Brotzman sibling's powers: Plus and minus, absorb and release, create and take away
Hi, it's been nearly five years since the last episode aired. I was watching some dghda compilations on YouTube because I'm a screenwriter now and needed a bit of Dirk vibes for a character in the script I'm writing. Anyway, long story short, the Brotzman siblings. Their powers. I think I figured it out.
Amanda can bring things that previously were NOT part of reality into it. She can make things that were part of her mind real.
Todd on the other hand takes things from reality and makes them part of himself/his mind.
Amanda's powers are pretty obvious I think, the lighting hitting people, pulling the knife out of her hand...
But Todd, Todd absorbs the power of those around him. When he and Amanda were holding hands he was able to open the well with her, doing the same as she did (but together, like a battery, positive and negative).
Fans of wet circles. Todd KNEW that the wet circle was a clue but Dirk denied it. Given the nature of his powers he technically should've noticed at least something about it in that moment. But he didn't because Todd took over his powers and did it instead of Dirk.
It also perfectly fits Todd's kind of egoistic character. He's a taker (all the things he stole, lied about etc.) and Amanda is a giver.
Absorb and release.
The two Mandelbrot sets in their eyes. One turned inward, the other one turned outward.
That's it. Cheers and have a nice day.

Hello, I am alive and rewatching Dirk Gently with new friends (had to introduce them to the show). We’re on S2E3 and I keep having those tiny little thoughts about the big something.
Here’s  some of them:
- Todd and Amanda work like a battery. One’s the negative pole and the other one the positive. Input and output of energy. Redirecting it and transforming it.
- Holistics exist on both sides, the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’. “Whatever this thing is, it doesn’t pick sides.” They might even be the main force that move things in the universe, the most important gearwheels as one might say. I believe that for every Dirk solving cases, there’s a Dirk causing cases. For every Bart ‘cleansing’ the path that the holistics will have to take to ensure their safety (without knowing it) there’s a Mr. Priest trying to kill them.
- Friedkin’s new job in the fabric of reality is to lead the holistics to where they need to go. They, as Priest phrased it, are his weapons and he’s the one who has to pull the trigger. Friedkin now sees everything, he somewhat knows how things work. He’s got to keep the balance between everything and the holistics are his weapons to do so. Friedkin is neither good nor bad, he’s everything and nothing. Just like he did with Ken he leads the holistics to where they need to go, where they need to take their shot. He tries his best but the universe works in mysterious ways and he doesn’t always understand it. Ken asked to leave the car, so Friedkin let him out of the car but left him inside the cell. A misunderstanding. But he still provided Ken with the things he needed to follow his path. (Might rewatch the scene later and unpack it more organized).
- Season 3 would’ve been sci-fi, the main focus on magic car fixing robots. Too many mentions of car fixing stuff and way too many cars in S2 for it to be a coincidence. I’m thinking that maybe there was an UFO with robots and it landed in a lake. Robots can’t get into the water, can’t fix the UFO so instead they fix cars. Smart and lethal children got a hold of the robots and use it to help their family who owns a car repair shop thingy. The UFO or the code name for the mission may be Atlantis and the UFO is “The lost city of gold”. Far fletched, I know. It’s just an idea.
- Season 3 would have ended with Bart going to space in the UFO, together with the kids. “The only constant is me and gravity.” - Not anymore. She doesn’t want to kill people anymore - not possible in space. Oh, and Todd would die. Not a permanent thing though. It’s the Mexican Funeral after all. Season 4 would have been within the supernatural/paranormal genre and we already had mentions of ghost Estevez. I don’t know if the story would be about getting Todd back/ghost Todd/resurrecting him or something (maybe he’s in Valhalla?) or if his death is even part of the plot, not just a clue for what’s about to happen. The thing I’m remotely sure about is: After reuniting with Dirk during the magic car fixing robot case, Assistent would take Todd’s place - because Todd isn’t there anymore, reason unclear.
- Ken maybe tries to build a gigantic unlimited energy device, with the holistics as the gearwheels/power source. I’m not sure if it’s a literal machine (for which he might need the help of genius children?) or just a description for his network of unlimited power sources, aka the holistics, which he can control, send out, call back and thus cause an imbalance.
- And of course Amanda as the leader of the holistics. I love how season 1 already it, the way the Rowdy3 instinctively followed Amanda around in their van.
(- What if in S4 Dirk explored the Death of his own parents?)
That’s it so far. I’ll keep you updated during the last episodes of the rewatch.

