Guilt is completely useless in your life. It doesn't drive you, and it doesn't benefit you in any way.
Cut that motherfucker out and live free.
(Unless you're a serial murderer :/ Then yeah, you should probably feel some guilt)

What would you do for vampire make up? I love crazy eyeliner and was thinking something with that??
Oh hell yeah!! We love vampires!
I would say that's gonna depend on what you feel comfortable doing with your skillset, but with makeup, I like to tell people that if they have time for it, shoot well outside your skillset. Sure, it might be frustrating, but maybe you'll end up with something else you like, or if nothing at all, you'll learn something new!
That being said, here are a few inspo pics for a quicker, easier eyeliner.

Or if you're feeling super ambitious, I thought these were hella cool!

Anything with an elongated v or wing is pretty much a go-to for vampires since it'll really give you that smulder.
Typically, when I do crazier liners like this, I like to kind of mismatch them a little. I'm not a big fan of symmetry, so if I did this, I would pair the top right with the bottom left. Do one eye super pristine and just do something crazy on the other. I apply this to regular winged liner too, sometimes I'll do one up towards my eyebrow and one upside-down. I'd say just play around and don't worry too much about them matching. Also, have fun with the colors. You're not stuck with black. Try purple, red, whatever!
Want a crazy color eyeliner you don't have? Spray a little bit of water in an eyeshadow and use a brush to apply like eyeliner.

There are no rules to fashion or makeup, but here are a few tips!
This isn't true for everyone, but in my time, I have noticed that vampire and gothic fashion seem to typically like to keep things very angular. So you'll want to try to keep clean lines. Your lines can be blended or sharp, but keeping things straight and clean or "elegant" is pretty common.
Most of the time, when you're wearing a heavy black liner, my advice is to smudge or blend a gray or a brown or more black under it. That way, when it smears, because it will always smear, it looks intentional. 😅
When I'm doing stuff like vampires or zombies (other dead things), I like to take a red blush on a fluffy eyeshadow brush and blend it on my lower lashline or line with a red eyeliner. To take this one step further, take an eyeshadow that matches close to what your natural eye circles are (for me, it's purple) and follow circle lightly building up the color until your happy with it. If you don't naturally have dark circles (lucky bastard), try to think of the colors your bruises usually are.
Another thing to do when you're a dead character is to use your usual base and set it with a white eyeshadow on a fluffy face brush instead of your regular powder. Or if you're not a base wearer like me, lotion/primer, then powder! Again, start slow, and a little can go a long way! Especially if you have a darker complexion.
Going off that, try contouring with grays and blues instead of warm skin tone colors. It'll give more of a sunken, dead look.
If you're not a big lipstick fan, a great thing to do for vampires is to use a blood-red color in the center of your lips like this. 🔻 I like to use lipstains for this since they're more sheer.
Tumblr media
If you want to be a little grosser with it: take your regular concealer and add just a dab of a pale blue to it and mix. Apply your red to the inside of your lips, and let it dry. Then pucker, and blend the blue concealer on your puckered lips. When you let your lips relax, you'll have a disgustingly chapped, dead lipped look.
Also, drawing veins on is always fun! Use an eyeshadow or pencil for this. Look at the veins in your wrists for color reference. Draw some sick little squiggles and tap lightly with your finger to defuse or build the color if you prefer.
Thanks for the ask, and I hope I gave you some good inspo!!
Feel free to send me any more questions, and if you feel like it, tell me how your costume went.
Have fun, make sure you feed yourself, and drink some damn water!

