😍 SponCon: I'm a Featured #DrawnTogetherArtist on @DrawnTogetherApp !!! 😍 #DrawnTogether digitally adapts the "head, middle, legs" folded paper drawing game, commonly known as Exquisite Corpse 😎 The app is genuinely fun to use: you pick a segment and connection lines then draw whatever you want. You combine your drawing with other segments drawn by yourself or other users to make a complete work of art, that you can then enjoy in black and white or colour in to make the final really pop! 😋 I'm one of dozens of Featured Artists on @ DrawnTogetherApp and it's a who's who of local makers. The app developers are genuinely wholesome, and the app really is a fun new platform to make and share drawings, especially the social aspect! Once you combine your segments with others you've got an instant collaboration. That extends to the community aspects of the app, including following your friends 😘 I've been using @ DrawnTogetherApp as a warm up before other drafting projects. It's been a great way to let loose (within some helpful parameters) before focusing on an intentional task 😝 I also really enjoyed drawing my in-app profile picture 😍 It's free to download on the Apple app store and Google Play #commission 😍

Catching up on old posts 1/2: 🟧 Acknowledging today is Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: those who came home forever changed, those who never made it home, who did this and why, and what must be done about it. 🟧 . . 🤔 As I turn 37 today, I’m thinking about platforms and connection. Something I liked about first wave Facebook was that it told people when it was someone’s birthday in a neutral location. Then one could chose to comment bday cheer on another’s wall/profile page. If you didn’t opt-out of this feature, you would get greetings from your close circle and total randoms alike. It was kind of wholesome. On IG, one has to share their own birthday post and tbh it’s a bit more desperate ⚠️🫀 Like, um hey pals, it’s my special private death day reminder, please remember me — I was born — I’m still here, and could you like the post, heart, maybe, you don’t even have to comment, heart, as I blow out the candles I wish for love, a beating heart to connect me to you, each other, spirit, the eternal, creation, pulse, joy, laughter, to give and receive love, heart beating, beauty, beating, bouncing, beating, heart, release… Love 😭🥲🥰
