Can you do headcannons of like,, reader who have an past that its almost like kanos past and, after leqrning that, Kano starts to act in a more protective way and starts to bem a more like big brother to the reader

Kano will probably pick up on any tells you might have that you're an abuse/trauma survivor before you tell him just because he can relate

Because of this (but he probably makes an effort for everyone jic anyway) he will always make sure to communicate what he's doing (in case sudden movements are a trigger) or feeling (I.e to make sure you don't think he's angry at you or going to yell or anything)

Eventually once you do open up about your past trauma(s) he's going to be really supportive! He'll tell you a bit about his own trauma so you know he can relate

He's protective in the way that he learns the signs for when you're upset / feeling unsafe and starts to combat them early on. For example if someone raises their voice and you start to tense up he'll step in to calm them down or distract them etc.

But also if anyone ever tries to hurt you he will fight them!! He is absolutely willing to throw down for his friends/family !

Eventually the more time you spend with the mkd he really will just start to treat you like a sibling

If you are younger than him even slightly ur a baby now/lh. He will take every chance possible to fuss over you. You and Mary are now baby sibling solidarity.

If you're older than him he will also exaggerate this and call you ancient/lh this will also be his excuse to lovingly inconvenience you every chance he gets (only in a funny way tho!)

Kano is already clingy as hell so he is in absolute bliss at you clinging to him!

In fact this would probably start before you even started dating just because he's clingy in general and especially once he started crushing on you he'd want to lay on and cling to you as much as physically possible.

He can and will whine/lh when you can't cling to him because you're doing something or if he has to do something that you can't cling to him during (RIP Kido or Seto trying to get him to do any housework while you're visiting </3)

While you're clingy a lot of the Mekakushi Dan is ALSO very clingy/p so you have to be down for the occasional cuddle pile with his siblings/friends too

Mary specifically will take any chance to simply lay on both of you like a cat and this is a plus because you now have a baby sister to cuddle both of you/p

"If you cling to each other while walking you're gonna fall over," skeptics say but depending on if one of you is small/light enough may I introduce you to the revolutionary concept of piggyback rides! Only cowards stop clinging when they're on the move/lh

If you're okay with PDA this will also lead to a lot of little kisses because he is a lovebug and also very sappy at all times

Yes! Since u didn’t specify I’ll do a headcanons hope that’s okay!

He’d be nonbinary solidarity and would want to make looking at pronoun lists and picking out cute new pronouns to try out a dating activity if you used multiple pronouns!

Regardless of if you told him ahead of time or not about your wheelchair he’d be really excited to see you in it the first time in part because he knows without having to ask that it helps you and is glad that you have that support and also because he simply thinks all mobility aids are neat.

He’d, if you were comfortable, want to stop to look at any decorations/stickers/personal touches you have on your chair and compliment them. The bar is honestly very low here but he really would just see this as another aspect of you to admire so it would an overwhelmingly positive thing. Once he got used to it though he’d be very casual about it, naturally.

Also after finding out about your disability he’d be a little more protective over you, making sure that you’re not straining yourself and are getting the rest that you need. He’s probably too small to carry you if you’re tired but he can and will whine at you to come lay down with him if you are starting to get tired. 

Some routes it’s possible he develops a similar disability/need for a wheelchair so if that ever happens he’ll be like look omg we’re matching and will want to get matching heart stickers to put on your chairs to be cute and gay