An open apology
Hello everyone.
If you don’t feel feel like reading something negative right now you better skip this post because I’d like to take a stand on the ‘recent’ Max Landis controversies. Or rather apologize.
Yesterday I stumbled upon a letter posted by Samuel Barnett and written by Arvind Ethan David about the Landis problem in which he apologized for trusting such a person and that he had no idea that this man could be capable of such horrendous things.
Then I remembered: As soon as the first accusations dropped I was done with Landis. I unfollowed him on every single social media account, deleted every single Tweet that I had directed towards him before we found out the truth about him and even went to un-like all his posts that I had liked. But deleting a Tumblr post isn’t as easy as that. And I would also like to apologize for trusting this man.
I did not know him personally but back before the first accusation dropped I kind of looked up to him which may still be visible in some of my older posts. It wasn’t him as a person but rather the fact that he was seemingly unapologetically being himself and still he managed to produce this show with all these amazing people. And it gave me hope. I wanted to be a screenwriter (still do), I was extremely insecure about being ‘too crazy’ or ‘too much’, feared that I’d never have a chance in the show business and that I could just throw my dreams and aspirations into the garbage can. I was extremely stupid.
What he did is horrible and can not be excused. And I feel like a fool for not seeing this earlier. But neither did most of his closest co-workers.
So yeah, I am sorry for not seeing how much of a monster that guy is and would hereby like to announce that I take back every single positive thing I said about him on this Tumblr blog as well as my other Dirk-related blog @dirk-gently-theories .
Besides all that, I am not going to delete this blog nor the other one. Landis may be a horrible person but that’s got nothing to do with the show itself or the fandom. I had a great time running this blog, being a part of the fandom, coming up with all kinds of theories for the second season and most importantly I met some amazing people on here. And I will not throw all this away just because of one guy.
And neither should you.
To quote the end of David’s letter: “Your love for the show and for each other, should persist, undiminished. The global camaraderie you built must endure. That the architect has been consumed by his own darkness, does not mean the building can’t provide shelter against the storm.”
Don’t forget that Landis wasn’t the only one who worked on this. Keep enjoying the show. There’s no need to throw a whole show into the trash just because one of the persons who worked on it did some horrible things.
Let’s just forget that he ever was a part of this. Instead of focusing on the negative we should cherish what all these other amazing people created and accomplished.
That’s it. If you made it to this point: Thank you for taking the time to read this and for hopefully understanding. If you have any questions regarding this post, feel free to message me.

Hello people, quick question:
I can’t stop thinking about the freaking show (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency) and season 3. Since I’m a writer and looking for a way to keep practicing I was thinking about writing season 3 myself, twelve episodes = twelve scripts with like 90 pages.
And I was wondering if anyone is interested in joining me? Being able to do this kinda professional would be a dream come true. (Kinda professional = to have more than just one writer {but one supervisor}, like a typical writers room).
After we’ve finished it, we could post it online for all the season 3 hungry fans and also send it to the actors, writers and producers?
If you’re interested and you’ve already written something (no matter if it’s fanfic or an original story), please dm me ;)

The Brotzman Siblings
I think the Brotzman siblings definitely have a connection to the Boltzmann brains. In fact, I think that the Brotzman's are the Boltzmann brains.
For you to understand:
"In physics thought experiment, a Boltzmann brain is a self-aware entity that arises due to extremely rare random fluctuations out of a state of thermodynamic equilibrium. For example, in a homogeneous Newtonian soup, theoretically by sheer chance all the atoms could bounce off and stick to one another in such a way as to assemble a functioning human brain (though this would, on average, take vastly longer than the current lifetime of the Universe)." (~ Wikipedia)
Boltzmann brains are self-aware entities (@ "I am the conciousness that controls the body of, sees through the eyes of, and hears the thoughts of Amanda Brotzman.") different from normal human brains and can shape the world around them (Like when Amanda created the knife). But most importantly, they're connected to the fabric of the universe.
Following that theory, I think that all the holistics are technically Boltzmann brains, connected to the fabric of the universe and their 'conciousness' can't really die, like Dirk got his talent from his mother (the world needs those Boltzmann brains to keep it working and in the right order). But Todd and Amanda are the strongest of them, chosen in a time when they were needed the most and since they were in the backstage of reality, I guess they have the strongest connection to the universe/fabric of reality.

