Summary: You watch Luke share those same traditions he once shared with you; with somebody else.
Imagine standing in the midst of a roaring crowd, the electric energy of the hockey arena coursing through your veins. You had traveled far to witness the New Jersey Devils play, but little did you know that fate had prepared a bittersweet surprise for you on this unforgettable night.
Years ago, you and Luke Hughes had been deeply in love, united by a shared passion for hockey and an unbreakable bond. As Luke played for UMICH, your heart swelled with pride each time you watched him on the ice. The end of every game marked a cherished tradition between the two of you—a moment when you would venture down to the ice, and he would skate over, his eyes shining with victory, to share a tender embrace.
But life has a way of throwing unexpected curveballs. Luke's exceptional skills and dedication led him to be drafted into the NHL, with an opportunity to play for the New Jersey Devils. Faced with the immense demands of his budding professional career, he made the agonizing decision to break up with you, believing he couldn't balance his hockey dreams and a relationship.
Fast forward to the present, and here you were, attending a Devils game, hoping to recapture the magic of those cherished memories. The arena throbbed with anticipation, and as the final buzzer sounded, the Devils emerged triumphant. The jumbotron illuminated the arena, and your heart skipped a beat as Luke appeared on the screen, engaged in the very same end-of-game tradition that had once been yours.
Only this time, a pang of heartache shot through you as you noticed another girl by his side. The jumbotron captured your heartbroken expression, freezing it in time for all to see. Overwhelmed by a mix of emotions, you made a swift decision to retreat from the arena, feeling as if the foundation of your world had crumbled.
Yet, as you turned to leave, the sound of hurried footsteps and a familiar voice calling your name caught your attention. You glanced back, your eyes meeting Luke's desperate gaze. He had seen your devastated face on the jumbotron, and in that instant, his heart shattered into a thousand pieces.
Racing towards you, Luke's voice trembled as he spilled his feelings, his words flowing with raw emotion. He confessed the overwhelming emptiness he had felt since the day he let you go, acknowledging that no success or new partner could ever replace the love he had lost. It was a heartfelt admission of his mistake and a plea for forgiveness.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you listened, torn between the pain of the past and the flicker of hope rekindled within you. The love you had shared with Luke was powerful, resilient, and etched into the very fabric of your being. With each word he spoke, the walls guarding your heart began to crumble.
In that decisive moment, you let go of the pain and chose to embrace the possibility of a future together. The hurt transformed into a fierce determination to rebuild what had been lost, stronger and more resilient than ever before.
With trembling hands and a voice filled with vulnerability, you shared your own truth, confessing that despite the heartbreak, your love for Luke had never wavered. It was a testament to the depth of your connection and the strength of your bond.
In the midst of the arena's chaos, your eyes locked, and you saw in his gaze the same love that had once consumed both of your hearts. Everything fell into place as Luke closed the distance between you, his touch conveying both longing and regret. The world around you melted away as you melted into each other's arms, rediscovering the warmth and solace that only true

Hi besties! Sorry it took so long to put another fic out:( I'm not super happy with this one but hey what can I do about it? Anyways! I hope you like it more than I do lol!
In this AU, Rafe Cameron is a famous Hollywood actor who comes back to his hometown for a break. You are a local girl who has known Rafe since childhood, but you haven't seen him in years.
It was a hot summer day in the small coastal town of Kildare. You were walking down Main Street, lost in thought, when you heard someone call your name. You turned around and saw Rafe Cameron, your childhood friend, leaning against his fancy rental car.
"Y/N! Is that you?" Rafe exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.
You stared at him for a moment, taking in his chiseled jawline, his perfectly styled hair, and his designer sunglasses. Rafe had always been good-looking, but now he looked like a movie star.
"Rafe! Oh my god, how are you?" you said, rushing over to give him a hug.
"I'm good, I'm good," Rafe said, wrapping his arms around you. "I'm just back in town for a little while. Figured I'd come say hi to some old friends."
"Wow, I can't believe it's been so long," you said, pulling away from him. "What are you doing here, anyway?"
"I'm taking a break from filming," Rafe said. "I needed to get away from L.A. for a bit."
"Filming?" you repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, you know, movies and stuff," Rafe said, shrugging. "I'm an actor now, Y/N."
You laughed. "Of course you are. You always did love the spotlight."
Rafe grinned at you. "You know me too well, Y/N."
As you caught up with Rafe, walking down Main Street, you couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. You and Rafe had grown up together in Kildare, and you had been best friends for as long as you could remember. You used to do everything together - riding bikes, playing hide and seek, exploring the woods.
But then Rafe's family had moved away, and you had lost touch. You had heard rumors that Rafe had gone to Hollywood to pursue an acting career, but you had never paid much attention. You had your own life in Kildare - a job at the local diner, a few close friends, and a small apartment.
"So, what about you, Y/N?" Rafe asked, breaking you out of your thoughts. "What have you been up to?"
