Very often in the process of creation, the idea changes, the sculpture becomes an active participant in the process and the original idea is transformed by the joint efforts of the author and the work and takes on a slightly different look. Человек буквально пытается выбраться из мозга. Он стремится освободиться от контроля мозга. Ангел старается ему помочь. Тем временем, его собственная рука держит его в заложниках мозга. Похоже, что у нас действительно непростые отношения с нашим мозгом. Ученые утверждают, что наш мозг принимает решение за несколько секунд до того, как мы осознаем это сами, а затем убеждает нас, что мы приняли это решение самостоятельно. Today i have noticed a little unicorn under my sculpture post on etsy gallery. I was glad to learn that etsy has labeled my sculpture as rare find. Probably it is almost the same difficult to find it as the unicorn. This sculpture is an allegorical representation of the relationship between human and mind. Human is literally trying to get out of the brain. He is eager to liberate himself from the brain control. The angelic creature is trying to help set him free. While his own hand is keeping him a hostage of his mind. At the end it looks like we do have rather tricky relationship with the mind. The scientists confirm that our brain take a decision just few second before we realise it ourselves and afterwards convince us we took the decision. When we try to be ourselves we easily get into the trap. This is an absolutely unique one of a kind hand mounted sculpture from my series "Allegorical Meditation on the Human Touch". This series represents a meaningful story told in the form of symbolic figures and interactions between them, filled with intellectual messages delivered in aesthetical form.
