Cheap clean eating I don't know about you, but for me stuff like sweets, chocolate, cakes, etc. is a very important part of my life. I crave this stuff even when I am 120% full. But even a small piece of cake contains so much more calories than regular food that we have to eat to provide our body necessary nutrition does. And if we eat both regular food and sweets, likes chocolate, cake or anything of the kind, we will end up being a big fat 🐷. For me not being able to eat what you want is just as unhealthy as eating whatever junk food you want. But is there a perfect balance 🤷 ♀️? Yes, there is! There are tons of healthy recipes for clean tasty food, like cookies 🍪. I found one of them and it is really cool! All you need is banana (the browner, the better) + oats, that’s it! It takes just 10 mins to prepare and mix them and put in the oven! #glutes 🍑 Consistency and balance are the key factors of my fitness program. I never target only one group of muscles when working out, because doing so may lead to some of my body parts getting overworked which by my body is interpreted as an overall body tiredness. Instead, every day I do a full body workout and simply put slight emphasis on one body part so that the loss of energy and tiredness are more evenly distributed among all muscle groups and I can resume working out on the same tempo on the next day, while, again, giving a bit of preference to another group of muscles. . . . Those who want to have strong legs definitely should make a good use of the leg press machine! Personally, I love this machine and use it whenever it is "legs day", because it works all your leg muscles: glutes, hamstrings, quads, inner thighs and hips! All you need to do is put your feet in the necessary position, depending on which muscles you want to work. You can refer to the pics ☝️ Whether you use the standard horizontal leg press machine or the 45 degree one, never forget the basic rules: 1. Your spine and head should be in a flat position against the seat pad; 2. Your feet (heels) should be placed flat; 3. Your knees should never be locked out and never inwarded or outwarded; 4. Your forefoot or toes should almost never be used; 5. Your feet should never be placed at the lower part of the plate - it gives the knees unnecessary pressure; 6. Don't overload the plate; 7. If you want to lose fat - eat it! No kidding! Most of us believe the huge lie that eating less fat or opting for low-fat foods will help us avoid gaining weight. We think that eating fat-rich food leads to having a belly fat 🤔. As if it went right through your stomach and got stuck to your belly 😂. Doesn’t it make sense, though? No, it does not. I want to tell you something today… to lose weight you have to eat fat! Ever since humankind started thinking that fat is what makes them fat (the logic is flawless, I agree), people started getting fatter. The reason behind this shift is simple: in their attempts to escape the ‘bad fat’, people inevitably ended up eating more of what is actually the greatest enemy of your dream to become fit: carbs, sugar and big amounts of protein! However, in order to get enough vitamins, your body needs carbs and protein containing products. To lose weight and be in good shape, you should pick out only the healthy types of carbs and protein. The reason why it is difficult for most people to lose weight is that they, often unknowingly, consume a looot of carbs which later on your body turns into sugar and, eventually, fat. In addition to that, many people, especially those who try to lead a healthy lifestyle, eat too much protein, not realizing that both carb/sugar and protein cause major spikes in blood sugar level, which leads to a subsequent hunger and makes them crave more unhealthy food. But fat, on the other hand: 🌱 accelerates your metabolism! 🌱 keeps you full for a longer period of time and it doesn’t cause cravings! 🌱 doesn’t increase your insulin level when body starts to switch to the fat-storing mode! Rule No. 1. Workout: NEVER SKIP MONDAY! Why? 👇👇👇👇 1. If you don’t skip Monday training, you are more likely to keep working out the rest of the week. It is a kind of “don’t break the chain or schedule” rule; 2. If you workout on Monday (from my experience, especially in the morning or during the lunchtime) you will smile more and have a better mood. Studies have shown that most workers do not smile before 11:00 on Monday. (being an employee myself, I don’t particularly like to look at anyone at work before lunchtime (that is when I go to the gym), and I kind of lose this awkwardness after my workouts). This is because exercises help your body release stress and lose awkwardness of movement, whatever might have caused it. 3. If you workout on MONDAY(especially if you do a HIIT or/and strength training), it will balance out your weekend cheat day, because on weekends we usually do not or cannot keep our determination to eat clean. Meeting with friends and family, enjoying grandma's cookies or just wanting to watch a tv drama/movie with that delicious pizza/chicken/ice cream/chocolate/chips results in you being way out of your micros...🐥🙊🐣. And here comes Monday, ideally suited for burning and balancing out your calories count. This is why it is very important. 4. If you workout on Monday, it will relieve your burden of guilt after such a "productive" weekend, which may not seem like a lot, but trust me - you will feel like a different person 😎.