"Oh, nothing too exciting," you said, shrugging. "Just working at the diner, hanging out with friends. Same old, same old."
Rafe looked at you with a curious expression. "You seem...different, somehow."
"Different how?" you asked, suddenly self-conscious.
"I don't know, just...older, I guess," Rafe said. "More mature. More...beautiful."
You felt your cheeks turn red. "Stop it, Rafe, you're embarrassing me."
Rafe laughed. "I'm serious, Y/N. You look amazing."
You felt a flutter in your stomach. You had always had a crush on Rafe, ever since you were kids. But you had never told him - it had always felt too risky, too vulnerable. And now, seeing him again after all these years, those feelings were flooding back.
As you and Rafe continued down Main Street, you couldn't help but notice the way
he still had that same charming smile and infectious laugh that drew you to him in the first place. But as much as you wanted to confess your feelings, you couldn't shake the fear that it might ruin the friendship you've built over the years.
The rest of the day passed quickly, with Rafe showing you around town and catching up on old times. As the sun began to set, Rafe suggested grabbing dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant.
"Sounds great," you said, trying to hide your excitement.
As you sat across from Rafe at the restaurant, you couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. You had never gone out to dinner with Rafe before - this was new territory for you.
"So, tell me more about this acting gig," you said, trying to break the tension.
Rafe grinned. "It's been amazing, Y/N. I never thought I'd be able to make a living doing something I love so much."
"That's incredible," you said, genuinely happy for him.
"But it's not all sunshine and rainbows," Rafe said, his expression turning serious. "It's a tough business, you know. A lot of rejection. A lot of people telling you you're not good enough."
You reached across the table and took Rafe's hand. "I'm sure you're amazing, Rafe. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."
Rafe smiled at you gratefully. "Thanks, Y/N. That means a lot."
As the night wore on, you found yourself feeling more and more comfortable around Rafe. You talked about everything from your favorite movies to your childhood memories, laughing and joking as if no time had passed at all.
But as the night drew to a close, you couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness. You didn't want the night to end, but you knew it had to.
"Thanks for a great night, Rafe," you said, standing up from the table.
"Anytime, Y/N," Rafe said, standing up as well. "I had a blast."
As you walked outside the restaurant, Rafe stopped you with a hand on your arm.
"Y/N, wait," he said, his eyes searching yours. "I know we haven't seen each other in a while, but...I feel like there's something here. Something between us."
You felt your heart leap into your throat. Could it be possible that Rafe felt the same way you did?
"I know this might sound crazy, but...would you like to go out with me again?" Rafe asked, his expression hopeful.
You felt tears prick at the corners of your eyes. This was everything you had ever wanted.
"Yes, Rafe," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "I would love to."
Rafe's face broke into a smile. "Really? You mean it?"
"Yes, I mean it," you said, grinning from ear to ear.
As Rafe walked you back to your apartment, the two of you held hands and talked about all the things you wanted to do together. It felt like a dream come true.
But as much as you wanted to believe that this was real, a part of you still couldn't shake the fear that it was too good to be true. You had been hurt before, and you didn't want to get hurt again.
Over the next few weeks, you and Rafe went out on a few more dates, exploring the town and trying new things. You found yourself falling deeper and deeper in love with him, unable to imagine your life without him.
But there was always that nagging feeling in the back of your mind. What if it didn't work out? What if he found someone else? What if you weren't good enough for him?
One day, as you and Rafe were walking along the beach, you decided to confront him about your fears.
"Rafe, can I ask you something?" you said, your voice shaking.
"Of course he replied with a reassuring smile. "What if I'm not good enough for you?" you asked, looking down at your feet. Rafe took your hand and looked into your eyes. "You are more than enough for me, and I love you for who you are," he said, giving you a gentle kiss on the forehead.

24/7 - Tom Holland Imagine
Hello Besties! This is my first ever piece of writing and imagine! Im so excited to be doing what I love on here! If you do read this please tell me what you think and if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know!
Description: You and Tom have been dating for two years now and could not be more in love. But that all changes when he ends up catching feelings for his Spiderman co-star. When you both are invited to the grammys you decide to sing how you really feel.
"Good morning, darling". i whisper in Toms ear hoping that the sound of my voice would pull him out of his sleep.
"Good morning, my love". He replies back in the accent that I've grown so fond of. Tom turns to face me, with a sleepy smile growing on his face. He presses a quick but gentle kiss to my lips.
"How did you sleep? Tell me everything that happened in your dreams last night". I say into the kiss.
Tom laughs but proceeds with his answer anyways. "I dream of the same thing every night Y/N. That I get to wake up with you next to me".
I can't help but blush. We stay in bed just a little while longer until Tom has to go to set. He's been filming the newest Spiderman movie (No Way Home), and I could not be more prouder about how far he's come with his career.