I'm telling y'all, Friedkin👏is👏going👏to👏end👏up👏in👏the👏train.
Tumblr media
We've already got this. The exclusive clip shows Priest and Blackwing scientists in front of the Cardenas house. The purple people eater is already locked up in a cage and Priest seems to know about the house within the house. He's talking about pocket dimensions and that they still need to find and figure out the other portal. Big chance of Priest, Ken and Friedkin getting to Wendimoor (which is so damn cool)
Theory: Friedkin is the villain who’s going to end up in the train in Wendimoor.
He straight up bitch slapped Moloch, I mean, I feel that poor guy. And we’ve seen the Mage burning, getting killed by a giant bee, being hanged on a cliff… He doesn’t seem to be the one ending up in the train.
But it’s just a thought at this point.
And I think that maybe, The Boy™ could be Dirk? Who has to find himself? Idk. Moloch may be the creator of Wendimoor but that doesn’t have to mean that he’s also The Boy™-boy, right? But Moloch created Wendimoor and the boy in the prophecy is wearing a crown so… I have honestly no idea.

Something that I'd like to add here:
I'm not sure about the whole dreams manifest as soon as Moloch wakes up thing. But I found something else that could support the rest of my Moloch-Wendimoor theory. It's the following quote by Wakti Wapnasi:
"Once upon a time... a boat in a field. A married couple gone missing. A gun that shoots air. And then there's a hidden house. A prophecy from another world. Surely, these pieces don't fit, left unwatered, a plant will die. Left unloved, a child could go bad. Left untended... a dream could become a nightmare."
At first we all thought that this was somehow about Mona Wilder because Wakti had the squeeze toy in her hand. But maybe it was the moment after she told Mona about "The boy"? The moment when everything started? When she sent Mona to find Dirk Gently who would find the boy?
A prophecy from another world is the thing with Wendimoor, Blackwing and Dirk that I already explained in the actual theory above this one.
Left unloved, a child could go bad. I think that this is about Arnold Cardenas. Remember his panicky "You know what I did!"? Eventually, he was the one who killed his parents because they spent most of their time with either work, fighting with each other or their in a boat found superpower child. Maybe, Arnold whispered something to Moloch in his sleep, told him a story which then became real. Marina could've killed Hector in the House Within The House because that's what Arnold told Moloch. She was shocked about what she did and wanted to hide/bury the body. Then, the purple people eater got her and killed her, left her corpse and the car up in a tree. Another tree grew around Hector. But I have honestly no idea.
Left untended... a dream could become a nightmare. Wendimoor going all evil and the families fighting each other because their 'supervisor', The Boy™ isn't there anymore. (Which I think is the result of the stroke he had as Blackwing moved him.)
What exactly happened to Wendimoor and The Boy? aka. I think I just solved the case!
Let’s begin with how the people are connected to each other. Starting with Wakti Wapnasi.
Yes, Wakti. She’s one of the most important characters here.
So: Wakti is a product of Moloch’s mind so basically she’s a splitted version of Moloch’s consciousness. She knows about the prophecy and the boy, she also kind of knows who The Boy is but not where he currently is since he disappeared from Wendimoor. She just knows where he was the last time that she was able to reach out to him in his dreams which was in Bergsberg, in the Cardenas house to be exact.
Wakti knows Mona and told her about the prophecy and the boy and Dirk Gently. Mona knows who Dirk is. She contacts him and sends him straight away to where Moloch was the last time: Bergsberg.
Then all the Wendimoor stuff happens and in the end Dirk finds the mural with the two boys on it, one of them sleeping. That’s how Dirk found Moloch. He knows who The Boy is and the most important thing: He knows where he is.
Here’s what I think happened: The story of Moloch and Wendimoor
The Cardenas found Moloch on the boat that appeared in the middle of the field. Of course they couldn’t just leave the helpless baby there so they took it with them. Soon, they learned about his powers and also how to deal with them. I think that the things that Moloch creates kind of manifest when he wakes up. That’s why Marina Cardenas was so careful not to wake him up when the purple people eater appeared and told him, to dream it into something nice. Later, Arnold was born.