Hey kids, good morning
Just wanted to remind you that if, for whatever reason, someone who is no longer in your life reaches out to you... Just remember they're not in your life for a reason, and you owe them nothing.
It's okay to not be able to forgive and forget, that doesn't make you a bad person. 🖤

So call me a softy, I wanna make sure no one dies from halloween costume related problems this year so here are...
5 MORE ways to not kill yourself while doing your makeup for Halloween!!!!
1.) There are some pretty cool masks and prosthetics out there, especially ones that will warp you features into something else, including your mouth and nose. If you didn't know this already, you need both these things to be able to breathe! So it's not always a great idea to cover both. If you're using/wearing anything that is covering your face, QUADRUPLE CHECK THAT IT WILL NOT HINDER YOUR ABILITY TO BREATHE.
● Check to see if it has holes. If it does, that doesn't mean you're in the clear! Put it on without glue, and make sure you can breathe. Can't breathe? Poke some more holes and check again until you feel like you can take multiple deep breaths comfortably.
2.) There are also a lot of cool products out there that can do the same for your eyes! But know what you're using, and check your eye products before you get yourself in trouble.
●Are your contacts expired, ripped, scratched, dirty, infested, or cursed? Double check that they aren't.
Also, make sure your contacts source is reputable and that you trust them.
● Can you see through them? Are they comfortable? Double check that, too!
DO NOT WALK IN HEAVILY CROWDED AREAS OR DRIVE, PERIOD. IF YOU CAN NOT SEE OUT OF YOUR CONTACTS TO ANY DEGREE WHATSOEVER!!!!
● Using colored eye drops? Great! Here are a few things to know about those.
If it's your first time using them, do a patch test on your wrist, if you have no reaction try them before you plan on using them.
Make sure your eye drops are up to date and not expired.
Do not use them if they smell AT ALL! They most definitely shouldn't smell like alcohol!
Most colored eye drops are not contact friendly, so check the product you're using. If it doesn't say explicitly that you can use them with contacts, assume you can't.
Have sensitive eyes? You should probably avoid these.
Know that the specific Krylon brand of colored eye drops are extremely realistic! So be prepared to be asked if you're okay a lot! 😅
Also, for the love of everything earthly, PLEASE DON'T INJECT STUFF INTO YOUR EYEBALLS!!!!
3.) KNOW WHAT YOU ARE USING!!!!!!!
I know this was in the last post, but I forgot about this part of it! A lot of dollar store or halloween store products may contain stuff like BHA & BHT, Parfum – aka fragrance, Coal Tar Dyes, Petroleum, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, DEA & related chemicals, Dibutyl Phthalate, Parabens, Siloxanes, PEG Compounds and their contaminants, Triclosan, Formaldehyde releasing preservatives. Some of which can cause irritation while some have been declared toxic by the American CDC, so ALWAYS CHECK YOUR LABELS!!!!!
4.) Craft products (paints, markers, etc.) ARE NOT MAKEUP!!!!!!!
There are absolutely no craft products that double as makeup products! I don't care if it says nontoxic, washable, or anything else. IT IS NOT FOR YOUR SKIN!
5.) Just 'cause it says "syrup" doesn't mean you can eat it.
● So if you've ever been to a party store, chances are you've seen "mouth safe" fake blood, "edible" fake blood, and regular fake blood. Like a lot of people, you've probably assumed there was no difference, but I am here to tell you there's a BIG difference!
Please, please do not put regular fake blood in your mouth!!!!! Let's just say there's a good reason it doesn't have a "mouth safe" or "edible" lable, okay? Not for mouth!!!
● And mouth safe blood doesn't necessarily mean it's "edible", it's fine to be in your mouth for a short amount of time but it's not meant to be ingested, keep that in mind. Sometimes, mouth safe bloods are edible, so just check the label.
● Edible fake blood is totally cool to ingest. Just be aware that most of these are made with sugars and syrups, so if you are diabetic or have any other food sensitivities, as always check the label!
If you have any questions about anything, feel free to reach out through asks or comments! Once again, this is a secondary blog, so responding comments will come from my main (@morgynemberisagenderfluiddaddy )
Other than that, please have a fun and SAFE halloween!

Can't find the og tweet, but here's a shitty screenshot with solid advice!
[A tweet from poster Page Turner. It reads: Anyway, it's good to tell people you think they're talented or that they're good at things.
Pay them compliments even if you think it's obvious.
Because a lot of other people probably passed them by without telling them that either.
And it's probably not obvious to them.]
