

"Leibchen? Is everything alright?" she asked cautiously.

"hm? oh yes, sorry klara...i was just worried i was bothering you."

her eyes widened as you said this

"why would you be bothering me little maus? i love to listen to you!"

"i don't know, i guess i have just felt a bit worried that i have been annoying you..am i not too loud?"

"oh no! not at all! trust me, i love to hear you talk :)"

she stood up and pulled you into a shy side hug

she asked with genuine curiousity, watching as your face brightened with joy at her eagerness to listen.

◜Cypher◞

cypher truly loves you, but he is still recovering from losing nora.

be patient with him, he still has a lot of trauma and stress in his life that he is dealing with.

he often needs reminders to take care of himself. he usually gets lost in his work

if he is having a bad day, he locks his door and buries himself in his work.

if he let you inside on a bad day, he would be a bit grouchy. he is used to keeping his walls up. but after a few reassurances, loving touches, and kind whispers. he would crack.

he feels weak when he cries, he tries his best not to but he cannot keep it in sometimes

when he cries, he is soothed by the feeling of your hands on his masked face and your loving whispers in his ear. the mask often feels suffocating, but he just cannot bring himself to take it off.

he is extremely insecure...after years of battles (both with himself, and Kingdom) he has quite a few scars littering his body. he mostly covers up fully with his mask and long sleeves. he wouldn't show you himself until he really was ready to, so don't push him! he will when he is ready.

when he does show you though, you know he really trusts you.

he melts everytime you kiss one of his scars gently, it made him love that part of him self a little more.

if you have had a bad day, he will drop everything to help. if someone made you upset? oh boy...are they in for it.

he has a lot of bad days so this is nothing new to him, he knows how you feel and knows exactly how to cheer you up.

you are definitely his rock, your presence grounds him.

he is extremely sentimental. he would definetely gift you a photo album of all the key points and locations in your relationship.

he is a worrywart, if your on a risky mission he is keeping tabs on you at all time..

he often has nightmares about losing you or losing his home. once you found out, you got him to sleep in your bed. his nightmares happen significantely less since then..

he has experience in relationships..he was married after all.

his love language is words of affirmation!!!

be careful with this man's heart, it is already extremely fragile..

his love language is definitely quality time!!!

he loves to spend time with his lover, he definitely plans tons of sentimental dates!

sentiment over price kinda guy. you could give him a dead flower from the area you met and he would be touched deeply.

he is not afraid to cry! he encourages you to express your emotions rather than bottling it up.

after a particulararely long mission, he would arrive at your room and the second you open the door he would bearhug you.

when you are upset, if you like physical affection he will carry you to the bed and cuddle with you.

if you are not up to doing basic things such as eating or bathing, he will pamper you :)

for example...he will still flirt with other women. its kinda just how he is

he has a big fuckin ego....

if you were to forgive him, he would be treading carefully. trying his best not to accidentally say something else upsetting to you.

if you had a nightmare, his heart would break at the sight of your crying face. "doll..can you tell me what you need right now so i can help you?"

he would wrap you in a hug, pushing your face against his chest. he would be whispering sweet reassurances into your ear as you began to drift back to sleep.

oh if you tease him in the morning about it though he will absolutely deny everything.

if you got sick, he would be at your bedside with warm food (that he definitely did not make himself. it's not like he cares..), medicine, and your favourite movies.

he is extremely domestic, but he would never admit it

expect to spend the next few days curled up to his chest as he lovingly stroked your hair, tucking peices behind your ears.

he is not much of a gift giver or a words of affirmation kind of guy. he struggles with his words. he is definetely a acts of service and quality time kind of guy!

he would rather have you in his arms then a stupidly expensive gift in his hands.

having these two as your girlfriends would be amazing.

they are so different yet so similar!!

raze is the loud extrovert, killjoy is the omnivert!

raze would definitely be the more physically affectionate of the two! killjoy would be much more emotionally affectionate.

raze would greet you with a chaste kiss on the cheek, a bearhug, or (if she feels bold) a kiss on the lips! she would not be scared to do it in public either. she gives off "THATS RIGHT!!!! THIS IS MY PARTNER AND I LOVE THEM!!!!" vibes.

killjoy is the total opposite, she is not a big fan of pda. in public she would greet you with a light hug or a highfive. but in private? she would be all over you. she would pepper your face in sweet kisses and eskimo kisses! she also loves to hug you from behind. she is much much more shy about being public than raze is though!

when they are together you are often sandwiched inbetween them. raze offering physical love while killjoy is more emotional.

if you were upset, raze would freeze up. she isn't very good with emotions...if she were upset she would just go blow some stuff up and problem solved! but that doesn't always work for others.. she would still offer you a gentle hug and would trace shapes on your back similar to what her mother did for her as a kid.

if you were upset around killjoy, she would rush to comfort you. "please leibling...talk to me. i am here...i hate seeing you like this..".