They grew up together like siblings (who also fight with each other). Maybe both of the boys or just Arnold created Wendimoor. But just as the drawing on the wall. They used it to deal with what was happening in their lives, just like we do. I think everyone reading this has kind of a fantasy world in their head that they can escape into when life gets shitty again. Just like these boys. The Trosts and Dengdamors could’ve represented their parents. Notice that Silas only has a mother and Panto only a father. And they’re cowboy-ish and knight-ish because that’s what was on TV, as we can see in the scene where Dirk is in the house within the house. Also, the Trosts are farmers. One of the Cardenas wanted to keep the farm, the other one wanted to sell it. And then we have the Kellum Knights, representing the people who wanted to buy the farm, the evil ones looking at it from the perspective of a child. Last but not least Wakti Wapnasi, the forest witch who protects everyone. The real life Wakti was a doll that either belonged to Moloch or Arnold. Who hasn’t had a doll or teddy bear or whatever as a child that protected them at night? But then Hector Cardenas found it and covered it with wallpapers as punishment. He didn’t want it to become real. Just imagine what would’ve happened if Wendimoor had manifested itself outside of the Cardenas house, in the real world?
Moloch started to have nightmares. And it got worse. Arnold had to watch his parents nearly getting killed by a purple people eater and eventually it became real, that’s why it’s still in the very existent house within the house.
“I did what I had to do” and “It wasn’t human”. He’s the reason that Moloch fell into the coma that he’s still in. Maybe he attacked him with the air gun, could be the reason on why he was so horrified to see it.
Now the Cardenas had to take care of a coma child with superpowers and the hospital bills or meds, idk, were probably really expensive. Blackwing showed up, promised to take care of Moloch. The Cardenas got into a fight and killed each other or what I think, Priest (or someone else) eventually showed up. Or Marina killed Hector who sold the farm to the Kellums or the government. She drove away in shock mode. The kids witnessed it and Moloch dreamed up the purple people eater again who then killed Marina. That’s also how the car got up in the tree. And maybe Moloch also dreamed Hector into the tree? No matter who or what killed them, the result is the same. Hector and Marina were dead, the two boys didn’t have parents anymore.
Arnold ran away and got himself a new identity, never came back. Blackwing got a hold of Moloch and they bought (or just took) the Cardenas house. Marina and Hector are dead, it’s the government, who would say something against it? And that’s why the house is property of the government and was on lockdown.
Tumblr media
I think the person holding Moloch is Riggins. He started Project Blackwing but my first thought was actually because of the cap.
Notice the zzzzz’s above Moloch’s head that lead directly to the Blackwing symbols?
Dirk said that Riggins often took him to see Moloch. And remember when Friedkin wanted Dirk to touch Moloch’s forehead and magic him awake? I think that that’s what Riggins hoped would happen. So he took every single not dangerous Blackwing project (that’s why not all the symbols are on the mural) to see Moloch. They talked to him and he got to know them, added it to the drawing in Wendimoor, his story. Dirk made him his assistent, told him all these stories about him being (or becoming) a detective and soon, Dirk became his hero.
But then the big escape happened. Everyone could flee, except for coma Moloch who was left alone. He told everyone in Wendimoor (his escape fantasy world) that Dirk Gently would come and save them. He probably couldn’t psychologically age anymore because he was in the coma. Anyway.
Dirk became a legend in Wendimoor. Blackwing closed. They moved Moloch and he had the stroke that Friedkin mentioned. Moloch lost complete consciousness and Wendimoor was left to itself. The boy, their ruler; gone. Everything fell slowly apart, drowning in chaos.
“Farson told me they had been waiting for Dirk for years!” - Amanda. I think the years probably refers to the time after the big escape where Moloch hoped his friend would come back and then the image of Dirk manifested itself in the minds of all the Wendimoorians as soon as The Boy was gone.
Like Amanda, Wakti (aka. a part of Moloch’s consciousness?) is connected to the thing, the fabric of reality, just like Mona and Amanda can reach out through the water to the others which is why she’s the one to unite them all. I think it was Max who said that Blackwing thought that the powers are as simple as just “Shapeshifting”, “Finds stuff” and “Turns invisible”, but it’s not. They’re all connected to the thing which means also connected to each other. That’s how Wakti managed to reach out to both, Amanda and Mona. They’re all connected to the same water-ish realm.
Wakti can see and reach out through the water. Mona can travel through it or shape into it? Still unsure about that. And in the first season, we saw Amanda having her first vision where she had full space Mandelbrot make-up and was laying, you guess it, in water where she heared Wakti’s voice.
And here we are again.
Wakti contacting Mona who knows Dirk who knows the boy.

