That's like saying a homeowner commits 'the same violence' if he shoots someone who breaks in with an assault rifle. Tbf, even Nemesis didn't know Serios/Rhea was a Nabatean until she explicitly asks him whether he remembers what happened at the Red Canyon before killing him. But digressing from that, even if we want to pretend that the 10 elites didn't know about the origins of their powers/weapons (which I mean did it ever cross their mind to ask why drinking blood/red liquid and using these carved out weapons would give them power?), they still chose to wage a war with Nemesis and conquer the land. So no, they're not innocent misled people Agarthan stans, try harder.

Right?? They still waged a war for a hundred years and committed atrocities. Nemesis was ruthless and so were his elites.

Is there any reason the fe3h wikis are saying that the 10 elite didn't know about the origin of their powers and weapons? The only reference used is an abyss text from an elite's journal saying they didn't understand why Serios hated them so much, but none of them even knew Serios was Nabatean because she was hiding her ears and using blonde hairdye.

Is there another source that says otherwise or am I not connecting the dots here?

That statement always confused me tbh. Everything points more to the Ten Elites knowing exactly what happened and that they were complicit in it. According to the devs, humans wanted power so they killed a dragon and looted their corpse to kill the next strongest dragon. That was what gave rise to Fodlan's Ten Elites and Nemesis (who got his technology from the Agarthans).

I believe the jp version is more of a "What did Nemesis do to Seiros?" Seiros was a complete stranger to them. Nobody knew she was a Nabatean. They're like "why the fuck is she so pressed like the fuck did he even do to her?"

But reading your tags I agree and that's why FGrima doesn't exist in this house, MGrima gets some lore and is treated as a threat while FGrima exists to be sexy lady. There was this post I saw a long time ago that compared to two and wow. I will never not be mad about this.

You know full well how I detest humans. They have no qualms asking for divine assistance when it meets their fickle needs... But how quick they are to shun their benefactors once they get what they desire. They become arrogant and make the same mistakes repeatedly, incapable of learning the folly of their ways. They claim their actions are for the good of others, but that's merely a show of self-indulgence. Humans are selfish. And the ugliness of mankind has turned me repulsive.

I don't think FEH will ever do it but I think a Rhea and Grima harmonic duo would be fascinating, one watched humans murder her whole race mother included, and make weapons OUT OF THEIR BONES and yet due to her mother's love of humanity she didn't murder them all in retaliation; instead she cherished them, watched them grow and even helped out when she could. Meanwhile Grima gets betrayed once (or maybe a couple of times we don't have much on him) and decides all of humanity has to burn, wipe them all out. What happens to Rhea and all she has to do to keep herself and her kind protected in a way gives evidence to his viewpoint about humanity but she does the total opposite of what he does for being slighted. I don't know if he'd think she's pathetic for it or be impressed with it all but I don't know it's just very interesting to think about! Sadly harmonics are never that deep BUT THEY COULD BE

Instead we get Edelgard and Altina in swimsuits. And even THEY could've had a deep conversation, but nooo.

I donate to the innocence project every month. I'm also sending money to a falsely accused guy in a very high profile homicide case, though I will not specify who. I wasn't going to publish these but honestly, I have to point this out. Either this is Raxis, Vagrantsea, one of the people in the death threat screenshots, or some other party that has been directly involved in the harassment... or this is a COMPLETE rando with NO stakes in this conflict trying to convince me that if THEY are a good person, that somehow makes the people who harassed me justified to harass me. If it's the latter, that just elevates this ENTIRE ask to the level of absurdist comedy and I can't not share that. Like, imagine if you saw someone get mugged, it's on video, and as they're being arrested a complete rando who doesn't know anyone involved jumps in to be like "no they couldn't have mugged anyone, because I donate to charity!" But for the sake of argument, we're going to assume this comes from someone actually directly involved.

So first, congratulations! I hope you do actually do all of those things. But also, what a weaselly, pathetic little argument to make in response to me, again, talking about how I've gotten death threats and harassment. "You weren't harassed even though there's screenshots of it, and even if you were I'm actually a GOOD PERSON, SEE!"??? What exactly do you expect my response to be here? It's really sad that it's difficult for me to go back to 3H cause anytime I think about replaying the game, I start thinking of the fandom wank and discourse that makes me stray from it.

Yeah.. The discourse really caused a burnout on Fodlan. It's hard to even look back on it fondly when there are so many negative experiences attached to it.

It's a little interesting how Edelstans tend to say that Edelgard (totally real) meritocracy would let anyone rise and fall and how that's why she's the best, when one of FE's most infamous characters who held that exact same view AND canonically had that view BE FAVORABLE among their populace... was fucking ASHNARD.