While he's away on set, I stay home to finish this song I've been working on. I've never persued a career in music, but singing and writing have always been a passion of mine. Since it only took me an hour to finish up the last pieces of the song I decide to clean the house up and make a good dinner for Tom to show him just how proud of him I am.
In the middle of making his favorite meal I can't stop thinking about how good life has been to us lately. Everything was going so well.
Or so I thought.
Just as I finish garnishing the plates I receive a text from Tom.
"Hello, my love. The directors want Zendaya and I to stay on set just a little while longer to work on our chemistry. I'll be home as fast as I can<3".
"That's alright; I can't wait to see the completed project. "When you get home, dinner will be ready:)".
Because I still have quite some time until Tom returns, I eat my portion of dinner in silence and clean up the kitchen mess. With my work and song project done, I feel a sense of accomplishment, and my enthusiasm to show off the project to Tom makes the long wait more bearable.
Hours pass by as I wearily wait for Tom to come home. To put my mind at ease, I decide to scroll through social media before I go to sleep. Suddenly, the notifications on my phone lit up, and I was immediately filled with a sense of anticipation. When I click on all the notifications I have been tagged in, my heart drops. It is a photo of Tom and another woman kissing as they leave some bar downtown, seemingly oblivious to the fact that I'm at home waiting for him.
I zoom in on the picture to see who this mystery woman could possibly be. It's Zendaya . The sense of betrayal overwhelms me, and I can't help but feel a chill run down my spine as I realize the depth of Tom's deception. He has never done anything to cause me not to trust him, but then again, there is always a first for everything. I begin to feel my heart beating faster and my breath becoming shallower as I sit there in a state of shock.
Just at that moment, I hear Tom walk into the house. He walks into our shared bedroom with a grin on his face.
"Hello, my love."
I can't find the words to reply; instead, I stare back at him with a frozen expression on my face. He notices this, and his smile fades. He walks closer, his expression growing more concerned as he notices my stillness.
"Whats this"? I ask. My voice was shaking.
He chuckles. "What are you talking about, my love?" "Do you really love me?" I whispered, suddenly aware of the tremble in my voice.
"Of course I do. "What could ever make you ask a question like that?"
I show him the picture that has been taking up every bit of space in my mind. His face freezes, and he loses the color from his plump, red cheeks. He was speechless, his reaction giving away the truth of what I already suspected.
He averts his gaze and shifts uncomfortably in his seat, finally mustering up the courage to answer. "That's not what that looks like, Y/N."
His eyes are downcast, and he refuses to meet my gaze, but I can see the guilt written in his features. Without even saying anything, I pack my stuff and leave. I knew his answer was going to be a lie even before I asked him the question. I just can't believe we went from a happy, healthy, and loving couple at the beginning of the day to a couple that is no more at the end of the day.
As time passes, my heartbreak grows more profound. Social media does nothing to help, because Tom and Zendaya made their relationship official not long after our split. I started posting covers of me singing on Instagram to take my mind off of things, and it worked.
Music was my escape, and for a short while, I was able to forget the pain of losing Tom. Not too long after I started posting more often, I got an invitation to attend the Grammys (the perks of being romantically involved with Tom Holland). It was a last-minute invitation, but it was still an invitation.
I was ecstatic and decided to accept the invitation, but I had no idea what was about to happen. As I was getting my makeup and hair done, one of the producers rushed into the dressing room.
"Y/N! ""An artist wasn't able to make it tonight, and we really need you as a sub."
He gave me no time to respond, just a microphone and 10 minutes to prepare. Five minutes before the performance, I decide on the song I would be singing and quickly get the music to the producer. just in time to hear my name called to the stage.
I'm practically thrown on stage, and the first person I see sitting in the crowd is Tom. We lock eyes just as the music begins to play.
I wait for the 20 second instrumental to finish out. and then begin singing.
"Good morning, darling, How did you sleep? Are you doing well? What’s happening in your dreams? "Are you counting the stars like we used to do?" ""Cause I’m up on stage, but I’m still looking for you."
"So come back to me, wherever you are, because I miss you so much, and I hope you haven’t gone too far." "I don’t want to walk away because I really care, and I wish you were still here."
"I can’t even listen to that song anymore. Yeah, how could I do that when you walked right out the door? red roses and sunsets, with bright afternoons "Oh, spinning my head while I’m crying in my room."
"Oh, come back to me, wherever you are, because I miss you so much, and I hope you haven’t gone too far." "I don’t want to walk away because I really care, and I wish you were still here."
"Please come back to me if you haven’t gone far." I’ll be outside playing your favorite song on my guitar. Oh, I’ll just walk away and pretend I don’t care, but 24/7, I wish you were still here. Yeah, 24/7, I wish you were still here"
As the song closes out, I lock eyes once more with Tom. He looks down, his eyes watering. But just as he's about to look up the lights dim and the curtain closes.