Agrajag, the Mage & Suzie Boreton
What if Agrajag was foreshadowing for the Mage dying again and again in Wendimoor as seen in the prophecy? And what if Suzie will be trapped with him in there and get really really mad at him which results in her killing him?
Suzie had that one sentence, the "I am real.", which made me think that she could be a part of Wendimoor in the end? Agrajag being her very first victim and the Mage the last one?
We've already seen Suzie literally being shot in the head, but she just removed the bullet? Technically, she could do the same thing to the Mage, right?
And in one of Max's movie pitches, the one called Splatter (you can find it on YouTube), he has that one character who loves to hurt people and long story short, the dude finds his destiny in 'killing' or rather torturing vampires, stopping them from ending the existence of any more people. The vampires don't die so he doesn't have to feel bad for killing someone and can live out his sick fantasies.
What if that's going to be Suzie's finale character development? And killing the Mage for the first time could be the reason that she got his tattoo? The Mage loves to hurt people (like sticking pins into poor Bob Boreton's face), maybe Suzie copies her mentor's hobby in the end?

Maybe a connection to the Princess ad "She get seven flowers"?
There was also the frog, maybe because Suzie turned Scott into one?

No offence but why the fuck does Dirk have a rope around his neck???

Wakti Wapnasi Doll?
I’ve had this idea that maybe Max’ new friend (the doll, photo from his Instagram) could be Wakti? Because of the hat, clothes and eyes.
I sent him a tweet and he liked it so maybe there is something true behind it. Could be relevant for new theories or something and I thought I should tell you :)

Updated version:
Carman=Cardenas and their sons
Including a theory about Wakti Wapnasi, Amanda and the Mage
(EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED)
The update version of my theory, after having watched "Shapes and Colors" is the following;
The Cardenas had two children. Arnold Cardenas and his brother who is Moloch.
The two brothers used to love playing cowboys. Then one day a boat fell from the sky and Arnold found a creature in it, Wakti Wapnasi. He brought her home and she gave him presents. Like the air gun and the house within the house, including the purple people eater.
I think that the house within the house was one of the first ones. Then the gun and the purple people eater. Everything spiraled out of control.
At first it was all fun and games. Arnold had the air gun, both of the brothers dressed up as cowboys. He pointed it at his brother as we can see on the pictures on the wall.
Tumblr media
He pulled the trigger, not knowing that it was actually dangerous and hurt his brother. Bad. He fell into the coma that he is still in (or used to be, who knows what Amanda is capable of?).
The boys were separated. The Cardenas put their unconscious son into the room with the cowboy stuff:
Tumblr media
And Arnold into the room without windows and just a bed. Punishment. They didn't want him to hurt his brother again.
Tumblr media
Little Arnold, left alone with nothing but his imagination, a pack of crayons and a TV (showing knights) created Wendimoor, not knowing that it would become real. It was the thing that saved him from the real world, just like Dirk had that fantasy about Todd and Farah saving him and starting a real detective agency.
Then the flying purple people eater escaped (or he did before all of this happened, idk.)
The government noticed the Cardenas' and their sons, or well, the purple people eater. Priest arrived later to find the psychic responsible for this monster. Then he killed their parents (notice the broken fingers on Mr. Cardenas' hand? He did the same thing to Vogel).
Arnold managed to escape just in time into the house within the house. Priest found Moloch and probably came to the same conclusion as we did at first: Everything of these things came from a child's imagination. And Moloch was the only child he could find so he took him with him to Blackwing. Mission Diamond. (Or whatever it was called.)
After a few hours or even days, Arnold crawled out of his hiding spot. He found his brother missing and his parents dead. He didn't know what to do and was scared because he thought that all of this was his fault.
So he asked Wakti to help him one last time and she let the trees grow around the corpses. After all, she's a forest witch. Then, as he said, he took care of it. It wasn't human. He ended it.
Arnold killed Wakti (or that's what he thought he did) and put barricades in front of the entrance to the house within the house. He left everything behind, even his own name.
But Wakti wasn't dead. She managed to survive and wants her revenge. Maybe she needs a child's fantasy or something like that (Moloch-child sacrifice) and now that Arnold is gone, she's connected to Moloch, living from his energy. Or maybe she only survived because she escaped into Wendimoor, the last piece of a child's imagination left after Arnold was gone. But I think that there's definitely a connection between her and Moloch.
The point is: She's the villain from the prophecy and Amanda is her apprentice. Wakti wants to cross over into the real world and "Find the boy" (Arnold?) and get her revenge (or lunch?) But her child is in a coma and that's why she isn't strong enough, she needs Amanda.
Everyone is just a puppet for her. The Mage for example. She probably told him that he will be rewarded (parallel to Dirk telling Todd that the universe will reward him and we know how that ended) but then he saw the prophecy. "This isn't how it was supposed to be."
He helped Wakti to forge a fire between the Trosts and the Dengdamors so that she could be the good one. She that knows Amanda would never help her if she knew that she's the villain.
I think that Mona was Wakti's first try on finding her apprentice. Mona, the easily to manipulate and unloved child. Wakti gave her love (just like she does it with Amanda now) and Mona played after her rules. Still does, kind of. But Mona wasn't strong enough. Amanda is.
Lamia can't close her eyes. I think that when she has green eyes (just like Wakti), it's Wakti seeing through her eyes.
And remember the part in Amanda's vision where something crawled out of the bathtub? Panic Pete (aka. Mona) next to it on the toilet, with glowing eyes just like it had them after Wakti pulled it out of the water? And the hand coming out of the bathtub, grabbing the edge of it looks like Wakti's. Plus the photo on Max' Instagram of that green eye and wrinkled skin. I don't have photos of it at the moment, I'll add it if I find them again. Or maybe you guys have these? I think the thing in the bathtub is Wakti and Amanda helped her reach the other side, thinking she's doing a good thing.
And @ the Amanda is her apprentice thing: We know that Amanda is going to turn into a giant snail at some point in this season (like Wakti?) and that she has to wear a heavy special hat. Maybe also the same one as Wakti is wearing?
Oh, and with Moloch being in a coma and Arnold trapped in the room without any windows, it would explain why there wasn't anything about children in the files.
Well... That was my theory but I probably forgot something else than just the pictures. Anyway. Let me know what you think :)