Killjoy is a very good listener. She would patiently listen to your troubles as she rubbed your back sympathetically. She has had her fair share of anxiety so she understands what you are going through.

overall, they equal eachother out.

you are grateful to have your girlfriends, you recieve and give equal love to them and nobody feels left out.

raze is more a gift giver while KJ is totally a acts of service person!

if you were trying to tell him something serious or just generally looked distraught, his playful and carefree demeanor would instantly vanish and turn into a caring and concerned gaze.

VALORANT AGENTS REACTING TO THEIR S/O GETTING INJURED ON A MISSION

literally the sweetest ever, but this doesn't need to be said

if its a minor injury, she will definitely be giving you a talk about being safer and how to prevent that from happening

"but what if it was something more serious? something even I couldn't heal? you must be more careful angel."

if her s/o was harmed badly, she would do two things.

one, she would immedietely drop everything and rush towards healing you, this woman will stay up all night trying to heal you and make sure that there is not so much as a scratch left on your body. she would definitely overwork herself but making sure you are alright is all that matters.

two, the second you are stable and resting, she is going to find out whichever enemy agent hurt you and fuck. them. up.

im talking full battle sage, she will have no mercy if the injury they caused was threatening enough.

she may excude sweet and kind energy but she is one scary lady when the people she loves are harmed

she knows exactly how damaged a body must be for it to be unfixable.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't be there my dear, but they won't be hurting you again."

she will be watching you carefully, even asking brimstone to take you off of missions for a short time or asking him to keep an eye on you.

she doesn't know what she would do if she lost you..

she blames herself, how could she not? she designed most of the stuff...it must be a error in her inventions.

she will work night and day trying to figure out what happened. was it a weapon error? did the gun she designed for you malfunction? oh no was she to blame for anyone elses injuries?!

it would take a lot of reassurance for her to calm down. after all, this wouldn't have happened if she had been more careful...right?

"Mein gott...you scared me. I thought I lost you schatzi..."

she is going to be by your side after sage discharges you from her infirmary. expect lots of physical affection (if your comfortable with it.) and care.

she will treat you as if you were glass about to break. you will not be doing any chores while you recover.

oh you need to work on a mission report? its already finished and submitted. you are hungry? she would cook a lovely meal her parents would make her when she was sick. (with the help of some other agents...shes probaly not a great cook lets be honest..)

"KJ...Sage gave me the all clear! I can do it!"

" Nein nein! You are going to rest mein Häschen! I don't want you straining yourself!"

if you get injured, be it minor or major. this man will WORRY.

he already lost everything, he cannot lose you either. if he did...he would have nothing.

when sage showed up at his door covered in blood and bruises. he knew something went wrong.

you told him you were going on a small mission. just an in and out radianite extraction at an abandoned lab. he had no reason to worry...right?

when he heard what had happened, he was devastated. what was supposed to be a quick mission turned out to be a setup. what makes it worse? you were alone at your site.

he will be thinking the worst. what if you...? if he had only done a more detailed check on the lab...maybe he could have protected you. but he didn't. he feels like he failed.

you spend weeks in the recovery bay, lying unconcious.

he spends those weeks without you in his lab drinking the memories away and trying to figure out what happened.

he just cannot function with the thought of losing you at the back of his mind at all times.

he knows he was caught when viper appears at his doorway with a concerned glare and a solemn looking sage in tow. he can't remember most of it, but viper was worried? about him?

soon he was also transported to sages infirmary. getting put on nutrients and oxygen. it was obvious he was not taking care of himself without your presence

when you wake up, he would be right there cradling your cheek with his hand. his mask nowhere in sight. all that matters was that you were safe now

"يا حياتي..i was so scared i lost you"

he will never forget his past, but he looks forward to his future with you.

he would be extremely angry.

upon hearing the news, he would immediately check on you. seeing your unconcious body just makes something in him snap. the thought that someone had done this to you...he plants a soft kiss to your temple, before storming out of the infirmary.

for the next few days, he would lash out at everyone around him. sage came around to bring him some food as he had not left his room and he just...lost it.

he wasn't even sure who he was yelling at, who he was blaming for what happened. poor sage looked petrified and the others seemed to gather the idea yoru didn't want to be talked too right now.

with no word from anybody about your condition, he lay down on his bed and cried numbly. every night he would teleport into where sage had kept you to heal. he would sit in silence staring at your asleep face before always kissing your forehead goodbye. in hopes that somehow, you would wake up.

he went to your room and grabbed some sweaters of yours, every night he slept with them for comfort, clinging onto them as if they were going to leave him too.

when you wake up, he won't care about keeping his mysterious "badass" persona up. he will be at your side holding your hand and crying.