Purple people eater
What if the one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater isn't actually evil?
I mean, in the song we hear that it only eats purple people and Dirk was wearing a purple jacket. So maybe it's really friendly to people wearing other colours?

#SaveDirkGently
Is the show in danger?: This website that monitors scifi shows possible cancellations reckons it is. The ratings for season 2 are lower than season 1.
Why start now?: The renewal for season 2 came halfway through season 1, after episode 4 aired. Since season 2 is 10 episodes the halfway point will be after episode 5 which airs 11/11/17, this Saturday.
What do I do?: Participate in the social media campaign starting tomorrow.
It will be spilt it up into two weeks:
Week 1 begins 11/8/17: Use #SaveDirkGently to share why you love the show, how much you want it to continue, etc.
Week 2 begins 11/15/17: Use #RowdyForS3 on twitter and #RowdyForSeason3 everywhere else and post a picture of yourself making the Rowdy 3 symbol (holding up 3 fingers) and include how much you want a season 3.
We will also have twitter power hours where we all post at the same time and tag the bbcamerica, amc, and international Netflix accounts. We are planning to have one on Saturday 11/11/17 at 8pm eastern time, one hour before the show airs. More details will be posted about the power hours soon.
Any art using either of these hashtags is also highly encouraged! Season 3 is rumored to involve aliens so feel free to incorporate that into the art if you like.
If you have more ideas please share them! Oh and please tell your friends!

Hello yes I'd just like to point out that there are new Blackwing signs in the opening titles. There's: • Icarus • Marzanna • Incubus • Lamia • Getus • Carman and later Miru but I don't have a screenshot of it. I'll probably add one later. The arrangement of the Icarus symbols on the left also looks like the Bel symbol. I think that Carman could be connected to the Cardenas. First: The name thingy Max seems to love. CARman, CARdenas plus the CAR with the dead Cardena woman in the CAR. And then the 'coincidence' of the Wikipedia entry for Carman saying that she (Carman) was buried among oak trees. Looking at the drawing in the first part of the episode, she (the skeleton representing the Cardenas or at least one of them) is not stuck in the tree but buried under it. (Another theory on that will follow. I think I kind of know the connection between Wendimoor and Dirk's dimension.)