"please be more careful 私の日光...i don't know what i would do if i lost you."

when sage discharges you, he will be glued to you. he will simple little things for you (such as opening doors for you.)

his love language is definitely acts of service

if you teased him about this though, he will never admit to it.

he will be doing simple things such as cooking meals, cleaning up, and helping you finish any work you have

he is so domestic

he may not be super outwardly affectionate, but with each small favour he does for you he is putting all of his love into it.

sova is literally the most caring boyfriend...like ever..

if its a minor injury, he will treat it (if sage and skye are off on a mission).

he will definitely lightly scold you, not to be mean! just because he hates seeing you hurt and in pain.

"ангел. please be more careful next time..you know i hate seeing you upset."

if it was a major injury though, he is relatively the same.

he isn't scared to cry infront of the others, when he gets the news that your mission went south he was crying into sages shoulder.

he would stay with you the entire recovery. sage had to keep kicking him out at nighttime but eventually she realized she couldn't stop him. she simply would bring meals for him whenever he would forget to eat.

he would sit and tell you about his day, how the missions were going, even the silly schenanigans that the younger agents were pulling

"yoru tried to get revenge on phoenix for his prank but it went so bad ангел. he entered his rift and jumped out to scare him, but reyna happened to have just been passing by! she was absolutely livid родная. i have never seen our dear riftwalker so terrified!" he chuckled

when you woke up, he was still there lightly snoring against the chair sage had brought him.

when he woke up, he was thrilled, his eyes immediately lighting up like a childs

"have you been sitting here the whole time?"

"of course my dear. as if i would leave you."

߷~ Gekko ~߷

as the newest agent, he hasn't known you for very long. your relationship was coming up to a few months old but he hadn't told you how much he loved you yet.

so naturally, when he heard you were injured he was terrified

he knew this job was dangerous! he just never thought it would be you getting injured...he also never really thought of anyone getting badly injured

he was training with harbour when he overheard a mission going wrong...a mission you were on.

he would rush to the infirmary overloading sage with questions about you

"Sage!! Finally...que pasó?? Neon told me something happened on the mission?!"

Appariently, you had gotten caught in a fight with the enemy Breach and he hit you with his aftershock.

He didn't know much about Breach, but he knew that man had quite a bit of strength in his abilities (being like...bionic you know?"

After some skillful and strategic convincing (pathetic and annoying begging) Sage agreed to take him to see you.

When he caught sight of you lying in the bed staring up at the ceiling, he let out a big sigh he didn't even know he was holding.

"Mi sol! Oh mierda I was so worried! What happened?"

He would be sitting patiently listening to you explain what happened. All while staring at you softly.

"Shooottt...sounds like you had a busy mission! I am just happy you made it back cariño."

if you were minorly injured, it was probably from tinkering with her poison vials and one leaked onto your fingers

after hearing your grunt in pain, she turns around and her eyes widen, rushing towards you.

"Idiot, I said not to touch anything!"

she swears under her breath before wiping it away and rubbing some sort of cream onto your hand

"Honestly..who would touch something containing poison WITHOUT protection?"

her biggest fear? her poison causing you harm.

so what if a mission were to go wrong and you happened to step into a bubble of her poison?

it was a genuine wrong place wrong time situation. she had a poison bubble deployed and sitting on the ground, as she activated it she looked up to see your frame walking overtop of it.

she shouts to get you to move, but you don't hear her in time. next thing she knows, you are on the ground out cold with green and purple lines all over your face.

she quickly would call for backup, holding you tight but trying to avoid the chemical burns.

when she is back to safety, she rushes to sage's infirmary with your barely warm body in her arms

unfortunately, the poison had seeped into some open wounds you had. causing it to spread throught your body. viper leaves sage alone to do her job, pacing back and forth outside.

she knew how strong her poison could be, but she also knew how strong your body was. you would survive. you had too.

after a few hours, a tired sage walks out and nods, signaling it went well.

viper rushed into the room and immediately looked at your sleeping face, wincing at the fading bloodshot lines on your face.

"i'm so sorry love..please wake up soon"

she would wait by your side holding your hand and occasionally planting soft kisses to the back of your hand.

she knew you would be ok, but she couldn't help but feel bad that her miscommunication and carelessness caused this to happen to you.

when you wake up, she would be whispering soft apologies into your ear

"i promise...you will never feel this pain again my dear."
